I really like that Wistia is easy to use and has a really simple and clean interface. All the tools are helpful, and it's great to be able to customize the look of the video player. I think things like capturing leads, being able to ask people to raise their hand during a live webinar, and be able to capture all the people that raised their hand for wanting a demo. I know there's some implementation for that now and maybe it has been updated since the last time I tried it. I think that would be an improvement. For our Wistia live videos, we film in a studio and not from a webcam setup. Everything is reversed when I look at the video inside Wistia Live, because it's trying to be a mirror image like a webcam would. But for our studio environment, that's just one small little nitpick that I wish I could flip the video feed in Wistia Live so that way it's not mirrored and it could look normal for the producer view as well. One of the most valuable features is Turnstile, which allows us to capture leads directly within videos without disrupting the viewer experience. It would be nice to easily integrate it with Make to streamline webinar creation—progress has been made, but I still have to change things manually. The attendee count during the webinar doesn't update accurately, and I can't see the engagement info afterward. They offer a lot of great resources, like blog posts relevant to my industry, great support forums, and tutorials when they make UI updates. I love that Wistia has evolved from a video hosting site to a holistic, comprehensive tool for video Marketing. We use Wistia to record remote client interviews, pre-recorded Webinars, and live Webinars. I appreciate that the recording tools are a lot more polished and streamlined than typical video conferencing software. And they are easy to use and browser-based so non-technical teammembers and guests are not overwhelmed. The browser-based editing tools are also a huge asset for scalability. Because of these tools and the fact that recordings are hosted in the same platform, non-technical marketers on our Content and Social teams can easily repurpose long form media for other channels without tapping our Video team's limited bandwidth. There are a few features of the recording platform that I would like to see implemented: -Downloadable separate tracks for each speaker during live webinars -Separate, high quality audio tracks for each speaker -Ability to map keyboard shortcuts to change layouts or spotlight speakers during recording -Ability for Producer to unmute and communicate with guests without being on stage. I didn't get this to use for editing, but the editing suite is actually very intuitive. I am a professional editor, so I have the tools, but I see this suite being very useful for product teams who need to create content but don't have access to a producer or past video editing experience. I would like if the viewer that we share with prospects looked a bit more polished like a YouTube instead of a back-end video platform. Not the biggest deal though. While we didn't get it for transcription, it's transcription is helpful since it is free. It doesn't do a full mutli-person easy speaker ID transcription - but it isn't a transcription first platform so that is okay, it does what I need it to do quickly. I like Wistia for its ability to provide quick translations and closed captioning for videos. It really adds value with ease of translation, especially as we are becoming more internationally accessible. What do you dislike about Wistia? Sometimes the folder structure and search functionality can be a bit tough. Unless your team coordinates on how you organize things, or you use the very specific words in the title of your video, it can be hard to find your video.
