Although at times, the links take a little more time to open, so there is a lag time between clicking and actual execution. It's nice not to have much interaction with them because that means they're doing their job well. The log-in process is easy, just a click from an email, which means I don't have to remember a million passwords. They are usually very responsive to my emails if I do have questions. The initial setup was easy, and they were very responsive during that time. **What do you dislike about Atlas HXM?** The fees charged by Atlas HXM seem excessive, especially with a pay cut of over $500/month USD for just one employee's payroll management. In addition, there were difficulties with the Peruvian tax system not being understood or applied correctly, which led to further reductions in pay. The service provided is quite basic, mainly focusing on receiving money from my company and paying me, with minimal HR support in other areas. Their feedback on my move to Peru regarding tax laws for foreigners could have been better, as it would have been an additional valued service. **What problems is Atlas HXM solving and how is that benefiting you?** Atlas HXM allows me to work for a Canadian company while living in Peru. First, they have an office, but it isn’t kept open, and no one answers the office landline. Next, their HR team is not up to the mark. They don’t communicate proactively, even for something as basic as confirming holiday dates. Atlas HXM’s documents are also questionable. For example, their payslips and legal letters look shady. Employees end up being grilled and cross-questioned about whether these documents are authentic, which is always an embarrassing situation. They are blacklisted by a leading bank in the region. They also still don’t follow fully digital paperwork for everything; a lot of things are printed, signed, and scanned. Their lead time for paperwork feels unrealistic, and the renewal process doesn’t always start on time. There are many errors in the paperwork, and it often has to be redone. Finally, their HR software isn’t intuitive enough. I like the online platform of Atlas and how easy it is to download payroll statement. The platform is user friendly. People who I interacted with are responsive and polite, although I only talked to them very briefly. **What do you dislike about Atlas HXM?** The onboarding process was very difficult. Getting access to the contract was very hard for me. My name was written wrong in the contract therefore none of the verification methods worked. It tool me more than 5 times each time between negotiation rounds to access the contract, which was very frustrating. I also didn't like that I needed to use a 3rd party tool to verify my identity just to review the clauses of the contract. **What problems is Atlas HXM solving and how is that benefiting you?** Atlas allowed my employer to hire me in Germany. Which is a huge benefit for me because being a full time employee is more beneficial for me compared to being a freelancer. Previously as a freelancer my payments didn't come on time. It's great that I have the ability to access my pay stubs and documents effortlessly. The AI reader is particularly helpful as it identifies receipt details like the date, the expense amount, the currency, the vendor, and the amount, which makes handling expenses as simple as taking a picture and uploading it. **What do you dislike about Atlas HXM?** The manual way of putting in receipts does take quite a while, it would be really nice if there was an easier way to have it done. Another thing that I'm not happy with is that because my company is based overseas, the expenses have to be in by a certain date. If they're not, I will not be paid by the end of the month on that.
