The most helpful thing about SPRY is how quick and easy it is to use. It did not take much time to get used to after coming from another EMR system. I love the "verify eligibility" feature that lets me inform patients how much their co-pay is going to be. I am a daily user of SPRY and see several patients a day, and it has made documentation such a smaller portion of my treatment session with my patient, and I can focus more on the patient in front of me. I do not dislike anything about spry! The only feature I would like to be added is something automated to tell me if the insurance the patient has is something that needs a referral or authorization after eval. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Efficiency. I feel like I can document efficiency, thoroughly. Also gives my patients the ability to adjust their own schedule and drop themselves in where they see fit. Coming from a different EMR, I am telling all of my coleagues how exceptional SPRY has been thus far. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
General bugs that are still getting ironed out, but that will come in time. Payment trouble for some patients. Not sure if it is just my browser, but I have to refrest the page a lot with SPRY, as my schedule will not repopulate after I finish documenting for a patient. The Spry team has been incredibly receptive and devoted to solving the major problems that we had with our previous EMR. They communicate well, and make it feel as though their entire team is available at any time to assist with requests, questions, or concerns. The system is very user-friendly, and has improved efficiency across our front desk, clinical, and billing staff. Data migration and integration was painless and accurate. They are constantly working to take feeback from customers and frequently coming out with both new and improved features. We are very satisfied with our switch to Spry. Spry has been very receptive to our customization requests. However, sometimes the customizations take a few days and a few trials to perfect. We also had some minor hiccups with integrations such as scanning and faxing at first, but they were resolved quickly. Overall, any issues we've come across, Spry has been diligent in fixing. The best part of SPRY documentation system is that it is efficient, easy to learn and understand, and allows full autonomy of the clinican and patients for scheduling and handling POCs. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
There should be a biweekly option in the recurrent scheduling area. Also a monthly view of the entire month on 1 screen with the ability to pull just 1 patient's appointments would be nice. Also, an appointment card to text/email once a patient is scheduled out. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Spry has improved all aspects of our company from improving therapist workflow to be able to deliver better outcomes to patients to improving efficiency of all staff including administrative team. It has led to improved reimbursement, happier therapists, and an overall more efficient company. Their AI driven features including instant insurance verification, auto-generated parts of treatment notes, and countless other positive features built into their system have been a gamechanger in multiple aspects.
Their customer support has been elite, with many times they are reaching out to see what our needs are and seek out feedback from our company including our therapists on how to improve the system and support us. Any time we seek support, they are prompt and thorough. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Spry has very little to dislike, especially when compared to other EMR systems that I have experienced in the past with bigger and even smaller companies. With any EMR company, changes are being made to improve the system and there is an adjustment period for therapists and staff overall. Although, with Spry, this has been rolled out smoothly and are positive changes based on feedback from our company including our therapists. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
We love the customization features. Being able to use the slack messaging system allows for prompt responses from the spry team. Larger or more Complicated requests do take
more time.
The platform continues to roll out new features which make the user interaction and workflow more efficient. Setting up virtual meetings with the spry team is a real plus when we need more communication that isn't ideal through slack or email.
Our patients appreciate the text, email reminds and ease of paying bills online.
Customization for appointment type, therapist, etc. via color schemes is really helpful for ease of looking at the schedule. Icons for co-pays, appointment type and status, etc are excellent for ease of looking at the schedule.
Appreciate the system prompting us if information is missing, specifically with billing and units billed.
System allows you to look for an open or un-initiated follow-up soap note/evaluation/ re-evaluations in order not to miss charting and billing. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
There are still features which are not quite up to speed for user efficiency and ease. There is some redundancy in information being requested of patients at the intake portion. Occasionally, like any EMR/tech platform, there are rare glitches, which usually can be easily rectified via a Slack message. Main splash page/homepage could have a more efficient use of space as there is space taken up by unnecessary border line margins. At times, the response to requests for corrections/modifications is excessive and requires follow-up requests; this is rare but does occur. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Spry is great as I can access my schedule online even when not in the office, I have access to the billing portion if patients have questions. It makes scheduling easy as patients can schedule online. They have updated authorization tracking and insurance verification tabs which greatly help with the admin aspects of the job. The documentation is easy to use and straight forward with navigation Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I would like a way for patients to be warned regarding expiring authorizations and not be able to schedule out past their current auth in their chart to prevent any missed tasks. I wish I could add blocks via my phone if I am out of the office. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Spry is an extremely intuitive system with minimal fluff. The most exciting piece about it is that we get to make changes as we go through to help understand what can be refined. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Spry sometimes has a log out or autoupdate feature and can occassionally get flustered with too many inputs Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I appreciate the user-friendly interface of SPRY, which makes navigating scheduling and patient management tasks straightforward. The seamless integration between the scheduling system and the EMR allows for quick access to patient records during appointments. The customizable templates for documentation save time and ensure consistently detailed and accurate records. Additionally, SPRY’s ability to handle more complex workflows supports a variety of our practice's needs, while the system's built-in automated checks significantly improve team efficiency. SPRY is also highly receptive to feedback and continuously works to enhance their tool based on customer input. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
My overall experience with SPRY has been positive. The tool has streamlined many of our daily operations, from scheduling to managing patient records. SPRY has proven to be a reliable and efficient system that supports the needs of our practice well. One area where SPRY could improve is its reporting capabilities. While it covers the basics, more advanced analytics and customizable report options would benefit practices needing to drill down into specific data trends. That said, the SPRY team has been receptive to feedback and is actively working to enhance their reporting features. We look forward to growing with SPRY. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
What We Love About Spry:
* Cutting-Edge Technology: Spry stands out with its use of modern technology and its commitment to staying at the forefront of the field. After extensive research, it’s clear that Spry integrates the latest advancements effectively.
* AI Dictation: The AI dictation feature has drastically reduced the time our therapists spend on initial evaluations, documentation, and daily notes. This improvement allows them to focus more on patient care rather than paperwork.
* Seamless Integration: Spry integrates seamlessly with our existing software, streamlining operations and reducing the need for front office staff, which has significantly boosted productivity.
* Frequent Updates: Spry’s dynamic approach includes new features every two weeks. Their responsiveness to feedback and quick implementation of customizations, such as automated tasks and customizable templates, is highly impressive.
* Billing and Templates: The customizable templates for various insurance plans ensure accurate billing. These templates automatically optimize billing for each insurance and visit type, alleviating therapists from billing concerns.
* Customizable Reminders: The ability to tailor appointment reminders with specific messages and cancellation fees has kept patients well-informed and has improved attendance rates. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Areas for Improvement:
* Billing Module: The in-house billing component is still developing. While customization and automation are progressing, further refinement is needed to elevate it to an industry-leading standard.
* Documentation and Updates: Frequent updates can sometimes cause documentation lag, making it challenging to keep up with changes. However, Spry’s support team is readily available to assist with any questions.
* Patient Management: We were hoping for an automated patient management feature to track patient status from referral to discharge (previously managed with Excel sheets). Features like status tags—such as "Auth Needed," "Auth Pending," "MD Sig Pending," or "Call to Schedule"—are in development and will be a valuable addition.
* Calendar: The appointment calendar could benefit from displaying more critical information directly on the appointment blocks. Currently, more important data requires several clicks to access, whereas our previous EMR provided this information more readily.
* Minor Features: Enhancements are needed for document fax tracking, fax coversheets, and detailed reporting. While these aspects are currently basic, Spry plans to improve them in future updates for a more comprehensive experience. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
