I had a very positive experience working with the consultants at Playroll. They were highly supportive and consistently delivered responses within a short turnaround time. The feedback provided was always accurate, clear, and informative.
The onboarding process was seamless and well-organized, with great attention to detail—nothing was overlooked. I also appreciated the company’s commitment to maintaining employee records in a professional manner, fully aligned with the labor regulations in my country.
Overall, I felt confident and well-supported throughout the onboarding process, and it was reassuring to know I was in good hands.

There have been no issues so far, as my employment has only recently started. However, all my experiences with Playroll to date have been very positive.

What stands out most about Playroll is its intuitive user interface and the exceptional clarity of the payroll breakdowns. The platform streamlines what used to be a complex process. Furthermore, their customer support is top-tier - always responsive and reachable via email. I also appreciate their proactive communication, as they consistently keep users updated on new features and important changes.

**What do you dislike about Playroll?**

One area for improvement is the payslip viewing experience. Currently, there is no built-in preview feature, which forces users to download the file just to view the details. It would be much more efficient to have an instant in-browser preview to save time and reduce unnecessary downloads.

**What problems is Playroll solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The password issue and determining whether an email is spam or not are both addressed well. It's easy to request assistance from them, which saves me time.

Playroll is easy to navigate, and all the information I need to check is already there. There’s also a tutorial on how to navigate the whole website, which is helpful for first-timers. So far, the overall navigation has been smooth and straightforward.

The only downside I experienced with Playroll was when I'm trying to go to the time tracking part, it takes time to load I can't say if it's connected to our internet or in the website.

It simplifies the entire payroll and document process for remote team members. Instead of relying on manual emails or multiple platforms, everything is centralized in one place. I can also see my payslips there, and any details I need to check. I can also change any information there if needed.

What stood out most to me was how responsive the support team has been. Whenever I needed referral or employment documents, they were quick to help and I got what I needed without unnecessary back and forth.
I also want to thank the team for how fast they handled my visa transfer. It was completed within a day, which honestly surprised me in a very good way and took a lot of stress off my shoulders.

I really think Playroll is a good platform overall. I like the design of the UI on the website because it's very easy to navigate and I can clearly see and access documents, salary, transactions, banking details, and my schedule, like when I need to file a leave or schedule a working day. The overall UI is great. I also want to commend the service from the employees at Playroll, especially the employee success manager and those who timely respond to my emails despite different working hours. The service is timely, relevant, and good, making it easy to communicate with them and making me appreciate Playroll as a platform.

Maybe what could be improved is the UI of the website. Especially the tutorial since it took me a while to remove the tab for the tutorial since I don't know why it doesn't want to get removed even if I have accomplished everything it requested.

**What do you like best about Playroll?**

We have been using Playroll as our Employer of Record (EOR) since starting operations in South Africa in 2022 and expanded to India in 2023. From day one, the experience has been exceptional. Playroll is incredibly easy to work with, and their processes are accurate and efficient, ensuring compliance and peace of mind in regions we were unfamiliar with.

A special mention to Neil Barratt, Head of Legal, and his team, who have provided outstanding legal assurance throughout. Their expertise and guidance have been invaluable in navigating complex regulations in foreign jurisdictions. What truly sets Playroll apart is how all departments work seamlessly together, synchronizing efforts to deliver positive, timely outcomes every single time.

**What do you dislike about Playroll?**

There is nothing to dislike. It does take a while to get used to having to run everything through another party in regards to team performance, PIP meetings etc but they are so supportive it soon becomes part of the solution.

Playroll have helped us greatly in understanding and navigating the employment requirements and legal accountabilities of operating in new countries outside fo the UK.

I haven't used it enough yet, I just got onboarded, so it's a bit early to say but so far there's a bug from the onboarding tour where the Leave Balances and Applications step is just not getting checked off despite multiple reviews/actions on that step.

Playroll has made taking care of my Payroll and HR needs for myself and my company incredibly streamlined. I don’t even have to think about this on a monthly basis. The platform is extremely easy to use and payroll amendments needing to be made for me are handled timeously and efficiently. I have made some ad hoc requests regarding employment letters for visas and have received what I need within 24 hours. The Playroll Support function is very attentive.

Maybe the platform should indicate the name of the files being uploaded they are usually blank from the user's perspective. 

For example on Job Details, the CV just says "Download File". I would like to see the file name.

Well it lays out most of the work details and I appreciate that. I don't think I've ever seen another platform that is as similar to the platform here. I also like how the site provides job details that I would probably forget, it's a nice reminder feature.

I really like the customer support from Playroll. We always feel very supported and cared for, espacially Amy Smith - the lawyer.  Their customer support is very efficient, and whenever we had any doubts, they answer very fast and are always available. I also appreciate that they have lawyers available to support us with any legal matters or questions. Navigating the platform is very easy, and the user experience is smooth, which makes things simple for us.

Maybe a dedicated account manager, but it's more when you have a higher amount of employees. Our case, we had only one, so it was quite manageable. Maybe with a bigger team, a dedicated account manager would be good.
