## Circle Reviews
 ### 1. And Excellent Community Platform for Nonprofits and Arts Organizations

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** O.Q. J. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 05, 2026

**What do you like best about Circle?**

Circle has been an excellent platform for building and managing our nonprofit community. I appreciate now easy it is to organize content into Spaces, create events with an integrated calendar, host discussions, and keep members engaged in one place. As an administrator, I also like the flexibility to customize the community for different audiences. We're using Circle to support our arts education programs, events, fundraising, and member communication, and it has become a central hub for our organization. The platform continues to add valuable features like AI, making it even more powerful.

**What do you dislike about Circle?**

My biggest challenge has been discovering some of the more advanced features. A few administrative workflows and settings aren't always intuitive, and I found myself relying on support articles or experimenting to understand how certain features worked. Better onboarding, clearer documentation for administrators, and more guided setup for tools like AI agents would make the experience even better. Overall, these are improvements rather than major issues, and they haven't prevented us from successfully building our community.

**What problems is Circle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Circle has helped us replace multiple disconnected tools with one organized platform for our nonprofit community. Instead of managing conversations, events, announcements, resources, and member engagement across several apps, everything is centralized in one place. This has improved communication with our students, parents, instructors, volunteers, and supporters while giving us a professional space to promote events, fundraising, and educational programs. As our community grows, Circle is helping us build stronger engagement and save valuable administrative time.

 ### 2. The Best All-in-One Community Platform I’ve Used

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jono Y. | Software Engineer, Civil Commercial Market Group, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 20, 2026

**What do you like best about Circle?**

Circle has become much more than a community platform. It combines memberships, courses, events, discussions, email, automations, AI Agents, and branded mobile apps into a single ecosystem that dramatically reduces the need for third-party tools. The pace of product development has been exceptional, especially around AI, workflows, and member engagement. As both a designer and developer, I appreciate that Circle gives me enough flexibility to build polished experiences while still being approachable for non-technical community owners. The platform strikes a rare balance between ease of use and enterprise-level capability, making it possible to create communities that feel intentional, professional, and highly engaging.

**What do you dislike about Circle?**

The biggest limitation is that customization still has clear boundaries. While Site Builder and custom code cover many use cases, deeper control over layouts, data, and dynamic experiences would make the platform significantly more powerful. The API continues to improve, but there are still endpoints and event triggers that would unlock much richer integrations and custom applications. I would also like to see more advanced analytics, reporting, and filtering built directly into the platform. Finally, some newer features—especially AI Agents—are incredibly promising, but would benefit from additional configuration options, deeper automation hooks, and more granular control as they continue to mature.

**What problems is Circle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Before Circle, building a community often meant stitching together half a dozen different platforms for memberships, courses, events, discussions, email, automations, and mobile apps. Circle brings all of those capabilities together in one platform, which has significantly reduced complexity, saved time, and created a much more cohesive experience for both me and my members. The addition of AI Agents, workflows, and a growing API has also made it possible to automate support, onboarding, and member engagement in ways that weren’t practical before. As someone who designs products and communities for a living, Circle allows me to spend less time managing technology and more time creating value for members.

 ### 3. Smooth and Supportive

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kirsten C. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 10, 2026

**What do you like best about Circle?**

Everything is in one place. No social media distractions or nonsense. Focus. Emails, recordings, resources, etc. Lots of options and a very clean, minimal look. I want to understand the gamification options better. The customer support was amazing too. I love how affordable it is and easy to set up, especially with my tech svvy husband's support. .

**What do you dislike about Circle?**

On time a video did not record and I wonder if it was because my guest also ran her own Cirlce group and maybe her settings were different than mine? It has never happened since, or before.

**What problems is Circle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It allows me to gather with people from all over and who share the same goals.

 ### 4. Intuitive Community Platform with Room for Growth

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Professional Training & Coaching | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 04, 2026

**What do you like best about Circle?**

I love the Circle interface because it's intuitive and easy to understand. The event creation feature is really helpful, and I appreciate its integration with my calendar. The fact that I can search up different things makes it interesting as well. I also find it quite nice that we can have courses, events, and leaderboards, which can be fine-tuned to the kind of work we do. This flexibility is really beneficial. I also like how easy it is to maneuver through various sections like the feeds and resources. We've even created an SOP library, which makes it easy to move through our database of contacts and coursework. This makes it quite beneficial for me. The performance so far has been well put together; I haven't experienced system downtime. This also comes into play: the ease of the onboarding process was exceptional. I was able to set up an account and learn my way around within minutes. I have not had any AI features to use with it, so that might be an area of improvement for Circle. The team should look into adding more AI aided features in the coming updates.

**What do you dislike about Circle?**

I feel like I'd hope for Circle to have an application instead of just having a web version. Sometimes I want to just open Circle without having to open my browser. That would be nice. I'm not sure if it does, but I have not seen that.

**What problems is Circle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Circle for team communication, creating a community where we can share ideas and discussions. It gives visibility into what everyone is doing and facilitates group-based discussions, making it interactive and bringing people together.

 ### 5. Circle Creates a Premium, Centralized Home for Our Creator Community

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Leisure, Travel & Tourism | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 24, 2026

**What do you like best about Circle?**

Circle has given us a centralized home for our creator program in a way that no general-purpose tool (Slack, Discord, Notion) ever could. The member experience feels genuinely premium, which matters when you’re asking high-leverage creators to engage with you consistently. Engagement on briefs is measurably higher than what we saw with email and WhatsApp, and it’s easier to keep conversations in one place. Overall, the platform makes the relationship feel like a community rather than a vendor portal, and that shift has been worth a lot for retention.

**What do you dislike about Circle?**

The platform is clearly built member-first, and that focus comes through in ways that matter to operators. That said, anything involving bulk moderation, segmentation, or cohort-level analytics ends up taking more clicks—and more exporting—than it really should. The pricing tiers also feel structured to nudge you into upgrading for capabilities you’d ideally expect at a lower level; workflows and deeper API access, in particular, sit just beyond what feels like the natural fit for a mid-sized program. On top of that, the mobile admin experience noticeably lags behind the web version.

**What problems is Circle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The core problem we needed solved: how do you keep a distributed group of high-leverage creators engaged with your brand between active campaigns? Email and chat tools weren't doing it, too transactional, too easy to ignore. Circle gave us a persistent, branded space where creators come back even when they don't have an active brief. That has translated into faster activation cycles, higher response rates, and creators who feel like part of a program rather than vendors on a one-off contract.

 ### 6. A far-reaching platform which respects and works with the needs of its members.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Health, Wellness and Fitness

**Reviewed Date:** June 22, 2026

**What do you like best about Circle?**

We love that Circle views its members as part of its team. We enjoy the benefits of being able to reach audiences all around the world without the restrictions faced on other platforms. When we have an idea or question, Circle is prompt to listen, problem-solve, and looks for ways to incorporate our ideas.

**What do you dislike about Circle?**

Many of those that come to our community are facing health conditions that make it difficult for them to understand and use new platforms. Some have struggled with navigating Circle. Some type of navigational help that pops up and guides them as they use the app at first would be helpful.

**What problems is Circle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Circle has been great about increasing awareness of our organization and its services. Circle does this not only through our community, but also be increasing our presence in web searches.

 ### 7. Where Moderators and Members Feel Right at Home

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Michele N. | Speech Language Pathologist, Community Moderator, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 14, 2025

**What do you like best about Circle?**

As a moderator, I feel seen and valued. The Circle customer support team actually listens—when I suggest something that would make moderation smoother or improve community flow, they take it seriously. Sometimes, it even becomes a new feature! The platform itself is intuitive, clean, and genuinely helps rather than hinders. Every update feels like it was built with real users in mind—especially those of us actively running communities.

**What do you dislike about Circle?**

The search feature still feels like a bit of a maze. Even with experience, I often feel overwhelmed when trying to track something down — and I can only imagine how confusing it might be for new members or families who are just getting started.

It’s not that the content isn’t there — it’s that finding it quickly and intuitively still takes more clicks and mental energy than it should. Improving the search and filtering experience would go a long way in making the platform more accessible and empowering for everyone, not just power users- plus the more members that use the search feature effectively, the easier for moderators.

**What problems is Circle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Although we've only used Circle as a platform to host our community (for over 2 years), Circle has been a game-changer for me as a moderator of a parent community focused on supporting children with language delays. What I appreciate most is how the platform helps me stay organized and present for the families I serve. It’s user-friendly and I don't feel like I have to fight with technology. Gives me more time to focus on building connections, sharing strategies, and creating a space where parents feel empowered and less alone in their journey.

I am not an owner of this business, and I don't know more than being a moderator, but I do know that families have less challenges and glitches now that the course is being offered through circle as well. We never have difficulty with LIVES and when we have ideas (quizes vs. polls, searching through phrases vs. single words, etc.) they seem to be heard and added quickly which helps Improves the quality of work I put out to these families.

 ### 8. Simple Onboarding, Fresh Monthly Updates, and Ever-Growing Community Tools

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Cory L. | Influencer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 22, 2026

**What do you like best about Circle?**

I’ve been on Circle for several years now. What stands out most is how simple it is for new members to come in and get oriented without friction. The platform has plenty of tools, and the broader Circle community constantly shares smart ideas on how to operate and expand effectively.

They’ve also picked up the pace with consistent monthly updates, which keeps things fresh. I’m always exploring new ways to engage my members, and Circle keeps rolling out features that actually make that easier.

**What do you dislike about Circle?**

Support has been solid. When something critical pops up, they’re on it fast. With smaller, one-off issues, it can take a bit longer to sort out—but that’s pretty standard anywhere.

What’s really impressive is their new AI support tool. It can actually adjust community settings for me and get things done without the usual back-and-forth. Honestly, it’s one of the coolest support features I’ve used.

Overall, the drawbacks are minor—just the normal trade-offs you get with any platform you rely on regularly.

**What problems is Circle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Circle really sits at the center of everything I do. It’s the core of my community in a way no social platform can realistically replicate. Social media helps bring people in the door, sure—but the real engagement, the meaningful conversations, and the long-term relationships all happen inside the community itself.

 ### 9. Community and Course Content in one place

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Consumer Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 20, 2025

**What do you like best about Circle?**

We moved onto Circle after trying many platforms to be able to have our course content and community space in one space that was ours (vs a social media site or multiple platforms). It is great for our team and our customers to have access to our full set of offers in one place. They are constantly updating things- we have been on Circle for 2+ years now and many of the features we were missing when we signed up are now on Circle.

**What do you dislike about Circle?**

There are some limits to customizing things like your course. We really liked the way our course looked visually on our previous platform. Circles courses are a new-er offering of theirs and they have released some visuals to go along with, but I would love to be able to style the courses. I also wish we could edit peoples email addresses for typos- it is a common issue we have when people sign up. Analytics is new-er, could be better and easier to use.

**What problems is Circle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Circle puts all of our information in one place for community and course content. We do not have to be on multiple platforms. This is huge for us.

 ### 10. Circle Makes Community Structure, Onboarding, and Web Building Effortless

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Liz C. | Co-Founder, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 16, 2026

**What do you like best about Circle?**

Circle is awesome! I love how it allows me to structure my community so we all know where different conversations are going on. Its course space allows me to upload onboarding materials like a tour of Circle and how members can navigate my community. Circle's new web builder has also made it possible for me to create a website and sales page for my community without paying for extra software or needing to mirror the look on a different site.

**What do you dislike about Circle?**

I feel like Circle nickels-and-dimes you for functionality. I have under 100 members, but as soon as I go over 100 members, I'll need to pay $20/month if I want to use their email feature. I also found that to make use of the automated workflows they advertise, I quickly needed to upgrade to a business account. I love the platform, but it is very expensive at the end of the day.

**What problems is Circle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Circle has created an easy-to-navigate course platform that allows me to handle nearly everything I need for my community. It offers a site builder so I can build marketing materials to attract new members, its payment system ties in seamlessly with Stripe, I can use their email feature an email members when they join the community with an onboarding sequence, and I can email my members without having to dig into a different email system. Circle also offers affiliate sales and other features that I will use over time.

 ### 11. Robust, Well-Supported Community Platform That Makes Engagement Effortless

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Philip P. | Owner, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 14, 2026

**What do you like best about Circle?**

Circle is a robust, well-supported community software that makes it easy to engage with people I care about. Their suite of offerings is a perfect fit for engagement and connection without friction.

**What do you dislike about Circle?**

While Circle is constantly improving, there are many slow-moving development cycles. Certain features that seem to be obvious and simple are not able to be implemented without considerable work. Their backend architecture is good, but seems like they've had to do work-arounds as needs have developed. This isn't uncommon, just frustrating at times.

**What problems is Circle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Circle gives a direct connection to followers. This has been extremely important to me (and to clients I have referred) because so much of the traditional algorithms make those connections harder and harder. Having a platform for courses, livestreams, and community chat and posting with easy setup is something that didn't exist a few years ago. It changed the way I approached our business model.

 ### 12. Circle Transformed Our Community: Easy Monetization, Search, and Unbeatable Support

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Susan F. | Community Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 12, 2026

**What do you like best about Circle?**

Circle has transformed our community. We moved from a free platform to Circle in 2025 and we kept all the things we liked about the old platform and ditched everything we hated and GOT SO MUCH MORE! We are able to monetize, prioritize, create new content, search easily, tag posts in a split second ... it's made our community even more special than it was before. Customer support is also great, cannot be beat!

**What do you dislike about Circle?**

Our biggest challenge has been getting folks to adopt a new platform/app/account. Many people have signed up but then do not engage or log back in. That is something we are working on but is just a challenge inherent in moving away from a free platform that folks have used for over a decade.

**What problems is Circle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Circle has allowed us to create and market different products to clients. The ease of organization and setting up workflows has simplified our lives, allowed us to do more in less time!

 ### 13. Intuitive Platform with Room for Engagement Improvement

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** LeeAnna T. | Founder, Business Coach, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 27, 2026

**What do you like best about Circle?**

I appreciate that Circle allows me to connect with other business owners and potential clients, and access trainings, which helps with business building. I like how easy it is to navigate and connect with others. I also enjoy that it's still a social channel but separate from social media, with fewer distractions due to the lack of ads, which helps me get more done. Additionally, having it linked to my Google account makes it easy to integrate with my calendar.

**What do you dislike about Circle?**

Building the backend can be complicated if you're not used to the system or able to understand the workflows. I also wish there were more ways to keep the channels more active with the members in the groups. I'm not really sure. I just know that sometimes the groups tend to have low activity in them and go the same way as private Facebook groups. I guess it's really just an engagement thing.

**What problems is Circle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Circle allows me to connect with business owners, potential clients, and access training, while providing a distraction-free social channel off social media.

 ### 14. Effortless Community Hosting with Robust Engagement

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Ranching | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 14, 2025

**What do you like best about Circle?**

I host my mentorship membership community and my online programs through Circle. It's clean, easy to use for myself and my clients, and it has an app, which is very important for my students to be able to access their modules when they're out with their horses. It makes the modules and the content the focus instead of clunky or ugly interfaces. My clients are more likely to engage in the community spaces because they find the platform easy to use. The initial setup was super easy. I have recommended it to many friends, colleagues, and clients.

**What do you dislike about Circle?**

I wish the website design tools were more advanced so I could switch my website over as well. More flexibility in the design. The ability to drag and drop anything anywhere so I can be more creative. Right now it feels very rigid.

**What problems is Circle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Circle provides a place to host my educational programs, community spaces, and events calendar. It's clean and easy to use, which helps clients engage more. The app allows students to access content anywhere, making my programs more accessible.

 ### 15. Seamless Community Management with Circle

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Rachel A. | Senior Manager, Revenue Enablement, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 27, 2026

**What do you like best about Circle?**

I really like how easy Circle was to implement and continue using. It's super simple to give other team members access internally and adding new partners or customers to the community is really easy, making it simple to see who's active and engaging with the community. The user friendliness of Circle is awesome, and when we were initially implementing, the team was really great to work with. Both ease of implementation and user friendliness are crucial, and having both makes Circle a much stickier product for us internally. It also makes it easier for our partners and customers to use, especially since they're not typically the most tech-savvy. This leads to better engagement and a more connected community, producing an all-around better experience.

**What do you dislike about Circle?**

I think the only thing is scrolling through our main pages. It can be a little bland because it's just a lot of white and gray. So it's a little lackluster in the customization on the home pages, but that might also be an us problem.

**What problems is Circle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Circle connects our partners, facilitates trainings, and updates efficiently, overcoming connectivity issues. It also simplifies customer interactions, enhancing community engagement and connectivity.

 ### 16. Intuitive Platform with Growth Potential

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Vanessa K. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 27, 2026

**What do you like best about Circle?**

I think Circle is the best online platform right now because of its ease of use, the ease of building, and the white labeling capabilities. I also really like that Circle is always updating and innovating and listening to our feedback when we think something is missing. I think that really puts Circle above the rest.

**What do you dislike about Circle?**

I think that having additional features like extra options for gamification instead of needing to do patches, workflows, webhooks, and that kind of thing. I think the more that you're able to make it an intuitive and fully customizable platform, that allows for things like that, the better. Because that's what I feel like I run into a lot all of the communities that I help and build and manage is that we have a wish that there was greater customization and also the ability on our end to have different admin levels and the ability for admins to adjust emails for members. Merging accounts when someone wants to use an account with an existing email would also be helpful as right now you have to entirely delete someone's account and have them start over, it's not great for user experience.

**What problems is Circle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Circle helps generate income and create deeper connections, boosting sales and upgrade potential with events and announcements.

 ### 17. All-In-One Community Management with Nice Features

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Liam F. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 27, 2026

**What do you like best about Circle?**

I run a paid community on Circle and it solves almost every problem other platforms have, offering the best of everything in terms of features, much better than Slack or Discord. I really like Circle's analytics dashboard as it gives me all the data I need to stay informed about my community. I can see when users are most active, identify popular content, and find out which spaces work, allowing me to make data-driven decisions about rewarding users or updating spaces. Circle makes onboarding simple and efficient for new members, streamlining the entire process. The event management in Circle is excellent, with features like dedicated event spaces, RSVP, reminders, and a calendar, significantly boosting the success of events. Additionally, setting up Circle was easy with a free 14-day trial, and the support is great, I received awesome support and quick resolutions from their team.

**What do you dislike about Circle?**

The app experience on mobile needs improving, especially on Android. Sometimes reactions don't register, or the chat box can't be clicked as it's overlapped or not showing. It's not ideal to have to close and reopen the app to fix issues, which isn't great as it can cause friction and potential churn among community members. But things seem to be improving with fewer complaints from members recently and likely by the time someone reads this review it would have been fixed. Also, if I was being cheeky, I would like to see some of the business plan features included in the professional membership for smaller communities that don't hit the threshold for needing the business plan yet. The workflows for example, for smaller communities just starting out, it would be great if we were given access to this to help us with activation, onboarding, and user engagement because my ultimate goal is to outgrow the professional plan and switch to the business one but right now the numbers aren't quite there yet.

**What problems is Circle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Circle solves platform issues by providing effective features. Its analytics remove guesswork, enhancing decisions. Onboarding, event management, and a user-friendly dashboard boost engagement, ensuring successful community management. Circle takes care of everything leaving me to focus on growing and running my community. For the first 3 months I used the data combined with member feedback to make some significant positive changes to improve the member experience and Circle made it easy to do with just a few clicks.

 ### 18. All-in-One Community and Courses That Streamline Our Team’s Workflow

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Education Management | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 27, 2026

**What do you like best about Circle?**

I love being able to keep our community and courses all in one place. It’s helped us streamline and simplify everything across our community and school, which has improved both time management and overall efficiency for our team. We’ve also received very positive feedback from our students, especially around how easy the platform is to use and how well everything is organized.

**What do you dislike about Circle?**

We’d love for our team admins to be able to complete course lessons on behalf of a student, especially for our legacy students who transferred from our old course platform to Circle courses. We’d also appreciate it if the affiliate program features were a more intentional area of focus for improvement.

**What problems is Circle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It gives us a safe, private space outside of social media where we can host free events for our entire community, run paid programs and courses, and still keep everything in one calendar so everyone stays informed and organized.

 ### 19. Effortless Community Building with Circle

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jonathan S. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 27, 2026

**What do you like best about Circle?**

I launched an online church using the Circle platform. It's so easy to use and build out. The ease of use is incredible, and I figured it out quickly despite being self-taught and not a pro. I thought about integrating with Zoom, but the feature within Circle is great and eliminates the need for Zoom. Circle is head and shoulders above Skool. The platform fosters community engagement within our church, allowing members to contribute and consume, serving and ministering to others and 'being the church' rather than just 'watching the church'.

**What do you dislike about Circle?**

The limit on spaces. I pay $129 per month to upgrade, and it's a substantial increase in cost for me. The only benefit I desire from the upgrade is the number of spaces I am able to create. The limited number of spaces does limit all that we would like to accomplish within our Circle.

**What problems is Circle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Circle creates a church community, allowing engagement and contribution instead of just content consumption. It's easy to use and build out.

 ### 20. Highly Customizable, Perfect for Community Building

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Shawn J. | Sr Scalable Education Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 27, 2026

**What do you like best about Circle?**

I like that Circle is super customizable. I can make it look and feel like us. It's great that it includes a meeting/webinar tool built in. We haven't taken full advantage of this yet but will soon be migrating our customer training webinars from Zoom to Circle so that our Community becomes a truly one-stop shop for training. Circle provides us a good balance of the tools we need and the ease of use for customers. The initial setup was very easy, and we had good help from our Circle rep.

**What do you dislike about Circle?**

While I like the current flexibility to build spaces, I feel like sometimes customizing the spaces themselves can be a little rigid. For example, I can't add space links to a photo page. That seems silly to me. I feel like I should be able to build a fully customized space and add whatever elements I want to it. I'd love more of a space builder page where I could add, place, and move things around. I could add panels from a menu of options. I could basically see exactly what the page would look like before I approve and publish it.

**What problems is Circle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Circle offers our customers a place to connect globally about best practices. It provides tools we need and ease of use that Facebook and Slack lacked.

 ### 21. Great Community Platform, But Slow Performance

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Colleen U. | CEO and Coach, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 27, 2026

**What do you like best about Circle?**

I use Circle to host a community and my content for my membership and my course. I really appreciate Circle's beautiful and easy-to-use layout and format, which makes it easy for my members and students to navigate. It's also easy for me and my team to leave comments or feedback, which is great when people have questions or want to share. Circle facilitates community and connections nicely with easy-to-use formats and features. I love that you can use text, video, and images; it's graphically appealing and easy to navigate. The flexibility for students to share their work in a video, image, or text, without feeling forced to participate in an uncomfortable way, helps build connection and trust.

**What do you dislike about Circle?**

My biggest struggle with Circle is that it loads so slowly. And I've not been able to resolve this issue, over a long period of time with Circle. And so for me as a user, then that makes it really challenging to participate in my community.

**What problems is Circle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Circle to host a community and share content easily. Its layout is beautiful and easy to use, helping my members and students navigate well. Circle facilitates community engagement with its easy formats and features, making interaction comfortable.

 ### 22. Easy to Use, Powerful Tools for Building Community Engagement

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 27, 2026

**What do you like best about Circle?**

What I like best about Circle Community is how easy it is to use while still offering powerful tools to build engagement. The platform makes it simple to organize discussions, events, and content in one clean space, which creates a better experience for both admins and members.

I also appreciate how focused Circle is on customer success—the platform feels built around helping communities grow, with strong support resources and thoughtful features that encourage interaction and connection.

**What do you dislike about Circle?**

What I dislike about Circle is that some advanced features and deeper customization options can feel limited unless you move to higher-tier plans, which may be challenging for smaller communities or growing teams. I’d also like to see more robust analytics and automation flexibility to make it even easier to scale engagement and track member behavior over time.

**What problems is Circle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Circle solves the challenge of keeping a community engaged and organized in one central place instead of relying on scattered tools like email, social media groups, and separate event platforms. It brings discussions, content, events, and member interaction together in a clean and easy-to-manage environment.

For me, that creates a better member experience, saves time on administration, and makes it easier to build stronger relationships and ongoing engagement within the community.

 ### 23. Easy Product Builder and Clear UX That Boosts Community Engagement

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kaileen S. | COO, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 04, 2026

**What do you like best about Circle?**

I love the easy build for products, the app it allows us to have, the engagement of our community has increased because of the clear simple UX.

**What do you dislike about Circle?**

I find it absolutely SHOCKING how poor the admin interface is. Workflows cannot be searched or filtered. It's outrageous. It forces us to minimize how much we build out in the back end. We are a high volume business and I think it's ridiculous there's no if/then logic in the workflows and then on top of that there's no folders or search for the workflows. Same with tags... I literally am speechless that this is not a core function and that after all this time you haven't added it in.

**What problems is Circle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Mobile App & platform can be managed by admins rather than needing to keep in house tech on staff.

 ### 24. A Powerful Tool for Organized, Engaged Communities (Life Clubs)

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ashley W. | Head of Community, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 05, 2026

**What do you like best about Circle?**

What I like best about Circle is how customizable it is - it's easy to create dedicated spaces for different topics, and it keeps my community engaged with structured discussions and events. The user interface is clean, and the organization tools are top-notch.

**What do you dislike about Circle?**

One thing I don’t like as much is that its mobile experience isn’t as smooth as the desktop version - it can feel a bit clunky on smaller screens. I’m hopeful they continue to improve mobile usability because the desktop features are really strong.

**What problems is Circle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Circle is solving the problem of keeping my community organized and engaged in one place. Before, it was hard to keep track of different conversations and events, but now everything is centralized, easy to navigate, and it saves me time while helping members feel more connected and informed.

 ### 25. Amazing Community Platform with a Powerful Website Builder and Helpful Support

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Divine B. | Community Manager/Website Builder, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 26, 2026

**What do you like best about Circle?**

I like almost all of the features of Circle, especially the website builder and the community itself. Every time I run into a problem, it’s been very easy to reach out to their support group. For example, I once had an issue integrating my brand font, so I raised it with Circle support, and within a matter of months the website builder already had an option that let me choose my font. Overall, using Circle as a community manager has been amazing.

**What do you dislike about Circle?**

I’ve been using Circle for about six months now, and thankfully I haven’t run into anything disappointing so far. I’m genuinely grateful that I found this tool.

**What problems is Circle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Community building! I’ve tried different tools across the internet, and Circle has helped me bring my community together in a secure, more intimate way. I especially love how it supported me in building a community that brings groups of moms together globally.

 ### 26. All-in-One Community Hub for Training, Coaching, and Events

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Katy P. | Social Media Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 16, 2026

**What do you like best about Circle?**

I love that we can use it as a platform for community engagement, but we can also use it house our training videos, coaching calls, and even create workflows to remind our community members about events or even just to come back and login.

**What do you dislike about Circle?**

I think the only downside we have come across is that it is harder to get clients to login and engage when we moved from a Facebook group because it isn't an app that someone just sits down and scrolls anyway, they have to intentionally sit down and login.

**What problems is Circle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We had a number of issues with our Facebook group, everything was disorganized and clients kept messaging one another and it led to cliques and other issues. Circle helps us keep things more community friendly, better organized, and we don't have to use several different platforms.

 ### 27. It feels flexible—there’s always a way to find a solution that fits me.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Consulting

**Reviewed Date:** April 07, 2026

**What do you like best about Circle?**

It feels flexible—there’s always a way to shape it to fit me. I work intuitively without a fixed product plan, and Circle still supports that. I love having everything in one place to engage with my people, without needing live calls. People can move at their own pace—self-study or join conversations. It gives me space to grow and adapt as my work evolves.

**What do you dislike about Circle?**

I miss a clear big-picture overview of how everything fits together. Learning through fragmented videos didn’t work well for me. It took me time to understand that I needed an external website as a funnel and for payments—which seems common, but wasn’t obvious at first. Also, since Circle is closed, it’s not discoverable through search, so you need to clearly guide people why to join. I figured it out over time, but it slowed me down.

**What problems is Circle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It gives me one central space where everything is in one place. Instead of using multiple tools, I can bring content, conversations, and engagement together. This simplifies how I work and supports my need for an all-in-one, flexible environment.

 ### 28. Intuitive, Calm Community Hub That Brings Posts, Events, and Members Together

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Barb B. | Owner/Creator, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 30, 2026

**What do you like best about Circle?**

Circle makes it easy to build a genuine community in one simple, organized space. I love having posts, discussions, events, and members all together without distractions or algorithms. It feels intuitive, calm, and supportive, more like a gathering space than a social platform.

**What do you dislike about Circle?**

As a creator, the initial learning curve around setup, navigation, and content organization can take time, especially when building a thoughtful member experience. It wasn't quite what I needed for my courses and have moved to Thrive Cart for most of those. Also, would love more than video in this area including easy PDF embedding and audio and not just video.

**What problems is Circle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Circle helps me create a dedicated, distraction-free home for my community. It replaces noisy social platforms with a focused space where real connection can happen, which benefits me by deepening engagement and making community building feel sustainable rather than draining.

 ### 29. 🌱 Turner UX - Helping people find their place, their path, and their people.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Law Enforcement

**Reviewed Date:** June 23, 2026

**What do you like best about Circle?**

-Community First

Circle is built around people and conversations, not algorithms and advertising.

-Human Connection

Aligns with Surf-Connection's mission: Powered by Human Connection.

-Continuous Improvement

Circle actively develops the platform and listens to community builders.

**What do you dislike about Circle?**

-Learning Curve
New members can feel overwhelmed when first entering a large community.

-Too Many Options
Community builders can easily overbuild and create unnecessary complexity.

-Onboarding Challenges
Requires a thoughtful "Mudroom" or welcome experience for members to understand where they belong.

**What problems is Circle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Circle helps me solve a navigation problem. People often arrive looking for different things, and Circle gives me the structure to help them find the right path, the right resources, and the right community.

 ### 30. API Ingestion at Scale and an AI Agent That Boosts Engagement

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Javan N. | Product Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 28, 2026

**What do you like best about Circle?**

I really like that we can use the API to ingest learners directly. Since we have hundreds of thousands of learners, this has been awesome and has made a big difference for us.

The new AI Agent has also been really helpful for boosting our community engagement efforts.

**What do you dislike about Circle?**

Circle could improve its qualitative analytics. The quantitative analytics are amazing, but strengthening the “who” aspect would go a long way.

**What problems is Circle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Circle has allowed us to bring together our learners over 600k+ from 60+ countries around the world. This has enabled more holistic learning, stronger engagement, and timely support for our learners.

 ### 31. Easy-to-Use, Community-First Platform with Multi-Purpose Features

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Liam B. | Governor (Co-Opted), Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 27, 2026

**What do you like best about Circle?**

Multi-purpose features, bringing community at the heart of the product. Easy to use interface, much more than competitors we also reviewed. Useful onboarding procedure, giving examples of what we could do to bring the community to life. Pricing is fair - it would be useful if we could have more spaces included within the pro tiers though.

**What do you dislike about Circle?**

Pricing - would be good to have more space options in the paid for tiers.

**What problems is Circle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Bringing a community together, being able to host events, file storage etc all very useful for the different communities we are hosting for our customers.

 ### 32. Circle enabled active engagment with our community

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Professional Training & Coaching

**Reviewed Date:** March 24, 2026

**What do you like best about Circle?**

Having a mobile app where our community can post, engage with others' posts, and send DMs without having to be on a computer enables us to fit into the "small gaps" in the day where people would go to social media. Making it much easier to have daily & weekly active users, compared to if it were just a desktop thing.

**What do you dislike about Circle?**

There's no automatic way for events to show up on our members' calendars. For our specific use case with 2 available calls per week, we found that our members would miss calls because they hadn't RSVP'd for events & manually added the calls to their calendar. The workaround we're using right now is we have a shared Google calendar that we add each user to when they join, so all the events automatically show up on their calendars. It's working... but we're currently having to make all our calls in two places.

**What problems is Circle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We run a community for creative service providers that need a space to ask questions & get advice on running their business, that's separate from their clients. Calls are one part, but an easy-to-use online community that they can easily dip in and out of allows them to feel supported in real time. The specific problems cirlce is solving: one common place for conversations, resources, and calls; an intuitive platform that doesn't have a steep learning curve when onboarding new users; built in payment (integration) & checkout pages so we don't have to use multiple platforms; cloud storage for videos, recordings, & resources so we don't have to link out for our members to access them.

 ### 33. Effortlessly Organized Community Platform

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Lovan E. | Social Media Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 27, 2026

**What do you like best about Circle?**

I really like how much more organized Circle is than some other alternatives we are used to. It's a lot easier to search and find information, which is important for our large group with hundreds and thousands of posts. With the AI tools and the better organization, it makes it a lot easier for them to find that valuable information they need about points and miles. We had a really helpful onboard manager who made the setup process easier by explaining things, along with the course and all the helpful instructions, making the setup more seamless.

**What do you dislike about Circle?**

Haven’t really disliked anything, it’s all been working well for us so far

**What problems is Circle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Circle to organize our points and miles community better than Facebook, making it much easier to search and find valuable information.

 ### 34. All-in-One Hub for Courses, Community, and Client Engagement

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Linda R. | Nonfiction Editor & Writer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 26, 2026

**What do you like best about Circle?**

That it allows me to create a special space for my clients (book editors) and my business all in one place (courses, direct messaging, live streaming, event planning, blog posting, discussion forums, and more with additional integrations). I also like seeing how Circle members like Pedro are always replying to messages and listening to us.

**What do you dislike about Circle?**

1. Cost for a small business owner like me (1 person building a community)
2.Steep learning curve on how to set up spaces, create automations, setting up paywalls, figuring out how to use integrations
3. Stripe processing fees and lack of PayPal integration
4. No "alerts" if I'm doing something wrong (i.e. I set up a paywall incorrectly and members were using Circle w/o paying)

**What problems is Circle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It's allowing my members to communicate among themselves and build relationships in a supportive and safe space.

 ### 35. It's Pretty Much Perfect

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Internet

**Reviewed Date:** August 05, 2026

**What do you like best about Circle?**

I love that you can do pretty much everything you need to run a community within Circle. Webinars, posts, badges, gamification, private messages, search by location, organize spaces, payment integration. It has so much functionality

**What do you dislike about Circle?**

It can be glitchy. The AI chat doesn't always respond accurately. I don't completely like how the spaces are organized. Trying to figure out how to private spaces, how the backend is configured to give people access to certain parts of the platform can be kind of difficult to figure out.

**What problems is Circle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I want a private community off social media for people to talk privately without strict rules of social media. It allows for a premium, private feel that is custom to my community.

 ### 36. Circle is a great community space!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Non-Profit Organization Management

**Reviewed Date:** July 22, 2026

**What do you like best about Circle?**

What is great about Circle is that it creates a space where people can come together and communicate, share resources, and so much more. It is halfway between social media and a slack type platform, with opportunities for storage and a library. It is also relatively user friendly.

**What do you dislike about Circle?**

I do not think that the video option for Circle is very good, especially compared to things like Zoom and Teams.

**What problems is Circle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Being able to connect various interest holders internationally to communicate with our organisation, and each other.

 ### 37. Responsive Circle Team and Helpful Updates

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Non-Profit Organization Management | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 06, 2026

**What do you like best about Circle?**

Circle works well for both complex and more surface level setup of online communities. It's interface is particularly well designed when it comes to adding new posts, events and information. There's a good amount of freedom in how things can be set up - but not too much. The design options that are available are well implemented, it's hard to mess up - and easy to learn, which is a good combination. Our team accesses our Circle member portal daily, and rarely encounter bugs or issues. If we do they are resolved very quickly and have always been very minor.

**What do you dislike about Circle?**

There is still a ways to go with some of the smaller features that make workflows a little easier, that other platforms already have. For example, it would be great to have toggles that automatically setup event reminders at common times such as 1 day, 1 week before the event. That being said, the Circle team is very responsive to issues, and takes feedback well, each update brings new features that are often helpful.

**What problems is Circle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We needed an online portal for our members to be able to login to, and access events and content. We have been able to use Circle to setup a versatile space, which includes forums, in-person and virtual event listings, announcements and rewards pages. We are able to easily add content and change things about the space.

 ### 38. Easy to Use, Innovative, and Mobile-Friendly with Great Support

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Laureen J. | Founder & CEO, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 27, 2026

**What do you like best about Circle?**

Ease of use, good support, innovation and mobile friendly.

**What do you dislike about Circle?**

I’d like to see the course area offer more robust features, such as additional question types, rationales for questions, and clearer feedback on questions.

**What problems is Circle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our previous course delivery platform wasn’t mobile-friendly and always felt a bit clunky to use. Circle makes the mobile experience easy and straightforward.

 ### 39. Circle makes building a community and providing high quality courses fun and easy!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Tracy R. | Director of Community, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 22, 2025

**What do you like best about Circle?**

Circle has everything you need to create a professional, robust community. We love the course building features and the live event feature. Our members love how intuitive the entire platform is to navigate. When we first started, implementation was fast and simple! And a huge shoutout to the support team at Circle. They are so quick to reply and thorough in getting any questions answered.

**What do you dislike about Circle?**

I wish there was breakout room capability within the live event feature.

**What problems is Circle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We needed a clean look, user-friendly platform to build our community and Circle has provided that for us. Our users are complimentary on how fun it is so interact with others on the platform and how easy it is to access our courses.

 ### 40. The only community app I would use

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jessie V. | CEO, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 10, 2025

**What do you like best about Circle?**

I have used a lot of app over the years, and Circle is by far the easiest to use. Both the web and mobile app are intuitive. You also get access to the Circle community where you can ask questions and use their AI chatbot to get the answer you need. This makes it very easy to learn about what you need to do, or gives you ideas on what you can do.

**What do you dislike about Circle?**

Waiting for the website builder... This will make it the app to beat.

**What problems is Circle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I needed an easy to use platform for my community and Circle is headed in the right direction so community and what is offered.

 ### 41. Empowers Community Management with Customization

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Tanya B. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 27, 2026

**What do you like best about Circle?**

I think the filters and customizations possible make Circle personalized and make it easy to track a certain group of people. The automations and workflows are also great and make work quicker. Filters make analyzing the audience easy, and automations and workflows make processes faster and improve the overall managing experience.

**What do you dislike about Circle?**

I think one thing that could be improved is integrations with some other platforms, like easy connection between Circle and some other platforms so that data can be exported easily

**What problems is Circle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Circle helps us track members, publish events, keep the community connected, and manage analytics and transactions. I appreciate the filters and customizations for personalizing and tracking groups, and automations and workflows make processes faster, enhancing the managing experience.

 ### 42. Great for Research-Driven Courses on Community Misinformation

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Boluwatife A. | Senior Research Analyst, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 17, 2026

**What do you like best about Circle?**

For me, as a researcher, building courses based on community misinformation is my favourite part of the circle.

**What do you dislike about Circle?**

It's very difficult to add games and mods that could bring a lot of excitement among community members. For example, we can have games and activities with the exception of webinars here, giving us extra work to use 3rd party platforms.

**What problems is Circle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We initially used Telegram as our community platform, but it was not safe for our users as a CEX. Now, we use Circle, and the biggest challenge was making sure only our users could communicate with each other, and that we could easily monitor these conversations for safety and reduce scams. and it solved these challenges.

 ### 43. An amazing community platform to connect, communicate and collaborate

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Non-Profit Organization Management

**Reviewed Date:** July 23, 2026

**What do you like best about Circle?**

Flexibility to configure for unique requirements.

**What do you dislike about Circle?**

1) Having only 2 levels in the space hierarchy is very limiting - at least 4 levels would be desirable.
2) It only works natively with one payment provider. Would like the ability to configure paywalls with other payment providers for countries where Stripe is not available.

**What problems is Circle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Having a single, secure platform where members accross the globe are abale to connect, communicate and collaborate, breaking down organizational silos.

 ### 44. Circle does it all.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Professional Training & Coaching

**Reviewed Date:** June 02, 2026

**What do you like best about Circle?**

I love the clear layouts for both administrative and client usage and that it incorporates so many elements that I don't have to have one million separate subscriptions/platforms.

**What do you dislike about Circle?**

The place where I regularly find the functionality lacking is in terms of automation workflows. The fact I can't add or remove a user from a workflow manually is both annoying and surprising, given other platforms of a similar sophistication to Circle offer that capability.

**What problems is Circle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Circle combines many things I need - a place to host the course, community, and direct messaging needed for a robust programmatic experience for my clients.

 ### 45. Solid Platform for Events and Member Discussions

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Annie W. | Chief of Staff / Event Producer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 23, 2026

**What do you like best about Circle?**

It's an intuitive platform with several features that are helpful for connecting with members. I like that it has the ability to host events as well as have people participate in discussions.

**What do you dislike about Circle?**

Adding members feels like it shouldn't be as complicated, there are so many options to choose and since I don't have to break out my members into a lot of segments it's confusing.

**What problems is Circle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Circle gives us a place for our WellTold community to exist online. It's easy to share information and resources with members, and I like being able to post information in the platform instead of having to email people about everything that's happening in the community.

 ### 46. Highly recommend Circle as the most customizable and intuitive Community platform

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Nicole L. | Head of Community, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 17, 2026

**What do you like best about Circle?**

The best thing about Circle is the customizability - you can gate access everywhere, decide which groups of your community you want access to which features or space, and you can tag and filter your community as you see fit.

**What do you dislike about Circle?**

I only wish that Circle has more editable posts - I wish I could edit them in the way that you can edit Notion pages, for example.

**What problems is Circle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Circle helps us create a landing page for our community - a platform where our members can come together, get informed about their benefits and offers, connect with each other, and get the most out of their membership - with an easy to use, intuitive interface.

 ### 47. Versatile Platform for Courses, Templates, and Events—Backed by a Responsive Team

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Julia S. | General Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 16, 2026

**What do you like best about Circle?**

I love the versatility of Circle. We are hosting all our offers on the platform, which include self-paced online courses, cohort-based courses, templates, and even in-person events. Their team is very responsive and they do a great job at helping you get the most out of the platform.

**What do you dislike about Circle?**

One limitation is that you can only apply one brand design to your community. We have several sub-brands in one community, and I'd love to be able to differentiate them visually in a better way.

**What problems is Circle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Circle makes it easy to build and grow a community-centered business. You only need Circle really for hosting and selling your community and courses, email marketing, website, hosting live session.

 ### 48. The Perfect Platform for Our Senior Adult Online Community Center

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Steven 'Shags' S. | Founder of ThePlayground Senior Circle, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 13, 2024

**What do you like best about Circle?**

Circle is very easy to learn and use, and provides ThePlayground Senior Circle with exactly what we needed to keep a community from dissolving due to a prior platform closing down. The cost is very affordable (though we would like to see a non-profit pricing discount), and our members, being senior adults, find it very easy to use. And customer support has been outstanding!

**What do you dislike about Circle?**

It seems difficult at times to schedule recurring events or change things from one-off to recurring without deleting the prior event and creating an entirely new one. Also, as Admin and Owner, I'd like to get an email when a new member joins us.

**What problems is Circle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

There's a Loneliness Epidemic globally, and ThePlayground Senior Circle was created to help reduce the impact by providing senior adults with a safe, secure, private, ad-free, monitored online community to share thoughts, memes, articles, and more across over 20 Spaces (we call Groups). We also use Zoom Meetings to host at least one live event for direct personal interaction once a day. Members provide their time and resources in creating fun programs for others to enjoy. This benefits me as a Rotarian in that I'm helping to make a difference in the world and in the lives of those I touch.

 ### 49. Just What I Needed

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Individual & Family Services

**Reviewed Date:** June 26, 2026

**What do you like best about Circle?**

I find the community and academy to be the best aspects of Circle. However, the reliability of the features makes this product stand out. Keep improving the usability of the product.

**What do you dislike about Circle?**

I dislike the website builder. The templates make it all feel mundane.

**What problems is Circle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Circle is giving me a way to have a dedicated space to focus and talk about issues that matter to me and my growing my community. Without ads I do not have to be bombarded with someone trying to sell me something.

 ### 50. Strong but minimal community platform at a premium price

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Luis A. | Head of Brand, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 27, 2026

**What do you like best about Circle?**

Pleasant user interface, easy to understand, tons of educational resources, many features, responsive support, Zapier integration, reliable performance.

**What do you dislike about Circle?**

Way too expensive compared to Discord, permission control is not granular enough, way too few Spaces (20) at $129/month, integrations are not powerful enough.

**What problems is Circle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Gives us an approachable, friendly environment in which we can welcome and interact with community members. Livestreams, events, and gated spaces are helpful features to attract and retain members to augment standard community space expectations.
