**What do you like best about Procore?**

What I like most about Procore is how it keeps everything in one place. It makes it easy to track RFIs, submittals, drawings, and communication without jumping between systems.

The most helpful part is the real-time updates, which keep the field and office aligned and reduce miscommunication. It also helps standardize workflows, making it easier to stay organized and manage multiple projects at once.

Overall, it improves efficiency, communication, and visibility across projects.

**What do you dislike about Procore?**

One downside of Procore is that it can feel a bit clunky at times, especially when navigating between tools or loading large sets of drawings. There can also be inconsistencies if teams don’t follow the same naming conventions or workflows, which can make things harder to track.

Additionally, some features aren’t as flexible as needed, so teams may still rely on external logs or spreadsheets. Overall, while it’s a powerful platform, it works best when everyone is aligned on how to use it consistently.

**What do you like best about Procore?**

What I like most is how it brings together different areas such as finance, operations, and management. I also love that I can link files and data across the different tools, which makes it easier to keep everything connected.

**What do you dislike about Procore?**

I think what I don’t like is that, if I want to do more advanced tracking across Commitments, Change Orders, and the Bill of Materials, when I attach an Excel sheet to reflect the changes, I have to upload the file again in each of the three tools. It doesn’t update automatically through the integration or with changes made in Office 365.

As a result, I have to manually update the file in each tool where it’s attached. This increases my processing time and makes the coordination work a bit more tedious.

**What problems is Procore solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The integrations between tools like RFIs and Submittals across our company’s Procore and the general contractor’s Procore are very helpful. Being able to link my tasks to the ones created by the general contractor gives me better control over responding to requests and makes it easier to find and reference information later.

**What do you like best about Procore?**

What I like most about Procore is how detailed and thorough the training is. As a student preparing to graduate, I wanted to stay ahead and make myself more marketable to employers, so I decided to start taking Procore courses early. Even though I just began the classes today, I can already see how valuable they are the videos and descriptions are very comprehensive. Even if you don’t remember every detail, the way the material is presented makes it easy to revisit concepts and quickly refresh your memory.

I also really appreciate that the courses are free. Opportunities like this are incredibly valuable especially in today’s competitive job market and they provide a strong advantage for individuals who are just starting out in the field.

**What do you dislike about Procore?**

One drawback of Procore is that the level of detail in the courses can feel a bit overwhelming at first, especially for beginners. There’s a significant amount of information to absorb, which can make it challenging to retain everything on the first pass. Because of this, it may be necessary to revisit certain sections to fully grasp the material.

**What problems is Procore solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Procore helps solve the problem of disorganized project management in the construction industry by bringing everything documents, communication, and project updates into one centralized platform. This reduces confusion, minimizes errors, and improves collaboration among teams.

What stands out to me is the level of detail within the platform it’s impressive and leaves little to no room for human error. The built-in chat feature is also very efficient, providing a quick and easy way to communicate with others in real time. Additionally, the notes section is extremely helpful for clarifying any questions or uncertainties that may come up, ensuring nothing is overlooked.

For me, this is especially beneficial as a student preparing to enter the workforce because it gives me exposure to the tools and systems that are actually used in the industry. Learning Procore not only helps me understand how projects are managed more efficiently but also makes me more prepared and competitive when applying for jobs.

**What do you like best about Procore?**

Great bid platform to save all contacts, easily communicate project details, and host files for internal and external stakeholders.

**What do you dislike about Procore?**

The new bid platform is much better than the legacy, but it's still very slow. And when you create a bid package out of order, you can't reorder them, so that 9C ACT is below 7A TPO Roofing.

Also, I don't like Procore's concept of bid packages. If I had to create a separate bid package just for Roofers, I would have 30-50 bid packages that I would have to jump back and forth to, and the load time is WAY too slow to support that. I'm also not sure how a mass communication would work that way. 

I use bid forms the way the system is set up to use bid packages, so that I can separate all of my trades, but still have them all in one place.

**What problems is Procore solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Bid coverage. Procore is an elite software, so prospective bidders pay attention to the emails. Ultimately I hope that means better coverage. On the subcontractor side, the easier it is for them to get the details of the project and download the plans, the better it is for me that they'll jump through enough hoops and put the project in their bid pipeline.

Ease of use is always the biggest plus. It’s straightforward to navigate and to create items within a project. Procore also does a good job of keeping customers informed whenever the platform is experiencing technical difficulties.

Not much to say. I can’t think of anything else to add right now.

This tool provides project-related information directly to the field in a way that’s easy to access and displayed on field devices in a usable format (e.g., drawings, specs, RFIs, markups, punch lists, etc.). Our goal is for field managers to quickly and efficiently get what they need without being pulled away from actually managing the project.

I like the Drawings tool because it ensures that everyone is using the same current plan set. The distribution capabilities make it easy to distribute project documents and communications to the appropriate parties on the project. I find the RFI tool very helpful as it provides access to all subs and stakeholders, which removes the worry of missing someone who needed the information provided in the RFI. The integration of the change management and budget tools simplifies reconciling the budget by automatically carrying forward the impacts of changes, providing both context and visibility.

The training courses should provide an option to test out for people intimately familiar with the workings of Procore.

Procore solves communication and organization issues, unifying our team. The Drawings tool ensures everyone uses the current plan set. Honestly, the best part is how accessible the certification program is. As an engineer based outside the US, it’s been a game-changer for learning American construction standards without needing to be on a physical job site yet. It’s helping me bridge the gap in my knowledge and boost my CV for free, which is huge for my career growth.

**What do you dislike about Procore?**

I wish there was a free 'sandbox' mode for individuals to just experiment. The courses are great, but I’d love to mess around with the tools on my own without needing a company subscription. It’s hard to build that muscle memory just by following the structured lessons.

I’m using Procore to bridge the gap between my engineering background in Peru and US construction standards. It’s helping me standardize my project management knowledge, specifically around RFIs and submittals, so I can be ready to jump into a US-based role without a huge learning curve.

The learning curve can be steep for new team members and some subcontractors, especially those not used to digital tools on federal projects. It also requires consistent internet connectivity, which can occasionally cause friction on remote areas of the JBLM site.

I like the capabilities and customizations of their business functions. Their software is truly built for the construction industry. The support system behind their team is attractive also. Lastly, their pricing model is effective and cheaper is the software is used more. It's easy to follow and understand.

The training could be a bit more hands on. The customization of the software is so impressive, I almost think a specific training tailored to an individual company would be more effective.

Procore is helping my company solve a large national account with reach across 21 states. Procore helps us centralize our reporting and improve our performance.

**What do you like best about Procore?**

I work in Procore daily.  I like that most of it is very intuitive but, if you run into trouble, you can reach out to the awesome customer support team.  But that's only if you cannot find the answer yourself in the vast support documents that are provided as well as the Procore Community Page.

I also love that ideas can be submitted, voted on and implemented.  I have seen a few suggestions I have either made myself or voted on someone else's idea actually come to fruition.

They are constantly innovating new things to make Procore better, more intuitive, more collaborative, more functional.

**What do you dislike about Procore?**

The integration with QuickBooks (which we currently use) is somewhat limited.  I understand that this may be more on the Intuit side but it limits our use of Procore fully.

**What problems is Procore solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have just starting using Procore for Pre-Construction/Estimating.  This will make the project setup much more seamless and integrated.

It took a very manual process and made it more efficient and effective.

This is a very user-friendly program that even before taking the course I was able to navigate and begin learning the functions with ease.

**What do you dislike about Procore?**

I have only been using for a week now and so far, I have not found anything that is difficult about the program. As a personal preference, I would say for UOL on a product line instead of a dollar amount a time amount and putting a separate area in the estimate form to add your labor rate. That way if a labor rate changes instead of changing it on each item you only have to update your labor rate in one area as the time to install should rarely change.

Speed and ease of creating bid/proposals. Procore is making the estimating process easier and faster.

**What do you like best about Procore?**

Once our team started using it daily, RFIs, drawings, daily logs, and change events all lived in one place. I personally rely on the drawing management and RFIs the most being able to see the latest version instantly has saved us from costly mistakes on site. The mobile app is also a big win, foreman can upload photos and updates straight from the field without waiting to get back to the office.

**What do you dislike about Procore?**

Some features feel overwhelming at first because Procore can do a lot, it's easy to miss certain tools unless you've had proper onboarding. Also, for smaller projects, it can sometimes feel heavier than necessary, and the pricing may be a bit high of you're not using most of the modules.

**What problems is Procore solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Before using it, we dealt with outdated drawings, missed approvals, and long email threads that no one wanted to search through. Now, everyone from project managers to site engineers works off the same information. This has reduced rework, improved accountability and made project reporting much clearer for management. It's helped us stay organised under pressure and keep projects moving without constant follow ups.

Procore has been a strong addition to our workflow, particularly in how it streamlines coordination between our internal team and subcontractors. The centralized access to drawings, specifications, submittals, RFIs, and schedules makes it much easier to keep everyone aligned and working from the same, up-to-date information. Instead of chasing emails or tracking down document versions across multiple platforms, everything is organized in one place and easy to navigate.

At this point, I don’t yet have enough hands-on experience with Procore to point to any major dislikes. We’re still in the early stages of using the platform, so I’m continuing to learn its full range of capabilities and how the workflows fit into our day-to-day use.

I find Procore easy to access job site information, which is essential for managing projects efficiently. The ability to see access pictures is particularly helpful for speeding up jobs near the job site. I also appreciate how easy it is to communicate with everybody involved on the job site. This communication feature is a great advantage for me, especially because most of my jobs are out of town, saving me from traveling long hours. Furthermore, the initial setup of Procore was very easy, and I would highly recommend it to anybody in the construction field.

**What do you like best about Procore?**

Procore does an excellent job of organizing information. It has a relatively short learning curve and support is solid. Implementation can be self performed with little involvement from support and there are a ton of resources online. I basically use this every single day, primarily for drawings as I like the way they handle drawing revisions.

**What do you dislike about Procore?**

Procore is prohibitively expensive and, while marketed to specialty contractors, is very clearly geared to the general contractors. I also find the website incredibly inefficient in how it is coded. Almost every action requires a full page reload and you can't preview PDF files forcing downloads on the regular. For this reason, we often store the documents in a cloud drive separately so we don't have to constantly redownload when jobsites often have data limitations. Lastly, I find the mobile client drawing downloads unreliable and you are regularly left waiting while trying to work something out.

Projects now often have multiple changes throughout the lifecycle. Procore does an excellent job of organizing drawing sets and handling markups associated so that the entire team has the information they need without having to rely on slipsheeted sets.

**What do you like best about Procore?**

I like Procore for its ease of use for basic tasks. Almost everyone in the construction industry seems to know how to view drawings, enter RFIs, and handle the basics. The drawings tool is particularly reliable; you can give it to a subcontractor with limited experience, and you can rest assured they are always looking at the latest version of the drawings with the right information. The initial setup was also very simple. We just gave the project teams access to all the tools and standardized the process for using the financial tools.

**What do you dislike about Procore?**

The more advanced tools require significant setup. Workflows are a prime example. It's a very powerful feature but it takes a lot of time to build out and the person building it out needs to have a lot of experience and background knowledge of how the tools work and what options are available.

**What problems is Procore solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Procore gives me one location for all project data to be shared with everyone involved, and its ease of use for basic tasks means even subcontractors with limited experience stay updated with the right info.

Procore is user-friendly and intuitive. Its many features help General Contractors, Sub-Contractors, and Clients view projects, stay organized, and remain informed throughout the process. The training program is easy to navigate and offers in-depth instruction on Procore’s tools, uses, and features. You don’t have to be a technical wizard to understand the interface, which makes it approachable for a wide range of users.

**What do you dislike about Procore?**

The training videos let me download the script as a .pdf; however, it didn’t include any screenshots. It would be helpful to have screenshots added, or to offer a downloadable manual as well. A helpful feature that could be added is the ability to create fillable PDFs in the Forms application of the Procore program.

**What problems is Procore solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I’ve worked at other companies where everything was filled out manually on paper forms, which led to inconsistencies and errors, as well as lost or misplaced files and communication and workflow bottlenecks. The Procore platform will help eliminate many of these issues.

**What do you like best about Procore?**

I like that Procore is breaking the data silo, which is the thing I like most about it. There are settings in Procore that can be made at a higher level and get reflected into the end tools and users. It's the granular permissions that can be given, which is great for involving all stakeholders like suppliers and vendors without compromising the security of information. The ease of Procore allowing these stakeholders to be invited to use the platform is the biggest feature I like. It's not just a single company using it; even our stakeholders are able to use it.

The reporting side of Procore is something that can be improved. We're not able to write advanced formulas while making the reports.

**What problems is Procore solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Procore to break down data silos, keep data in sync across teams located in different time zones, and ensure all stakeholders have access to a single point of data without confusion.

**What do you like best about Procore?**

It’s very helpful on the jobsite to be able to add information and photos for review. It also helps that I can enter everything as I go, instead of having to complete it after the task is done or at the end of the day.

**What do you dislike about Procore?**

The downside is that if your company doesn’t want to grant the permissions needed, you can’t fully utilize Procore as intended.

**What problems is Procore solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps not having to carry binders and printed copies around on the jobsite. You can pull them up with the touch of a finger.

**What do you like best about Procore?**

It keeps everything in one place and is an easy tool for collaboration. Whether you’re in the office or out in the field, it helps you get real-time updates, which avoids miscommunication.

**What do you dislike about Procore?**

One downside of Procore is that it can feel overwhelming at first, simply because there are so many features and tools. The learning curve can be steep, especially for team members who aren’t very tech-savvy. It can also be expensive for smaller companies, and certain customizations or reports can take extra time to set up exactly the way you want.

**What problems is Procore solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Fewer miscommunications—everyone can always see the latest plans, RFIs, and updates.

Better visibility—budgets, schedules, and change orders are much easier to track in real time.

Improved collaboration—field and office teams stay aligned by working from one shared platform.

**What do you like best about Procore?**

I like how Procore helps organize and streamline tasks by making all information easily accessible in one place. It's great that everything is accessible from one platform, regardless of company or position, which simplifies doing all tasks, storing documents, updating financials, and communicating. The initial setup was very easy, with training available both online and in person. Procore's accessibility and organizational features make it a significant improvement over the previous tools we used, like Oracle.

**What do you dislike about Procore?**

Sometimes functions are hard to find. Sometimes it takes several subsections or clicks to find functions I'm seeking.

**What do you like best about Procore?**

I think the historical archive and databasing are the most functional aspects of Procore.

**What do you dislike about Procore?**

While there are options for naming photos in Procore, not all of the tools can utilize this. I personally use my phone to capture photos and add them as attachments with a name on daily reporting. It is a bit of an extra step, but then the photos can be accessed later for reference on lessons learned or to illustrate how something was accomplished in the past. An easier way to title photos would be greatly appreciated.

**What problems is Procore solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Procore excels at enabling multiple entities to collaborate in one place toward the project's objectives. Each organization or individual involved can access the same shared data, ensuring everyone stays informed. Another advantage is its ability to store historical knowledge, which allows teams to reference past information and gain valuable insights for future projects.
