## Braze Reviews
 ### 1. Intuitive Platform with Room for Improvement

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Alex H. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 23, 2026

**What do you like best about Braze?**

I find Braze to be a really intuitive platform that allows me to efficiently reach our customers, providing them with personalized and relevant communications thanks to Braze’s AI suite. I also appreciate how we can use intelligent timing and channels to deliver the right messages at the right time. The initial setup was very easy even though it was a big project.

**What do you dislike about Braze?**

The email drag and drop functionality is quite basic and makes it difficult to build out visually engaging campaigns without using HTML. The Segment feature often takes a long time to calculate audience figures.

**What problems is Braze solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Braze for sending personalized marketing communications efficiently, reaching users quickly, and understanding their behavior and interests. Its intuitive platform and AI help deliver the right messages at the right time.

 ### 2. Intuitive Canvas and Strong Templating, but the HTML Editor Needs a Preview

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Joanne K. | ANZ CRM/ Lifecycle Marketing Lead, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 30, 2026

**What do you like best about Braze?**

I really like how content is templatised by: email template, content block, in-app message etc.

I like the catalog system where we can draw upon our product dimensions

I like the Braze Canvas Ux and how intuitive it is to craft different audience splits

**What do you dislike about Braze?**

Probably how in the HTML editor, there's no preview of the html you're building

But not much else

**What problems is Braze solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Previously we couldn't really craft omnichannel campaigns where we show someone an email then a push notification and then an in-app modal. NOw that's possible

**Official Response from Andrea Nieto:**

> Thanks for the detailed feedback. It’s great to hear the templating system, catalogs, and Canvas experience are helping you build more sophisticated, coordinated campaigns.

We also appreciate you calling out the need for better preview functionality in the HTML editor. That’s a practical improvement, and your feedback has been shared with the team.

Thanks again for taking the time to share.

 ### 3. Dynamic CRM Capabilities with Room for Improvement

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Gemma T. | Marketing Executive, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 23, 2026

**What do you like best about Braze?**

I like the way Braze allows me to set up a canvas that stays live and automatically updates the segment or sends based on triggers for campaigns like welcome and birthday. I also appreciate the dynamic content updates in emails, and the ability to input unique UTMs for different segments and update the prize amount. The catalogs, although sometimes slow to update, are useful in these processes. Additionally, the initial setup with Braze was smooth with the help of CACI.

**What do you dislike about Braze?**

Catalog sometimes takes a long time to update (hours).

**What problems is Braze solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Braze for CRM, mainly email and push notifications in performance marketing. It helps with effective targeting, re-engagement, and life cycle messaging. I also dynamically update email content and unique UTMs for segments, enhancing our campaign processes.

 ### 4. Intuitive and User-Friendly CRM Solution with Cutting-Edge Features

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** soph h. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 23, 2026

**What do you like best about Braze?**

I find Braze really intuitive and user-friendly, with lots of new features to try out, especially with AI. It has all the features we need to execute our campaigns efficiently. I appreciate how it helps us with personalization, making sure we're sending the right campaigns to the right people at the right time, reducing unsubs and churn. I enjoy testing and learning different campaign paths. The initial setup was easy too.

**What do you dislike about Braze?**

Maybe the AI features are very new, and I need more use cases.

**What problems is Braze solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I find Braze intuitive and user-friendly for our CRM email and push campaigns. It helps with personalization, ensuring campaigns reach the right people at the right time, reducing unsubscribes and churn. I appreciate testing different campaign paths, which aids in optimizing our communication.

 ### 5. Powerful Features, But Onboarding Challenges

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Katie N. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 04, 2026

**What do you like best about Braze?**

I think Braze is pretty user-friendly and it has a nice UI. It has a pretty extensive product road map that is very competitive compared to other companies in the industry. I like Braze's drag and drop campaign canvas builder, and their segmentation tools. I appreciate that it's operationally fast, allowing marketers to iterate quickly without extensive data modeling. Their AI-powered tools and roadmap seem the most helpful to us, and their dashboards offer good event-based reporting and attribution beyond revenue. They also scale well for complex multistep journeys and have lean engineering lift required for ongoing use once the setup is complete.

**What do you dislike about Braze?**

Our experience with the Braze sales team and their onboarding partner Covalent has been pretty bad. They don't really tailor the experience to our company, and as a result, don't effectively support us in a timely manner. Also, Braze's Salesforce integration is not native and costs can grow exponentially as the company scales because of how they charge per message. Their webhook, email, and contact fees are more expensive compared to other companies that offer a more inclusive platform fee.

**What problems is Braze solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Braze lets me orchestrate omnichannel campaigns, syncing with Salesforce and Snowflake. It supports dynamic segmentation, personalized testing, and HIPAA compliance. It allows quick iterations without heavy data modeling and has useful AI tools for inbound communications.

 ### 6. User-Friendly and Efficient Marketing Automation

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Dacio A. | CRM Automation Advisor, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 28, 2026

**What do you like best about Braze?**

I find Braze very user-friendly. Even without a lot of experience with automations or understanding how triggers work, I can easily set up campaigns, create emails, landing pages, and more. The initial setup was very easy, and the support team was really helpful, which makes me very happy.

**What do you dislike about Braze?**

I don't think there is anything that doesn't work well. I would say that sometimes the segments could be a little more technical. Meaning I could create specific segments at the campaign or at the canvas levels, but this doesn't affect our work or experience.

**What problems is Braze solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Braze for email marketing automations, triggered events, forms, and landing pages. It's user-friendly, so even without much automation experience, I can easily set up campaigns and deploy emails.

 ### 7. Seamless Integration with Robust Multichannel Capabilities

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Tamara E. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 23, 2026

**What do you like best about Braze?**

I use Braze for customer journey orchestration and deploying multi-channel campaigns. I like that it allows marketers a user-friendly way to create multichannel journeys. I appreciate the ease of use and how it can seamlessly connect with other platforms in our tech stack, especially with our customer data platform mParticle. This integration enables multi-channel personalization for us, which is a huge benefit.

**What do you dislike about Braze?**

The email editor is not really usable as a drag and drop editor for us. We use another tool for this. The AI Agent functionality is good for asking questions, but ideally, it would be able to take action.

**What problems is Braze solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Braze allows marketers to easily create multichannel journeys and enables seamless integration with our tech stack, especially our customer data platform, for multi-channel personalization.

 ### 8. Efficient Self-Serve Tool with Room for Print Improvements

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Chisoni N. | Senior Communications Executive, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 30, 2026

**What do you like best about Braze?**

I really appreciate the self-serve capabilities of Braze, which allow me to handle the entire process from designing the email to selecting data and actually deploying it. This feature helps me be reactive and timely in my communications. I also like how quick we can deploy communications to our customers with Braze, which was an issue with our previous tool.

**What do you dislike about Braze?**

Not being able to provide a print solution. We don't just need to send emails or SMS to our customers; we also have customers that are non-digital, so we need to serve them with a letter which currently we are unable to do in Braze.

**What problems is Braze solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Braze lets me self-serve and quickly deploy comms to our customers, making us reactive and timely.

 ### 9. Effortless Segmentation, Needs Better Email Builder

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Joanne K. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 27, 2026

**What do you like best about Braze?**

I really like how building segments with Braze is really easy. It's also really easy to create branch splits and handle all the different logic within the canvases, which are really customizable. I like how Braze ingests data so that I can personalize effectively with all the different custom attributes and custom events.

**What do you dislike about Braze?**

This is a bit picky, but in the email building section, we use HTML, and there's, like, one part that is the HTML code and then the right-hand side is just the same thing. Feel like we should have a live HTML render when we're editing the code. That would be helpful.

**What problems is Braze solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Braze to manage daily campaigns and welcome flows smoothly, thanks to its easy segment building.

 ### 10. Multiple channels in one place with lots of capabilities to move data around

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Package/Freight Delivery | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 25, 2022

**What do you like best about Braze?**

Braze is flexible with its endpoints and how you can get the data in and out. Also, I can say that the dashboard is quite simple and always have new features

**What do you dislike about Braze?**

Braze is a large product built for different types of businesses, but it doesn’t feel like it’s really targeting big companies with large MarTech teams. The API options are very narrow, and there aren’t enough programmatic capabilities for a MarTech team that needs more flexibility and control.

**What problems is Braze solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Braze is gathering a lot of teams together in one place. They can send communications to customers, vendors, and internal users. The good thing about Braze is that you can adapt to multiple use cases.

 ### 11. Comprehensive Communication with Ease, But Needs UI Tweaks

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ramez K. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 24, 2026

**What do you like best about Braze?**

I used all the features of Braze to efficiently send out App Pushes, In-App messages, email, SMS, and WhatsApp. I love having all our comms, results, and overviews in one place. I really like the Canvas Builders and its simplicity, which allows us to have an entire journey in one place. It makes it easy for us to check results, make updates, and make adjustments.

**What do you dislike about Braze?**

I would like more ability to change layout. Have different channels to be colored so I can tell difference between SMS, App and Email.

**What problems is Braze solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Braze to centralize our communications, results, and overview in one place. Canvas Builders make it simple to have an entire journey in one spot, easy to check results, make updates, and adjustments.

 ### 12. Responsive Platform with Great UI, Integrations, and Helpful Onboarding

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Adam W. | Media Producer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 24, 2026

**What do you like best about Braze?**

I like the user interface, range of integrations and availability of data that can be exported from the platform. The system is responsive and the onboarding/account management team has been very helpful.

**What do you dislike about Braze?**

It's overall a strong product. One specific issue I have is with the search functionality of segments. I often struggle to find the segments I need even if I enter the exact name of the segment I'm looking for.

**What problems is Braze solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It allows us to communicate with our customers across multiple channels from one Canvas.

 ### 13. User-Friendly CRM with Unique Features

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jamie H. | Patient Communications Engineer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 23, 2026

**What do you like best about Braze?**

I find Braze really unique and quite easy to navigate. It's user-friendly, and I appreciate that you don't have to use everything; you can get additional help if needed. The platform operates with user-friendliness in mind, making it easy even if there are new things I haven't used before.

**What do you dislike about Braze?**

I'd say the aspect of trying to offer you a lot of different work from previous campaign into another one. So unless you've saved it as a content block and stuff before, it's not so easy with the drag and drop option.

**What problems is Braze solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Braze as a CRM network to connect with customers and potential patients. It's user-friendly and helps me easily build specific campaigns by going to the operator for support if needed.

 ### 14. User-friendly / full functionality

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer & Network Security | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 03, 2023

**What do you like best about Braze?**

I use and advocate Braze for email, push notifications and in-app notifications. It is user-friendly, with every functionality available in the right places. If you care about security and a wide range if possibilities for your campaigns, you should try Braze. Addition of AI is also extremely helpful in saving time and getting work done.

**What do you dislike about Braze?**

The reporting aspect could be improved, filtering, etc. as well as the documentation for advanced features. Deleting Canvases/campaigns is a must add. Adding here that changing the interface and platform UI very often is sometimes confusing to adapt to, and it’s difficult to go back.

**What problems is Braze solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Braze solves the ability to automate, send, or schedule in-app/push notifications/content cards for mobile and desktop apps. It is benefiting my team by allowing us to act on triggers, with full personalization.

 ### 15. User-Friendly and Powerful Email Marketing

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** George H. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 23, 2026

**What do you like best about Braze?**

I find Braze very easy to use, thanks to its great journey mapping interface and user-friendly design. The integration with email design platforms allows for seamless syncing. I also appreciate its dynamic capabilities, offering endless opportunities for personalization using rich data, custom attributes and canvas context. It's easy to pick up the skills and pass them on to new team members.

**What do you dislike about Braze?**

Some of the elements used in journeys are a bit fiddly. I also wish there was an option to turn on auto-save.

**What problems is Braze solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Braze is easy to use, offers a great journey mapping interface, and integrates with email platforms for seamless syncing. It simplifies skill transfer to new team members and allows endless personalization opportunities with rich data and custom attributes.

 ### 16. Intuitive and Efficient Omnichannel Solution

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Aimee C. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 14, 2025

**What do you like best about Braze?**

I appreciate Braze for its easy interface and quick sending times, which really help streamline our communications. The platform is intuitive, and I find its powerful capabilities impressive. I also value the fact that Braze offers lots of training modules, which help us get the most out of its features. Being able to use it for emails, push notifications, and content cards is quite beneficial, and it supports our need to be omnichannel.

**What do you dislike about Braze?**

Decisioning Studio - it seems amazing and very powerful but also an expensive add on

**What problems is Braze solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Braze provides an easy interface for sending emails, push notifications, and content cards with quick sending times. It allows us to be omnichannel, offering a seamless experience across multiple channels.

**Official Response from Andrea Nieto:**

> Thanks for the thoughtful feedback. It’s great to hear Braze is helping you streamline communications and deliver a strong omnichannel experience, and that the training resources are supporting your team.

We also appreciate your perspective on Decisioning Studio. Pricing and packaging are important considerations, and your input has been shared with the team.

Thanks again for taking the time to share your experience.

 ### 17. Modern Design with Seamless Data Syncing

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Nathan H. | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 23, 2026

**What do you like best about Braze?**

I really like Braze for its modern design and simplicity. It's efficient for getting new data into Braze, especially with the seamless ability to sync data from Snowflake. This setup helps marketers feel like they're being more innovative simply by using a more modern system. The initial setup of Braze was a breeze, and the data connection was great. Although reformatting the data took some effort, it was definitely worth it.

**What do you dislike about Braze?**

Number event filters for segmentation could be higher. We use a lot of event-driven campaigns, so having a limit on how many event properties can be used for segmentation is limiting.

**What problems is Braze solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Braze allows automated and fluid campaigning, making marketers feel more innovative. It’s efficient for syncing data seamlessly from Snowflake.

 ### 18. Effortless Data Integration, Fast Campaign Adaptation

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jeeves B. | Martech Platform Lead, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 23, 2026

**What do you like best about Braze?**

I like Braze's native capabilities to connect to data lake platforms like GCP. This has been a game changer for the marketing team, enabling them to access more data and action campaigns to adapt to market volatility much more efficiently. While it previously took weeks with Salesforce Marketing Cloud, now the team can adapt in hours. I also found the initial setup process quite efficient with the help of a trusted partner, CACI.

**What do you dislike about Braze?**

Greater flexibility with data model design. Sometimes it is difficult to fit a relational data model into Braze.

**What problems is Braze solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Braze provides access to data for enhanced personalization and quick adaptation of campaigns to market changes, significantly reducing the time from weeks to hours compared to my previous tool.

 ### 19. Brilliant platform with great features

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Consumer Goods | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 11, 2023

**What do you like best about Braze?**

Landing pages are versatile, and with the help of AI, vibe coding is easier than ever to create professional pages. The catalogs feature is also a powerful way to automate content, it has enabled automating content when site changes become live.

**What do you dislike about Braze?**

The integration of AI, and personalisation using drag and drop features could be a great way to create impactful campaigns. The segmentation criteria could be improved to enable enhanced filtering.

**What problems is Braze solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Braze supports campaign delivery whether that be collating the data passed for easy segmentation of audiences, using canvases to create an automated program so campaigns can be created and automatically sent out to consumers 24/7. The integration with Liquid logic has made personalisation easy and the software that detects 'same account' is also very handy for a clean data.

 ### 20. Braze Makes Marketing Orchestration Easy and Enjoyable

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Martin F. | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 23, 2026

**What do you like best about Braze?**

I've been using Braze since the app boy days and i've purposely taken on new employment because i know the company uses Braze for their CRM.

Braze makes marketing orchestration really easy, from canvas to the drag and drop email editors, campaigns and journeys can generally enjoyable to set up.

The CSM are also really helpful, assisting with campaign set up and also informing us of new releases or features that would be good for us to use.

**What do you dislike about Braze?**

Some of the additional features come at a cost.

**What problems is Braze solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We're currently going through a phase of getting more and usable data points/attributes to use for personalsation and segmentation, this will allow us to create meaningful and impactful campaigns and journey

 ### 21. Real-Time Data and Powerful Segmentation for Personalized Cross-Channel Engagement

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Angelos C. | Co-Founder, Non-Profit Organization Management, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 13, 2026

**What do you like best about Braze?**

What I value most about Braze is its real-time data capabilities and powerful segmentation, enabling highly personalized, cross-channel engagement at scale. It provides strong automation and API flexibility, making it effective for driving measurable lifecycle impact.

**What do you dislike about Braze?**

Braze can present a steep learning curve for new users, particularly when configuring complex segmentation and automation flows. Additionally, advanced customization and reporting often require deeper technical involvement, which can increase operational overhead for non-technical teams.

**What problems is Braze solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Braze addresses fragmented customer communication by centralizing data, segmentation, and cross-channel engagement within a single platform. It enables real-time, behavior-driven messaging, reducing manual campaign management and improving targeting accuracy. This drives stronger customer engagement, higher conversion rates, and more measurable lifecycle performance.

 ### 22. 81 / 5.000 Autonomy for marketing to create campaigns and automations with intelligent features.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Maiara N. | Supervisora de Martech, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 05, 2026

**What do you like best about Braze?**

I appreciate the autonomy the marketing team has to create campaigns and automations with intelligent features, requiring less technical intervention.

**What do you dislike about Braze?**

The fact that the staff is mostly foreign makes it difficult to provide customer service.
The cost is also quite high compared to competitors, which is a negative point in Brazil, as it cannot be competitive in its offering.

**What problems is Braze solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Scaling our marketing efforts across diverse communication channels and formats, especially within the app, was key. Our biggest challenge was working with in-app communications, and with Braze we were able to significantly improve in a short time with push notifications, in-app messages, and content cards.

 ### 23. Effortless Multi-Channel Campaigns, Needs Improved Setup

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Tim G. | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 23, 2026

**What do you like best about Braze?**

I like how Braze offers an easy way to find what I need and adapt. I also appreciate the Analytics Studio for being quick and easy to get meaningful results to share with the business.

**What do you dislike about Braze?**

It needs an auto-save function for the canvas, and when you edit an email template, it would be great to be able to save straight away. The setup was challenging since it wasn't done by Braze but by another party, CACI, who were hard to work with.

**What problems is Braze solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Braze for marketing emails and SMS, which simplifies running multi-channel campaigns. It's easy to find what I need and adapt, plus the Analytics Studio quickly delivers meaningful results to share with the business.

**Official Response from Andrea Nieto:**

> Thanks for sharing your experience. It’s great to hear Braze is helping you run multi-channel campaigns efficiently and that Analytics Studio is delivering quick, actionable insights.

We also appreciate your feedback on autosave functionality and the setup experience. We know how important a smooth onboarding and workflow experience is, and your input has been shared with the team as we continue to make improvements in these areas.

Thanks again for taking the time to provide feedback.

I like the usability, functionality, and interface of Braze; it's intuitive, easy on the eye, and makes it simple to do complex things. This allows us to contact the right people with the right message at the right time.

**What do you dislike about Braze?**

Maybe canvases in flow numbers reporting. Clearer indications of who is where.

**What problems is Braze solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Braze helps personalize communications, reaching the right people at the right time and channel. It has an intuitive interface that's visually pleasing and simplifies complex tasks, enhancing usability and functionality.

 ### 25. Cost-Effective CRM Solution with Strong Support

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Rachel M. | Head of CRM, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 23, 2026

**What do you like best about Braze?**

I like Braze's really easy interface to understand and their great customer support. I'm excited about their advancements in AI tools. I enjoy the great training events that help me understand new product launches, which keep up with technological advancements like AI. The segment builder for SMSs, predictive sending times, and subject line builder help to keep costs down.

**What do you dislike about Braze?**

Better analytic tools would be great - so I simply ask things like “build me a dashboard to show time taken to convert in this particular canvas”.

**What problems is Braze solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Braze simplifies CRM tasks like email, SMS, and push notifications. It excels at scheduling, predicting, and analyzing. The segment builder, predictive sending times, and subject line builder help keep costs down.

**What do you like best about Braze?**

It’s very easy to use and puts everything right at your fingertips. It still performs well at a high scale, even when you’re working with lots of data points. I also like the AI features, such as Braze AI Agent and Decision Making Studio, and how they let you create campaigns through them. Onboarding is straightforward, and getting the practitioner exam really helps.

**What do you dislike about Braze?**

Coming from an energy company, I sometimes find it a bit too simplistic for our very complex organization.

**What problems is Braze solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our previous platform constantly ran into issues and didn’t perform well at scale, whereas Braze has been much more reliable for us. On top of that, our marketers find it significantly easier to use.

 ### 27. Efficient Campaign Automation with Room for Improvement

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Will M. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 23, 2026

**What do you like best about Braze?**

I really like that the user interface of Braze is easy to use. The API endpoints are also a strong point for me, as they simplify automation, allowing us to trigger campaigns from our backend servers at scale. This lets us build audiences on the fly in our own system and then send them to Braze for delivery. I also find the campaign analytics feature valuable, as well as the overall setup process, which was very easy.

**What do you dislike about Braze?**

Not all things are covered by API endpoints, I’d like to be able to create campaigns via API for example.

**What problems is Braze solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Braze for automating campaigns, sending large amounts of communications at scale with filtering and frequency capping.

**Official Response from Andrea Nieto:**

> Thanks for the detailed feedback. It’s great to hear the UI, API capabilities, and analytics are helping you scale and automate campaigns effectively.

We also appreciate you pointing out the need for expanded API functionality, particularly around campaign creation. That kind of specificity is incredibly helpful as we continue to evolve the platform and we’ve shared your input with the product team.

Thanks again for sharing your experience.

 ### 28. Best in class CRM suite

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Financial Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 29, 2025

**What do you like best about Braze?**

Braze has the most intuitive interface of any CRM suite I've used in my career. The growing feature set is impressive, the support is excellent, and managing in Braze has substantially elevated our Lifecycle experiences.

**What do you dislike about Braze?**

Braze Segmentation needs quite a bit of work. Having to use CDP tools like Segment or High touch is almost a necessity because some basic segmentation tools that should exist in Braze simply do not. I hope audience creation and segmentation improves over the next year.

**What problems is Braze solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Braze allows us to manage all three of our consumer applications under one roof with sophisticated journey-building and personalization. Most of our instances are now built in automations and triggering canvases.

 ### 29. Powerful CRM Tool with Room for Improvement

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Scott M. | Senior Technical CRM Executive, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 23, 2026

**What do you like best about Braze?**

I like the proactive approach on AI tools of Braze, but I enjoy the journey building and user insights it offers. It solves our complex user journey and allows us to segment and personalize our journeys better. Even though it was very complicated and hard to set up, the onboarding team at Braze helped us a lot, making the initial setup easier to handle.

**What do you dislike about Braze?**

It loads slowly and is very limited on reporting. The canvas builder UI could be better and easier to use, especially in 2026. The initial setup was very complicated and hard to set up.

**What problems is Braze solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Braze solves our complex user journey issues, allowing us to segment and personalize journeys effectively.

**Official Response from Andrea Nieto:**

> Thank you for the detailed feedback, it’s great to hear Braze is helping you manage complex customer journeys and deliver more personalized experiences, and that the onboarding team was able to support you through setup.

We also take your feedback seriously around performance, reporting, and the Canvas experience. These are important areas, and your input has been shared with the team as we continue to improve usability and overall platform responsiveness.

We appreciate you taking the time to share your experience.

 ### 30. Easy-to-Use Canvases and Drag-and-Drop Journeys for Personalization and A/B Testing

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Leisure, Travel & Tourism | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 23, 2026

**What do you like best about Braze?**

Very easy to use, I like canvases and the drag and drop function. Easy to use data to personalise and trigger journeys. Easy to use experiment paths to set up AB tests.

**What do you dislike about Braze?**

There are some obvious functionalities or views missing that are seemingly obvious, small things that cause daily frustrations. I submit them as product improvements but never seem to hear back on those. Eg I wish in send settings we could select different opt in settings for each channel.
Also, more than once we’ve had strange volume drops in important journeys which have gone undetected for weeks or months - I wish there was an automatic alert system in place to flag when this happens. And, our braze technical support team often doesn’t seem able to find answers on why it’s happened.

**What problems is Braze solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Using custom events to trigger realtime communications to our customers when they take action on our site such as viewing a destination. Increased revenue and bookings and improved customer experience.

 ### 31. Probably the best customer engagement tool out there

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kristijan A.

**Reviewed Date:** February 06, 2026

**What do you like best about Braze?**

I use Braze for a lot of things as a lifecycle marketing manager, and it's been really helpful. It activates newly registered users for our app, helps engage them, and ensures they discover all the features of the Lifesum app. It plays a big role in retention by making sure users come back and use the app for a long time. I find it probably most important for targeting free users with the right offers at the right time & channel to try and convert them into premium paying members. Plus, segmentation is a major help in making sure we find the right users for specific campaigns. We base this on their lifecycle stage, geography, demographics, or even specifics like BMI or gender. We also do a lot of segmentation for users from our B2B partners, kind of like account-based marketing. I think that the implementation setup was pretty straightforward; I wasn't part of the company back then. but from what I've heard, it took them about two months for the full setup. I'd say Braze is probably the best customer engagement software I've personally worked with.

**What do you dislike about Braze?**

The email editing tools are still not first class as Braze was originally mobile-first so it's lagging a bit behind competitors who started out as email-first - however they've been working a lot on improving this area of the product. Also reporting wise, you still need to rely on external tools like Amplitude or Mixpanel to get the full picture, however, same as email, lots of improvements have happened there lately.

**What problems is Braze solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Braze for segmentation, setting up campaigns, and building canvases. It helps activate and engage users, improves retention, and targets free users to convert them into premium members. Segmentation ensures finding the right users for specific campaigns based on their lifecycle stage, geography, or demographics.

 ### 32. Revolutionizing Client Strategy with Seamless AI Integration and Support

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Shana H. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 08, 2025

**What do you like best about Braze?**

I like the speed of development of Braze's road map and how quickly they can respond to the industry and be at the forefront. A key example is the work Braze is doing to bring AI into the platform, which completely changes how we use it. These developments are really valuable because they help us get more junior people skilled up quicker with the operator working with them. The efficiency means we're freed up to spend more time helping clients put together suitable strategies and use cases, and the actual execution of those is much quicker.

**What do you dislike about Braze?**

Nothing.

**What problems is Braze solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Braze allows me to create sophisticated personalized journeys, pushing boundaries with gamification and multichannel abilities.

 ### 33. Effortless Campaign Management with Powerful Features and Stellar Support

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Marketing and Advertising | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**What do you like best about Braze?**

1. Ease of Use
Braze’s interface is intuitive, making campaign setup and execution smooth even for new users.

2. Ease of Implementation
The platform is straightforward to implement, with clear documentation and minimal onboarding complexity.

3. Customer Support
Braze’s support team is responsive, knowledgeable, and quick to assist with both technical and strategic queries.

4. Frequency of Use
The tool is reliable for daily use, supporting continuous campaign development, QA, and optimization.

5. Number of Features
Braze provides a rich feature set—from segmentation to Canvas flows and personalization—enabling advanced use cases.

6. Ease of Integration
Integration with other systems and data sources is seamless, allowing smooth cross-channel campaign execution.

**What do you dislike about Braze?**

1. Some advanced features have a learning curve, requiring time and practice to fully utilize.

2. The platform can feel overwhelming at first due to the wide range of functionalities.

**What problems is Braze solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Braze streamlines cross-channel campaign creation, personalization, and user targeting. It helps reduce manual effort, improves campaign accuracy, and enables faster execution with better audience engagement.

 ### 34. Intuitive and Efficient, But Time Zone Needs Improvement

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Toni V. | CRM Marketing Manager, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 23, 2026

**What do you like best about Braze?**

I love that Braze makes complex tasks easy and is easy to learn. It's always a plus having an AI operator to help resolve issues when I get stuck. I really appreciate how quick and dynamic the email building features are, allowing for highly personalized content. Braze's intuitiveness is another standout, as it makes things quicker and simplifies my workflow. Additionally, the initial setup of Braze for my team was great.

**What do you dislike about Braze?**

The time zone. We’re now in BST but Braze doesn’t change and won’t adapt in each workspace per region.

**What problems is Braze solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I find Braze makes complex tasks easy, quickens my workflow with its intuitive design, and allows for highly dynamic, personalized email builds.

 ### 35. One of the best all around marketing automation platform

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Moran C. | CRM & Email Marketing Automation Consultant, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 24, 2023

**What do you like best about Braze?**

One of the best in the category after working on other platforms such as Hubspot, Pardot, IBM Marketing Cloud, and Mailchimp. Oracle Responsys

Straightforward and intuitive UI

Excellent ability to create segments and filters, combine them and use them for sending lists, filters or triggers

Many advanced scheduling and AB testing options

Easy to use journey editor

Works with liquid programming language to create complex logic

Ability to create Braze-to-Braze API calls that update segments, create custom events and allow a lot of flexibility based on the existing custom fields without a need for a business analyst or a front-end coder

**What do you dislike about Braze?**

The IDE experience lacks more specific errors notification and logging

The canvas experience can improve its overall conversion dashboard since canvas doesn't have a delay function as campaigns; you let users enter and start the flow only after a time delay. But they are counted for the conversion, although they didn't go through the flow

Braze-to-Braze API should become more simplified and productized. Currently, "update contact" on the canvas is only allowing to update of custom fields and not default fields or allow simple calculations

Everything else is damn good

**What problems is Braze solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Ability to work efficiently with custom events as triggers, calculate them and act upon their data payload in a very useful way.
It is the fastest and easiest I have seen.

 ### 36. I would recommend Braze to someone who is looking for Customer Engagement Platform.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Māris P. | Data Engineer, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 15, 2023

**What do you like best about Braze?**

It’s easy to use, flexible, and offers a broad range of functionality.

**What do you dislike about Braze?**

I don’t have any active gripes, aside from a few minor things that feel more like personal pet peeves than real issues.

**What problems is Braze solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Braze solves the problem or marketing channel automation, be it SMS, Push Notifications, or Emails. Just keep the data updated and the rest will work well.
It is as strong as your data is and with how easy it is to load new data into Braze, the possibilities are plentiful.

 ### 37. Easy Email Design, Poor Integrations

**Rating:** 1.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Vanya B. | Sr Marketing Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 07, 2026

**What do you like best about Braze?**

I like Braze's ability to send easy-to-design emails across segments. The UI is very modern and user-friendly, which makes it easy to use, especially since I have to work across different teams to send emails without needing someone technical to create the visuals. Additionally, I find the feature for monitoring metrics across sends quite valuable.

**What do you dislike about Braze?**

Terrible integrations. There is no native integration with Salesforce. If you are a B2B company as well, this platform will not work for your business. Awful initial setup took 4 months.

**What problems is Braze solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Braze allows me to easily design and send emails across segments, making it user-friendly even without technical help. I can also monitor metrics across sends effectively due to its modern and intuitive UI.

**Official Response from Andrea Nieto:**

> Thank you for sharing your experience, we’re glad to hear the intuitive UI and email design capabilities are helping you collaborate across teams and execute campaigns more efficiently.

We also take your feedback on integrations and the onboarding experience seriously. We understand how critical these areas are, especially for more complex environments, and we’re continuously working to improve both connectivity and time-to-value. Your input has been shared with our teams.

We appreciate your candid feedback, it plays an important role in how we continue to improve.

 ### 38. Decent CRM Tool with Room for Improvement

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Lawrence C. | B2B Growth Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 23, 2026

**What do you like best about Braze?**

Yeah, the canvases in Braze are pretty good. I just make pretty complex canvases at the back of it that are triggered based on the data in there.

**What do you dislike about Braze?**

Yeah. Two core things on that is one, you can't search for data. You have to know the exact email address or unique identifier. It's user ID, whereas you should be able to just look at the data rather than export it. And second thing, the date is, like, singular layered. So you can't have nested data, which would be very, very valuable.

**What problems is Braze solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Braze allows us to send marketing emails like any other CRM platform. It's a decent tool for creating good campaigns.

**Official Response from Andrea Nieto:**

> Thanks for sharing your feedback We’re glad to hear Braze is supporting your ability to build and run more complex campaigns.

We also appreciate you highlighting challenges around data accessibility and structure. Being able to easily explore data and support more flexible models is important, and we’ve shared your input with the team as we continue to evolve these capabilities.

Thanks again for your candid perspective, it helps us identify where we need to improve.

 ### 39. Excellent Real-Time Customer Engagement, Needs Template Improvement

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Eduardo B. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 27, 2026

**What do you like best about Braze?**

I like the personalization options, the connected content, and the content cards in Braze. The fact that it operates in real time is a huge plus. These features provide a unique experience and add more touchpoints to customer interaction that other CRMs don't offer. It's also personal and feels very close, creating a natural interaction with customers.

**What do you dislike about Braze?**

I would say that drag and drop templates should be improved. They should be easier for marketers to do this job, but we, CRM and marketing operations people, usually need to help, especially when creating more complicated campaigns. So I think the drag and drop should definitely improve.

**What problems is Braze solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I find Braze solves the problem of emailing customers across different marketplaces and languages with ease, providing real-time interaction.

 ### 40. Effortless Email Customization with Intuitive Drag-and-Drop

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Hannah S. | Email Marketing Specialist, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 11, 2025

**What do you like best about Braze?**

I like how easy Braze is to use! The drag and drop feature is super easy to use and lets me customize my emails how I want. I am on braze on every day and build and launch emails often! Was super easy to learn how to use and it is much better than an old email platform I used to use.

**What do you dislike about Braze?**

I would love it if there was a way to easily convert HTML templates to drag and drop. In trying to switch my emails from html to drag and drop, and cannot get exact specifications to be the same and it is quite frustrating.

**What problems is Braze solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Being able to build canvas' and select when a user receives a email. For us, we use it to build and launch emails to users. It is super helpful to test emails!

 ### 41. Streamlined Customer Journeys with Intuitive Insights

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Georgina J. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 23, 2026

**What do you like best about Braze?**

Braze is a good platform for sending communications, and the user profile data is intuitive to use, making customers feel real. It makes using and executing complex customer journeys easier for our team and speeds up execution timelines. I think the canvas step features are really useful, and the intelligent tools are very useful. We use context to personalize and transform data points.

**What do you dislike about Braze?**

I think sometimes the data visibility could be improved: things like being able to see all possible values for attributes within nested objects.

**What problems is Braze solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Braze simplifies sending communications with user-friendly customer profiles. It eases executing complex customer journeys, speeding up timelines and enhances personalization with its context tools.

 ### 42. Empowers Team Collaboration and Enhanced Campaign Strategy

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sola K.

**Reviewed Date:** February 01, 2026

**What do you like best about Braze?**

I love how well we can collaborate remotely but also in person. About every other year or so, we do a Braze Hackathon with members from the NBC organization and Braze to tackle important ideas for the next year. It's always fun to brainstorm ideas and work with a team who can turn visions into reality, which is really exciting. I also really like the email builder tool and the new AI decision tools. The AI tools are great because they help us make decisions by using real-time data, allowing us to quickly translate numbers into tangible next steps. This is particularly helpful for our audiences team.

**What do you dislike about Braze?**

I think it would be really nice to have a basic, super basic level 101-esque course on how Braze works — before we even get into how the team uses it. I wonder how much of the new team members' understanding is true understanding and how much is trial by error or a 'monkey see, monkey do' situation. I haven’t found tutorials on our side to be especially helpful

**What problems is Braze solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Braze saves us from building emails in-house, letting us customize campaigns easily and provides valuable content analysis and audience data that aid in understanding the consumer lifecycle, boosting subscription retention.

 ### 43. Effective for Multi-Skill Users, Needs Better Integration Support

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Alice W. | Global CRM Lead

**Reviewed Date:** April 25, 2026

**What do you like best about Braze?**

I like that Braze can be used by users with many different skill levels for various marketing and in-app messaging tasks. The Campaigns & Canvases feature is particularly valuable as it allows us to send personalized content to nudge customers effectively.

**What do you dislike about Braze?**

A fair bit of dev support required. We require a lot from our in-house tech teams re integration. This can make new things slow to be delivered by us. It was rushed which is why we have gaps in our integration.

**What problems is Braze solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Braze lets us communicate directly with customers and is accessible for users of all skill levels. It helps us send personalized content through Campaigns & Canvases.

 ### 44. Empowers Marketing with Ease, Needs Analytics Upgrade

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Harvey H. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 23, 2026

**What do you like best about Braze?**

I like Braze's easy-to-use UI and its integrated features that allow us to solve complex issues easily. I also appreciate the integrations within our tech stack that enable seamless data transfer. These features power our marketing efforts by allowing us to deliver personalized campaigns at scale.

**What do you dislike about Braze?**

While the UI is clear to use for front-end tasks, the Analytics features could be more rigorous and display elements such as statistical significance.

**What problems is Braze solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Braze for fulfilling marketing campaigns, delivering them at scale and allowing seamless data transfer through our tech stack. The easy-to-use UI and integrated features help solve complex issues and power our marketing efforts with personalized campaigns.

 ### 45. Intuitive Platform with Room for Navigation Improvements

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Lydia T. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 23, 2026

**What do you like best about Braze?**

I like the intuitive platform of Braze, especially when building reports. I use these reports to make further decisions on the timing, recipients, and content of the communications I send. While I haven't had much time to explore them, the AI features in Braze look interesting to me.

**What do you dislike about Braze?**

Navigation between canvases and messaging is sometimes difficult. Additionally, advanced filtering is not automatically filtering to active campaigns, and the search page could be clearer and less busy.

**What problems is Braze solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Braze for sending emails, push notifications, and SMS, which helps in creating customer segments, optimizing sends, and streamlining journeys. The intuitive platform aids in building reports to guide communication decisions.

 ### 46. Intuitive Platform with Great Customer Support

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ella W. | Senior CRM Manager, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 23, 2026

**What do you like best about Braze?**

I find Braze incredibly intuitive and easy to set up journeys. The interface is really user-friendly, and it offers many capabilities to create as sophisticated a system as I need. I appreciate the great customer service, which is bolstered by the events, documentation, and customer success teams. It's also really easy to find documentation to help if I get stuck.

**What do you dislike about Braze?**

Some types of reporting are somewhat limited. And some of the segmentation rules could be more flexible.

**What problems is Braze solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Braze helps my team send personalized email blasts and automate messaging across different channels based on customer behavior. Setting up journeys is intuitive with its user-friendly interface and extensive capabilities.

 ### 47. Driving Smarter Customer Engagement Through Automation

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Grecia L. | Email Marketing & Marketing Automation Specialist , Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 05, 2025

**What do you like best about Braze?**

What stands out about Braze is its ability to seamlessly combine robust automation with personalized customer experiences across multiple channels. The platform’s user-friendly design makes it easy to build sophisticated customer journeys that respond dynamically to user behavior. Real-time analytics give me immediate feedback, enabling quick adjustments to boost engagement. This combination of flexibility and insight allows me to deliver timely, relevant messages that truly resonate with my audience.

**What do you dislike about Braze?**

The onboarding process could be smoother, as the extensive features and options can feel overwhelming initially. A more structured and interactive onboarding experience would be helpful for getting new users up to speed quickly. Also, while advanced segmentation options are powerful, they sometimes require a steep learning curve to master fully, which can slow down campaign execution.

**What problems is Braze solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Braze solves the problem of scattered customer data and disconnected communications by centralizing interactions and automating personalized messaging across email, push, and in-app channels. This simplifies the management of complex customer journeys and reduces the manual effort needed for segmentation. As a result, I can deliver more relevant content faster, improving customer retention and driving higher conversion rates without getting bogged down in technical details.

 ### 48. I've used various CRM platforms, but Braze is the best one

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Food & Beverages | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 13, 2023

**What do you like best about Braze?**

I like that it's very immediate to understand, and that you feel supported by its team if you were to ask for further clarifications. I like its implementations, and its numerous features, and integrations that help everyone do their job in the best way possible. Lately I’ve really liked how Braze is leaning into AI—it feels less like manual journey building and more like smart decisioning that adapts in real time. I use braze on a daily basis, and it's always very fast, even when heavy projects are on the website.

**What do you dislike about Braze?**

It could be more clear in the html structure. Reporting/analytics still feel a bit limited unless you export data elsewhere.

**What problems is Braze solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It's definitely reducing stress and hustle!

 ### 49. Effortless Campaign Management with Stellar Visual Tools

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Gaelle M. | Senior CRM Marketing Executive, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 24, 2026

**What do you like best about Braze?**

I love creating visual complex journeys through the easy canvas tool. I can pull audiences really easily and see how each user interacts with the different steps in the journey. I find the ease of setting up complex journeys with multiple steps, A/B tests, and personalized interaction particularly impressive. Also, the initial setup of Braze was very smooth and much faster than running campaigns on our old CRM.

**What do you dislike about Braze?**

Reporting + data integration

**What problems is Braze solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Braze helps communicate with customers in a timely, personalized manner across multiple channels. I love creating complex journeys easily with the canvas tool and the ease of setting up A/B tests and personalized interactions.

 ### 50. User Friendly!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Internet | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 15, 2022

**What do you like best about Braze?**

Braze continues to be user-friendly and easy to navigate.

**What do you dislike about Braze?**

My previous response still stands. I'd love to see more attractive templates and make sure they're customizable. I would like to see more data - date is everything, so as precise as we can get with our user journey. (like even what sections of our email do our users linger on)

**Recommendations to others considering Braze:**

Use the L.A.B. resource. It offers learning materials on how to get the best experience out of using Braze.

**What problems is Braze solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The ease of having emails automated through Braze is wonderful for our company's reoccurring campaigns. Braze makes my email sends easy and effortless as I am able to upload my content, test and send within 20 minutes!
