## About QuickBooks Time
QuickBooks Time (formerly TSheets) is an employee time tracking and scheduling solution that saves business owners time and money. Get rid of that old punch clock or spreadsheet and simplify payroll, invoicing, and job costing. Whether they’re in the office or on the road, your team can track time from any location—using a smartphone, tablet, desktop or laptop—in real time. Plus, QuickBooks Time is the only time tracking system embedded inside QuickBooks. You can review and approve employee time cards to run payroll, do job costing, or create invoices—without ever leaving QuickBooks! Accurate time for client invoicing and painless payroll With accurate employee hours from QuickBooks Time, you're always ready to run payroll—no need to enter time data manually! Track billable time against customers, projects or jobs, classes, and service items. Then use those accurate hours for better job costing estimates and faster invoicing. GPS time tracking and timesheet compliance QuickBooks Time is more than just a time tracker. It keeps a record of each time a worker clocks in, changes jobs, and clocks out. And as long as workers are on the clock, managers and admins can see where they’re working and who’s closest to the next job site. The time card audit log can help your business resolve labor disputes and comply with labor laws. Manual time clocks and paper timesheets can’t do that. Revolutionary employee scheduling software Recording your employees’ schedules on spreadsheets and whiteboards is costing more than you think. Build and share employee schedules faster than ever, using the QuickBooks Time mobile app or web dashboard. Managers can assign workers to jobs or shifts to keep the workforce in sync. And the best part: It's QuickBooks Time, so time tracking and scheduling work in perfect harmony. Set alerts to notify workers when you post a new shift, or they forget to clock in or out. “This is an amazing solution. I'd be paying the same amount for scheduling alone and very limited time tracking if I chose any other product.” —Andrew, owner of Terra Dura Landscaping. Mobile time tracking with GPS and geofencing Get ready for increased accountability and transparency with QuickBooks Time Geofencing. When an employee using the QuickBooks Time mobile app enters or leaves a job site, the app will notify them to clock in or out. QuickBooks Time captures clock-in and clock-out times when the employee enters and exits the pre-set geofence. That means fewer timesheet edits and more accurate payroll. Real-time project tracking Take the guesswork out of project estimates with QuickBooks Time Projects. Projects is real-time labor tracking, built for project managers. Estimate projects upfront, then track and adjust as you go. See estimated versus actual hours worked to know where and how workers spend time on each project. Keep an eye on the status of each of your projects. Customer support that lives up to the hype Get free, unlimited support by phone or online chat. QuickBooks Time has the best customer support in the industry—not to mention, lightning-fast response times. We’ll answer your questions, help you set up your account, and more. “I was skeptical of the hype about the customer service at TSheets. But I am happy to confirm that the hype is legitimate and earned.” —TeamWow on Apps.com

## QuickBooks Time Reviews
 ### 1. Time Management with Strong Scheduling and Reporting

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Emma B. | Bookkeeper, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 14, 2026

**What do you like best about QuickBooks Time?**

I like that it offers a lot of features that can be used to manage employee time in a variety of ways. The scheduling capabilities are strong, and the reporting tools are also very good.

**What do you dislike about QuickBooks Time?**

I dislike that, when I’m building the schedule, I have to select each employee individually instead of being able to add a group. I also dislike that contractors now automatically sync as users to Time when you track 1099 payments in QuickBooks.

**What problems is QuickBooks Time solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Last year we looked at a much more expensive software that had many of the features we wanted. After taking another look at Time, we realized we could replicate those same features using what’s already in Time. So far it’s been great for tracking all of our field paperwork and time.

 ### 2. All-in-One Time Tracking, Payroll Sync, and Real-Time GPS Monitoring

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Merlyn M. | Intake Specialist, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 07, 2026

**What do you like best about QuickBooks Time?**

What stands out most about QuickBooks Time is how seamlessly it connects time tracking with payroll and accounting, eliminating duplicate work and reducing errors. It offers accurate, real-time tracking with GPS support, a strong mobile app for teams on the go, and useful reporting for labor costs and productivity. On top of that, it’s generally easy to use and includes scheduling and PTO tools, making it a solid all-in-one solution for managing employees and projects efficiently.

**What do you dislike about QuickBooks Time?**

The main downsides people point out about QuickBooks Time tend to revolve around cost, flexibility, and some technical frustrations. It’s often considered expensive, especially since you may need both a QuickBooks subscription and per-user fees. Users also mention limited customization, meaning it doesn’t always adapt well to unique workflows. On the technical side, there can be bugs, mobile app glitches, and occasional clock-in issues, which can disrupt tracking. Customer support gets mixed reviews, with some reporting slow or unhelpful responses. Finally, compared to newer tools, parts of the interface can feel a bit outdated or lacking advanced features, especially for larger or more complex teams.

**What problems is QuickBooks Time solving and how is that benefiting you?**

QuickBooks Time solves the headaches of manual time tracking by automating timesheets, reducing payroll errors, and syncing everything directly with accounting. It also gives real-time visibility into employee activity, especially for remote or field teams, while cutting down on admin work like fixing timesheets or reconciling hours. The result is a system that saves time, improves accuracy, and makes managing labor and costs much simpler.

 ### 3. QuickBooks Makes Sending Everything Out a One-Click Breeze

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Becky F. | Customer Service Representative, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 30, 2026

**What do you like best about QuickBooks Time?**

What I like best about QuickBooks is the ability to just do what you need to do and send out everything with the click of a button. It's one of the most affordable time management apps out there.

**What do you dislike about QuickBooks Time?**

What I dislike about QB is that sometimes it glitches and you have to reset everything and start over.

**What problems is QuickBooks Time solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The main problem that QB is solving for me is being able to make several schedules at once and then being able to send them all out to every employee with ease.

 ### 4. User-Friendly Time Tracking with Real-Time Visibility

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Becca G. | Staff Support, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 13, 2026

**What do you like best about QuickBooks Time?**

What I like best about QuickBooks Time is how user-friendly it is. It makes tracking hours simple and quick, especially with the mobile app. I also like how easy it is to see time entries in real time, which helps with accuracy and keeps everything organized without feeling complicated.

**What do you dislike about QuickBooks Time?**

I can't say that there is anything I dislike about it. We just recently started to use it, so our organization is still working on getting our handle on stuff.

**What problems is QuickBooks Time solving and how is that benefiting you?**

QuickBooks Time solves the problem of tracking hours accurately and efficiently, especially when schedules or locations vary. It eliminates the need for manual timekeeping and reduces errors by keeping everything in one place. This benefits me by saving time, improving accuracy, and making it easier to submit and review hours without confusion or extra steps.

 ### 5. Easy Time-Off Management but Needs Better Payroll Automation

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Rolies K. | Owner, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 29, 2026

**What do you like best about QuickBooks Time?**

I really liked that QuickBooks Time made it easy for employees to request time off online, and for us to approve or decline it. This process was straightforward, and once we approved a request, it would automatically pop into QuickBooks Time. It helped ensure we never forgot about an employee's time off, as it was clearly marked as approved or denied. It also recorded how many times employees took off, making it easy to check if someone was over or under the limit. Additionally, the setup was very easy since we were already using QuickBooks Online, so transferring all employees and syncing everything was a breeze.

**What do you dislike about QuickBooks Time?**

I don't like that QuickBooks Time does not automatically tally up the hours from a specific pay period, so we had to enter the daily amount of hours into a program when payroll hit and then add it up to actually pay the employees.

**What problems is QuickBooks Time solving and how is that benefiting you?**

QuickBooks Time made it easy for employees to request time off and for us to approve, preventing forgetfulness and tracking time off limits easily.

 ### 6. Great Client Time Tracking, but Needs Pausing and Easier Switching Between Clients

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Amy C. | CPA, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 07, 2026

**What do you like best about QuickBooks Time?**

the time feature to have it track while working on a specific client.

**What do you dislike about QuickBooks Time?**

that you cannot pause the time for a specific client but stay on the clock for a colleague question or create another time entry when another client calls and you are disrupted

**What problems is QuickBooks Time solving and how is that benefiting you?**

more accuracy for time tracking for my employees

 ### 7. Pretty User-Friendly and Helpful for Our Industry

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed Date:** April 21, 2026

**What do you like best about QuickBooks Time?**

**What do you dislike about QuickBooks Time?**

I wish there were more settings to avoid people staying clocked in for a long period if they forget to clock out.

**What problems is QuickBooks Time solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Got rid of paper time sheets, so payroll is so much easier.

 ### 8. Solid Time Tracking with Minor Compatibility Issues

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Diana O. | Accounts receivable, HR, manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 13, 2025

**What do you like best about QuickBooks Time?**

I really appreciate QuickBooks Time for its efficiency in tracking employees' absences and time ins. This feature is incredibly beneficial for keeping accurate records and simplifies the process when payroll is processed, ensuring that everything is easy to record and verify. The system provides a straightforward way to manage and organize employee time-related data, which helps in streamlining operations. Additionally, I find the initial setup to be pretty easy, making the software accessible and user-friendly from the start.

**What do you dislike about QuickBooks Time?**

I find that QuickBooks Time sometimes has issues with clocking in and out because it isn't always compatible with the physical terminal. Additionally, the system occasionally calculates incorrect accruals for PTO and sick days. It seems unable to manage different accrual rules concurrently, which leads to inaccuracies, especially around employee anniversaries.

**What problems is QuickBooks Time solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use QuickBooks Time for tracking employee absences and time entries, streamlining payroll verification. However, it faces issues with clock ins/outs compatibility and PTO accrual inaccuracies.

In Quickbooks, the time entries feature is a great way to review and manage completed timesheets. Users have multiple parts to plan and schedule their time, such as Projects, Reports and Schedules. ### 29. Useful for integration options but missing features

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Accounting | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 27, 2023

**What do you like best about QuickBooks Time?**

Love that QB Time integrates with our practice management software and QBO. That being said there are some missing features which may be more impactful for those tracking time to specifc jobs.Bugs can also arise from time to time which are difficult to navigate.

**What do you dislike about QuickBooks Time?**

I don't like that jobs cannot be archived in quickbooks time. We then have to scroll through years of old work items to track time. Would like more dependant tasks for work items and more advanced reporting options too. Support channels could use some improvement.

**What problems is QuickBooks Time solving and how is that benefiting you?**

QuickBooks time allows us to track time for remote employees. QuickBooks time also allows us to monitor budgets and bill clients appropriately - allowing for full transparency across the team.

**What do you like best about QuickBooks Time?**

QB Time is a relatively robust time-tracking system that we integrate with QuickBooks. I like the flexibility to create specific jobs/projects and can assign groups of employees to that project. Using job codes, you can break up the work into tasks and subtasks. We've broken some work into three layers: Projects, Tasks, and SubTasks. If you run multiple projects as we do at a construction firm, you can easily filter reports to narrow down what you what to look at. Additionally, you can export this data as a CSV and run different analyses for job costing and estimating future similar jobs.

**What do you dislike about QuickBooks Time?**

Some employees may work on two or more projects in a given day or pay period, and the Group field in the user profile will carry over and show only one project name. We ignore that and rely on job code1 for that information. But if you click on the Who's working Link on the left-hand side of the portal. It may not correctly reflect the actual group/area that a person is working on at that instant.

**What problems is QuickBooks Time solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It tracks the time in the cloud, so multiple people in our organization have visibility into the data and can self provision and not have to ask one source to track the information down for them.

 ### 31. Wonderful Time tracking tool

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sasank G. | Mendix Developer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 11, 2023

**What do you like best about QuickBooks Time?**

It is easy to record our daily work on time with tasks defined by our organization admins.
This Platform even offers the flexibility to save and submit later if necessary modifications are needed.

**What do you dislike about QuickBooks Time?**

The only thing to dislike is that once the submitted time is locked, we need to request the hierarchy physically or in some other way. It would be great if there were a way to communicate within the platform itself.

**What problems is QuickBooks Time solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It simplifies the time recording for the work hours by having a record daily of what employees worked on and for what amount of time they mainly worked on, which helps payroll move smoothly.

 ### 32. T-Sheets & Employment Hero Connection

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Angelina T. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 04, 2023

**What do you like best about QuickBooks Time?**

Can log internal and external staff, allowing those within our workplace, working out in the field to clock on and off remotely.

**What do you dislike about QuickBooks Time?**

The minimum interval is 15 minutes, requiring individuals to clock out 6 minutes later than their finish times to 'equate' to the correct working hours.
Clock in: 8AM (Can do this any time between 7:52 am and 8:05am)
Clock out: 4:06PM (to ensure total 8 hours are worked) = 40 hour week.

**What problems is QuickBooks Time solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The interval clocking. This can cause issues with employees' time, often totaling their work weeks to 37.75 not 38.

 ### 33. Does what it needs to

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Erica L. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 19, 2023

**What do you like best about QuickBooks Time?**

It's very intuitive, you can start using it with minimal prior experience. And it allows you to quickly enter your time and run reports.

**What do you dislike about QuickBooks Time?**

I still haven't figured out how to sign into it directly without going through quickbooks online.

**What problems is QuickBooks Time solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It allows contractors to more easily submit their time by project and links the time directly to our bookkeeping software for invoicing purposes.

 ### 34. Excellent for Tracking Employees Time on Jobs

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jennifer C. | General Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 18, 2023

**What do you like best about QuickBooks Time?**

How easy it is for my field technicians to sign in and out on their various jobs throughout the day. This allows me to track their time on different jobs.

**What do you dislike about QuickBooks Time?**

Sometimes for no reason it will clock them out or clock them back in when they are not working.

**What problems is QuickBooks Time solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It makes sure that my technician's time is tracked and allows me to see profits on our various jobs.

 ### 35. It helps us get paid

**What do you like best about QuickBooks Time?**

Able to transfer from agendrix directly to quickbooks

**What do you dislike about QuickBooks Time?**

It's separate from agendrix, would ne easier if it was one system

**What problems is QuickBooks Time solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It's better than ADP

 ### 36. The Best Thing To Happen To The Construction Employer In This Century

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Gennyfer C. | Investor/Developer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 11, 2022

**What do you like best about QuickBooks Time?**

It is so simple to accurately manage our employees' time, both in the field and in the office. It lets us know the employee's location at the time they clock in, so no more attempts to get paid for time they were not actually on the job site. It also forces an accurate measure for job cost tracking because employees are not guessing at what time they switched from one location to the next. They simply open the app, press "switch" and select the job site they are moving to. And if they forget to record the switch, the GPS tracking shows me where they were throughout the day, so I can easily make corrections to their time. This is so much more efficient than the handwritten time sheets we once used. There are even places where they can leave notes and indicate that they are due mileage pay for the day. QuickBooks Time has simplified my payroll process drastically. Not to mention top-notch customer service. We have been using the program for about three years now and are still extremely satisfied.

**What do you dislike about QuickBooks Time?**

There really is no downside that I can think of. The one thing that I would like to see happen is to have the program actually calculate the mileage from one job site to the next when the employee indicates that they are due mileage pay. With the integrated GPS, I feel certain that could be done.

**What problems is QuickBooks Time solving and how is that benefiting you?**

When we used handwritten time sheets, the field employees would often forget to log their time until the end of the day or even end of the week when it was time to submit their time sheets. Then, they would submit timesheets based on a lot of guess work, and I did not have much confidence in the accuracy of the payrolls or the actual job costing. Since we implemented the use of the QuickBooks Time software, we no longer have those issues with accuracy. We also would sometimes have employees write down that they arrived at a job site earlier than they actually arrived or that they left the job site later than they actually left. With the integrated GPS tracking, that is no longer a concern.

 ### 37. Easy employee time tracking

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mark H. | Estimator/PM, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 06, 2023

**What do you like best about QuickBooks Time?**

QuickBooks Time is very intuitive and easy to use. No matter where you are you can open the app and clock in and keep accurate time.

**What do you dislike about QuickBooks Time?**

There isn't anything that I dislike about the software. Everything works fine, no complaints.

**What problems is QuickBooks Time solving and how is that benefiting you?**

QuickBooks Time helps maintain employee timesheets and provides employee tracking to ensure everyone is clocking in at their job sites, on time and working throughout the day.

 ### 38. Keeping Track

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Karla H. | Finishing Coordinator, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 16, 2022

**What do you like best about QuickBooks Time?**

I like how easy it is to use, I dont feel like I have to report directly to someone since I keep track of my own time. Also love the mobile app since it can be hard to find a computer every time you swap tasks.

**What do you dislike about QuickBooks Time?**

I wish that you could scan something to change the job you are working on instead of having to punch in all the information

**What problems is QuickBooks Time solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Gets rid of the old school punch card system, it was a real bottleneck

 ### 39. It takes a while to deploy

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Construction | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 23, 2023

**What do you like best about QuickBooks Time?**

I think it was very convenient and easy to use. I'm not sure what was the issue that made us switch to sage but even visually QuickBooks just looks better and more modern.

**What do you dislike about QuickBooks Time?**

I found no downsides about. But i didn't use it as much as other software

**What problems is QuickBooks Time solving and how is that benefiting you?**

we still use to keep track of hour working hours and time off and that sort of thing and it still works really good wor us.

 ### 40. QuickBooks Time Review

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kelly D. | Cost/Operations Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 29, 2022

**What do you like best about QuickBooks Time?**

That all of our timekeeping needs are in one app/program. I can quickly view who is working and make changes or updates if needed. The ease of use for the employees is excellent too.

**What do you dislike about QuickBooks Time?**

It would be help to have more grouping options for our needs.I also don't like that only the admin can do updates, it would be nice to have granting permission options.

**What problems is QuickBooks Time solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It has decreased the our employees choosing the wrong projects that they are working on.

 ### 41. QB has been very helpful in many different aspects of our business, from accounting to timekeeping.

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Charles L. | Staff Accountant, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 26, 2022

**What do you like best about QuickBooks Time?**

Quickbooks helps our business stay organized throughout multiple departments. They are good at keeping electronic files organized and easy to find when needed.

**What do you dislike about QuickBooks Time?**

The different QB programs have their own glitches and don't necessarily work when you have multiple versions open at the same time on Windows or Mac.

**What problems is QuickBooks Time solving and how is that benefiting you?**

QB Time has been our employee timekeeping system for the last four years and has worked great in helping us stay organized and receive payroll records when needed.

 ### 42. The time app went downhill when all the new features were rolled out.

**Rating:** 0.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Construction | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 27, 2022

**What do you like best about QuickBooks Time?**

The app was easy to use and the reports were the best around.

**What do you dislike about QuickBooks Time?**

That my employees couldn't clock in for one reason or the next and then as the administrator I couldn't help them get logged back in due to not being able to access their personal information. I was the administrator that put in all their personal information in the beginning but then was no longer allowed to help them after. If they needed to call in for assistance I either had to call in and figure out all the steps they needed to do beforehand and then pass that information along or I had to sit on the phone with them and walk them through the process. This would keep my employees from being able to work. There were also times that I as the administrator could not log in and was unable to do my job as well.

**What problems is QuickBooks Time solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I do not know since we switched to a new program.

 ### 43. QuickBooks Time works well until it doesn't.

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jillian O. | Executive Director, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 03, 2022

**What do you like best about QuickBooks Time?**

The ability to add notes when you clock in to easily track projects.

**What do you dislike about QuickBooks Time?**

It was extremely difficult to get the PTO function to work properly. There was only one-way communication.

**What problems is QuickBooks Time solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We ended up switching platforms because of the difficulty with calculating PTO after running payroll.

 ### 44. Great tool for project tracking and payroll integration

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Melissa N. | CEO - Consultant, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 28, 2022

**What do you like best about QuickBooks Time?**

Its integration with Quickbooks payroll and ability to run time per project

**What do you dislike about QuickBooks Time?**

Cost - Sometimes a little difficult to run reports

**What problems is QuickBooks Time solving and how is that benefiting you?**

My team can record their time based on which project they are working, so i can charge clients approrpiately

 ### 45. Switched to Clockshark from QB Time

**Rating:** 0.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kacey M. | Office Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 15, 2022

**What do you like best about QuickBooks Time?**

I like the features such as GPS tracking, being able to edit times while employees are still on the clock, and the ability to track hours for each job. I ended up making the switch to a new program.

**What do you dislike about QuickBooks Time?**

A lot of the time my employees would tell me that they clocked in and it wouldn't show up on the back end. The same thing with jobs, the jobs wouldn't be available to the employees even though I had added them in on desktop.

**What problems is QuickBooks Time solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Employee time tracking, ensuring that employees were not clocking in before they arrived at the job site, the ability to accurately job cost and understand profit margins.

 ### 46. Alison Brod Marketing and Communications

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sarah R. | Director , Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 20, 2022

**What do you like best about QuickBooks Time?**

All of your employees' hours are easily tracked using this tool. There are features in this program that allow you to see how much time an employee spends at each job site, as well as their time stamps and departure locations. Because the employee can't check in from any other place, this saves you money and time. A wide variety of mobile devices are compatible with the app's distribution and use.

**What do you dislike about QuickBooks Time?**

The gps position isn't always correct. Also, the app's functionality might be a little perplexing at times. Additionally, it is dependent on an active internet connection to function.

**Recommendations to others considering QuickBooks Time:**

In the search for time management and project management software, seek for tools that are simple to use and don't need lengthy tutorials. We've never had a single app crash while using it on the go. The fact that it's on this list indicates a good deal about your time management.

**What problems is QuickBooks Time solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Overall, it's a wonderful software for keeping tabs on your employees' timesheets. A significant amount of money may be saved, as well as an overall reduction in administrative burden. It's also a breeze to keep track of things because everything is recorded online and accessible from any computer or smartphone.

 ### 47. More comprehensive reporting

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Taylor F. | Public Relations Account Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 28, 2021

**What do you like best about QuickBooks Time?**

Quickbooks is an easy way to automate accounting. Our team is small and often busy, Quickbooks is great for small businesses looking to keep track of hours, clients billing and reporting. It's easy to use, effective and adds value!

**What do you dislike about QuickBooks Time?**

Only downside is you can not be actively working on/tracking time for 2 projects at once. At times, I will be working on tasks for 2 clients simultaneously or 2 tasks for one client, but it will only allow you to be on the clock for one tasks at any given time.

**What problems is QuickBooks Time solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Quickbooks easily allows our agency to see how many hours we are investing in any one client. It helps us to prioritize tasks for the month, given the hours available for projects within our retainers. If we are over hours, this tool helps us to renegotiate monthly fees. We can easy track hours at the end of each month for reporting and billing.

 ### 48. Not my favorite

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sarah S. | Administrator, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 16, 2022

**What do you like best about QuickBooks Time?**

I liked that I could require employees location to be on and that it linked to my qb for the accountant.

**What do you dislike about QuickBooks Time?**

It is kind of glitchy, doesn't have many features, and editing clock ins could be simplified.

**What problems is QuickBooks Time solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It doesn't solve any problems. If you're looking for extra features- this is not the one. It's just basic clock in and reports.

 ### 49. Intuit has destroyed a great product

**Rating:** 0.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sarah D. | CPA, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 03, 2021

**What do you like best about QuickBooks Time?**

We used to like this software when it was T-Sheets. There's very little to recommend it over other timesheet software now. It does allow a kiosk login using a tablet at a worksite, so I guess that's something.

**What do you dislike about QuickBooks Time?**

The support is awful and the integration with Quickbooks has become a mess. It now requires that users log into a Quickbooks account, which is not ideal. Efforts to actually connect it to the correct Quickbooks account will result in huge frustration. We were using T-Sheets for our firm and it was not connected to Quickbooks. When Intuit acquired it, they forced an integration that ended up importing 500 duplicate clients into our QB Time. They had no way to stop it or undo it. Since we're accountants, each user had their own QBOA account and this forced a new QBTime for each and every account. At one point, QBTime had created 3 additional accounts for us and was forcing our employees to log into them. Simple things like subscribing, canceling, wholesaling, administrating has become a total nightmare. As an accountant, I will not be supporting this software in the future. When my clients try to do anything with it, they get a message telling them to contact their accountant. When I try to do anything, I'm told I'm not the Master Administrator. To do a simple thing like connect an existing QBTime to a new QBO account, I have had to contact support no fewer than 5 times and it's still not fixed. Each support chat is at least an hour. At the end of it, they will come up with some new reason why they weren't successful. The answer will be different every time. There is no consistency in the support agents' knowledge or answers. When this was T-Sheets, I had a total of one support contact and it was successful. Since it was acquired, I have had 12-15 support contacts and most of them have been unsuccessful and a waste of time.

**Recommendations to others considering QuickBooks Time:**

I recommend you look at other products and see if they fit your needs.

**What problems is QuickBooks Time solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Quickbooks Time causes nothing but problems.

 ### 50. QBO Time is lacking

**Rating:** 1.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Accounting | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 28, 2022

**What do you like best about QuickBooks Time?**

Phone app and desktop app are easy to use

**What do you dislike about QuickBooks Time?**

There is no way to remove work completed in Karbon in the list in QBO Time, so you are stuck with every single work created in Karbon even it if is completed.

**What problems is QuickBooks Time solving and how is that benefiting you?**

No manual timesheets are require anymore as it is all online, with the Karbon integration to captures what I am working on.
