"Empowered Our Marketing with Seamless Integrations"
What do you like best about Aprimo?

I really like that Aprimo is one of the first marketing automation platforms, which makes the user base broad and their support very good. They also have a very strong engineering and product team. The platform is a centralized marketing hub and great for marketing asset approvals. I find the integration with other platforms like Salesforce CRM, SAP ERP, and Kodak Design2Launch particularly useful. Aprimo was a significant innovation for our Marketing department; it taught us a lot about setting up automated segmentation and interactions with our contacts along journeys. I think the platform's move to the cloud has also made setup easier, and the Aprimo consulting team is really helpful during configuration. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Aprimo?

It can have some problems with large workflows getting stuck but this has improved over time with product development and moving to the cloud and User training. Reports sometimes are a bit slow, but once you learn how things are connected, it is not difficult to set them up and Aprimo Support can assist you with best practices. "Boosts Marketing Budget Visibility with Room for UI Enhancement"
What do you like best about Aprimo?

I really like the visibility Aprimo provides into marketing budgets and spending. It makes it easier to track expenses, manage approvals, and keep financial activities organized. This visibility helps finance and marketing teams stay aligned and maintain better control over campaign costs. Monitoring funds in real-time and ensuring expenses stay within approved limits is a big plus. Aprimo centralizes information, improving transparency and helping us make more informed decisions. The initial setup was straightforward, and once configured, it has been easy to manage budgets and approvals. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Aprimo?

One area that could be improved in Aprimo is the user interface, which can sometimes feel complex for new users. Certain workflows and reports may also take time to navigate or customize, improving ease of use and simplifying some processes would make the platform even more efficient. It could be more intuitive as it sometimes takes several steps to find commonly used features. Simplifying workflows and adding clearer approval status tracking would also improve efficiency. More flexible and customizable reporting options would help finance teams generate insights more quickly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"AI-Powered Content Versatility with Aprimo"
What do you like best about Aprimo?

I use Aprimo's AI Content Coach to rapidly generate and iterate on ad copy, social media captions, and email marketing variations for A/B testing, which allows me to maintain multichannel campaigns much faster while keeping brand consistency. I appreciate how the AI Content Coach acts as a force multiplier for campaign execution, enabling quick iterations on messaging for multichannel performance marketing. It speeds up my ability to launch and run rigorous A/B testing without waiting on external content creators. The integration with CRM platforms like Salesforce and HubSpot helps align marketing collateral directly with our B2B sales pipeline. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Aprimo?

The AI content coach is excellent for Rapid iteration, but it would be a game changer if it could ingest live A/B testing or Google Analytics (GA4) data. If the AI could generate copy variations specifically optimized based on our historical conversion rates, it would perfectly close the loop between content creation and performance marketing. "Streamlined our marketing Chaos with Aprimo!"
What do you like best about Aprimo?

I've been using Aprimo for about a little over a year now in our mid-sized marketing team, and what stands out the most is how intuitive the workflow automation is. It's like it reads your mind, setting up campaigns and approvals feels seamless compared to the clunky tools we used before. The digital asset management side is a game-changer too; no more digging through endless folders or emailing files back and forth. I love how it integrates with our CRM and Adobe suite without any hiccups, saving me hours each week. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Aprimo?

Honestly, the initial setup took a bit longer than I expected, there's a learning curve with all the customization options, and our IT guy had to tweak a few things to get it fully synced with our existing systems. Also, the reporting dashboards could use more out-of-the-box templates; I end up building a lot from scratch, which is fine but adds extra steps sometimes. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Aprimo's Smart tagging and cropping features are a huge time-saver."
What do you like best about Aprimo?

I've been using Aprimo daily for the past eight months as part of our marketing and content team, and the feature I appreciate most is the AI-powered smart tagging combined with the automatic cropped image variants. Whenever we upload a new asset, like the lifestyle photos for our health awareness campaigns. Aprimo instantly analyzes it and adds relevant tags (person, smile, food, indoor, etc.) without us having to manually label everything. It makes searching our growing library so much faster. Even better, it generates ready-to-use crops in different aspect ratios (16:9, 3:2, square, etc.) and resolutions right there on the asset page. We no longer have to open Photoshop just to create social media versions or website banners. The whole team can grab exactly what they need in seconds, and it keeps everything consistent across channels. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Aprimo?

The search can sometimes be a bit picky if you're not using the exact tags, and I've noticed the smart tagging occasionally misses more specific details (like brand elements in product shots). Also, loading large batches of high-res images can feel slow on slower connections. The pricing is definitely enterprise-level, so it was a big commitment for us initially, and some of the advanced analytics require extra configuration that took our admin a while to set up properly. "Solid tool once you get Past the Price tag."
What do you like best about Aprimo?

I love how the DAM actually works and finds things fast. I can search by campaign code, color, file type, or even part of a file name from two years ago and it pulls the correct approved version every time. The workflow automation is simple but effective, we went from 8–10 emails per creative review to just a couple of clicks and automated reminders. Our regional teams love the self-service brand portal because they can grab localized assets without pinging me at weird hours. Integrates cleanly with Adobe Creative Cloud and Salesforce too. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Aprimo?

The fact that it's expensive. Reporting looks nice but I still end up exporting to Excel almost every week because I can’t get the exact breakdowns I need in the dashboard. Onboarding took longer than expected, probably 4–5 weeks before everyone was comfortable. Mobile app doesn't work well compared to desktop. Despite all these, it’s still worth it! "Everything in One Place: Strong Brand Consistency and Streamlined Approvals"
What do you like best about Aprimo?

Everything lives in one place—assets, versions, and approvals—so nothing gets lost and brand consistency stays strong. The workflow automation is also a real strength: you can set up clear approval flows with deadlines and defined task ownership, which helps cut down on delays and confusion, especially for busy teams. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Aprimo?

A common criticism is that the learning curve can be steep. Since Aprimo is designed to support complex, enterprise-level processes, new users may feel overwhelmed at first—especially if they’re coming from simpler task-management tools. That same complexity can also slow the initial implementation and extend training, which may increase time and costs. Some users also mention that the interface feels dated or less intuitive than many modern SaaS platforms, making everyday tasks feel a bit clunky. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Reliable Solution for Workflow and Asset Management"
What do you like best about Aprimo?

What I like best about Aprimo is how it centralizes marketing operations into one structured system. It brings together workflows, content approvals, and digital asset management in a way that makes collaboration much more organized and transparent.

The workflow automation and customizable approval processes are especially valuable, as they reduce manual follow-ups and keep everyone aligned. I also appreciate the visibility it gives across teams — it’s easy to track project status, ownership, and timelines without relying on scattered tools or long email threads.

Overall, it helps create accountability and structure, which is critical for scaling marketing operations efficiently. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Aprimo?

One of the main challenges with Aprimo is the learning curve. The platform is feature-rich, which is powerful, but it can feel overwhelming for new users at first. Initial setup and workflow configuration require time and proper onboarding to fully understand how to leverage the system effectively.

The interface can also feel a bit complex compared to more lightweight tools, especially for teams that need quick adoption. Some processes take multiple steps, which may slow down users who are used to more intuitive platforms.

However, once properly implemented and supported with internal documentation or training, the system becomes much easier to navigate and manage. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Robust DAM and Workflow Automation, Some Setup Complexities"
What do you like best about Aprimo?

I like Aprimo for its robust digital asset management capabilities combined with workflow automation, which help enforce brand governance at scale. It centralizes assets in a single system of record, solves challenges around version control and distribution, and streamlines approval workflows while improving visibility. This reduces time spent searching for content across teams and channels, making it easier to scale content production and maintain consistency. Additionally, I found the initial setup of Aprimo to be very easy. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Aprimo?

Some workflows and configurations can be complex to set up and require ongoing administration. Ideally, more out-of-the-box templates, clearer dependency mapping, and simpler admin controls would help. It would also be great to have bulk-editing capabilities to reduce manual updates. "Aprimo Centralizes the Entire Content Lifecycle Brilliantly"
What do you like best about Aprimo?

The absolute standout for me is how Aprimo centralizes the entire content lifecycle. Most tools are either just a Digital Asset Management (DAM) system or just a project management tool. Aprimo bridges that gap perfectly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Aprimo?

What I find most frustrating is the sheer complexity of the initial setup and the steep learning curve that comes with it; it’s definitely not a "plug-and-play" solution, and you really need a dedicated admin who understands your specific taxonomy to make it functional. The user interface can feel quite dense and non-intuitive for occasional users, often requiring too many clicks for simple tasks, which can hinder adoption across less tech-savvy teams. Additionally, while the platform is incredibly powerful, the performance can lag when handling massive asset libraries, and I've found that getting specialized support for custom dashboard modifications often takes longer than it should and sometimes comes with an extra price tag.
