They may not have updated their review text, but have updated their review. **What do you like best about ASTROPAY?** In my case, I mainly use AstroPay to receive my salary, and what I find useful is being able to actually see when the money hits without having to wait on a bank notification. I usually check the app directly to confirm the payment and review the exact amount, which helps avoid confusion. I also use the CLABE transfer option regularly to move money to my local bank account. It’s not the most flexible system, but once you have your details set up, it’s straightforward to send funds out. Having the transaction history in one place is also helpful when I need to double-check past payments. **What do you dislike about ASTROPAY?** The biggest issue for me is that transfers can take longer than expected. There have been times where I’m waiting on my salary and it just doesn’t arrive as quickly as I would expect, which makes it hard to rely on timing. Another thing is the digital card. I’ve had situations in physical stores where the payment doesn’t go through on the first try, so I have to attempt it again, which is uncomfortable when you’re at the checkout. Also, when doing local transfers, some bank names don’t always show correctly, which makes you double-check everything before sending money. On top of that, only being able to use CLABE for transfers feels limiting. **What problems is ASTROPAY solving and how is that benefiting you?** It solves the basic need of receiving payments without depending entirely on a traditional bank, especially for international payments. At least I have one place where the money arrives and I can verify it directly. For me, the main benefit is visibility. Even if the speed isn’t always great, I can still track my payments and know what’s going on without chasing updates elsewhere. ### 2. Traditional banking options can be slow, expensive, or unavailable for certain countries, but AstroPay makes it simple. I use the app to receive my payments from platforms like Deep, and then transfer the funds into my local currency. They don't provide any ETA at all. They simply say that someone is handling the problem. One can easily play along money in different countries, especially in USD. **What do you dislike about ASTROPAY?** The options to transfer money come for only specific round figures, but they should have made it possible to move even 1 USD or less for US residents. Likewise, each country's smallest denomination should be available to convert them into USD with instantaneous Forex rates. **What problems is ASTROPAY solving and how is that benefiting you?** Like most of us, I used PayPal as an international payment gateway, but when I had to send some bucks to the US, there wasn't a way to send it directly in USD. That was the problem Astropay solved very quickly, and I'd been able to send bucks to the concerned person. ### 7. It's a good thing that Astropay is expanding and it is available at many merchant websites. Easy and instant transfers. **What do you dislike about ASTROPAY?** UPI and paytm payment modes are not available most of the times. Would be great if they introduce UPI transfers to others and to merchant sites. They need to upgrade to current payment systems. **What problems is ASTROPAY solving and how is that benefiting you?** I use Astropay to make payments at international merchant sites.
