What do you like best about Constant Contact?

Since my employer introduced Constant Contact and I signed up to begin hammering out emails and messages to our AmeriCorps Seniors Volunteers, I never realized how much I needed this software in my business life. I spent hours hand entering email addresses separated by commas into my outbox in outlook, just to find that when people with unique email addresses responded... I had no clue who was sending an inquiry. With the ability to upload files like Excel spreadsheets, I can export directly from our Volunteer Database and upload straight into Constant Contact where it automatically lets me toggle my target audience, select a personalized email message for them, and gets our community volunteer opportunities out to over 200 volunteers with EASE! I love that it tells me how many people (and who) viewed our emails so I know who I need to follow up with. There are some quirks about the platform. For example, I can't make a custom shortened link for different platforms in the same window. I have to do it separately, which ends up defeating the purpose of having an efficient, one-window process for multiple platforms. Occasionally a post won't go through as well due to API issues. What do you like best about ContactPigeon?

We’ve been working with ContactPigeon since 2020, and there are so many things that we can do. What stands out most for us is how effective the pop-ups are, especially this past year, where we’ve seen great performance in orders and revenue. Email campaigns also contribute a solid amount of revenue, and the team has helped us build transactional emails for our beauty consultant service, which streamlined communication with customers. What do you like best about Birdeye?

Birdeye is fairly easy to use and navigate once you’re in the platform and comfortable with all the tools. It offers so many different features, which is a big plus because we don’t need multiple software for different tasks - they’re all available on one website.

One of my favorite features Birdeye offers is review management. It’s really convenient to have auto-replies set up for our Google reviews, so I don’t have to constantly monitor them after hours, on weekends, or on my days off. I also like that if we receive a negative review that doesn’t trigger an auto-reply, Birdeye provides reply suggestions tailored to that specific review. That gives me a solid starting point to craft my own response. Customer support is also very helpful, and they're easy to reach when I have questions or need assistance. What do you dislike about Birdeye?

One of my main pain points with Birdeye is connecting our Instagram account. Our Facebook and Instagram accounts aren’t linked (which is a separate issue outside of Birdeye’s control), so I haven’t been able to integrate Instagram because Birdeye requires an Instagram login through Facebook. I wish there were an option to sign in to Instagram separately, without going through Facebook, so I could manage all of our social media accounts within one piece of software. I realize this is a fairly unique situation, so while it’s a real frustration for me, it’s probably not a problem for most other users. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Birdeye solving and how is that benefiting you?

One of the main problems Birdeye solves for me is review management. It’s especially convenient to have auto-reply rules in place, so reviews still receive timely responses, whether it’s after work hours, on weekends, or during personal time off. Birdeye also notifies me whenever we receive a new review, so if a negative review comes in and needs immediate attention while I’m out of the office, I can see it right away and contact the appropriate personnel to reach out to the member and work toward resolving the situation. This helps us maintain our online reputation. On top of that, I sometimes hit a creative block with social media, and I’m not sure what to post or how to word it, so I’ll refer to the AI post suggestions to spark new ideas.
