"Intuitive UI, one stop solution for all your CRM communications. Needs Improved Reporting."
What do you like best about Braze?

I find Braze incredibly user-friendly, with its simple and intuitive UI, especially compared to other tools I've used like Salesforce. The guided tour is a great help for onboarding. Braze serves as a one-stop solution for multi-channel communications including email, push notifications, SMS, and more, which simplifies managing campaigns for engagement and retention. The AI-driven messaging is very effective for segmentation and driving conversions. The canvas builder and campaign builder are among the most useful features, along with its ability to integrate with analytics platforms like Snowflake and Google Analytics. Its comprehensive nature makes it ideal for all communication needs. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Braze?

I think the reporting is not that good. I would love to have more options, such as more pivot tables, more automations in terms of scheduling reports, and trends and graphs for my campaigns, which I can schedule and send to stakeholders. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Visual Canvas Enhances User Comms, Localization Needs Work"
What do you like best about Braze?

I appreciate the visual aspect of Braze's canvas, which makes it easy to see what the user journey looks like. This feature enhances my ability to manage and strategize communication across the entire user lifecycle effectively. Additionally, I like how straightforward it is to segment users and build lists, which allows me to seamlessly personalize and target communications. This capability is further enhanced by the integration with Amplitude, providing a robust framework for data-driven decisions and analytics. Overall, these features of Braze streamline my processes and improve my productivity in executing CRM tasks like email, text, and in-app notifications. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Braze?

I find the localization process in Braze to be very messy. The integration with Smartling hasn't been consistent, which causes disruptions. Additionally, when we attempt to make edits, especially on a live canvas, we often encounter errors. This forces us to try various redundant actions, such as clicking around blindly, just to successfully execute a launch. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Powerful CRM with Comprehensive Channel Integration"
What do you like best about Braze?

I am really impressed with Braze because it's a comprehensive solution to address CRM issues, especially through its extensive analytics and marketing functionalities. What I love most is the versatility and range of communication channels it offers, including WhatsApp, SMS, and email, which enables a more robust and diversified outreach strategy than just relying on email alone. Additionally, the integration of push notifications and in-app messaging, which some other CRMs treat as separate, are conveniently housed within Braze. This consolidation makes the creation of marketing flows significantly more efficient, especially important during high-traffic periods like Black Friday. The ability to leverage a multi-touchpoint model through Braze is powerful and contributes greatly to its effectiveness. Furthermore, Braze's robust compatibility with other tools, such as AMP Amplitude, enhances its effectiveness for analytics purposes. Overall, Braze seems to have everything I need for both analytics and marketing, making it a brilliant choice for managing customer relationships. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Braze?

I think Braze could improve its educational resources. Currently, many courses require signing up and paying for access, which can be a barrier to learning the platform effectively. There could be more free resources specifically on how to use the tool. Additionally, the case studies provided are a bit too broad for practical application. I'd appreciate having example funnels that are already built, which I could then tweak according to my needs. This would be a significant improvement in making the tool more accessible and understandable. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Advanced CRM for your app and web product"
What do you like best about Braze?

Braze is an excellent choice among customer engagement platforms: primarily due to its exceptional focus on multi-channel orchestration, powerful personalization capabilities, and robust data infrastructure. If your business is focusing on creating customer-friendly communication and engagement, Braze is a great option. I appreciate the quality of support and communication.

In essence, what I like the most about Braze is its comprehensive approach to customer engagement. It's not just a tool for sending messages and push notifications; it's a strategic platform for understanding your customers, acting on real-time data, and building meaningful, lasting relationships.

I appreciate the quality of support and communication. I find the learning base and courses from Braze very helpful, so any team member can gain in-depth knowledge about Braze, from data usage to campaign setup. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Braze?

I don't find helpful pop-ups that appear in the middle of the screen, which promote events and changes. It would be nice to make them less disruptive. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Worked at Blinkist as CRM campaign Manager"
What do you like best about Braze?

What I like most about Braze is how flexible and powerful it is once everything is set up. The platform gives you a very clear overview of campaigns, segments, and user journeys, and it’s easy to collaborate across teams. The Canvas builder is especially helpful, it allows you to experiment, iterate, and A/B test without breaking anything. I also appreciate how well Braze integrates with data teams, making it simple to scale personalisation and run more complex lifecycle automations. Overall, it’s a tool that really supports creative CRM ideas while staying very data-driven. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Braze?

The platform can feel overwhelming at first, especially for teams that are new to CRM or don’t have strong technical support in place. Some features require more steps than expected, and onboarding new colleagues takes time. Documentation is good, but certain workflows could be more intuitive, especially when it comes to organising assets and keeping track of what’s active, paused, or outdated. I would also love to see improvements in how AI features are surfaced directly inside the tool, so you don’t need to rely on external prompt management as much. "Effortless In-App Surveys with High Engagement and Reliable Delivery"
What do you like best about Braze?

Braze has been an effective tool for delivering in-app surveys through our consumer app. Even though I'm not using the full breadth of its features, the platform excels in the areas that matter most for simple, high-engagement survey distribution.

What I like most:

-Easy to build and deploy: Creating surveys through in-app messages is straightforward and fast. The drag-and-drop editor makes it simple to spin up new messages without looping in engineering.

-Great targeting controls: We can target specific audiences or behaviors, which helps us reach the right users at the right time and improves survey response rates.

-High engagement: Because the surveys appear natively in-app, we see significantly better completion compared to email or push surveys.

-Reliable delivery: Messages fire consistently based on the rules and triggers we’ve set — no issues with delay or missed impressions.

-Flexible design options: We can customize the look and feel enough to keep surveys on-brand and unobtrusive. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Braze?

- Reporting could be more intuitive for simple survey use cases; the analytics are powerful but sometimes feel geared toward more complex campaigns.

- A bit heavy for single-purpose usage: Braze is a robust platform, so if you’re only using it for surveys, it can feel like more tool than you need. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Intuitive Platform That Simplifies Multi-Channel Campaigns"
What do you like best about Braze?

What I like best about Braze is how intuitive it is. The platform makes it easy to create personalized, automated campaigns without needing heavy technical support. I really appreciate how it brings together multiple channels, like push notifications, emails, and in-app messages in one place, helping teams deliver consistent and timely communication to users. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Braze?

When I first started using Braze, I felt it was a bit too overwhelming with the amount of features it was offering me. Sometimes the navigation and campaign setup process feel less intuitive than expected. It’s easy to get lost between Canvas, Segments, and Campaigns when managing multiple projects. A cleaner, more streamlined interface or faster ways to duplicate and update campaigns would make a big difference. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Still in the onboarding stages of Braze...but dissapointed so far"
What do you like best about Braze?

I really love how robust Braze is. We're able to bring in Segment data from our mobile app and build out a more robust in-app marketing experience. Our team also appreciates inboxvision to see how our emails will be received in different inbox providers. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Braze?

I really dislike the onboarding and customer support experience. I'm not quite sure how the Bronze package is supposed to go but we've had an onboarding consultant who doesn't know much about the platform in terms of our specific niche use cases and support tickets that take 2-3 days to be responded to when our I.P. warming is failing.

The integration documentation and revenue attribution documentation is outdated and our onboarding partner tells us that Braze is getting rid of it's products section but cannot tell us how to bring revenue attribution into our platform. When asked if Braze will even have revenue attribution, I was told they weren't sure. Which is the main reason we chose Braze over a competitor.

Implementing Braze has actually been such a bad experience and left us to have to dig to find things ourselves because we have an onboarding consultant that doesn't know a lot about the platform.

Integrating Shopify events isn't straigth forward or user friendly at all even though it appears to be. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Emily Calderon of Braze

Thank you for sharing your candid feedback. We are sorry to hear about your frustrating partner-led onboarding experience, as this is not the standard we hold ourselves to. Please know that our Principal Delivery Manager is monitoring your progress closely after your escalation to the email deliverability team. Should you feel that progress has stalled, please reach out to your Account Manager directly to ensure this is prioritized.

"Intuitive Interface, Effortless Setup, and Exceptional Efficiency"
What do you like best about Braze?

I appreciate Braze for its highly intuitive user interface, which makes it incredibly easy to operate. The drag-and-drop functionality in email template design is particularly enjoyable and enhances my efficiency in creating campaigns. Moreover, the capability to send email templates through an API from our design tools is invaluable. I also find the platform invaluable in managing multiple brands as it allows us to replicate setups across different workspaces effortlessly, significantly boosting our efficiency. The inclusion of the SDK on our brand's website is a major advantage as it enables us to track user interactions and behavior over extended periods, providing deeper insights into our customers' journey. The learning resources, such as the practitioner and marketer courses, played a crucial role in helping us adapt to and fully utilize Braze's offerings, making the transition smooth despite the initial learning curve. "Orchestrated Campaigns and Powerful Personalization"
What do you like best about Braze?

What I like best about Braze is how quickly we can go from idea to live - Canvas Flow and reusable templates let us ship and iterate journeys fast. It also builds in rigor with strong A/B/n testing, holdouts, and smart targeting/exits. Personalization scales cleanly through Liquid, Catalogs, and Connected Content across push, in-app, email, and WhatsApp. Overall, the Canvas Flow + experimentation combo is the standout.

Customer Support is very solid. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Braze?

Braze still needs an experienced driver to get the best out of it. Reporting feels a bit fragmented (journey vs. step-level views), QA/preview across locales and devices is clunky at times. I’m hoping for more AI and autonomous features - smarter auto-optimizing paths, creative and frequency recommendations, guardrail-based send suppression, better anomaly detection, and one-click QA to reduce manual lift and make the platform more self-driving.
