What do you like best about Connecteam?

The support and customer service provided when needed are excellent. Like with any new app, it takes some time to get used to, the scheduling feature is brilliant. Our staff really enjoy using the app and chats, and it helps keep everyone organized in one place, so we no longer have to rely on texts, WhatsApp, or emails scattered everywhere. We plan to use the voucher section to offer rewards and incentives to our staff in 2026. Since our business is new and busy, we still have a lot to learn, and I think it will take a few months to fully understand everything the system can do, as it offers so many features. What do you like best about Connecteam?

What I appreciate most is the clear structure and tracking of tasks. Some of the more advanced options can be difficult to find at first, particularly when handling several task categories. Certain features seem tucked away and only become apparent after spending some time navigating the platform. What do you like best about Connecteam?

Connecteam has been a game changer for our business. It has massively improved how we schedule our workers and completely streamlined our payroll process. The time clock feature alone has saved us a significant amount of money; we can now accurately track representatives’ exact hours and ensure shifts are worked in full. This solved a major issue we previously faced when staff were simply invoicing us for their time, which often led to early departures going unnoticed.

A large portion of our workforce is made up of students, and historically this role was quite informal, something they could pick up easily to earn a bit of extra cash. Since implementing Connecteam, however, the entire operation feels far more professional. The structure, visibility, and communication tools have helped our workers feel like they are part of a serious, well-run company rather than just a casual side job. This has had a really positive impact on engagement and accountability.

On top of the product itself, the Connecteam staff have been outstanding. Their support team, along with the AI assistant, made the transition incredibly smooth and stress-free. The onboarding process was clear, efficient, and well supported every step of the way. What do you dislike about Connecteam?

In terms of areas for improvement, we haven’t quite managed to get our reps fully engaged with the in-app group chats yet. They tend to be more responsive on WhatsApp, so we haven’t made as much use of the chat feature as we originally expected. It may simply be a change-management issue on our side rather than a limitation of the platform itself.

Another small improvement would be around payroll setup. It would be extremely helpful if workers could enter their bank details during the sign-up process and have these details automatically appear on the exported payroll PDF. It's infrequent to find a business that considers small businesses the way Connecteam does. It's an amazing system that allows us access to, to run our small teams with features that are helpful to us. What do you dislike about Connecteam?

I do believe there are some limitations for notifications, more flexibility would be awesome. I would love to see more automation capabilities. Again, as a small business, with few hands doing many different roles, this would be super helpful. What do you like best about Connecteam?

I have not used the the total platform for Connecteam to date. Mostly I have used the scheduling part of the program and I have found it easy to use. I can use it with payroll however my co-workers have issues of putting in their time sheets so that is still a work in progress. Shortly I will be assigning tasks that need to be completed to each individual as well. I do like the forms feature where I can put several things into the knowledge base and the employees can look at what has been uploaded as they need to. To date customer support has been great. I normally can't participate in their web meetings, however, they do send me the recordings of what they talked about which I review and find very helpful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Connecteam?

The downside for me is that it has a huge learning curve. With someone who is time limited like myself learning each aspect of the program takes a lot of time. The more I use it the more I remember. Connecteam has been a game-changer for me. What I appreciate the most is how incredibly easy it is to use. What really stands out is the convenience of having full control right from my phone. The ability for our remote, deskless employees to connect and interact as a team, rather than feeling isolated in their partnerships.

We haven't introduced the bigger features (rostering & timesheets) yet, but they are highly anticipated!

What I find most helpful about Connecteam is just how easy it makes everything! Honestly, there isn’t much to dislike about Connecteam, but if I had to mention something, it would be that some of the more advanced features take a little time to fully understand and customise. Once everything is set up, though, it runs beautifully.

It would also be great to see even more flexibility with certain automations and reporting, but the platform is constantly improving, so I’m confident these enhancements will come.
