What do you like best about Personio?

I like how everything is managed easily and in one place with Personio, so I don't need to move through multiple platforms. It's easy to use with a clean UI, and offers a lot of features without being overwhelming. What do you dislike about Personio?

The evaluation forms in the recruitment modules are formatted weird, and job postings formatting isn't straightforward, requiring CSS code edits for specific fonts. Adding custom variables to documents isn't intuitive initially but eventually makes sense after trial and error. What do you like best about Personio?

I like that the chaos in the files has disappeared, as everything is digital and easy to find. The system reminds you of onboardings, leavers, or visa status. In the recruitment area, I find the simple candidate overview and the ability to easily exchange messages very helpful. I appreciate the forward-looking features and the many possibilities that Personio offers, especially for time tracking, vacation planning, and salary overview and processing. What do you dislike about Personio?

Personio Payroll is really not good and many errors occur. The customer service takes forever to provide only half-helpful answers. Our new accountant can't believe what kind of entries are being posted to the wrong accounts in the background. Additionally, you are rarely informed about updates and errors just keep occurring. What do you like best about Personio?

Personio is a very clear and logically structured tool that noticeably eases the workday. The Premium Support is particularly noteworthy: inquiries are usually answered quickly, competently, and solution-oriented.

I use Personio daily, especially in recruiting, and greatly appreciate the intuitive operation. Both posting job advertisements and processing applications are clearly structured and efficient. Key figures and analyses can be displayed clearly and provide a good basis for well-founded decisions.

What do you dislike about Personio?

Occasionally, there are longer loading times, which can slow down the workflow somewhat, especially on busy days.

What do you like best about Personio?

I like the fact that Personio is always innovating and adding new features. I appreciate that it has different modules that cater to our needs as an organization. It's helpful that they are adapting to anything that is coming and always adding new features to the different products they have. They also send a monthly newsletter of product updates. What do you dislike about Personio?

There are some small things that I believe make it more difficult, like Personio connects with Teams but it doesn't sync national holidays with someone's calendar on Outlook to be out of office, or you can schedule a performance meeting through Personio but it doesn't sync with the calendar to see when different people are available. I don't think the integrations are so great or I haven't explored them that much. The initial setup wasn't hard, but it was a long process. There was support to understand how to set up every module, but in general, there is a lot of 'self-work' to be done. What do you like best about Personio?

I’ve been collaborating with Personio for the past four years, and I have to say it has grown a lot during this period. I really appreciate that Personio has a feedback culture. So far, I feel truly heard, and I can see that Personio values our collaboration.

The system itself is very intuitive for end users. Our team is not very techy, yet they feel quite comfortable using the system. However, on the back end I find Personio very limited. It sometimes feels like the company is building extra add-ons while some basics are still not available in the system (e.g., employee history is not effectively managed in Personio and requires manual work).

During the implementation, we had the support we needed. I feel this was largely due to our excellent CSM, Sanne Fernout, who did extraordinary work. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Personio?

The system itself feels quite limited. It often requires a lot of manual work from the HR team to get things done in Personio, which shouldn’t be the case. For example, when working on a report, we use Reporting in Personio, but we still have to download the data and do some extra work to get the final results we need. I see the same pattern with other products in Personio as well.

Additionally, when it comes to new launches, it seems like Personio delivers an MVP. Before a new product is launched, we get hyped that the issue will be solved, but once it’s released, it’s just the MVP. In many cases, it also seems to affect other products in Personio, which then require workarounds.

Lastly, it feels like Personio keeps building new functions, but I would suggest focusing on getting the HR basics in place first. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I like Personio's interface, which is relatively good and makes it easy to find the needed way for the majority of functions. The support team is also very helpful, and a lot of questions can be easily googled due to the support website with many answers already available. I find Personio to be very easy to navigate and appreciate that it has a lot of functions. It's also pretty reliable, even though there are sometimes server issues. What do you like best about Personio?

I use Personio as an all-in-one solution for our HR work, from the application process to payroll and offboarding. It saves me time because I only have to enter the data once and can then access it in all other processes. I particularly appreciate the pool of various job advertisement providers in the recruiting area, which allows me to create and distribute ads easily. The transfer when hiring to an employee is straightforward and time-saving. Our stored forms can be easily implemented and customized, which really facilitates HR work. Additionally, I find the recording of training sessions, performance reviews, time tracking, and payroll through Payroll-Expert very helpful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Personio?

In the training sessions, I wished for a reminder function that would alert me in time when a renewal of a qualification or instruction is due. I still have to note this separately. It would be more helpful if the entered and soon-to-expire training sessions appeared on the dashboard of the respective management or HR personnel, similar to birthdays or time entries to be approved, in order to organize a new training session for the respective employee in a timely manner. I appreciate that Personio is quite intuitive to set up. Even though the on-boarding from the Personio team was not very helpful, I found it quite easy to walk through and figure out myself. The onboarding of the Personio team was not very helpful, which made me rely more on finding things out myself. The reporting features aren't great as setting up analyses is not easy sometimes; you can only select certain data. Having more export features would be nice.
