## Braze Reviews
 ### 1. Unified Channels, Precision Engagement

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Romain L. | Sales Manager, Events Services, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 11, 2026

**What do you like best about Braze?**

I love how Braze has united our applications, logins, and event data so a fan's full history is in a single view, making the consolidation invaluable to me. I appreciate the precision in carving out the right audience and delivering the right message at the right moment. The approachability of Braze's interface really stands out, allowing me to build campaigns unaided. I find the integrations straightforward, which helps our data team incorporate Braze into our wider reporting. I also value Braze's timing intelligence, which schedules messages to land when fans are most likely to engage, boosting response rates for our campaigns.

**What do you dislike about Braze?**

I find the content cards limiting because they don't support HTML, which restricts us when we want richer, polished creative. I also found the initial installation challenging, as it required significant involvement from our product and development colleagues.

**What problems is Braze solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Braze unites our applications, logins, and event data, allowing detailed fan history views. I can accurately target segments, improving acquisition and retention. The integrations are simple, but I find that the content cards not supporting HTML limits our ability for richer creative, and the initial setup required significant effort from our product and development teams.

 ### 2. Powerful multi-channel engagement platform

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Health, Wellness and Fitness | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 25, 2022

**What do you like best about Braze?**

Braze spent the last year really expanding their AI toolset. The big ones include Decisioning Studio (basically AI instead of manual A/B testing), an Agent Console for building custom AI agents right in Canvas, and a Content Optimizer that auto-generates message variants per person. They also added new channels (RCS, WhatsApp Commerce, Banners), zero-copy warehouse data triggers, and automated email IP warming. Lots of it looks promising, but most of the AI features are still in beta and pretty enterprise-focused.

**What do you dislike about Braze?**

While Braze is a powerful platform, there are a few areas where it could improve. The biggest gap is reporting. There's solid high-level engagement data, but no holistic way to see the cumulative impact of my lifecycle programs, so I still rely on manual analysis to understand each campaign's incremental effect. Beyond that, the pricing model (metered by data points and MAUs) gets expensive. The platform also carries a steep learning curve and heavy QA burden thanks to its reliance on Liquid.

**What problems is Braze solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Braze has allowed me to build a lifecycle engine that supports every stage of the user journey, all in one convenient platform. My campaigns have a clear impact on business performance, driving both revenue and weekly engagement.

 ### 3. Allrounder - Tool for Email- & Automation Marketing

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Vanessa Viola M. | CRM, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 26, 2022

**What do you like best about Braze?**

Braze is intuitive and easy to navigate, and its user-friendly design makes working with it especially smooth. It offers a solid range of tools that can be integrated without much hassle, making it a dependable choice. Another great aspect is that users can actively contribute feedback and be involved in improving the platform. Overall, it’s a well-rounded solution—if your product or marketing team is looking for an efficient way to design and manage customer communication, Braze is definitely worth considering.

**What do you dislike about Braze?**

There aren’t many major improvements to suggest—overall, I’d rate Braze very highly—but there are a few smaller areas that could be enhanced. For instance, unlike some other tools, Braze doesn’t automatically save changes to campaigns or canvases. This can lead to extra work if you forget to save manually, especially since the platform logs you out after a few hours, which can result in losing unsaved progress.

Another limitation is that once a campaign is launched, not all elements can be adjusted—even if it hasn’t actually been sent yet. It would also be helpful to have more flexibility in canvas scheduling. Currently, the maximum delay between steps is limited to 31 days, but in some cases, longer intervals are needed.

Lastly, Braze is quite expensive, which can make it difficult for smaller startups to afford and the pricing should be easier to view and adjust.

**What problems is Braze solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I don't know if they are working on the things I would like to have changed, but I put in some requests and waiting for them to implement them. Good that they always come up to you when they released a new tool.

**Official Response from Andrea Nieto:**

> Appreciate you taking the time to share such detailed feedback, it’s great to hear Braze has been easy to navigate and effective for managing your marketing efforts.

You’ve also raised some important points around autosave, edit flexibility after launch, scheduling limits, and pricing. This kind of specific input is exactly what helps drive improvements, and we’ve made sure your feedback is shared with the right teams.

Thanks again for your perspective, it helps us continue to refine the experience.

 ### 4. Streamlined Cross-Channel Campaign Management

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jhoel F. | Senior Marketing Manager, Marketing and Advertising, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 17, 2026

**What do you like best about Braze?**

I love how Braze ties email, in-app messaging, and push notifications into a single platform, letting me run cross-channel campaigns for our clients efficiently. The intuitive interface makes it very easy to learn and use, and I appreciate the ability to layer different capabilities for building sophisticated, multi-step customer journeys. The customer journey mapping feature is fantastic as it shows me the whole journey clearly with segmentation and filters in one view, which helps me refine targeting and design client campaigns more deliberately.

**What do you dislike about Braze?**

I wish they'd refine what they already do well. The push story builder has fields that overlap and gets visually messy with a lot of liquid code. Intelligent timing is boxed into a fixed window, which is a limitation I'd love to see relaxed. Some features feel like they were shipped once and then left untouched while focus shifted towards AI. Circling back to polish some of the older tools would go a long way.

**What problems is Braze solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Braze to tie email, in-app messaging, and push notifications into one platform, streamlining cross-channel campaigns without juggling tools, and reducing costs. It also lets me map customer journeys clearly, which enhances my campaign planning.

 ### 5. Great features, easy interface and easier to segment

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Tulay O. | CRM Campaign Manager , Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 24, 2026

**What do you like best about Braze?**

It is easy to use, the drag and drop templates are much easier to use and the interface is user friendly. I found creating segments has become a lot easier and I think the use of AI is also a game changer too.

**What do you dislike about Braze?**

When you clean up a canvas, it still puts the steps all over the place and often if your doing a larger canvas, makes it more untidy. I also still would love it if liquid could be easier to spot errors. Rather than trying to find a needle in a haystack. An ESP provider should be easy to use, than make your campaign and life harder.

**What problems is Braze solving and how is that benefiting you?**

User update step is a great new tool which is really useful, it has really come in handy with our current loyalty incentive campaigns

 ### 6. Empowering Omnichannel Marketing with Intuitive Features, But Pricing and Support Need Improvement

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Marcin D. | Client relationship manager, Professional Training & Coaching, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 01, 2026

**What do you like best about Braze?**

I like that Braze lets me run omnichannel campaigns in sync with Salesforce and Snowflake, which prevents fragmented outreach. I appreciate not having to lean on the data team every time and can build and tweak campaigns on my own using the drag-and-drop canvas and segmentation tools. The interface doesn’t fight me, and the AI features are valuable for how we manage inbound. Reporting on events rather than revenue alone helps me make better pitches to leadership.

**What do you dislike about Braze?**

The weak point is the issue of interpersonal relationships. Our time with the sales team and their onboarding partner Covalent never felt built around how we actually operate, and prying a timely answer out of them was a tall order. The Salesforce integration not being native is a genuine gap for us, and the per-message pricing has a habit of climbing as volume grows. Between webhook, email, and contact charges, the bill mounts up faster than platforms that fold more into a flat fee.

**What problems is Braze solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Braze lets me run omnichannel campaigns in sync with Salesforce and Snowflake, solving fragmented outreach issues. It allows fast iterations with dynamic segmentation, supports HIPAA compliance, and minimizes reliance on engineering. The drag-and-drop canvas and AI features enable me to work independently and efficiently.

 ### 7. Updates and automation that make daily life easier, with quick and helpful support

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Maicon V. | Analista Martech, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 05, 2026

**What do you like best about Braze?**

The updates have made my day-to-day easier. The support is quick and helpful, and there are many new tools that assist with automation. Additionally, the integration with various partners helps a lot.

**What do you dislike about Braze?**

Some areas still need improvement. Although there are many things that make it easier, other parts remain very manual and need to be enhanced.

**What problems is Braze solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Braze has been making day-to-day life much easier. It has brought many new updates that help in daily activities, and the partners we use are easily connected, which automates the process.

The biggest problem, however, is in some usability aspects. For example, in the Audience Path: when we apply a filter and need to repeat the same filter by changing just one detail in the field, we have to redo it in all fields because there is no option to copy and paste. In the Canvas, we also cannot select and copy to paste in another part of the same canvas, nor can we select multiple items/fields at once.

Despite this, the tool greatly helps in terms of security and also in customer relationship.

 ### 8. Streamlined Multi-Channel Engagement with Braze

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Cosmetics | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 27, 2026

**What do you like best about Braze?**

I like how flexible and easy Braze makes it to build personalized customer journeys. I find Canvas to be one of my favorite features because it simplifies creating and visualizing complex user flows. Liquid allows me to personalize messages based on customer data without any complications. I also appreciate the powerful segmentation, real-time event tracking, and the ability to manage multiple communication channels from one platform. The interface is intuitive, and I can launch campaigns quickly. The reporting tools are helpful in measuring performance and optimizing campaigns over time.

**What do you dislike about Braze?**

One area that could be improved is the Revenue Dashboard. In my experience, the revenue figures don't always align with our internal reporting, which can make it difficult to rely on the dashboard for accurate revenue analysis. Better attribution, improved data accuracy, and more transparent reporting would make this feature much more useful. Other than that, Braze has been a solid platform for managing and automating customer engagement campaigns.

**What problems is Braze solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Braze centralizes customer engagement, enabling me to manage campaigns across channels from one platform. Its real-time data and segmentation enhance customer interactions, while automation simplifies launching campaigns quickly without heavy developer reliance.

 ### 9. Powerful Canvas Automations, But Scheduling and Timezone Settings Need Work

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Marketing and Advertising | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 06, 2026

**What do you like best about Braze?**

At Cross The Tracks, what stands out most about Braze is how intuitive and powerful the platform is across the entire lifecycle of our campaigns. The UI/UX is a real highlight, particularly the Canvas builder, whose drag-and-drop interface and decision paths make it easy to create and manage complex customer journeys for different audience segments like early-bird buyers, VIPs, and returning attendees—saving us hours of manual work each week. Braze also integrates seamlessly with our ticketing platform and data warehouse, allowing us to use real-time purchase and engagement data to trigger highly relevant messaging, such as lineup announcements or last-call ticket pushes. In terms of performance, the platform is reliable even during high-pressure moments like ticket launches, ensuring messages are delivered quickly and consistently when timing is critical. While the pricing represents a meaningful investment, the ROI is clear through improved engagement and increased ticket sales driven by personalized, automated campaigns. The support and onboarding experience has also been strong, with a responsive and knowledgeable team that provides both technical help and strategic guidance when needed. On top of that, Braze’s AI and intelligence features, such as predictive segmentation and intelligent channel optimization, have helped us refine how and when we reach our audience, boosting engagement and conversions without adding extra workload. Overall, Braze has become a central part of how we connect with our audience, enabling us to deliver timely, personalized experiences that reflect the energy and diversity of the Cross The Tracks festival.

**What do you dislike about Braze?**

While Braze is powerful, there are still some UI/UX limitations that can make it less user-friendly than competitors. For example, I recently encountered an issue where the platform allowed me to schedule a mailer for a time that had already passed, without any warning. This resulted in an important campaign not being sent, even though it still appeared as “scheduled,” which was frustrating from both a usability and reliability standpoint. Another challenge is that timezone settings aren’t easily adjustable—our instance is locked to Central European Time, so I constantly have to account for the time difference when scheduling campaigns. Small issues like these can interrupt workflow efficiency and increase the risk of errors, especially during time-sensitive campaign periods.

**What problems is Braze solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Braze solves the challenge of delivering timely, behaviour-driven messaging, which is particularly valuable for our VIP upgrade funnel at Cross The Tracks. Previously, upgrading customers required more manual follow-up and often missed the ideal moment to convert interest into action. Now, through our integration with Kaboodle, ticket purchase data flows into Braze in real time, allowing us to trigger a “thank you” email immediately after someone buys a standard ticket, with a clear and relevant VIP upgrade offer included. This instant response means we are reaching customers at peak intent, while their purchase is still top of mind. We can then build on this with follow-up reminders and tailored messaging depending on whether they engage or upgrade. This approach has made the process far more efficient and has led to stronger upgrade conversion rates, while also creating a smoother and more personalised experience for our audience.

**Official Response from Andrea Nieto:**

> Thank you for the incredibly detailed feedback. It’s great to hear Braze is helping your team deliver highly personalized, real-time campaigns and supporting critical moments like ticket launches with reliability and scale. We’re especially glad the Canvas experience, integrations, and AI-driven capabilities are creating value for your workflows and audience engagement.

We also appreciate you highlighting the scheduling and time zone challenges. Issues like missed sends and time zone friction can have a real operational impact, particularly for time-sensitive campaigns, and your feedback has been shared with the team as we continue improving the experience and reducing opportunities for error.

Thanks again for taking the time to share such thoughtful insights, it’s incredibly valuable to us.

 ### 10. Powerful CRM

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Entertainment | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 04, 2023

**What do you like best about Braze?**

Braze has been built for multi-channel from the ground up — email, push, SMS and more — and that shows in how naturally it handles complex lifecycle programs across channels. It also plays well with a wide range of tech stacks, whether you're doing a quick Shopify integration or building something fully custom via API. That flexibility is genuinely rare.
On the product side, the release cadence has noticeably picked up. There's clear investment happening, and the AI feature roadmap is pointing in the right direction — the use cases they're targeting (retention, churn risk, personalization) are exactly what growth and CRM teams need. That ambition is encouraging.

**What do you dislike about Braze?**

The pricing model is genuinely frustrating — complex, opaque, and seemingly always in flux. It's hard to forecast costs confidently, and the lack of transparency makes it difficult to plan at a team or org level. That's a real problem when you're trying to build a business case internally.
CSM quality is inconsistent. When you get a great one it's a genuine asset, but the variability means you can't rely on it as a stable support channel — and when things go wrong, that gap is painful. Speaking of support: the absence of chat support for quick fixes is a miss. Many comparable tools offer it, and for a platform this complex, it would make a meaningful difference.
On AI: the use cases they're targeting are relevant, but the models aren't delivering yet in practice. Retention and churn risk features in particular haven't worked as expected — so while the direction is right, I'm not convinced by the results so far. More proof points needed before it lives up to the promise.
Data consumption limits and segment build constraints also add unnecessary friction for power users.

**What problems is Braze solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Braze helps us have a holistic view on what we are sending to our users. It helps make sure our communications are tailored and adapted to each individual across multiple channels.

 ### 11. User-Friendly but Needs Better Analytics

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Berat Fırat E. | Product Manager - Growth & CRM, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 28, 2026

**What do you like best about Braze?**

I find Braze very easy to use, especially for creating funnels, which in Braze are called canvases, making it an essential tool for our company. I like managing all CRM operations with Braze because it simplifies the process significantly. Their personalization features, like Liquid Personalization, are particularly appealing. The a/b testing mechanism within canvases is also user-friendly and helps us test different variants for push notifications and emails effortlessly. I appreciate the quiet hours feature and frequency capping rules; we utilize these constantly to ensure our communications are respectful and not overwhelming for users. Personalization is crucial for sending customized progress reports based on user behavior. The quiet hours setting helps us prevent sending notifications at inconvenient times, and frequency capping assists in controlling the communication volume. All in all, I like how Braze supports our CRM operations smoothly.

**What do you dislike about Braze?**

I think the analytics part needs to be improved. When it comes to basic analytics like email open, click rate, or push notification open or click rate, it is useful but the analytics for the whole effect of our CRM operations is very basic and not enough. The 'test canvas' feature is not very useful; I almost used it once or twice. Technical analytics is also not enough, as it's not easy to monitor why some communications are not going, what the logs are, etc. The setup wasn't too difficult, but it definitely required someone knowledgeable about the structure.

**What problems is Braze solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Braze for our CRM to communicate consistently within the user funnel, segmenting users and targeting cohorts. It's easy to manage CRM operations, create funnels (canvases), personalize interactions, and test messages with a/b testing, quiet hours, and frequency capping.

 ### 12. Accessible APIs, SQL, and AI That Help Scale Personalisation

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Bethany M. | Customer Engagement Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 24, 2026

**What do you like best about Braze?**

Their data capabilities are very upfront and accessible - they provide access to things like APIs/SQL etc. for marketers that generally would only be touched by more technical people. This gives much more opportunity for us to scale personalisation and customer journeys, especially using their advanced AI features.

**What do you dislike about Braze?**

Because all the technical features are so upfront, it can be complex to understand segments and how to set up certain journeys like abandon cart or just general logic. They also have loads of add ons which can be hard to keep track of.

**What problems is Braze solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Braze is allowing us to connect our in-app behaviours with customer comms and base our audiences on real data in real time.

 ### 13. Effortless Email Marketing with Powerful AI Assistance

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Emily F. | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 24, 2026

**What do you like best about Braze?**

I use Braze for email marketing and it really helps with reporting. The dashboard and reports are easy to make, and it's super helpful having all the information consolidated into one place. I also find creating designs easier on Braze for email templates. The AI assistant is super handy because if I ever have a question or query, I go to the assistant and the majority of the time it helps me plan and make better decisions. Braze's capabilities work well aligned with user app behavior and better targeting, which is great for my company that has an app. The initial setup was quite easy, and any issues we faced were from our side, not a Braze issue.

**What do you dislike about Braze?**

I’m not a huge fan of the rows when creating an email. It would be helpful to have additional columns and other decision functions such as being able to change the color of a spacer inside a row without changing the background color.

**What problems is Braze solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Braze simplifies reporting with easy dashboards and reports, consolidates information in one place, and makes designing email templates easier.

 ### 14. Comprehensive CRM with Powerful Segmentation, Needs Improved Data Analysis

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Yasmine M. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 23, 2026

**What do you like best about Braze?**

I use Braze as my CRM tool to efficiently manage and communicate with B2C and B2B audiences. I like the feature of multi-channel canvas for email, SMS, and WhatsApp. I appreciate the user profiles and the ability to analyze segments in detail. I can go into any user's profile and see what custom attributes and events are connected to them. Also, I can see what campaigns and events they have received and their recent engagement. With segments, I can see where they're being used and the performance of each audience.

**What do you dislike about Braze?**

I find it very hard to analyze experiment data efficiently and effectively. With custom attributes, you can’t select strings, so there’s huge room for human and manual error. All custom attributes should be a drop down of the fields you already have.

**What problems is Braze solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Braze to manage B2C and B2B communications, leveraging multi-channel options for email, SMS, and WhatsApp. I can view user profiles with custom attributes and engagement history, and analyze segment performance, which enhances my data-driven campaigns.

 ### 15. User-Friendly with Powerful Personalization

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Alice D. | Assistant CRM Manager, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 27, 2026

**What do you like best about Braze?**

I find Braze to be user-friendly and intuitive, making it easy to navigate. The data is easy to access and store, which is really convenient for managing large databases. I appreciate the Liquid feature which helps us to personalize messages at scale without a lot of manual input. I use Canvases the most and find them easy to segment and sort in triggered flows. I'm also fond of AI tools like Intelligent Channel, Selection, and Timing.

**What do you dislike about Braze?**

I think the AI operator could be easier to use, it's not super user-friendly currently. The initial setup of Braze wasn't entirely smooth but was worth it in the end.

**What problems is Braze solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Braze for sending marketing messages and managing our large database. It's user-friendly and intuitive, making data easy to access and store. Liquid helps us personalize messages at scale without much manual input.

**Official Response from Andrea Nieto:**

> Thanks for the detailed feedback. It’s great to hear Braze is helping you manage data effectively and scale personalized messaging with tools like Liquid and Canvas.

We also appreciate your input on the AI operator and the initial setup experience. Ease of use is critical, and we’re continuing to refine both onboarding and AI workflows to make them more intuitive. Your feedback has been shared with the team.

Thanks again for taking the time to share your experience. It’s incredibly valuable.

 ### 16. Reliable, Real-Time Messaging with Room for Improved Integration

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Karina L. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 23, 2026

**What do you like best about Braze?**

I appreciate Braze's reliability and its ability to send trigger messages quickly and in real-time. The user-friendly interface is a big plus too, as it helps us learn quickly and saves time when sending or building emails. The detailed segmentation offered by Braze is more advanced than what I was used to with our previous platform, and it supports our needs effectively.

**What do you dislike about Braze?**

I'm still not able to integrate with direct mail using Braze. It would be nice if Braze could identify if a customer received direct mail so we could expand our omnichannel approach. Also, I wouldn't say the initial setup was easy, but we had years of historical data so it made sense.

**What problems is Braze solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Braze for detailed segmentation and to send real-time trigger messages. It provides a user-friendly interface, making it easy to learn and saves time building emails.

 ### 17. Versatile CRM Tool with Room for UI Improvement

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** monica c. | Product Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 24, 2026

**What do you like best about Braze?**

I enjoy the Braze operator's capabilities and the overall amount of capabilities it offers as a channel. The multiple channels allow us to enrich traditional communications. The Braze operator is very good for debugging, without having to search forever or open way too many tickets.

**What do you dislike about Braze?**

The Braze Canvas UI feels a bit oldschool and should resemble a workflow or Miro board more closely. The Braze operator loses context every time, which isn't always great. The data point consumption is quite extreme.

**What problems is Braze solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Braze for customer journey mapping, behavioral communication, easy segmentation, personalization, and analytics. It also enriches communications across multiple channels.

 ### 18. Powerful, User-Friendly Marketing Platform with Room for Smarter Insights

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Consumer Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 05, 2023

**What do you like best about Braze?**

Braze has been a strong tool in my day-to-day work, especially when it comes to building and managing segmentation. It’s very intuitive to create targeted audiences, and the predictive features are genuinely useful for refining campaigns. Setting up campaigns and canvases is straightforward, and the overall user experience is smooth, which makes it easy to move სწრაფly from idea to execution without a steep learning curve.

In terms of new things I’ve been enjoying, Braze continues to stand out for how quickly you can spin up campaigns and iterate on them. The flexibility in segmentation combined with its clean interface makes it especially effective for teams that want both power and ease of use. The predictive capabilities also feel increasingly valuable as datasets grow.

**What do you dislike about Braze?**

That said, there are areas where Braze could improve. Churn insights could be more actionable and surfaced more clearly. It would also be great to see more intelligent recommendations built into the platform—especially AI-powered suggestions for campaigns or canvases. For example, proactively recommending optimizations or new journeys based on performance data would take the platform to the next level.

Overall, Braze is a reliable and user-friendly platform with strong core functionality, and with a few enhancements around insights and automation, it could become even more impactful.

**What problems is Braze solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Ability to send Email, Push and In app messages to our app users. Seamlessly integrated in one location.

 ### 19. Plateforme conviviale avec une marge d'amélioration pour l'analyse

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Airlines/Aviation | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 13, 2023

**What do you like best about Braze?**

**What do you dislike about Braze?**

La partie analytique n'est pas bien montrée dans le tableau de bord Braze, donc elle pourrait certainement être améliorée. De plus, l'exportation des données n'est pas si facile et nécessite un développement technique.

**What problems is Braze solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Braze est une plateforme conviviale et facile à utiliser, nous aidant à créer des flux de parcours utilisateur. Elle nous permet d'envoyer le bon message à la bonne personne au bon moment, ce qui est parfait d'un point de vue marketing.

 ### 20. Powerful Personalized, Real-Time Messaging with Intuitive Analytics

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Retail | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 29, 2026

**What do you like best about Braze?**

What I like best about Braze is its powerful and flexible customer engagement tools, especially the ability to create highly personalized, real-time messaging across multiple channels. The platform’s intuitive interface and strong analytics also make it easier to understand user behavior and optimize campaigns effectively.

**What do you dislike about Braze?**

When selecting filter groups under target audience, I can only select one at a time and then need to repeat the process for every segment or custom event I want to select. This costs me a lit of time every day.

**What problems is Braze solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Braze helps solve the challenge of delivering timely, personalized communication to users across multiple channels from a single platform. This benefits me by making it easier to engage customers more effectively, improve retention, and base decisions on real-time data rather than guesswork.

 ### 21. User-Friendly for First-Time Users, with Helpful Customer Service

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Umokheir A. | service adminstrator, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 23, 2026

**What do you like best about Braze?**

I like how user friendly it is. It is great for first time users and the customer service is always there to help.

**What do you dislike about Braze?**

featuress within canvases and campaigns could be useful to have some hints

**What problems is Braze solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Braze is solving the problem with relapsing customers. It’s amazing how we can find them, and re-enhance back

 ### 22. Intelligent Integration, But Rigid Structure

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Aleff N. | Analista de Marketing, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 10, 2026

**What do you like best about Braze?**

I like the fact that Braze is very dynamic and integrated with a lot of artificial intelligence. This makes a total difference for us, both in creating communications and in drafting texts with Braze. All this integration with intelligence is really cool.

**What do you dislike about Braze?**

Look, honestly, I come from a company that used Adobe Campaign, and there a really cool feature was being able to block all the icons that we didn't want the client to receive in a journey. In Braze, I can't do that, I have to create another Canvas, another journey, just for them to receive that specific communication. It would be perfect if we could block the message icons of a specific communication. Braze is a bit rigid in some aspects, like blocking the sending icons, which could make the administrator's work easier, faster, and more dynamic.

**What problems is Braze solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Braze to capture customer data and make more assertive and personalized communications, understanding what the audience is looking for. This helps me to place the brand where the customer is truly interested.

**Official Response from Andrea Nieto:**

> Thank you for your thoughtful feedback, we’re glad to hear Braze’s AI-powered capabilities and integrations are helping you create more personalized and impactful communications.

We also appreciate your input on Canvas flexibility and message controls. Feedback like this is incredibly valuable as we continue to evolve the platform, and we’ve shared your suggestions with our product team.

Thanks again for being a Braze customer, we’re committed to continually improving your experience.

 ### 23. Intuitive Canvas and Strong Templating, but the HTML Editor Needs a Preview

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Joanne K. | ANZ CRM/ Lifecycle Marketing Lead, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 30, 2026

**What do you like best about Braze?**

I really like how content is templatised by: email template, content block, in-app message etc.

I like the catalog system where we can draw upon our product dimensions

I like the Braze Canvas Ux and how intuitive it is to craft different audience splits

**What do you dislike about Braze?**

Probably how in the HTML editor, there's no preview of the html you're building

But not much else

**What problems is Braze solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Previously we couldn't really craft omnichannel campaigns where we show someone an email then a push notification and then an in-app modal. NOw that's possible

**Official Response from Andrea Nieto:**

> Thanks for the detailed feedback. It’s great to hear the templating system, catalogs, and Canvas experience are helping you build more sophisticated, coordinated campaigns.

We also appreciate you calling out the need for better preview functionality in the HTML editor. That’s a practical improvement, and your feedback has been shared with the team.

Thanks again for taking the time to share.

 ### 24. Intuitive and User-Friendly CRM Solution with Cutting-Edge Features

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** soph h. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 23, 2026

**What do you like best about Braze?**

I find Braze really intuitive and user-friendly, with lots of new features to try out, especially with AI. It has all the features we need to execute our campaigns efficiently. I appreciate how it helps us with personalization, making sure we're sending the right campaigns to the right people at the right time, reducing unsubs and churn. I enjoy testing and learning different campaign paths. The initial setup was easy too.

**What do you dislike about Braze?**

Maybe the AI features are very new, and I need more use cases.

**What problems is Braze solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I find Braze intuitive and user-friendly for our CRM email and push campaigns. It helps with personalization, ensuring campaigns reach the right people at the right time, reducing unsubscribes and churn. I appreciate testing different campaign paths, which aids in optimizing our communication.

 ### 25. Effortless Segmentation, Needs Better Email Builder

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Joanne K. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 27, 2026

**What do you like best about Braze?**

I really like how building segments with Braze is really easy. It's also really easy to create branch splits and handle all the different logic within the canvases, which are really customizable. I like how Braze ingests data so that I can personalize effectively with all the different custom attributes and custom events.

**What do you dislike about Braze?**

This is a bit picky, but in the email building section, we use HTML, and there's, like, one part that is the HTML code and then the right-hand side is just the same thing. Feel like we should have a live HTML render when we're editing the code. That would be helpful.

**What problems is Braze solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Braze to manage daily campaigns and welcome flows smoothly, thanks to its easy segment building.

 ### 26. Comprehensive Communication with Ease, But Needs UI Tweaks

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ramez K. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 24, 2026

**What do you like best about Braze?**

I used all the features of Braze to efficiently send out App Pushes, In-App messages, email, SMS, and WhatsApp. I love having all our comms, results, and overviews in one place. I really like the Canvas Builders and its simplicity, which allows us to have an entire journey in one place. It makes it easy for us to check results, make updates, and make adjustments.

**What do you dislike about Braze?**

I would like more ability to change layout. Have different channels to be colored so I can tell difference between SMS, App and Email.

**What problems is Braze solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Braze to centralize our communications, results, and overview in one place. Canvas Builders make it simple to have an entire journey in one spot, easy to check results, make updates, and adjustments.

 ### 27. User-Friendly CRM with Unique Features

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jamie H. | Patient Communications Engineer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 23, 2026

**What do you like best about Braze?**

I find Braze really unique and quite easy to navigate. It's user-friendly, and I appreciate that you don't have to use everything; you can get additional help if needed. The platform operates with user-friendliness in mind, making it easy even if there are new things I haven't used before.

**What do you dislike about Braze?**

I'd say the aspect of trying to offer you a lot of different work from previous campaign into another one. So unless you've saved it as a content block and stuff before, it's not so easy with the drag and drop option.

**What problems is Braze solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Braze as a CRM network to connect with customers and potential patients. It's user-friendly and helps me easily build specific campaigns by going to the operator for support if needed.

 ### 28. Intuitive and Efficient Omnichannel Solution

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Aimee C. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 14, 2025

**What do you like best about Braze?**

I appreciate Braze for its easy interface and quick sending times, which really help streamline our communications. The platform is intuitive, and I find its powerful capabilities impressive. I also value the fact that Braze offers lots of training modules, which help us get the most out of its features. Being able to use it for emails, push notifications, and content cards is quite beneficial, and it supports our need to be omnichannel.

**What do you dislike about Braze?**

Decisioning Studio - it seems amazing and very powerful but also an expensive add on

**What problems is Braze solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Braze provides an easy interface for sending emails, push notifications, and content cards with quick sending times. It allows us to be omnichannel, offering a seamless experience across multiple channels.

**Official Response from Andrea Nieto:**

> Thanks for the thoughtful feedback. It’s great to hear Braze is helping you streamline communications and deliver a strong omnichannel experience, and that the training resources are supporting your team.

We also appreciate your perspective on Decisioning Studio. Pricing and packaging are important considerations, and your input has been shared with the team.

Thanks again for taking the time to share your experience.

 ### 29. Effortless Data Integration, Fast Campaign Adaptation

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jeeves B. | Martech Platform Lead, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 23, 2026

**What do you like best about Braze?**

I like Braze's native capabilities to connect to data lake platforms like GCP. This has been a game changer for the marketing team, enabling them to access more data and action campaigns to adapt to market volatility much more efficiently. While it previously took weeks with Salesforce Marketing Cloud, now the team can adapt in hours. I also found the initial setup process quite efficient with the help of a trusted partner, CACI.

**What do you dislike about Braze?**

Greater flexibility with data model design. Sometimes it is difficult to fit a relational data model into Braze.

**What problems is Braze solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Braze provides access to data for enhanced personalization and quick adaptation of campaigns to market changes, significantly reducing the time from weeks to hours compared to my previous tool.

 ### 30. Real-Time Data and Powerful Segmentation for Personalized Cross-Channel Engagement

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Angelos C. | Co-Founder, Non-Profit Organization Management, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 13, 2026

**What do you like best about Braze?**

What I value most about Braze is its real-time data capabilities and powerful segmentation, enabling highly personalized, cross-channel engagement at scale. It provides strong automation and API flexibility, making it effective for driving measurable lifecycle impact.

**What do you dislike about Braze?**

Braze can present a steep learning curve for new users, particularly when configuring complex segmentation and automation flows. Additionally, advanced customization and reporting often require deeper technical involvement, which can increase operational overhead for non-technical teams.

**What problems is Braze solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Braze addresses fragmented customer communication by centralizing data, segmentation, and cross-channel engagement within a single platform. It enables real-time, behavior-driven messaging, reducing manual campaign management and improving targeting accuracy. This drives stronger customer engagement, higher conversion rates, and more measurable lifecycle performance.

 ### 31. Effortless Multi-Channel Campaigns, Needs Improved Setup

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Tim G. | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 23, 2026

**What do you like best about Braze?**

I like how Braze offers an easy way to find what I need and adapt. I also appreciate the Analytics Studio for being quick and easy to get meaningful results to share with the business.

**What do you dislike about Braze?**

It needs an auto-save function for the canvas, and when you edit an email template, it would be great to be able to save straight away. The setup was challenging since it wasn't done by Braze but by another party, CACI, who were hard to work with.

**What problems is Braze solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Braze for marketing emails and SMS, which simplifies running multi-channel campaigns. It's easy to find what I need and adapt, plus the Analytics Studio quickly delivers meaningful results to share with the business.

**Official Response from Andrea Nieto:**

> Thanks for sharing your experience. It’s great to hear Braze is helping you run multi-channel campaigns efficiently and that Analytics Studio is delivering quick, actionable insights.

We also appreciate your feedback on autosave functionality and the setup experience. We know how important a smooth onboarding and workflow experience is, and your input has been shared with the team as we continue to make improvements in these areas.

Thanks again for taking the time to provide feedback.

 ### 32. Efficient Campaign Automation with Room for Improvement

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Will M. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 23, 2026

**What do you like best about Braze?**

I really like that the user interface of Braze is easy to use. The API endpoints are also a strong point for me, as they simplify automation, allowing us to trigger campaigns from our backend servers at scale. This lets us build audiences on the fly in our own system and then send them to Braze for delivery. I also find the campaign analytics feature valuable, as well as the overall setup process, which was very easy.

**What do you dislike about Braze?**

Not all things are covered by API endpoints, I’d like to be able to create campaigns via API for example.

**What problems is Braze solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Braze for automating campaigns, sending large amounts of communications at scale with filtering and frequency capping.

**Official Response from Andrea Nieto:**

> Thanks for the detailed feedback. It’s great to hear the UI, API capabilities, and analytics are helping you scale and automate campaigns effectively.

We also appreciate you pointing out the need for expanded API functionality, particularly around campaign creation. That kind of specificity is incredibly helpful as we continue to evolve the platform and we’ve shared your input with the product team.

Thanks again for sharing your experience.

 ### 33. Powerful CRM Tool with Room for Improvement

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Scott M. | Senior Technical CRM Executive, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 23, 2026

**What do you like best about Braze?**

I like the proactive approach on AI tools of Braze, but I enjoy the journey building and user insights it offers. It solves our complex user journey and allows us to segment and personalize our journeys better. Even though it was very complicated and hard to set up, the onboarding team at Braze helped us a lot, making the initial setup easier to handle.

**What do you dislike about Braze?**

It loads slowly and is very limited on reporting. The canvas builder UI could be better and easier to use, especially in 2026. The initial setup was very complicated and hard to set up.

**What problems is Braze solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Braze solves our complex user journey issues, allowing us to segment and personalize journeys effectively.

**Official Response from Andrea Nieto:**

> Thank you for the detailed feedback, it’s great to hear Braze is helping you manage complex customer journeys and deliver more personalized experiences, and that the onboarding team was able to support you through setup.

We also take your feedback seriously around performance, reporting, and the Canvas experience. These are important areas, and your input has been shared with the team as we continue to improve usability and overall platform responsiveness.

We appreciate you taking the time to share your experience.

 ### 34. Intuitive and Efficient, But Time Zone Needs Improvement

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Toni V. | CRM Marketing Manager, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 23, 2026

**What do you like best about Braze?**

I love that Braze makes complex tasks easy and is easy to learn. It's always a plus having an AI operator to help resolve issues when I get stuck. I really appreciate how quick and dynamic the email building features are, allowing for highly personalized content. Braze's intuitiveness is another standout, as it makes things quicker and simplifies my workflow. Additionally, the initial setup of Braze for my team was great.

**What do you dislike about Braze?**

The time zone. We’re now in BST but Braze doesn’t change and won’t adapt in each workspace per region.

**What problems is Braze solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I find Braze makes complex tasks easy, quickens my workflow with its intuitive design, and allows for highly dynamic, personalized email builds.

 ### 35. Effortless Email Customization with Intuitive Drag-and-Drop

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Hannah S. | Email Marketing Specialist, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 11, 2025

**What do you like best about Braze?**

I like how easy Braze is to use! The drag and drop feature is super easy to use and lets me customize my emails how I want. I am on braze on every day and build and launch emails often! Was super easy to learn how to use and it is much better than an old email platform I used to use.

**What do you dislike about Braze?**

I would love it if there was a way to easily convert HTML templates to drag and drop. In trying to switch my emails from html to drag and drop, and cannot get exact specifications to be the same and it is quite frustrating.

**What problems is Braze solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Being able to build canvas' and select when a user receives a email. For us, we use it to build and launch emails to users. It is super helpful to test emails!

 ### 36. Streamlined Customer Journeys with Intuitive Insights

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Georgina J. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 23, 2026

**What do you like best about Braze?**

Braze is a good platform for sending communications, and the user profile data is intuitive to use, making customers feel real. It makes using and executing complex customer journeys easier for our team and speeds up execution timelines. I think the canvas step features are really useful, and the intelligent tools are very useful. We use context to personalize and transform data points.

**What do you dislike about Braze?**

I think sometimes the data visibility could be improved: things like being able to see all possible values for attributes within nested objects.

**What problems is Braze solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Braze simplifies sending communications with user-friendly customer profiles. It eases executing complex customer journeys, speeding up timelines and enhances personalization with its context tools.

 ### 37. Empowers Team Collaboration and Enhanced Campaign Strategy

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sola K.

**Reviewed Date:** February 01, 2026

**What do you like best about Braze?**

I love how well we can collaborate remotely but also in person. About every other year or so, we do a Braze Hackathon with members from the NBC organization and Braze to tackle important ideas for the next year. It's always fun to brainstorm ideas and work with a team who can turn visions into reality, which is really exciting. I also really like the email builder tool and the new AI decision tools. The AI tools are great because they help us make decisions by using real-time data, allowing us to quickly translate numbers into tangible next steps. This is particularly helpful for our audiences team.

**What do you dislike about Braze?**

I think it would be really nice to have a basic, super basic level 101-esque course on how Braze works — before we even get into how the team uses it. I wonder how much of the new team members' understanding is true understanding and how much is trial by error or a 'monkey see, monkey do' situation. I haven’t found tutorials on our side to be especially helpful

**What problems is Braze solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Braze saves us from building emails in-house, letting us customize campaigns easily and provides valuable content analysis and audience data that aid in understanding the consumer lifecycle, boosting subscription retention.

 ### 38. Effective for Multi-Skill Users, Needs Better Integration Support

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Alice W. | Global CRM Lead

**Reviewed Date:** April 25, 2026

**What do you like best about Braze?**

I like that Braze can be used by users with many different skill levels for various marketing and in-app messaging tasks. The Campaigns & Canvases feature is particularly valuable as it allows us to send personalized content to nudge customers effectively.

**What do you dislike about Braze?**

A fair bit of dev support required. We require a lot from our in-house tech teams re integration. This can make new things slow to be delivered by us. It was rushed which is why we have gaps in our integration.

**What problems is Braze solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Braze lets us communicate directly with customers and is accessible for users of all skill levels. It helps us send personalized content through Campaigns & Canvases.

 ### 39. Empowers Marketing with Ease, Needs Analytics Upgrade

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Harvey H. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 23, 2026

**What do you like best about Braze?**

I like Braze's easy-to-use UI and its integrated features that allow us to solve complex issues easily. I also appreciate the integrations within our tech stack that enable seamless data transfer. These features power our marketing efforts by allowing us to deliver personalized campaigns at scale.

**What do you dislike about Braze?**

While the UI is clear to use for front-end tasks, the Analytics features could be more rigorous and display elements such as statistical significance.

**What problems is Braze solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Braze for fulfilling marketing campaigns, delivering them at scale and allowing seamless data transfer through our tech stack. The easy-to-use UI and integrated features help solve complex issues and power our marketing efforts with personalized campaigns.

 ### 40. Intuitive Platform with Room for Navigation Improvements

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Lydia T. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 23, 2026

**What do you like best about Braze?**

I like the intuitive platform of Braze, especially when building reports. I use these reports to make further decisions on the timing, recipients, and content of the communications I send. While I haven't had much time to explore them, the AI features in Braze look interesting to me.

**What do you dislike about Braze?**

Navigation between canvases and messaging is sometimes difficult. Additionally, advanced filtering is not automatically filtering to active campaigns, and the search page could be clearer and less busy.

**What problems is Braze solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Braze for sending emails, push notifications, and SMS, which helps in creating customer segments, optimizing sends, and streamlining journeys. The intuitive platform aids in building reports to guide communication decisions.

 ### 41. I've used various CRM platforms, but Braze is the best one

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Food & Beverages | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 13, 2023

**What do you like best about Braze?**

I like that it's very immediate to understand, and that you feel supported by its team if you were to ask for further clarifications. I like its implementations, and its numerous features, and integrations that help everyone do their job in the best way possible. Lately I’ve really liked how Braze is leaning into AI—it feels less like manual journey building and more like smart decisioning that adapts in real time. I use braze on a daily basis, and it's always very fast, even when heavy projects are on the website.

**What do you dislike about Braze?**

It could be more clear in the html structure. Reporting/analytics still feel a bit limited unless you export data elsewhere.

**What problems is Braze solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It's definitely reducing stress and hustle!

 ### 42. Efficient Campaign Management with Intuitive UI

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Charlotte G. | MarTech Technical Architect, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 23, 2026

**What do you like best about Braze?**

I use Braze for campaign orchestration and really like the ease of campaign setup it offers. The user interface stands out for me because of its good integration of AI, which makes it easier to find and set up campaigns.

**What do you dislike about Braze?**

I'm not happy with the copying between workspaces. It would be better if it allowed copying other areas like audiences to maintain links between copied canvases, and also allowed for mass updating of messages in SMS subscription groups.

**What problems is Braze solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Braze for campaign orchestration and appreciate the ease of campaign setup. The UI, especially the integration of AI and campaign setup, is really useful.

 ### 43. Efficient Messaging Platform with Intuitive UI

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Max H. | Partnership director, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 17, 2026

**What do you like best about Braze?**

I most liked Braze's user interface and the ease of setting up. It's very straightforward and offers templates for emails, suggestions for messaging, and safety checks. The initial setup was very easy; the team had no difficulties. Additionally, we had better control and more features available, which made it better for us to switch.

**What do you dislike about Braze?**

we were unable to run a few custom connections

**What problems is Braze solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Braze helped solve our messaging and communication issues with users and provided extensive scope. It streamlines sending communications and reporting.

 ### 44. Versatile and Convenient, but Setup Hurdles Exist

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sonny S. | Event Management Specialist, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 27, 2026

**What do you like best about Braze?**

I use Braze for my mailers and it allows me to customize communication channels. I like the AI integrations and how convenient it makes my workflow. It also helps me make my canvases and creates delays without manually doing it. I switched from Brevo to Braze because it offers way more possibilities.

**What do you dislike about Braze?**

I don't like the HTML drop editor in Braze. It would be better if the interface was easier to use. Transferring data during the setup was also a pain.

**What problems is Braze solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Braze allows me to customize communication channels and AI integrations make my workflow more convenient by creating delays automatically.

 ### 45. Data-Centric Tool with Room for Improvement

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Laurence H. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 23, 2026

**What do you like best about Braze?**

I like Braze for its data-centric nature. The attributes defined within Braze can be used in campaign code, and they are updatable via feed or API, which is really beneficial.

**What do you dislike about Braze?**

The data points don’t have data types or validation, which affects workflow. It would be better if there were data type definitions and data quality alerts. Also, there are issues with easy SMTP transactional email sending that Acoustic could handle but Braze can't.

**What problems is Braze solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Braze for sending marketing emails and defining campaigns. I like its data-centric nature, attributes in the campaign code, and how it integrates with our backend APIs.

 ### 46. Feature-Rich for Marketing but Needs UI Improvements

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Arth V.

**Reviewed Date:** February 06, 2026

**What do you like best about Braze?**

I like that Braze is pretty easy to use and offers a lot of features for controlling and fine-tuning audiences. The ability to dissect segments into sub-segments using segment extensions is quite helpful.

**What do you dislike about Braze?**

The UI can be a little too clunky and it's not optimized for small screen laptops, so it ends up making it difficult to use across a variety of devices. It could also be more clear about what I have access to and don't, as it usually leaves a vague message which leaves me unsure if the data exists or if I just don't have access.

**What problems is Braze solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Braze for email marketing. It helps us utilize our PII data for marketing safety. It's pretty easy to use and has features for controlling and fine-tuning audiences, allowing us to dissect segments into subsegments using segment extensions.

**Official Response from Nick Wood:**

> Thank you for the feedback, Arth. We’re excited to hear about the platform’s overall ease of use and how helpful our segmentation capabilities have been.

I’ll share your other UI feedback with the team.

 ### 47. Valuable for Campaign Analysis with Room for Dashboard Improvement

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Steven D.

**Reviewed Date:** January 12, 2026

**What do you like best about Braze?**

I really like Braze because it allows me to quickly and easily see performance data at both a macro level, like canvases and campaigns, and a more detailed point of view for individual messages. I like the audience lookup feature when troubleshooting issues specific to certain users, as it helps me find users and assess the communications they've been sent. I also find certain features in the dashboard builder helpful for tracking performance through custom dashboards, although I feel they could be better. The search functionality is a standout as well, being both easy to use and effective, which helps me quickly find canvases and campaigns even when I don't know their exact names or location. I'm a big fan of Braze overall, and it has greatly supported our product marketing efforts.

**What do you dislike about Braze?**

Although the report builder is great for the dashboard feature, it could be much improved. The graphs and charting have never worked effectively for me. And the ability to customize seems very surface level. I'd love to personalize further and go deeper. I also wish there was a feature that we could easily create a test user (with specific profile attributes) to test comms in the live environment. Similarly, a dashboard visually showing all of the comms that a user has received would be helpful.

**What problems is Braze solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Braze lets me see performance data easily for campaigns and individual messages. It helps find users, troubleshoot issues, and track performance with custom dashboards. The search functionality makes finding canvases and campaigns quick when I don't know their exact names.

 ### 48. Robust Engagement, Tricky Segmentation

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Adam B. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 23, 2026

**What do you like best about Braze?**

I like that Braze is a robust piece of software that enables high-quality engagement and allows us to convert a lot of volume. It's easy to use, fairly straightforward to learn, and offers almost limitless possibilities for learning with it. The initial setup was also fairly straightforward from what I understand.

**What do you dislike about Braze?**

I feel like some of the segmentation aspects are tricky, and the backend data is difficult to get to grips with too. It could be laid out more intuitively.

**What problems is Braze solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Braze for multi-channel winback campaigns. It's robust, enabling high-quality engagement and converting a lot of volume.

 ### 49. Empowers Personalized Customer Journeys, Needs Better Reporting Tools

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Alkis G. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 23, 2026

**What do you like best about Braze?**

I like that you can create a whole customer journey in one canvas with Braze. I enjoy the decision elements and find the easy testing of variants and liquid language for personalization particularly helpful. It helps us have relevant messaging based on user actions and who they are.

**What do you dislike about Braze?**

Braze reporting not having an API key. And no way to programmatically understand which custom attributes and events are used in segments, canvases, campaigns like in usage report but on a massive scale.

**What problems is Braze solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Braze helps in sending personalized messages, crafting customer journeys, and having relevant messaging based on user actions.

 ### 50. Simplifies Campaigns with Excellent Personalization

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jonathan C. | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 23, 2026

**What do you like best about Braze?**

I really appreciate the simplicity that Braze offers while managing complex campaigns and workflows. The segmentation feature is great, and I find the canvas and journey builders to be very effective as they allow us to deliver personalized messages quickly to the right people.

**What do you dislike about Braze?**

Some reporting could be better and more customization, such as building your own content blocks and dashboard selections.

**What problems is Braze solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Braze lets us communicate with multiple game player bases, delivering personalized content and updates via email. It manages complex campaigns simply and efficiently, with excellent segmentation and journey building that quickly reaches the right people.
