Whenever I have an issue, I can go there to find a solution (and usually do). You can even sign up to be an influence on future product features and enhancements. **What do you dislike about Revit MEP?** There's a pretty steep learning curve. I started as an AutoCAD user and making the transition was a bit rough. Luckily, the Autodesk Community and Forums are there to assist. **What problems is Revit MEP solving and how is that benefiting you?** I used to hate creating schedules in AutoCAD, but I love the schedules in Revit MEP. This made my AC design 60% faster **What do you dislike about Revit MEP?** Well the only thing I feel missing (I believe it is a hard coding issue) is the ability to attach an air outlet (grill) with long length. The American standard for houses uses short grills and on the floor sometimes due to cooling and heating, but in other places in the world we use long grills (5 to 8 meters), if these features would be available, the software would be amazing **What problems is Revit MEP solving and how is that benefiting you?** It solved the issue with required sections and objects heights (e.g., FCU inside the bathroom) according to ceiling height. Its is a part of revit such as Architecture , Structure. **What do you dislike about Revit MEP?** When you modeling HVAC model and you can create join by using trim extend command but still it show unable to join, as we know if you increase the distance and join again it will take fittings and then after you need to move towards the required location. Also in case of plumbing when you are working on sanitary piping. Sometime it crashes or fatal error. **What problems is Revit MEP solving and how is that benefiting you?** In Revit MEP you can model the Mechanical, Electrical and plumbing model also you can create shop drawings and schedules etc so you can easily find the the quantities of the elements. When it comes to MEP, you have everything at your fingertips. The best thing that I liked specifically related to Electrical modelling, was The feature to create parallel conduits, that is so useful when it comes to modelling of Electrical Rooms. **What do you dislike about Revit MEP?** The 3D navigation can be improved like the one we have in Navisworks or BIM360 Glue. For BIM industry it is really helpful to get schedule, family creation, Quantity take off etc. Its cloud service offers you to collaborate model with other users too. **What do you dislike about Revit MEP?** Few cons are also present like processing time is a little bit more than AutoCAD. Its interface is not so friendly from a user perspective. Sometimes it creates a few fittings automatically which cannot be created in fabrication shops. We can manipulate the data easily which is not efficient as per industry standards. **What problems is Revit MEP solving and how is that benefiting you?** Revit offers you to coordinate model single-handedly but with AutoCAD we need the help of Navisworks.
