Multi-country payroll software manages payroll processing across multiple nations. These solutions create and implement payroll processing rules for numerous countries by tracking and obeying local tax and payment laws. Multi-country payroll also helps companies comply with internal policies and national and international regulations.

Human resources (HR) departments of multinational companies usually implement multi-country payroll software to improve accuracy and pay remote workers in other municipalities across the company. This software can be deployed as part of human capital management or HCM) software or as a standalone product.

They may also be used in conjunction with global hiring software like employer of record (EOR) software and global employment platforms (GEP).

Multi-country payroll software integrates with financial solutions such as accounting software or ERP systems. Integration with local payroll software may also be required when multi-country payroll is not implemented in all locations.

To qualify for inclusion in the Multi-Country Payroll category, a product must:
