I find it very easy to upload and add metadata and generate text descriptions with AI on Wistia. The interface is pretty simple and easy to use, and everything is well documented on the support site. Plus it provides more control over look and feel of brand, unlike some other video hosting platforms, pitching ads of their liking after your video was played, which is a branding risk. Email notifications within webinars - they are great as zero effort solution for practical case, but if you want some creative flexibility and customization - there is no easy way. Our primary need was a streaming solution that worked in Indonesia and a few other countries that block some of the other streaming platforms. I was pleasantly surprised by the ease of use, price, and features in the platform. Getting up and running was easy and it was simple to integrate with our systems. What problems is Wistia solving and how is that benefiting you? We discovered that Vimeo and a few other platforms are blocked in some of our markets and in our search we found that Wistia was not. For years we had been using YouTube to embed our videos but we didn't have enough traffic to put in calls to action or control the suggested videos that would pop up at the end. I honestly would require it in any marketing organization I'm a part of. It's crucial to the digital marketing function in this day and age. There are no other video platforms that are this easy to use for our job. I appreciate the updates that come regularly to make it an even better product - you can tell the company is there actively trying to help its customers. I may not log in every day but those videos are up on the website, we upload weekly demo videos, and it is constantly running, bringing in views and active engagement of our audiences. The team is a delight to work with and has been very cooperative. We also use the integration to tag on Intercom which has helped us streamline the needs of our clients or anyone visiting our site. The simple analytics are nice, focusing on the overall metrics that matter and not showing a ton of random, unnecessary vanity metrics. The A/B testing feature is great for measuring engagement and comparing content. These features help us compare what is working better or worse to inform and improve marketing campaigns.
