“Music Lesson Scheduler”
What do you like best?

I schedule high school music lessons where students can sign up on a weekly basis for what works in their schedule. This system allows students to choose from the availability I have set and work within their own hectic schedules for a time that is best for them. My attendance rate has sky-rocketed for lessons since switching to this system this year. I am paying for the advanced settings and plan to continue for the foreseeable future. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike?

It can be a bit of a learning curve as you are working through your own calendar to 'talk' to youcanbook.me which can seem backward. I watched the videos to learn more and that does take time to devote to truly learning the system. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering the product:

I highly recommend purchasing the subscription version. It gives far more access to features that are incredibly useful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

My student attendance rate for lessons is currently at approximately 95% for this school year. This system is allowing families the flexibility to accommodate their schedules. I also have it set up for them to tell me what they have been working on so when we go to their lesson we immediately jump into the content. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

“Nimble and Innovative Service Provider... and they're Local?! Doesn't get better than OpenPhone!”
What do you like best?

I LOVE how quick they respond to questions. The convenience of reaching out to support staff through text is a godsend. Quick solutions to my questions allow me more time to focus on other elements of the business. I cannot express how grateful I am to OpenPhone for providing a viable service that is easy to access through my existing phone. I can easily tell the difference between my personal calls and business calls. Multiple clients have expressed how much they appreciate the convenience of being able to reach out to me with questions, etc., which is made possible by OpenPhone's excellent service. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike?

Need to test this a bit more, but service has been spotty outside of Waterloo region (could also be something with my internet connection). There have been a few interruptions within the region as well, but this usually coincided with local internet outages and this has only happened twice in 5 months. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

In starting a business I believed that I'd have to buy a new phone, set up a separate line, and that navigating this would've been a headache. OpenPhone has a simple enrollment, intuitive user interface, responsive support staff, and at an extremely affordable rate. An added bonus (that I didn't even think would be an option!) is that their app. allows me to use my existing phone. They came through in the clutch with that one. “Quick and easy way to coordinate schedules”
What do you like best?

We use Doodle to gauge peoples' availability on different days and times when trying to schedule a call, meeting, or videoconference for a group of people. It's effective at this task, much moreso than just asking everyone what times they can do. It's also free at the lowest level, which has proven sufficient for most of my needs. I don't know what pricing is like at higher levels, nor what additional functionalities come with increased price points.. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike?

Honestly, there's not much I dislike about it. It's great at what I use it for, which is basic availability polling to arrange meetings, calls, videoconferences, etc. I don't know much about other functionalities, so can't comment regarding those. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering the product:

It works quite well for what I use it for, which is basic polling of peoples' availability at different dates/times for meetings, calls, etc. It's also free at the lowest level, which is all I need given the small size of my organization. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

We use Doodle to gauge peoples' availability at different times when trying to schedule a call, meeting, or videoconference. It's much easier than having people send emails with what times they can/can't make it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

“Human Resources Perspective on Paylocity”
What do you like best?

As a Human Resources employee, I found that Paylocity has simplified my role through multiple different modules. I find that the search tool through HR & Payroll is easy to use when I need to quickly lookup an employee's profile/salary/and direct reports. A feature that I also enjoy is the customization of forms for example in Performance Management. It enabled our organization to edit the forms that adapted to the paper forms that we previously used. The best feature within Performance Management is the filter and the dashboard. I find it very helpful when an employee needs a status update and I am able to quickly find them through the filter feature and see which status it is in and who touched the review last. The Recruiting & Onboarding module is the most actively used in our HR team and has tremendously increased the amount of RECs we receive and have hired more employees through Paylocity. It keeps the recruiters organized and structured throughout the recruiter's lifecycle. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike?

Some of the issues that occur in Paylocity are connectivity issues. The site will freeze up and abruptly have errors when clicking onto a new page. That can be frustrating at times, not only for the HR team but for all employees. The notification system is the biggest pain point within the organization. I will receive emails from employees who complain about the notifications that seem to be broad about what is being asked of them. The notification system in Performance Management does not notify the employee or the reviewer of the next steps, such as when the review has been completed or signed. A feature that I would like to see happen within Performance Management is to allow for multiple reviewers on the review instead of one. Our organization has a couple of departments that require two or more reviewers and it's difficult to manage to reassign the review to each reviewer. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

The biggest problem that was solved with Paylocity is through Payroll. Our Accounting & Finance team were previously using Quickbooks. Paylocity allowed these teams to effectively and efficiently send out payroll on time and track reports with ease. Paylocity allows for employees to manually set up their direct deposit, W4, and all other tax-related information at any time. Payroll can then go in and approve the changes and reach out to the employees if there were any issues. Before Paylocity, Payroll would have to send out the paystubs via email, and sometimes those got lost in the email black hole, now employees can view their paystubs at any time, or anywhere and download them when needed. “Powerful, Feature Rich, and Simple to Use”
What do you like best?

I've been using Bamboo for nearly a year. My company isn't using every single feature that Bamboo offers, but the features that our company uses now are great.

For me, a simple user interface is the most important aspect of any platform and Bamboo delivers that. I was actually out of the office during our internal Bamboo training sessions, but I was able to figure out the platform myself.

We also use Bamboo for new hire onboarding and Bamboo has automated triggers that are delivered in the form of an email to all the process stakeholders. We were previously sending emails manually prior to using this feature, and as you can imagine, things always slipped through the cracks.

Bamboo absolutely nailed basic features like requesting/approving time off, seeing who's out of office and employee work anniversaries. I also like the performance review, hiring, and company directory pieces of this software. Again, easy to use and has all the features you would expect from a world class HRIS. Bamboo can also be deployed internationally which our previous HRIS, Paycom, couldn't do. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike?

Honestly, at this point I haven't found anything I don't like. I have used Workday and various other HR systems in my career and Bamboo is my favorite. Workday was very a comprehensive platform, but the UI wasn't as intuitive (granted this was 3 years ago and they may have improved this since). We were using Paycom prior to Bamboo and I can definitely say that Bamboo is LIGHT YEARS beyond Paycom. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

There are 3 main areas that we are now accomplishing tasks better and faster since switching from Paycom to Bamboo.

1. Hiring - Communicating with candidates and sharing candidate profiles with hiring managers is seamless.

2. Performance Reviews - Prior to Bamboo, we were delivering performance reviews manually with Word docs and tracking this process in Excel. Bamboo has automated reminders that help a lot!

3. Company Directory - We didn't have a directory prior to Bamboo. Bamboo executes this feature flawlessly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

“This is the DEFINITIVE Online Employee Scheduling Software YOU were looking for !!!”
What do you like best?

It doesn't look like your typical gray interface, with bugs all over the place that kicks you out without any reason. This dashboard has QUALITY. Easy, quick, intuitive and very customizable interface. I can manage my time, my vacations, my days off and pretty much just own my time at work without really going through emails and weird steps. It manages my own time at work just PERFECT !!! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike?

I wanna be honest. The most I try to find negative points within Humanity, the most I like it. Nothing to dislike at all, I haven't got a single bug this whole year I have been working with Porch.com. And I am 100% Humanity will be getting better and better with upcoming updates. Maybe adding some different colors schemes could be fun! A dark version would be really nice. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering the product:

Just relax. This is a stable and intuitive dashboard. This is all you need in your company. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

These are the problems that Humanity solved to me as a employee.

1. Feeling comfortable to manage my own working productivity (working hours, availability, leaves, vacations)

2. No need to go into a further training to learn how to use the system. It only took minutes so I could be able to manage my dashboard.

Other Problems I solved are: Not going over too many steps or people to request my schedule to be changed and/or updated. Everything is real time, including the notifications. The website design is beautiful. This is way ahead than other dashboards I have ever seen in my life, and once again, is customizable! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Top Meeting Software Result from Video Conferencing

“Whereby is a video conferencing tool that simplifies everything”
What do you like best?

I think that Whereby values simplicity, it's quick, easy and to the point. All you have to do, if you are the host, is create an account, generate a link and you are ready to start talking in the video conference. The attendees have an even easier way to join, they just have to click the link you have given them, no accounts, no downloads, truly minimalistic. The links you have created can also be given on the phone as the links are very simple to say and share, they are a bunch of jumbled numbers. The meeting holds up to 50 people which more than enough for my 30 student class. Chat is also available to the students who can't afford a microphone. It is feature-packed but remains very easy to use. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike?

The screen sharing feature is a huge problem as it is almost never reliable. The screen that is being shown can cut out, lag, or have it's audio jumbled/removed. My students have complained a lot about this and how it is affecting their learning as most of the information is seen through that feature. I have tried resetting, reloading and restarting to no avail. However, I did managed to fix it by messaging support but it took them 2 weeks to respond which is not a good sign of good customer support. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering the product:

Whereby is a very useful video conferencing tool that can be used by anyone due to its ease of use. Apart from screen sharing, Whereby is perfect in every criteria of a video conferencing application. Not needing to download it, puts your students and yourself in a better standpoint in computer security. It's ease of use makes it easier for students and yourself to navigate and fully grasp the features of this amazing technology. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

A benefit that both my students and myself see as a great one is the recording feature. I am able to record sessions of video conferencing with ease which is something I don't see many platforms having. Students can go back to recordings and check out some of the information that they may have forgotten and/or necessary for the assignment/exam. I also go back to see what I have taught and what I have yet to cover. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

“Potent platform for online conferencing with remote colleagues & customers”
What do you like best?

UberConference needs just an email contact information, it's straightforward, and the sound quality is quite good; even for the new attendees, it's easy to share the screen. Apart from the software that has a modern, easy user interface, I'm most delighted that Uber Conference has given me a way to

make a conference with all of my clients without the trouble of asking users to download browser add-ons. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike?

The drawback is that its mobile application lacks adaptive features compared to its web application. Also, the pricing plans are higher than other solutions with similar functions in the market. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

To sum up, this app is very well designed, and it is, of course, an efficient piece of software designed specifically for audio conferencing and screen sharing. Since, there is no option to have video, which results in an effective high definition, crystal clear voice, and excellent image quality. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best?

A very nice product created by Nextiva. It has simplified the way that I work from home after the start of this new pandemic. My company used to use different software (Skype) which was a terrible choice but since we have switched to Nextiva everything got better. Many of my colleagues have shared the same option about this product that works pretty well. I wish that we knew about this software before and I hope that my company still continue paying for this service. This product will meet all your needs and go above and beyond what you are expecting. Very nice user interface and support team. I supper recommend. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike?

I pretty much have enjoyed my experience with this product. there is not much I have to say that I dislike. I think that there are always ways to improve the speed and quality of the product but most important I can see that the company is always pushing updates to improve the technology. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

“ADP is an amazing tool for all employees”
What do you like best?

Undoubtedly, ADP is a powerful and valuable tool for all employees at a company. Why ADP is essential software for all enterprises? The answer is plain to see because you start to use it on the first day at your company. The most important features are:

- the simple registration process when you accepted the job offer

- W4, W2 - all tax forms are available online

- "Clock-in" and "Clock-out" buttons for all employees who are working remotely (the feature for your supervisor)

- the information about your benefits in one place

- Payment options online with any additional activities from HR or Accounting Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike?

Indeed, ADP is the best tool in the HR area. However, the Mobile Application is with fewer features than the desktop software. I would like to have in Mobile Application (IOS and Android) the same features. The most important point in the Mobile App is information about your paycheck (taxes, benefits, retirement, other and take home). If ADP developed their App, it will be amazing for all clients. - Benefits & Wellness - all applications online

- Payment option. I can add up to nine banks for my paychecks. I can also split up my salary between banks. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I love the ease and convenience of the product. As a reseller, it makes it easy to have plug and play setup.
