The report functions were hard to use and time-consuming. We needed more in-depth reporting, which Absorb said they had. The initial setup was not easy at all. There is a severe lack of options to do anything in bulk, which is hugely necessary for a company our size. **What problems is Absorb LMS solving and how is that benefiting you?** Absorb LMS housed our content and organized users, but it created more problems than it solved. The platform was unnecessarily complicated from the administrator perspective, with hard-to-use and time-consuming report functions. ### 2. The experience can be personalized for different segments (communication, course catalog) and various engagement features can make the learning experience more interactive (polls and surveys, segment-level forums) **What do you dislike about Absorb LMS?** While it's easy to use, it is a bit rigid regarding front-end options. The ways content can be displayed are pretty limited and often not optimal. Absorb LMS disposes of APIs, but out-of-the-box integrations to other systems seem to be lacking. **What problems is Absorb LMS solving and how is that benefiting you?** Absorb LMS allowed us to scale up our training processes and switch over to a 1tomany training approach without missing out on the quality of content delivery. It also provides a centralized hub for all educational content for our users. ### 3. Run, run far **Rating:** 0.0/5.0 stars **Reviewed by:** Rebecca M. | Content Developer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.) **Reviewed Date:** December 19, 2018 **What do you like best about Absorb LMS?** Speed of page access never slowed down no matter how many users we got. **What do you dislike about Absorb LMS?** The support is atrocious and they DO NOT CARE. It took 33 days for them to solve a major reporting malfunction (which they said I should do manually in the meantime), which I just discovered was not fully solved. The wait continues. I also had a major show-stopping issue with the system and it took several days for them even to get back to me about it. The software itself seems robust, but most of the features are lacking when you get down to actually using them. I've had to use many, many workarounds to get it to be an "ok" user experience for my audience. **Recommendations to others considering Absorb LMS:** Try LearnUpon! We are switching to that and we love it. **What problems is Absorb LMS solving and how is that benefiting you?** I was trying to solve for the learning curve of our company product. It really just made it harder for learners to access learning. ### 4. LMS that needs work **Rating:** 1.0/5.0 stars **Reviewed by:** Verified User in Insurance | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.) **Reviewed Date:** January 18, 2018 **What do you like best about Absorb LMS?** It worked for enrolling associates in various courses and I could put together a particular course track and enroll students in the entire track with one enrollment per user. **What do you dislike about Absorb LMS?** Overall the site design is bad, functionality is poor and reporting is very difficult and not user friendly. Generally the user experience is not great for me as an admin or my students as users. We are going to be moving away from eLogic to another vendor which not only meets our requirements but has more elegant solutions to those requirements, for an LMS UX should be important but to eLogic it is definitely secondary. **Recommendations to others considering Absorb LMS:** Spend the money to get something better, your users will appreciate it. **What problems is Absorb LMS solving and how is that benefiting you?** Using as an LMS to house and distributed e-courses as well as manage and track registration for live courses. ## Absorb LMS Discussions -
