"Aprimo's Smart tagging and cropping features are a huge time-saver."
What do you like best about Aprimo?

I've been using Aprimo daily for the past eight months as part of our marketing and content team, and the feature I appreciate most is the AI-powered smart tagging combined with the automatic cropped image variants. Whenever we upload a new asset, like the lifestyle photos for our health awareness campaigns. Aprimo instantly analyzes it and adds relevant tags (person, smile, food, indoor, etc.) without us having to manually label everything. It makes searching our growing library so much faster. Even better, it generates ready-to-use crops in different aspect ratios (16:9, 3:2, square, etc.) and resolutions right there on the asset page. We no longer have to open Photoshop just to create social media versions or website banners. The whole team can grab exactly what they need in seconds, and it keeps everything consistent across channels. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Aprimo?

The search can sometimes be a bit picky if you're not using the exact tags, and I've noticed the smart tagging occasionally misses more specific details (like brand elements in product shots). Also, loading large batches of high-res images can feel slow on slower connections. The pricing is definitely enterprise-level, so it was a big commitment for us initially, and some of the advanced analytics require extra configuration that took our admin a while to set up properly. "DAM Library finally made Asset hunts bearable!"
What do you like best about Aprimo?

The DAM Library is what I live in every day, and the search + filters make it actually usable. I can type "headphones" and boom, 142 results pop up with previews, file sizes, and channels pre-filtered (social, web, etc.). No more scrolling endless folders. Smart tags like "audio equipment" auto-apply to stuff like our AMP demos, so tagging a bulk upload of 50 beach shots takes minutes instead of hours. Workflows tie right into it too, approvals for new assets like the "Sounds cape 310 black" JPEG route automatically to the team. Integrates okay with Adobe for quick edits. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Aprimo?

The mobile view of the library is clunky, filters don't stick, and previews load slow on spotty WiFi. Onboarding dragged on for about 3-4 weeks; half our team kept defaulting to old SharePoint habits. Reporting could use better exports, I end up in Excel too often for channel breakdowns. Also, It's not cheap, and we still fight the price during renewals but worth every penny. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Solid tool once you get Past the Price tag."
What do you like best about Aprimo?

I love how the DAM actually works and finds things fast. I can search by campaign code, color, file type, or even part of a file name from two years ago and it pulls the correct approved version every time. The workflow automation is simple but effective, we went from 8–10 emails per creative review to just a couple of clicks and automated reminders. Our regional teams love the self-service brand portal because they can grab localized assets without pinging me at weird hours. Integrates cleanly with Adobe Creative Cloud and Salesforce too. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Aprimo?

The fact that it's expensive. Reporting looks nice but I still end up exporting to Excel almost every week because I can’t get the exact breakdowns I need in the dashboard. Onboarding took longer than expected, probably 4–5 weeks before everyone was comfortable. Mobile app doesn't work well compared to desktop. Despite all these, it’s still worth it! "A tidy and well-structured platform for marketing departments"
What do you like best about Aprimo?

Aprimo makes daily work much easier by centralizing all marketing tasks and content. Seeing who is in charge of each step and the status of projects is beneficial. The platform saves time because it eliminates the need to switch between tools by centralizing files, feedback, and updates. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Aprimo?

When you're first using the system, some areas of the interface seem a little crowded. Some features are not immediately apparent, so it takes some time to understand them. If it could process large content libraries a bit more quickly, that would be nice. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Efficient Asset Management but Needs Faster Setup"
What do you like best about Aprimo?

I like Aprimo's search and smart tagging features because they save me a lot of time. Instead of digging through folders or asking teammates for links, I can quickly find the exact assets I need using keywords, tags, or file types, and I know it's the approved version. The approval workflow is also really helpful as it keeps feedback and approval status clear in one place, eliminating the need for long email threads and making everything organized and easy to track. These features are especially beneficial during campaign launches or when updating SEO pages on short timelines. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Aprimo?

The initial setup of Aprimo wasn't instant and took some time to configure and onboard the team. It would be helpful if the notification system could be clearer and faster, as my teammates often miss them. Also, having fewer clicks to move an asset through approval would make coordination smoother. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Feature-Rich and Reliable, with Smooth Integrations and Room for Faster Support"
What do you like best about Aprimo?

Aprimo offers a wide range of features and integrates well with our creative and content systems, which makes it part of our daily workflow. It's fairly easy to use once you are familiar with it, though the initial implementation required planning and training. Integrations were smooth, but customer support can occasionally be slow to respond. Overall, it is a feature-rich and dependable tool for frequent enterprise-level use Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Aprimo?

The learning curve is a bit of a task as it takes a lot of time for anyone to get used to it. Despite having the power, the display sometimes looks clunky or not intuitive Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Digital Asset Management Platform"
What do you like best about Aprimo?

Aprimo has been a great tool for our organization. Our Content Operations Manager conducted an extensive platform comparison, evaluation, and review process to identify the best DAM platform for our specific needs. The Aprimo team helped set up and implement the platform, and they are constantly sharing what more we can do. Great customer support.

Aprimo has been so easy to add assets, tag them, and create curated views for specific teams. They have some pretty sweet AI capabilities that make it easy to find exactly what you are looking for. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Aprimo?

Nothing to report. Aprimo has been a great tool. We previously had Seismic and BTC, but they didn't work for our needs. We've been a multi-year Aprimo cusotmer. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Efficient Tool for Marketing Campaigns, Needs UI Tweaks"
What do you like best about Aprimo?

I use Aprimo to manage marketing campaigns and content, and it really helps our team stay organized and meet deadlines effectively. The feature I appreciate the most is how it consolidates all marketing projects in one place, which significantly reduces the complexity of managing multiple campaigns. I enjoy the collaboration tools available on Aprimo, such as task assignments and easy content sharing, which streamline teamwork. The tracking tools are invaluable as they allow us to monitor progress swiftly, ensuring everyone is aligned and making the management of campaigns far less stressful. Furthermore, Aprimo's integration with tools like Adobe Creative Cloud and Salesforce facilitates seamless content creation and campaign performance tracking, providing substantial time savings and alignment across our marketing processes. Overall, Aprimo has proven to be a reliable platform that enhances collaboration, organization, and visibility into project progress, making our transition from another tool worthwhile. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Aprimo?

I find the learning curve for new users a bit steep, which can make it challenging to become proficient with all the features. Additionally, the interface sometimes feels slow or clunky, particularly when dealing with large projects, which hinders productivity. The navigation can be cumbersome, requiring several clicks to access certain tools or reports. This impacts efficiency, especially in larger projects. Loading times also feel sluggish when handling many assets simultaneously. Enhancing the user interface, speeding up performance, and offering customizable views could greatly improve the user experience, allowing for quicker access to essential information. "Amazing Company-Wide Tool"
What do you like best about Aprimo?

Aprimo has been an amazing addition to our tech stack. We've implemented company-wide and use it for all of our brand assets to enable consistency, our customer story library for enablement, we've created a partner portal, the list goes on and on. It's been a great shift for us as a company to have one central tool that is used far and wide. It's easy to use, easy to understand, easy to share, and easy to track. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Aprimo?

I'd like more AI capabilities shipped, but some great functionality is already here. AI is moving so fast and it's hard for anyone to keep up with that in the best ways. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Aprimo is the professional choice"
What do you like best about Aprimo?

It works. It is professional. It is intuitive and EASY to use. On the very rare occasion that something is not working, you are informed of a timeline. Account managers answer any questions we have. We implemented our DAM in 6 weeks with the assistance of an outside vendor. I am in this DAM multiple times a day. It is quicker and easier to use than finding images on hard drives or servers. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Aprimo?

One downfall is that it is so customizable and complex "under the hood" that it is not for the faint of heart. Sometimes just implementing something simple is a big deal. Fortunately, the Account Managers are there to help. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
