**What do you like best about Claravine?**

I love how Claravine allows you to get links super quickly, as the platform is very intuitive and easy to use, which has helped me a lot. The parameterization of links has been a great tool for effectively tracking the flow of sending emails and WhatsApps, allowing us to accurately check our KPIs and metrics. Additionally, the interface and layout are very easy to access and use. I recommend this platform to everyone who needs it, as it is really good. I intend to keep using it a lot. I find it super easy and intuitive, I didn't even need to do a complicated setup. In a few seconds, the link was already parameterized. It is one of the fastest and most intuitive tools I have ever used. The link parameterization functionality greatly assists in daily practice and significantly speeds up results.

**What do you dislike about Claravine?**

I wish there was the possibility of having templates, being pre-filled. Because many of the data I use are always the same. So if they were already there, if they were always pre-filled, only needing to change, for example, the name, the material code, it would be very useful, because the only thing that changes is the name, the code, and the link. The rest is always the same, so if I could already keep it pre-filled, it would be even easier and faster.

Claravine helps me parameterize links quickly and intuitively, facilitating the tracking of emails and metrics. This assists my daily routine and accelerates results.

**What do you like best about Claravine?**

The ease of use,  the possibility to create favorite templates to be quicker, and the possibility to fill out one line and just duplicate the information from those lines into the next ones. Being able to download the files directly also makes it quicker to work, and most of the time, the submissions are sent fast, which helps when there are a lot of activities to be worked on.
I find Claravine easy to use, the templates are simple with only the basic information to be filled out, which helps considering there are at times many lines of links to be submitted. We also have great support whenever we need it, always quick.

**What do you dislike about Claravine?**

Not sure if this is something I'm just not aware of how to do, but having to create new submissions and not be able to copy from a previous one is a downside. Right now we are working with duplicate activities, one for Consumer and one for SB, with the same content, only different tracking, but it's necessary to redo the submission for the second version. Would love to be able to copy and just update some fields.

**What problems is Claravine solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our main goal is for reporting, so we have detailed and accurate information for every link that we are sending to customers, and can track the interaction they have with our company. Our benefit is to be able to improve our communication, considering we know what people are engaging with the most, and works the best or has to be changed.

**What do you like best about Claravine?**

This helps organize the data without spelling or typos errors. Especially useful when there is much variety of data. It's also very quick in submitting large amounts of data and filters are easy to use.

**What do you dislike about Claravine?**

Some user experience issues. Copy pasting regions and countries sometimes produces errors. The cells change size depending on the place you are in the document, which makes it very confusing when creating submissions with many rows.

Normalizing data for facebook ads, ad sets and campaigns. When working with big teams, it's important the naming processes follow the same convention, to facilitate later data reading

**What do you like best about Claravine?**

Claravine helped streamline our marketing tracking capabilities to be more accurate and fast. Gone are the days of using Google Sheets to build links for digital assets. It was a great onboarding process and Claravine's team basically built everything we needed for our account. Everything from all the fields and values we needed for each digital channel to the integration setup. It was working right away and we moved all our link building tracking to Claravine. I love the Templates feature so it only shows specific fields and values for each specific digital channel we use.

**What do you dislike about Claravine?**

Editing the Templates that our onboarding team built for us was a little confusing. For example, one of the template rules switched the entire value to lower case. I tried to edit this myself but found that there were over 3 different places in the template that could have caused this, I gave up and asked our CSM who quickly made the update.

There's no easy way to duplicate a submission. You have to edit a previous submission, copy and paste it into a new submission.

We needed a tool that would help streamline our company's UTM tracking. It helped improve our efficiency and accuracy in how we look at marketing analytics. It's also integrated into Adobe Analytics so we can filter our reports but the fields and values we used in Claravine.

I love that it is plug and play - you plug in all of the required inputs and it generates a standardized output.

Nothing so far - we setup our templates for the different use cases and have been good to go since!

It solves the biggest problem of campaign standardization/governance of tracking codes. With many individuals creating tracking codes, it gets difficult to scale and ensure everyone is consistent, so we're able to uniformly analyze the backend data. With Claravine, everyone can easily generate their campaign codes.

Claravine's integration makes working with unique click thru URL's per Placement>Ad>Creative in Campaign Manager a breeze vs a hurricane. On average the integration applies the click through URL's almost instantly after the integration is refreshed. The templates are also easy to assemble, working with field sets and pick lists is straightforward, making taxonomy governance the same exact process everytime.

**What do you dislike about Claravine?**

Learning the details and relationships between all the components in the system can take some time and requires some navigating around the platform. Although the integration typically applies click thru URL's quickly there may be a little delay between Claravine and Campaign Manager at times.

Avoiding having to apply unique click thru URL's, avoiding having to do manual QA

Claravine is easy to use, so I'm able to train others in the organization to create our tracking codes. Claravine has built in safeguards that allow users to work without fear of mistakes.

I'm reasonably proficient in Excel. The Claravine templates work like Excel, but there are some Excel shortcut keys I typically use, that are not available in the tool.

We needed a better way for marketers across the world to create accurate and consistent campaign tracking codes for our global campaigns. This tool allows our organization to be better synced, so when we analyze the data we have a more wholistic and accurate picture of our digital marketing efforts.

The platform is friendly and easy to use. For us, one of the biggest strengths is the Adobe Integration. It allows us to get a full view of our traffic.
The great CSM team is another BIG advantage.

**What do you like best about Claravine?**

Apart from the upsides of the product that allow you to efficiently and consistently tag URL's for any tagging you require (we used Adobe Analytics and Google Analytics UTM tagging) - another huge benefit about Claravine is the five-star support provided by the account managers. We were able to create custom templates in Claravine to also ensure we were naming assets correctly, and also feeding data from Claravine in to our other reporting platforms. The team was always happy to help and in the end, the standard product offering they sell, alongside the custom offering they built for us, really created efficiencies across the team, which fed through to the entire business and leadership. Another thing I loved was the automatic excel export to your email of submissions - ten out of ten!

**What do you dislike about Claravine?**

I am unable to think of any downsides. The platform is evolving and I experienced no issues with this.

**What problems is Claravine solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We were solving for inefficiency (using multiple platforms to tag different URL's and different spreadsheets for naming), consistency (no way to reject certain inputs, and the typical excel column drama) as well as reducing the need for manual manipulation of reporting. We were able to solve each of these and truly realised the benefits of having it all within one system.

This has been a huge unlock for our marketing analysis capabilities. It allows us to finally have global standards and governance over metadata capture and tracking links across dozens of media agency teams around the world. Claravine has an easy integration with Adobe Analytics and we were able to set up a custom integration with our internal database.

**What do you dislike about Claravine?**

From an Admin/maintenance standpoint, it is hard to make changes across the dozens of templates I manage. The integrations with ad platforms, such as Google Campaign Manager (DCM), are still pretty manual.
From a user perspective, the bulk upload capability is also still a work in progress.

**Recommendations to others considering Claravine:**

Involve stakeholders (media agencies) as early in the process to do discovery sessions to scope requirements. If you have multiple teams that will be using this, roll out to 1 or 2 teams first and collect all feedback, make tweaks, and then duplicate templates to expand to other teams.

**What problems is Claravine solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Before Claravine, we had no visibility into or ability to standardize marketing links across teams globally. CP Codes were managed by various teams, with different abbreviations, ordering and parameters, and maintained across Excels and/or email where there is tons of room for error. We also have increased the # of metadata fields we can now analyze - from about five before to fifty now.

**What do you like best about Claravine?**

I have worked with Claravine for several years and everyone on our account is responsive. The software operates logically and is highly customizable. Anything I need, I am able to build within the platform. The data flows seamlessly and and the team is agile if there are any discrepancies.

**What do you dislike about Claravine?**

The only issue that I had was shortly after implementation, when we experienced a slight misalignment that caused holes in our data sets. The discrepancy was promptly identified - Claravine swiftly delivered a 3-fold solution. They provided our data team with the missing data to correct our issue in the present tense. They assisted in rolling out a short-term solution that helped the issue from occurring again in the near future like a band-aid and then we collaborated on a long-term solution to solve the root cause. They took the worst thing that happened in our partnership with Claravine and pivoted it into the best thing that has happened in our partnership. 5-Stars.

**What problems is Claravine solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The biggest problem we solved was the long-term fix for a data drift that I explained in my dislike remarks. The issue was immediately identified and a 3-pronged solution was rolled out to resolve the immediate need, fix the problem from happening in the short term while we fixed the root problem to ensure that this data drift never happened again. I could not be happier. The benefits I have realized dovetail with the long-term resolution of the problem they helped me solve. In fixing our discrepancy, we identified a way that our data center could receive Claravine data in real-time. Now, our data center gets Claravine data the moment it is submitted. Its awesome!

Flexibility in creating various types of templates for different stakeholder groups. 

I can update the underlying metadata without having to rely on IT which means I can get it done fast

Platform can be integrated with Amazon S3 to have campaign metadata sent for each submission which can be consumed into existing campaign data staging tables

Still getting adjusted to the new user interface

**Recommendations to others considering Claravine:**

Try before you buy. That's how we got started. Claravine was very willing to start with a proof of value to help us determine if the solution met our requirements. To me, there is no better way in determining fit than to rapidly deploy and iterate in collaboration with stakeholders. This was our approach and we ran the platform for 60 days in order for the digital marketing team to see the value.

**What problems is Claravine solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Standardization of tracking codes across a diverse set of digital marketing teams consisting of internal users and external agencies. 
This has enabled our analytics teams to simplify their logic since there is one standard set of digital channel and platform identifiers.

We are also working with Claravine to automate the flow of campaign metadata from our intake request tool (Workfront) directly into the targeted submission template in order to reduce work required for campaign owners.

**What do you like best about Claravine?**

I love the data governance that Claravine provides. Like most companies, we started out with our UTM generation in a spreadsheet that was shared across subject matter experts, agencies, and anyone else creating UTM links. Because we had so many "cooks in the kitchen," users would often go rogue in what they inputted into different fields. Since even a simple capitalization difference, like "facebook" vs "Facebook" can create two different records in your source/medium reports in GA, we needed to find a different solution. Claravine helped to resolve that problem and so much more.

**What do you dislike about Claravine?**

The user interface isn't very Google Analytics friendly. The tool was mainly built for Adobe users and although we've been able to use it just fine, we wish the verbiage on the UI was a little more intuitive and applicable to the way we use it. Along those lines, we also wish there was just a tad bit more GA integration, maybe pulling in GTM authorization. Despite that, we still absolutely love the tool.

**Recommendations to others considering Claravine:**

If you are currently using spreadsheets with a lot of users using them to generate UTM links, I highly recommend working with Claravine. It has been an amazing onboarding process and for the 1+ years we have been working with them and the tool, everyone has loved it.

Cleaner data/data governance within Google Analytics, which trickles down to proper attribution and reporting for our website traffic and campaigns.

Claravine is often very slow to load, and is prone to bugs. One of the main reasons a client uses Claravine was to ensure that randomly generated codes were unique, however a bug meant that duplicate codes were being produced. Because of this, we need to QA all submissions from Claravine, and it feels like we can't necessarily trust the output.

Any changes and adjustments that need to be made to fit Rogers needs were automatically addressed and we kept improving best practices. The Claravine tool is very user friendly and easy to integrate with the Adobe platform. Personally, I love that we can customize each template that we create in order to meet the users needs. Additionally, the validating process is a huge reassurance to the analytics side of the house because we can ensure that campaigns are properly tagged and will make it into Adobe without user error. Additionally, the new features  (like the bulk upload) are only helping the usability of the platform. We are starting to use Claravine more by onboarding more internal teams onto the platform with all of the new enhancements.

Creating templates can be a little troubling at times as there are so many steps and places we have to check and set up in order for the template to work as expected.

We use Claravine to create custom templates for campaign and content data standards.  This saves our team a lot of time - and the fact that we can allow our marketing partners to "self-service" once we create the templates, is a real time-saver.  The ability to track, view and edit submissions is also a real plus.  Our marketing partners really like the abilith to measure compliance and enable audits, which used to take a lot longer to complete.

The team has found the interface that helps us control metadata access by team and system, to be a bit clunky.  And customer support has been "hit-or-miss."  Some technical and sales turnover has also created a few support gaps but things have been improving.

**What do you like best about Claravine?**

Claravine has allowed our company to manage taxonomy at scale across the globe. There are many tools out there to monitor and validate metadata but governing the implementation across different regions and systems was a challenge we struggled with for years.
It's an easy to use, intuitive interface with a lot of flexibility built in to allow for unique use cases. Implementation and administration is so easy and customer support is among the best I've ever experienced.

**What do you dislike about Claravine?**

There are some limitations on out of the box integrations. The development work necessary on the client side to take advantage of manual data integration with S3 or Azure Blob, etc. is still a roadblock for our company to be able to take full advantage of the capabilities. If there were more integrations built out in a plug-and-play fashion on the Claravine side, the value add would be exponential.
I also wish I could interact with the full database using SQL and export the data a little more readily as well. Currently the ability to export your data is very tedious and disjointed, as it is template-based rather than account- or target-based. I have to rely on exports from the targets themselves to get an aggregate view easily, which also presents some challenges for monitoring. If I wanted to set up alerts to know where the data in the target had a mismatch on the data that was sent to the target from Claravine, this would be pretty difficult to maintain in its current state.

**What problems is Claravine solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Using Claravine, we are able to prevent issues before they occur rather than waste time and resources on correcting errors. By centralizing not only governance but implementation, we've been able to reduce the hours spent troubleshooting, manually applying metadata, and reduce the lines of code necessary for analysis. The benefits of using a system like this have touched many areas of our business: Analytics, IT, digital product, our agency partners, creative, and so on.
One of the first benefits we realized using Claravine to manage taxonomy for digital marketing was our ability to retarget and optimize media based on consistent criteria across all media channels. Prior to implementation, we relied on a few dozen different individuals to maintain a consistent taxonomy across Excel spreadsheets and it always fell out of sync. With Claravine, we have a single source of truth with no room for typos or other human error that can cause unreliable data. The level of confidence in our data has skyrocketed at every level of our organization, from practitioners to executives. We're also able to deliver more timely reporting and insights because metadata cleanup no longer takes up the analyst's time.

The capabilities of the platform are very impressive, and the integration points make this very useful. Overall the tool can be managed by a savvy but not very technical business user. Once your organization gets their heads around the true value of metadata for driving reporting, analysis, segmentation, personalization...essentially everything, the more powerful the tool becomes. 

Claravine is a very high touch organization and in general are both really capable on resolving  problems and providing solutions to extend the product. They also have a large amount of organizational knowledge on how to approach the big, ugly, problems that surround metadata in large complex organizations.

**What do you dislike about Claravine?**

The cost is a bit high, but that is because it is almost a bit of an agency model vs. just a pure tech platform. Since the problems they solve are different, and complex, for each [larger] organization, the cost is justified, but be aware.

Have a good idea of the business problem, and result you want. Outside of that Claravine can then help design a solution on their platform.

The main problem was creation, management, and governance of campaign tracking codes, specifically Adobe Analytics  (equivalent to Google's UTM params).  We had issues around data quality, getting the metadata into Adobe in a timely manner, and maintenance of the tool. Essentially all those problems were almost completely solved by Claravine. Result is higher trust in analysis and reporting coming out of web analytics + much reduced time to keep the data accurate and fresh.

It integrates with Adobe Analytics and the templates are very customizable to meet varying needs of our teams.

You do need to put in some time to think through how to set up the tool, but that is true for most tools.

**What problems is Claravine solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Moving to Claravine has improved our efficiency and accuracy in tracking campaigns. Where we used to have many Excel sheets and a manual process to import data to analytics, we now have a solid process where tracking codes and the meta data are uploaded to analytics real-time. Claravine's staff are knowledgeable and responsive.
