"Versatile Cross-Channel Marketing with Some Learning Curves"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Braze?

I like Braze for its DND (Drag and Drop) email development, which makes creating emails straightforward. The Liquid scripting is great for personalization, allowing me to customize emails with customer names. The Canvas feature supports multi-channel campaigns efficiently. I appreciate the reusable templates and modules, which save me time in creating new campaigns. Additionally, the advanced features and flexibility were key reasons for switching to Braze, and the initial setup was simple to manage. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Braze?

Debugging Liquid issues can be a bit of a hassle. Also, the personalization preview and test feature could be improved, as well as the custom segmentation options. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Unified Channels, Precision Engagement"
4/5
What do you like best about Braze?

I love how Braze has united our applications, logins, and event data so a fan's full history is in a single view, making the consolidation invaluable to me. I appreciate the precision in carving out the right audience and delivering the right message at the right moment. The approachability of Braze's interface really stands out, allowing me to build campaigns unaided. I find the integrations straightforward, which helps our data team incorporate Braze into our wider reporting. I also value Braze's timing intelligence, which schedules messages to land when fans are most likely to engage, boosting response rates for our campaigns. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Braze?

I find the content cards limiting because they don't support HTML, which restricts us when we want richer, polished creative. I also found the initial installation challenging, as it required significant involvement from our product and development colleagues. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Good API integrations and helpful AI copy support, but not as seamless as others"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Braze?

They’re really good to have, and they make it easy to connect APIs so you can bring in other parts of the business. It definitely helps teams coordinate customer engagement across channels, and the AI helped with creating copy. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Braze?

It is not as seemless and appealing as some others out there. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Effective Targeting with Room for UI Improvement"
3.5/5
What do you like best about Braze?

I use Braze mainly for customer engagement and communications, and it really helps in managing customer communications easily. I like how it allows us to send targeted messages and track user engagement in one place. The best thing about Braze is that it makes it easy to create targeted campaigns and reach users with the right messages at the right time. This saves us time by helping to target the right users with relevant messages, which improves engagement and makes campaigns more effective. The initial setup was very easy and took little time to configure integrations and get everything working properly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Braze?

I find the interface can feel a bit complex at times, and I think some campaign setup and reporting could be more straightforward. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Strong scheduling, performance, and audience insights, but multi-language is hard to manage"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Braze?

Scheduling, Campaign Performance, and Audience Insights feel indispensable. Without them, it would significantly reduce our ability to deliver timely, targeted campaigns, demonstrate their effectiveness, and continually optimise customer engagement. Personalization is usually timely and relevant, and the AI-powered decisioning and optimization has been a significant improvement in which message or experience customers receive. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Braze?

Multi-Language can be frustrating to manage, particularly when campaigns require frequent updates. Maintaining multiple language versions adds complexity, increases administration time, and creates a greater risk of inconsistencies. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"So many features"
5/5
What do you like best about Braze?

There are so many amazing features and automations that make it so much easier to focus on strategy instead of creating every campaign for every user one by one. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Braze?

the email editor is a little basic but it works really well. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Easy targeting and setup for messaging, with helpful AI for complex SQL querying"
4/5
What do you like best about Braze?

It is easier to target and easy to set up for all the messaging activities in Braze. Segmentation, email marketing, and campaign analysis work well for me. Personalization has felt consistently timely and relevant, and with the help of liquid logic it is easier. AI helps a lot in querying in Braze, when you want to work on complex SQL it is as cakewalk to get the information and required tables. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Braze?

I did not see much in content optimization, it could have been done better. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Streamlines day-to-day marketing and helps track reach and performance"
4/5
What do you like best about Braze?

Braze does an excellent job of streamlining the day-to-day marketing management activities while making it easy to see exactly how many folks you're reaching and how well. It’s also done really well coordinating engagement across both mobile and desktop interactions, and between logged-in and anonymous sessions. The built-in AI agent makes reading and adjusting the default dashboard charts much easier. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Braze?

In the end, the TCO ended up being similar to another CRM package even though initially the price was lower Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Effortless Customer Engagement with Braze"
5/5
What do you like best about Braze?

I really like that Braze is very easy to use and set up. It's great for tracking engagement, like seeing who opened the message or clicked on a link, which helps us understand customer interactions. I appreciate how it automatically sends out messages like welcomes or reminders, saving us the time it would take to do it manually. Additionally, Braze helps maintain relationships with customers by making smart decisions on whether to send an SMS, email, or a message, and it integrates well with our system. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Braze?

There isn't anything I can think of that I dislike about Braze. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Key part of our customer engagement ecosystem across brands and channels"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Braze?

Braze is a key part of our customer engagement and marketing automation ecosystem, supporting multiple brands, markets, and communication channels. The Data Import & Export Tools help us synchronize customer data, behavioral events, and segmentation across internal systems for more accurate targeting, personalized campaigns, and data-driven decisions. The Integration APIs are essential for connecting with our CRM, trading platforms, analytics tools, and communication providers, and for real-time event tracking, automated customer journeys, and consistent messaging across Push, SMS, Email, and In-App. I also like the customization, since it lets us adapt campaigns, user journeys, and communication logic to different brands, regulatory requirements, languages, and customer segments. The AI helped writing queries and also helps to analyze data, and the AI-powered decisioning and optimization has been a significant improvement in which message or experience customers receive. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Braze?

The AI is only moderately accurate and consistent, and it is not always clear when I am interacting with AI vs. rules-based logic or a human. When the AI makes a mistake, it is not that easy to catch and correct, and the controls and explanations around what data the AI can access and why it produced a specific result could be clearer.
