I like that Kartra is a most in one platform and most of my business needs can be housed in one platform. This saves me time, and money every month. I like that the team is improving and adding new features to the platform at least a few time a year. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Allows for several users and has semi-granular permission categories.

The Calendars component is great for scheduling paid appointments.

The page redirection feature presented as a solution to protect content is cookie-based, meaning it will function correctly for maybe 30% of visitors. Even if a user is logged into one of your memberships that is hosted by Kartra, Kartra does not look at the tags they have associated with their contact record to determine if they are allowed access to one of your pages in Kartra. 100% cookie-based. So every visitor would be required to allow third-party cookies in their browser settings for this to have a chance at functioning. Third-party cookies are disabled by default for almost all browsers.

There are bugs in the email builder, page builder and membership builder that should have been worked out by the beta release. Working within these builders is very tedious and time-consuming as a result.

They do host videos for use in your memberships, but they must be uploaded and processed in real-time. The size restriction per video file is 999MB, which is not great if you have high-resolution videos. Be prepared to split them into several files. The media upload tool has the option to queue up videos for upload, but in my experience, it is smarter to do one at a time because the queue has a tendency to fail and all videos in the queue are lost when that happens. So you must upload the video and then wait for it to process which takes 5, 10, 15 minutes each.

There is no functionality for creating reports and the analytics are basic.

The Funnels function they seem to be super proud of is nothing more than a mock representation of what might happen if you built out the pretend model that you can create in their Funnels function. It has no real use, it is all make-believe. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The payment management system. Nobody talks about it, but it is by far the best feature Kartra has.

You can manage payments, cancelations, refunds, recurrent payments (including changing dates) all inside Kartra, not need to go to any of your payment processors. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Having everything in one place is so handy. I love that my membership, my affiliate, my products, and my cart are all on the same platform. Yes many all-in-ones do this, but I like the flow of kartra. i also like the built-in page builder. It is a time saver. I also love having the analytics right there. It took a minute to learn the order in which to create the components in a campaign. Having the product be the last thing you build seemed counterintuitive, but once I had the order in my head that actual building is very easy. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Aside from the all-inclusive, email marketing, list building, web hosting, page building & so much more business management platform, the best feature I like best is knowing if you need help or support for anything, that Kartra is there for you. Well since my first review. Alot happened. Shortly after I did this review, something very strange happened.

I woke up, did my thing and sat down in front of my laptop to login to my Kartra account.

Everything seemed normal, entered my username & password then clicked login.

Next thing i know, a popup appears telling me I have been blocked and to contact chat support.

Now aside from trying to figure out why i was blocked, I now needed to find a way to contact chat support, from the outside of my Kartra account.

Not an easy thing to do. My only option was to wait until I was in a different IP and try and login.

When all of those methods failed , days had turned into weeks, and weeks into months.

I had an associate who I iknew also had a Kartra account forward a message for me to Kartra support, explaining the situation.

Another few weeks later, I was finally contacted by someone at Kartra, who never really told me anything. Just that I was no longer welcome at Kartra.

This sudden lockout, cost me an entire years worth of commissions. Because as soon as I was locked out, everything in my account failed to renew, failed to re-activate and so on. None of my optin pages worked, my funnels were no more and basically my entire online business dissolved.

To this very day, I have never been told WHY this happened, or anything. You would think that for something to end like this, the way it ended, that you would want to let this customer/client know exactly what happened. So they may learn and gain a better understanding of what happened.

Kartra in this matter chose to ignore me, lock me out of everything, blacklist me. Totally breaking my online into tiny scattered pieces that I couldnt rebuild quite the same and it never did gain traction again.

I wish I had more to tell you but even I dont know and will never know why , out of the blue, i was locked out, never to return to Kartra. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I love that kartra allows for such a depth and breath of cloud storage and I can easily store anything related to business practices at the touch of a button/upload. It's simple and affordable and useful for marketing automation as well. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The most helpful thing about Kartra is that it allows you to integrate your website, sales, marketing, and communication systems all into one. Not only have I been able to reduce costs but eliminate all these separate systems, I have been able to brand all my sites across all funnels. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

My only dislike at the moment is with some of the customizations currently unavailable. I want the ability to customize the login screen for specific content exclusive to members only. However, the default login screen is uncustomizable at the moment. Also, I'd like to see a little more robustness when setting wait states within the Sequence builder for minute increments instead of the default of 1 hour. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
