"SharePoint gets the Point"
5/5
What do you like best about Microsoft SharePoint?

I really like utilizing Sharepoint as it integrates with Microsofts Power Automate Suite which ultimately brings back to work the message that it supports everything you are doing within the company. Most companies are on Windows Server and utilize the O365 platform which brings it home. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Microsoft SharePoint?

There are a lot of limitations with Sharepoint. If you do not have advanced coding knowledge or even a pretty deep understanding of the Power Platform available to you, it can honestly be a bit of a challenge to get to work. Also sometimes the User Interface ends up being wonky and that is fairly frustrating when trying to navigate to areas in SharePoint or even trying to just format regular pages. "Easy to Share Organizational Documents"
4/5
What do you like best about Microsoft SharePoint?

Sharepoint makes it easy to centrally store organizational documents and make them accessible, both across the organization and from whenever you are based on its cloud access. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Microsoft SharePoint?

We have had some difficulty in effectively implementing user group permissions, making department-specific documents searchable and accessible to non-stakeholders. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Great Solution for a File Share and Cloud System in Every Business"
3/5
What do you like best about Microsoft SharePoint?

The features of this program is super extensive.

It can be integrated with the other Office 365 softwares which is very convenient and smooth for business and team operations

It allows customization and personalization which is awesome for feeling more independent while still being on a mass shared system Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Microsoft SharePoint?

Even though it comes as part of Microsoft Office package, it is not free at all. Accessing the full license means more payment and unfortunately there are many additional hidden costs. To sum it up, it is pricey.

It is complex to maintain and use meaning that the learning curve requires practice and some time for optimal performance and results.

You can integrate the software with other programs but it requires so much extra effort. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Secure and accessible"
5/5
What do you like best about Microsoft SharePoint?

Can set it up so that the documents that you save to your local computer automatically sync with SharePoint automatically. Similar to Google docs so not difficult to learn how to use. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Microsoft SharePoint?

Nothing major. For me, using Sharepoint requires two-step authentication. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Great for storage and collaboration"
5/5
What do you like best about Microsoft SharePoint?

I like that it provides access to multiple individuals in a cloud storage system that is more convenient and collaborative than other live doc and storage systems. The folder set ups and the storage system in general has been extremely helpful in keeping organized. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Microsoft SharePoint?

It is a little less intuitive than other systems, in terms of learning the layout and such. But other than that it is great. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Great for collaboration and simultaneous document work"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Microsoft SharePoint?

Share point is great for time-sensitive projects where more than one person may need to work in the document. With a legal background, this has come in handy with briefs due for court filing rather than the traditional word document that one person would work in, save, and send to the next person. This expedited the process and allows everyone to see changes in real time. The ability to also download as a copy into Word makes editing and reviewing easy as well. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Microsoft SharePoint?

Occasionally share point has crashed and seeming not saved all of the edits. Otherwise, it’s a fantastic option. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Sharepoint Makes Access To Office Files Easy"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Microsoft SharePoint?

I work remotely and Sharepoint bridges the gap between my virtual office and our business office. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Microsoft SharePoint?

File organization is only as good as the users. To the extent that our office does not use standard protocols for filing documents, it becomes more cumbersome to find what I need. Sharepoint helps to some extent because it is word searchable. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

3.5/5
What do you like best about Microsoft SharePoint?

The great scalable functionality of sharepoint is widely used in organizations and its many functionalities have a bast offer of personalization Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Microsoft SharePoint?

Not that user friendly and not in hand to new UX and UI tendencies, also need strong in -house or outside vendor implementation to personalize and adjust to business needs Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Really Simple to Use"
5/5
What do you like best about Microsoft SharePoint?

I like how simple it is to use. My firm uses it for our department sharepoint and for our firms sharepoint. I am able to edit our firms website content through sharepoint edit and I am also able to generate reports that I have set up which I thought was really cool. I like how easy it is to navigate for the things I need to use it for and how it has its own calendar and things that I can share with my department. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Microsoft SharePoint?

I dont have anything to dislike about it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
