**What do you like best about MiCloud Flex?**

System is reliable and functions day to day. After the initial setup, which was a frustrating and time consuming process, the system has run successfully.

**What do you dislike about MiCloud Flex?**

Abysmal support, I mean it's nearly impossible to get support for the system. Mitel migrated ticketing systems and did not respond to any tickets for about 2 weeks after install. Constant confusion on their end about licensing and features. One support person knocked our company offline for a couple hours, breaking our whole phone menu tree. 

Project management is nonexistent and there is no accountability at higher levels of management. Support teams try but they clearly lack the training or tools to provide an adequate support response. System design is also convoluted, and it requires multiple management pages for each part of the system. The call center portion is a separate PBX which is bridged to the main PBX. It gets out of sync requiring service reboots. 

UC Software is poor, soft-phone is unreliable. Chat service does not sync between devices. No iPad app for collaboration. Mitel offers no 2 factor authentication. MiTeam collaboration software is near impossible to get licensed for. Internal teams don't even know what it is.

**Recommendations to others considering MiCloud Flex:**

Go with another system. Mitel is not easy to deal with. the product is a decade behind others at a way higher price point.

**What problems is MiCloud Flex solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We were able to get everyone home using this solution, although due to the fact that soft phones don't work reliability and also do not support any queue calls, at a great expense. The physical phones work well for remote work.

**What do you like best about MiCloud Flex?**

I like the ability to see the "status" of someone's phone line as well if they are out of the office.  Also, I like that I can right click on a contact's name and call or IM the coworker.  The IM feature has been a lifesaver with quick communication.

**What do you dislike about MiCloud Flex?**

I wish there were a quicker feature to record an out of office greeting.  I need to change my out of office greeting often and it would be great to have a dashboard icon for frequently used features so I don't have to click through a series of settings.

**Recommendations to others considering MiCloud Flex:**

Offer multiple training sessions each year to help new employees/existing employee refreshers.  Some of the more detailed features can get lost in the shuffle because "the basics" are usually taught first.

**What problems is MiCloud Flex solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have employees at 9 different facilities.  This system solves the problem of not knowing whether someone is in the office but not available, on the phone, in a meeting, out of the office, etc. without having to send a dummy email to see if their out of office is on or calling and waiting for the ooo message to kick in.

**What do you like best about MiCloud Flex?**

I like that I can find contacts quickly and flawlessly. I don't have to remember dozens of extensions anymore! It is also great how I can check my voicemail from Outlook without having to put in my password on the phone itself. A minute here and there over time really adds up! 

**What do you dislike about MiCloud Flex?**

I dislike the fact that the directory duplicates names if I have multiple numbers. It should only list the name once, have a default source to pick the number from, and give an additional menu from which to select additional numbers when necessary.

**Recommendations to others considering MiCloud Flex:**

I would recommend taking the time to familiarize yourself with the product. At first, I wasn't so sure it would be very helpful. After observing a co-working implement ShoreTel I was extremely impressed. Take a risk and just try it out! The integrations with Outlook are outstanding. Just checking voicemail from my Email inbox instead of having to call saves a considerable amount of time! ShoreTel has made communicating with others more intuitive and efficient. Not only does using the computer help by being more intuitive than all the options on the phone itself, there are updates and improvements that are released and available via the ShoreTel software that just weren't available with just a phone.

**What problems is MiCloud Flex solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Ultimately, we have a few new employees start in the last few months, and phone extensions have changed, too. Because of ShoreTel I don't have to memorize the extension changes, just the names.

What's not to love? I love that it's so easy to use, and even better now that I get my voicemails sent straight to my email! No more pressing replay 3 times in order to get all the info. Now I can replay just the parts that I need to hear again. Super efficient!

**What do you dislike about MiCloud Flex?**

There's nothing I dislike, but I would love to see transcription available in the future. That would be less note taking for me and easier for me to quickly grab details and connect with callers.

Ease of responding to voicemail and quickness of getting the pertinent info from voicemails

**What do you like best about MiCloud Flex?**

Being able to forward my phone and the number read as the company users is beyond helpful. This keeps my cell phone number safe. Securing my personal information is very important.

**What do you dislike about MiCloud Flex?**

Not being able to turn off the instant message. With all the various communication technology in the company, this is just one more application I have to check. Some users will try to contact me through instant message and it is often missed due to the various communication tools used within the company.

**Recommendations to others considering MiCloud Flex:**

When selecting a mobile number for call forwarding, also allow the ability to configure your department extension rather than the default company number. If I try reach out to users when my phone is forwarded, it would be helpful for the user to see the department phone number.

**What problems is MiCloud Flex solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Being able to direct calls to an internal call center and route out accordingly is golden. Opening up the line of communication and communication options optimizes the users abilities to work in groups. Also, the easy of conferencing in other users is very helpful and fast process.

**What do you like best about MiCloud Flex?**

You can move agents from one skill set to another en masse, the defaults restore once the agent logs out. There are custom calculations available for reporting, you can build your own.

**What do you dislike about MiCloud Flex?**

Cannot report by group of skills, so if you have a project with multiple skills, you cannot report on the project totals without first massaging the data. 

**Recommendations to others considering MiCloud Flex:**

Not as robust as Avaya; not bad for a smaller contact Center with fewer skills

Needed a multi-site multi-skill Omani channel contact Center

Ability to transfer calls and handle voicemail messages within plus the integration with Outlook contacts and calendar

**What do you dislike about MiCloud Flex?**

Outlook integration sometimes crashes either application. Not being able to customise out of office mode when outside of office hours. I.e set hours of operation. But it works when setting out of office in calendar of outlook. 

**Recommendations to others considering MiCloud Flex:**

If you're moving to this from nothing then this will solve all your problems, if switching from a competitor it's best to trial it out. Although the features are rich and the ability to forward your business phone calls to your mobile is easy and other similar functions

Departmental phone systems and allowing members within a team/group can pick up each others phones/or the main hotline.

Easy to use, I like being able to send Voice Mail messages to Email to access on the go.

Tends to disconnect from the server time to time, and only way to get it back is close out completely and restart the application on the client side.

Ability for a computer based directory, able to look up any one in the organization quickly.

The creation of reports is very intuitive and all users are able to create them from scratch, use one from their default reports library or modify an existing report.

**What do you dislike about MiCloud Flex?**

It seems that the GUI can be updated at times the icons and the workflow can be a little outdated. 

**Recommendations to others considering MiCloud Flex:**

I'd recommend the Mitel PBX system.

**What problems is MiCloud Flex solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We were able to integrate our CRM system with the Mitel PBX fairly fast and still remained very intuitive to the end user. Full training would be preferred as the maintenance can be difficult if the admin user is not familiar with the system.

We use this software to field phone calls. Helps for easier answering of phone calls especially when multiple calls come in at once.

**What do you like best about MiCloud Flex?**

I like that everyone in my company can be reached by their extension regardless of their location (cross country and across the pond in Europe and UK), it also integrates into my outlook so thats great, as well as being able to decline calls and send people to voice mail with the click of a button. You can also have your directory, call histroy, etc all on your desktop as an app. You are also able to link your call status to your skype/outlook status which is great !

**What do you dislike about MiCloud Flex?**

I hate that it disconnected frequently and that the shoretel phones dont have a redial, they have a "history" and when youre not connected you cant just have a simple look at who you last called, it has to be connected.

No business problems, just a phone

For the most part, shortel is reliable. Everything comes into one central location

For the most part, shortel is reliable. But more often than not, we seem to have issues with receiving all the faxes.

Instant messaging is a life saver for solving smaller issues without having to stop your current task completely.

I love the ability to look anyone's phone number in our organization. I don't need an org. phone book because I can look up by extension, name, or department.

The additional options aren't clearly explained. I've had to figure out what options do by testing them out to see if it's what I'm looking for.

How reliable the product is on an enterprise level - I've had very few issues with running the platform

**What do you dislike about MiCloud Flex?**

They have deleted my previous cases from my case history, call forwarding intermittently works, will not delete users from account when requested, very inconsistent support, and very long response times

**Recommendations to others considering MiCloud Flex:**

Sometimes even though the GUI says forwarding is working, call the number and test, because sometimes it doesn't. Support team is absolute garbage so I hope you like headaches

I love the simplicity of this product, its simple to set up, easy to use. Most of our users are able to figure the product out pretty easily as well.

**What do you dislike about MiCloud Flex?**

The product can be a little clunky at times. I've noticed that if there is ever a hiccup in the internet bandwidth or anything at all, the end user will sometimes get disconnected for not reason, and it usually fails to reconnect automatically.

**Recommendations to others considering MiCloud Flex:**

Make sure you get the support option from your vendor, it has paid for itself tenfold.

The product is super cost effective, and it is perfect for our home users, and anyone that travels from site to site.

Accurate data collection and reporting! Call recorder is easy to use. Data reporting is a little tedious to compile and export.

**What do you dislike about MiCloud Flex?**

Not immediately user-friendly when first being trained. Even for seasoned user, there are still functions we have yet to explore. I feel that our team is not using the software to its full capacity.

Call center duties. Reporting for call queue, employee productivity, and volume of calls taken in any given shift.

The VoIP works well and scalability let's us continue to grow.

The licensing is extremely modular making the price high. Basic functionality has its own license requirements.

**Recommendations to others considering MiCloud Flex:**

Be sure to account for costs that may not appear in the initial analysis. User licenses and voice mail will increase the costs.

This service makes quality communication possible. We very rarely have outages and can report on user activity.

**What do you like best about MiCloud Flex?**

I find our Shoretel system very easy to admin. I have worked with it for a little over a year and it has been a pleasant surprise. We have had very little trouble with it. We are supported by a local company that supplies us with hardware and will do first time setups for us when we bring up a new locations. Other than that we admin it ourselves and I am not really a phone guy.

**What do you dislike about MiCloud Flex?**

I don't love the phones. I think they could be more sleek and laid out better. I have had some switches flake out on me but they have always been replaced under our maintenance contract. 

**Recommendations to others considering MiCloud Flex:**

Based on my experience with it, I would definitely suggest using it. I would also suggest finding a local telco support company to help you get it setup right the first time.

**What problems is MiCloud Flex solving and how is that benefiting you?**

This is a straight IP phone system. We have 26 branches across the US. This is helped us keep everyone connected and I have a single pane of glass to administer the system. I am able to use my cell phone as my primary Shoretel phone and benefit from being able to have the client on my phone and use it like my desk phone. We also use the Shoretel communicator to IM each other inside the company.

**What do you like best about MiCloud Flex?**

Mitel boosts a full suite of integrated products.  The benefits recognized by our company using Mitel has been:  cost savings, increased productivity, statistical reporting,ease of use and flexibility.   Using the handsets and attendant console is very intuitive and does not take a long time to get new staff up and running.

**What do you dislike about MiCloud Flex?**

On the current system each database is separate and must be programmed separately.  Only 1 user can be logged into a database at a time.  I would also like to see different roles so I can lock down access to various technicians.

**What problems is MiCloud Flex solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have a widespread user community serving 7 counties.  Mitel has made our communication seamless and provided a cost savings for the company through the VOIP platform.  Our after hours nurse call centers receive timely and important data on how they are serving our patients.  From this we can monitor and make improvement or changes proactively instead of reactively.

AMAZING engineering support, Great Unified Communications applications

**What do you dislike about MiCloud Flex?**

There aren't anythings I can say I don't like. Mitel is a large company and if you dig I am sure you could come up with some things that you may not like. I have decided that they are the best telecom manufacturer in the business. 

**Recommendations to others considering MiCloud Flex:**

I would recommend Mitel to any business out there looking to improve their efficiency, especially in regards to improving the company call center (which normally is a key/essential portion to either collecting money, supporting current customers, or growing the new customer base.

Call center application/ Micontact center is a great way to make your company more efficient.

Mitel offers a solid VOIP platform that works very well.

Lack of phones is an issue, and you need Mitel experts to manage your system as it is very complex.

Mitel is great if you can afford the expertise, but Cisco or Avaya are easier to manage with your existing staff.
