What do you like best about Gusto?

The user interface is super friendly. The last (big name) payroll provider I was using was incredibly difficult to navigate the online portal. Gusto has been the opposite. The customer support is prompt and very helpful, typically resolving my issues very quickly. It is also very reasonably priced for my small business with only a couple employees. What do you dislike about Gusto?

I did have some difficulty due to switching to Gusto in the middle of the year, but support was able to help me get accurate journal entries to get everything up to date and accounted for from my previous payroll provider. What problems is Gusto solving and how is that benefiting you?

Keeps my payroll very simple and easy to run twice a month. They withhold and remit all of my state and federal taxes which takes a ton off of my plate. I don't have to hire an admin to handle all of that. I've been able to run my small business with myself taking care of the payroll and benefits administration because of Gusto's ease of use. There are some ADP employees that really take the time to help. Any problem that I have had have been answered by their chat with ease. I use ADP every week and it is a simple process to enter payroll. I really like to be able to easily see what payments are coming out and how much they are on their detailed report so if I do have questions I can contact them directly. ADP has had 2 people that have talked me out of doing the forms online and 1 person (1 of the 2) that just made me feel like a burden. While the platform is great, the exchange rates and FX fees can sometimes be slightly higher than dedicated money transfer services. It isn't a dealbreaker, but it is something to watch out for when processing large multi-currency payrolls. What do you like best about Greenhouse?

I use Greenhouse as our recruitment platform. It streamlines our process by allowing us to view everything going on with candidates for specific roles and of course candidate profiles in general. The automation feature is really helpful, as it makes our job easier by handling tedious tasks that would otherwise take up more time. With automation, we don't have to manually trigger emails in bulk rejection situations or when moving candidates to the next step; the system takes care of that, allowing us to focus on other important recruitment tasks. The staff at Greenhouse is really fast at responding in chat and willing to think in line with my needs. It's also simple to adjust to, which was great for our team. What do you dislike about Greenhouse?

I find that having to have the bright colored screen in Greenhouse kind of affects me throughout the day since I'm having to work in the system all day, five days a week. So, that would be a nice option to have. Also, I think a bit more integration capabilities would be helpful because Greenhouse and Webex can integrate, but not to the full extent that we need to. The tool is quite sophisticated, as it combines all the necessary features a recruiter might need in the selection process. The best liked features I noticed are:

3. Dedicated candidate profile that has every detail combined, easy to access.

What do you dislike about 100Hires?

I have experienced 100hires in the trial mode, therefore it is a bit hard to say what I didn't like, however I can point out some recommendations which I think will take the platform to the next stage.

1. Approval flow - before the requisitions/jobs are posted online or once the offer is created for the candidate.

2. Offer document templates - Having document templates will help recruiters to create offers within the system instead of manually filling the information about the job and the candidate in word document.

3. Integrating the tool with docusign, making it easy for the candidates and the company representative to sign the offer

What do you like best about BambooHR?

What truly distinguishes BambooHR is its outstanding user-friendliness, which benefits everyone in the company—not just the HR department. The platform’s clean and intuitive interface makes handling HR tasks feel almost effortless.

One of the features I appreciate most is Employee Self-Service. It allows our staff to manage their own information, request time off, and access company documents independently, without having to contact HR for every minor update. This autonomy has saved us a considerable amount of administrative time.

The centralized employee database is another major advantage. With all employee data—such as contact details, job history, performance reviews, and PTO balances—stored in one place, we no longer have to juggle multiple spreadsheets. This consolidation has greatly improved our data consistency and accuracy.

Time-off management is also remarkably straightforward. Employees can quickly check their PTO balances and submit time-off requests, while managers can approve them with just one click. What do you dislike about BambooHR?

While BambooHR excels at handling essential HR tasks, there are a few aspects where it could be improved. The performance management module is adequate for straightforward reviews and goal setting, but it lacks some of the advanced features found in specialized performance management tools. Additionally, although the platform’s simplicity is one of its strengths, it can also be restrictive. There is limited flexibility to tailor workflows or data fields beyond the standard settings, which could pose challenges for organizations with highly specific HR needs. What problems is BambooHR solving and how is that benefiting you?

The main challenge that BambooHR has addressed for us is the decentralization and manual handling of HR data. Previously, we managed employee records through spreadsheets, kept documents in separate folders, and relied on email threads for time-off requests. This approach was not only inefficient but also increased the risk of errors and security issues.

One of the biggest advantages has been establishing a single source of truth. Now, all employee information is stored in a centralized and secure location, eliminating data silos and ensuring we always have access to accurate, up-to-date records. This change has saved our HR team a significant amount of time on administrative work.

Having all our data in one system has also enabled us to make data-driven decisions. We can easily generate comprehensive reports on headcount, turnover, and other important metrics, which has elevated HR from a purely administrative role to a strategic partner capable of delivering valuable insights to leadership.

What do you like best about Bullhorn?

Bullhorn is a great Recruiting and Staffing Software. The best part is that we can keep all kind of database in bullhorn which we do on a daily basis. It keeps a great track of candidate, candidate complete profile, submissions, interviews, placements and many more data it can hold of our candidates. I can put note in bullhorn to make the candidate exclusive from whole organization so that if one candidate is in interview process, no one else can submit that to other positions. Bullhorn also keeps the track of candidates like when that candidate was entered in Bullhorn, when he has submitted, when he has got placed, when he has been interviewed and how many times someone has submitted that candidate. Also, the complete profile we can enter of candidate, like address, email, contact, location, visa status, sourced portal etc.

we can also look at our activities of past many years. we can directly get the whole report of different teams. We can also search candidate with a Boolean search, with so many filters according to our need.

What do you dislike about Bullhorn?

There is no dislike of Bullhorn which I see as I am using Bullhorn from past 5+ years in my organization. The only thing i feel sometimes that's its little slow when we open and find things. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Friday?

Friday is extremely user-friendly. We have had a great experience using it weekly, navigating the website and its many helpful features, and getting employees set up. Employees have mentioned that they can use the app easily as well. The customer support is the most responsive I have ever worked with. Any questions are always cleared up the same day! What do you dislike about Friday?

Although the website does usually have a notice, an email would be helpful to remind of legal holidays and their effect on payroll. Also, bring back the "Cue the Confetti" emails! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The design is nice and clean and the platform’s layout is intuitive—no fumbling around to find what I need. Getting things kicked off was also simpler than other tools I've worked with before.

What do you like best about Justworks?

This is my #1 choice for PEOs. The platform is easy to use and navigate, organized and well laid out. From onboarding employees, setting up and enrolling in benefits, 401k, to making personnel changes to salary, titles, etc. this platform is the absolute best. I also love that employers still have control and the ability to make changes on their own as opposed to other PEO platforms.
