"Outstanding Support and Community, Just Missing Some B2B Features"
What do you like best about Circle?

The tools offered continue to grow and meet the needs of a member-based community. The Circle team is the most amazing part! They are online and interacting with community builders and help us learn and grow. And the community builders are also an incredible source of information and inspiration. There are at least a couple dozen who respond to requests and add information that makes Circle easier to use.

I migrated my community from another platform and found their set up and implementation easy to follow. The Circle Academy has resources that walk you through every aspect to get started from scratch. And when you run into bumps, their email-based customer service team is awesome. I had a few issues around my email server set up and they responded quickly and accurately. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Circle?

As they continue to develop the system, it lacks a few features that would be helpful such as:

- Group billing to offer more B2B type services beyond the typical B2C

- Updates to workflows, such as turning standard workflows into one-time bulk updates (rather than having to recreate them) and more triggers in the workflows to allow more nuanced types of processes

- Small things like being able to reuse uploaded media in posts and courses rather than having to upload it again (adding to storage), ability to manage your bookmarks better, adding forms that go beyond standard name/email Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Dynamic Community Management with Stellar Integration"
What do you like best about Circle?

I really appreciate Circle for its aesthetic appeal and functionality, particularly the directory, which is visually pleasing and user-driven. Circle simplifies our workflow with its ease of use and the ability to communicate effectively within the platform. Its APIs, even through third-party tools like Zapier, facilitate seamless integration with other tools we rely on, such as Eventbrite and Square. I love the flexibility it offers to brand cover images, which allows us to refresh the look of the community space effortlessly and recognize sponsors prominently. I'm excited about the potential for Circle to enhance member engagement and retention, increase member lifetime value and provide sponsors with greater visibility and meaningful connections with our audience. Overall, these features significantly contribute to the attractiveness and utility of Circle for our community management needs. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Circle?

I want Circle to offer a direct connection with Square, as it's a major sponsor for us. It would be a bonus if it could support other popular payment forms like CashApp, PayPal, and Venmo. Additionally, I feel that a more economical branded package, like a branded app, would be fantastic. I'd also appreciate a dedicated API for Eventbrite. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Transforming Traditional Community Spaces"
What do you like best about Circle?

Circle has quickly transformed the role of a Community Lead in ways I hadn't seen before. After spending several years evaluating various community platforms, I became familiar with the landscape, yet I haven't come across anything as comprehensive or feature-rich as Circle, especially at this price point. What do you dislike about Circle?

So far I love everything I am seeing. It's hard to find anything negative at this point. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Empowers Community Engagement with Ease"
What do you like best about Circle?

I really appreciate how Circle provides a platform that enhances interaction among members, facilitating the sharing of materials and knowledge, and that it's all very user-friendly. What I love most is that Circle combines various essential community features all in one place, including event creation, email marketing, and member visibility, which significantly streamlines my workflow. Producing emails and segmenting lists directly within Circle without needing other software is incredibly efficient and reduces the administrative burden. This shift from using multiple platforms to leveraging Circle's comprehensive capabilities saves me a substantial amount of time and effort, as I no longer need to juggle between different tools like HubSpot, Thinkific, and Zapier. I also find it highly beneficial that Circle integrates elements like membership management, paywall handling, chat, and gamification, all within a single platform, which enhances community engagement and vibrancy. Initially, I was unsure about continuing with my community, but setting up Circle was so straightforward and intuitive that it rejuvenated my vision for cultivating an engaging and dynamic community, refocusing my efforts on creating what I now see as a thriving hub for learning and interaction. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Circle?

I'm looking for features such as managing team memberships with multi-user bundles for B2B engagement, creating virtual conferences, and issuing course-completion certificates. These capabilities are critical for supporting organizational engagement and learning within the community. Although Circle centralizes many tasks and reduces the need to use multiple platforms, the absence of these specific features means I can't fully exploit its potential to drive community engagement and educational outcomes. Yet. Circle is really transparent with feature requests and roadmaps, so I'm pretty confident these things will come, in time, or people will come up with really excellent workarounds. "Build community as your main growth engine"
What do you like best about Circle?

The team is super available and receptive to feedback in the community. There is a real user-centric vibe there and I can often find support from peers if Circle doesn't have the answer.

Circle is a great all-in-one platform for hosting your community AND marketing stack!

It is also the prettiest community platform out there imo! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Circle?

Every time I speak to Circle support they assume I'm the lowest common denominator and assume I've got a silly problem and suggest incorrect solutions before they actually listen to the issue.

It takes days to get someone who's paid attention to all the context I've given enough to respect that I'm reporting a serious issue. This is a big problem because if I do have a REAL big issue it is the LAST solution they always think of - so I think they are bad at triaging the most important issues and getting them solved first.

They optimise for the easiest solution where the user was being silly or didn't understand the product. Rather than first assuming there is a real issue with the product.

This feels so backwards to me that I dread reaching out every time I've got a big issue that I know will only get solved if I prove I'm actually experiencing an issue.

Understand the issue THEN make sure to suggest a relevant solution. Don't just give me AI-generated solutions when you don't even understand my problem. I can also read the Knowledge Bank for that - I'm reaching out to support because I haven't been able to self-serve. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Why didn't we join Circle SOONER?!?!"
What do you like best about Circle?

We have managed an online community for a number of years, however only because we duct-taped 4 different platforms together. We hosted live calls on Zoom, used Add Event to share calendars, Slack was our online forum and we used our website to save replays and course access.

As we grew we decided to FINALLY take the leap over to Circle and invest the time to migrate a DECADE of online courses and material to a new platform. A lot of work but incredibly worth it. Having only ONE PLACE for all of our community to connect and access their information is a no brainer.

We love how customizable and fun Circle is. They are constantly growing and improving features. However my favorite part is the training for Community Managers. The build-in Circle Community you have access to as an account owner is how we were able to learn how to get started, connect with other communities and share ideas.

So thankful! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Circle?

To be honest the one thing I can think of is the feature request to be able to schedule messages in a Live Chat space has yet to be fulfilled. We miss Slack's ability to schedule messages or even have "Slack Bot" check ins in the chat.

We know we can schedule posts in a post style space, however having Chat reminders (with the @everyone tag) and daily, weekly check ins would be AMAZING.

Also would love to see a feature like Mighty Network's "near me" to encourage members to connect! Right now I think that's only something us admin can coordinate? Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Circle Has Changed Our Business and Our Lives"
What do you like best about Circle?

Circle is easy to use for both us and our community members. Any technical questions we've had have been answered promptly by Circle's support and our members have had very few complaints or questions about usability. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Circle?

In 2023, a friend and business coach suggested that we start an online community for our growing sisterhood of women supporting women. We thought this would take unlimited time and financial resources beyond our scope. But Circle made it easy, cost effective and time efficient. We were up and running within a week. The customer support has been beyond compare and our members find the platform easy to use — as do we.

The result of all of this is The Passionistas Project Sisterhood — a place where women can come to be heard, feel less alone and get resources for business development, personal growth and social impact. We are now a global community of women who have fostered business collaborations, cheered each other on, lifted each other up and built true connection. We never thought this would be possible on a virtual platform but thanks to Circle, we've made our dreams, and the dreams of countless women around the world, come true. "Circle is the Perfect Platform For My Business"
What do you like best about Circle?

When considering which platform to use for the courses for my business, and wanting it to include a community aspect, Circle was hands down the best option. The ease of use, integration and implementation are seamless, and I'm using it every day with no issues whatsoever. Huge fan. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Circle?

Honestly, Circle does an excellent job of providing super easy to understand support online, and if I ever need any more, there is always someone available to me if I have more questions. I haven't had an issue with Circle yet. At first I thought it might be a little pricey, but the amount of features I receive makes it completely worth it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"One of the best community building apps out there."
What do you like best about Circle?

I’ve worked with a lot of community platforms, but Circle continues to stand out as one of the most progressive and responsive out there.

They truly listen to their users. Whether it's through feature requests, feedback loops, or creator support, Circle keeps evolving based on real needs, not just trends.

As someone who builds and supports communities every day, that kind of intentional product development makes a huge difference.

Grateful to be part of a platform that puts creators and community builders first. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Circle?

I don't have anything bad to say. It's all good. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"I really like it but.."
What do you like best about Circle?

Have a one hub for all products, everything in one place is a great tool so the community would complement the courses.

Events interface is premium really in design and functionality with all the reminders and their customization. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Circle?

Checkout experience is not customizable.

There is no sneak-peek feature in the courses and they have little customization regarding access to course sections and lessons.

Also if a member returns to a drip course after their payment has failed, they would need to go through the whole course allover again, instead of continuing from where they left off.

Little to no customization for the lock screens of courses.

The live experience is very buggy and cuts off. Even circle team don't hold their big events on Circle live, and their lunch and learns cut off because of the buggy Circle Live feature.

Also in Circle live, I cannot create a permenant room that a certain group of members can hop on at any time.

Very little customization capabilities for the platform branding and style, especially with Arabic fonts and RTL orientation.

Lack of funnels that would help members upgrade from a tier to the other. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
