RedTeam has a simple, easy-to-use interface, so I’m never confused about where to click or how to find what I need. The buyout commitments module is probably the strongest part of the system, especially compared to other tools on the market. We’ve been able to tailor it to our process and make it work really well. The other modules also meet expectations. They get the job done, but there’s still room for improvement. That said, we work closely with their support team. While it can sometimes take a little time to fully resolve an issue, they respond quickly in chat, schedule calls when needed, take our feedback seriously, and keep us updated throughout the process. On pricing, we have a really good deal on the system. Considering how much of our workflow we run through it and the number of jobs we manage, we’ve definitely seen a great ROI. Overall, we enjoy our partnership with RedTeam, and they consistently take feedback into consideration when developing new tools. The system overall saves us many hours each week to manage vendors, contacts, and project documents rather than manually tracking via email and excel. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. What do you dislike about RedTeam Flex? There are many areas of the system that require a lot of clicks to get you to the right place. While it's usually easy to understand, it takes a while to get to where you need to. We also struggle quite often with general performance and our ability to collaborate with external users. For example, our drawing sets are very large and when uploading them, RedTeam will always freeze, take a long time to load, or just not work at all. This can take up a lot of our time and create a breakdown in our process. From the external user perspective, they aren't able to create a login and view items in their court so they have to find all of the emails that we send them. This makes it difficult for them to find items and respond. The system does not currently offer any AI functionality compared to most other products on the market. We would like to see how AI can improve our processes or make it easier so we are hoping this is introduced into the system. We suggest getting ahead of the competition and implementing AI functionality to speed up manual processes like drawing review, or spec extraction. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. What problems is RedTeam Flex solving and how is that benefiting you? RedTeam, although it has a few issues, does a decent job of managing project controls. We can handle RFIs, submittals, drawings, commitments, and other project documents in one place, instead of doing everything manually or relying on Excel. It streamlines where our teams go to find information, and we’re also able to extract the SQL data and push it into our Power BI dashboards—almost like an integration—so we can build useful metrics and track KPIs. What do you dislike about RedTeam Flex? The learning curve can be a little tricky. I miss the chat feature from Support Team - now sometimes getting a response can take 20+ minutes and the staff hasn't been as helpful since before Flex was rolled out. I like that we are able to use the invoicing through redteam and connect it to our quickbooks. It has made paying invoices to contractors a lot easier. One thing that's kind of weird is that if an invoice is committed through redteam, when it transfers over to quickbooks it puts the due date a year later, still not sure why that happens. I like that for the most part RedTeam is a user friendly system. There aren't a ton of extras that are unecessary fluff. It is straight forward and does the job. The package allows you to keep jobs very organized. It is very customizable. User interface (colors and layout) for the most part are very user friendly. Response time is so bad that sometimes you feel like maybe you forgot to click. Change orders need to use the import capability that estimates use. RedTeam is a comprehensive, user-friendly construction software platform that provides all of the necessary tools that general contractors need to successfully manage their business, such as workflow management, collaboration features, financial management, reporting and analytics solutions. Developed and battle-tested by a commercial general contractor, the platform is contract concentric with a seamless implementation process to get customers up and running quickly. The customer service quick chat feature is a key value-add to highlight on the platform, as this allows customers to receive timely answers to their questions and find solutions efficiently.
