What do you like best about Sitecore?

What do you dislike about Sitecore?

Redesigns are dangerous, and the majority of the time, updates are not checked and tried by the group exhaustively. Many elements evaporate during the time spent going from web structures to MVC. Sitecore is for any modern digital solution. I have worked on Sitecore for the medical, financial, education&study, Commerce(shopping) domains. To develop an application, Sitecore itself provide the best content management system, Headless approach(any Javascript technology can be used), SXA(Quickly application development tool), Solr & Azure search engine for application, Out of box personalization and marketing features, and automation for marketers and customer friendly.

1. License cost is very high.

2. There is no developer license.

What problems is Sitecore solving and how is that benefiting you?

I am facing an issue working on item service in Sitecore 8.1, cors policy issue accessing those endpoints on other JS technology. It is resolved in current versions of Sitecore, but in Sitecore 8.1 there is less option for access directly items outside the Sitecore.

But I after some discussion with the Sitecore community, I got the solution to use the write and override pipeline to resolve this issue. Sitecore pipeline are easly customizable or you can you can write custom pipeline to solve your problem in Sitecore. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

For insurance domain you should go with it snd can use workflows for Quote and policy forms with multi level approval and marketing automation.

For your business tool kit or product display, it will serve you best in class and fastest way to built you site. Lots of content management, marketing and great analytics features.

For e-commerce, it's a great tool.
