What do you like best about Gusto?

I use Gusto for payroll for my small business, and onboarding and payroll deposits have never been easier for me, removing a lot of stress. The onboarding experience is probably my favorite part about the platform. It takes the guesswork out of trying to onboard more than one employee. I'm even informed if an employee hasn't responded to invitations to onboard. I love the referral bonuses, which are a huge plus for the business, adding more money in my pockets. Knowing what posters need to be displayed regarding child labor laws, pay, and unemployment information is incredibly helpful. Employee information is securely stored, which guides new employees on the tasks that need to be completed without them having to call me about everything. The setup was super easy. What do you dislike about Gusto?

What do you like best about Rippling?

I think the Rippling interface is very easy to use and very intuitive, so you don't need much training to be able to use it. You can simply log into the app or the website itself and navigate, learning very quickly how to use it. The platform also makes it more accessible to justify the expenses of my corporate card and makes it easier to manage my vacations and hours. What do you dislike about Rippling?

I think the app does not include all the features that the website has. The app ends up being very simple in terms of functionalities and options. What problems is RUN Powered by ADP solving and how is that benefiting you?

RUN has solved all compliance issues. It can be complicated as a small business when you are growing and hiring new employees, terminating employees. Each state in the US has their own forms and record keeping requirements, and if you are not compliant the fines imposed can cost thousands of dollars. Onboarding, and remaining compliant throughout employment, through the end of employment, is a huge benefit. Now that we use RUN, we do not have to wonder if we have all records up to par. We were able to pre make "new hire" folders ready to use upon onboarding. These folders contain all you need to hire someone properly. Surprisingly there is quite a bit of documentation the employer needs to retain when hiring. What do you like best about Deel Payroll?

I’ve been receiving my payroll through the Deel app, and the experience has been outstanding. The platform is incredibly intuitive and easy to use, taking the stress out of international payments.

What really sets Deel apart is the variety of withdrawal methods. I can easily initiate wire transfers to bank accounts in both the United States and Colombia without any hassle. One of my favorite features is the integration with AstroPay; using my Deel virtual debit card to withdraw money instantly is a total game-changer for immediate liquidity.

Additionally, the exchange rates for USD to COP are very competitive, often much better than traditional banks or other platforms I’ve used. To top it off, their customer support team is always available, responsive, and easy to communicate with whenever I have a question. Highly recommended for any remote worker! What do you dislike about Deel Payroll?

The only downside I’ve noticed is the Android app's performance. On my Motorola smartphone, the app takes a significant amount of time to load—both during the initial login and when switching between tabs. What problems is Deel Payroll solving and how is that benefiting you?

As someone receiving payroll in Colombia from a US employer, Deel has solved my two biggest frustrations: exchange rates and communication.

The #1 reason I recommend Deel is the fair exchange rate. Traditional Colombian banks often offer rates that are 200 pesos below what Deel provides. Over a full paycheck, that difference is massive. I also love the direct link with my employer. The second my employer completes the payroll, I get an automated notification from Deel. Knowing exactly where my money is in real-time is a huge relief. Remote has made my payslip management much easier. I love having one central secure space where all my important documents and payslips can accumulate. Notifications are just right! Important information is placed in the forefront. Applying for leave or adding expenses have never been easier. The app is quick to respond, and just comfortable enough without being overbearing with useless features. My interactions with customer care and the other team members on the development team were also super friendly and helpful and quick to respond. It was super easy for me to start using. No training was required. Incorporating it into my usual payslip management system was effortless, and in fact has now replaced my entire document management system for my employment-related and sensitive documents. What do you dislike about Remote?

I’ve been using Remote for the past six months, and I still haven’t found a single thing I dislike. If anything, the only hiccup I’ve run into was with my most recent expense claim: It showed as “Approved,” but for an entire month it didn’t display the expected payout date. The biggest benefit for me is that I don't have to worry about any legalities, currency exchange or tax issues while receiving my internationally paid salary. What do you like best about UKG Ready?

Our team is able to customize the different platforms to fit our company's needs. And the reporting is top notch. Our fiscal year begins on July 1st. In the past, we've always had to run 2 YTD reports and do a cut and paste job to come up with fiscal year data. I love being able to give the Accounting auditor and the 401k auditor login access each year - so that they can pull the data that they need directly from the system. And once the audit is completed, I can deactivate their access. I love that individuals who leave the organization can still have limited access to the system. They can still see their W2s, pay statements and other tax forms. That eliminates those phone calls and emails each January from individuals who no longer work with the organization. The Time & Attendance platform allowed us to finally get our PTO / Accrual process automated. We have also been able to implement a grant allocation process on the T&A platform as well. Two things that we've had to do manually in other systems. And we were finally able to get rid of a 15 tab Excel document by automating our payroll journal entry. That is something I would list 5 times on repeat. Every system we used in the past always promised that they could integrate with NetSuite (our company's Accounting software). UKG not only promised but they delivered. For once our Accounting Department has been happy with HRs selection of a HRIS. We also had a great implementation team. Love the Open Enrollment platform and the Applicant Tracking platform. We added the Learning module to our platform last month. We are currently reviewing Bryte and Document Manager. What do you dislike about UKG Ready?

Area of improvement: The EverythingBenefits area should really be evaluated. The EDI connection process could be easier. The Performance Review platform could be more intuitive. The workflow process required for this process is unreal. Not sure why the development team is not able to add commas to the dollar amounts on the Applicant Tracking platform. Bullhorn is a great Recruiting and Staffing Software. The best part is that we can keep all kind of database in bullhorn which we do on a daily basis. It keeps a great track of candidate, candidate complete profile, submissions, interviews, placements and many more data it can hold of our candidates. I can put note in bullhorn to make the candidate exclusive from whole organization so that if one candidate is in interview process, no one else can submit that to other positions. Bullhorn also keeps the track of candidates like when that candidate was entered in Bullhorn, when he has submitted, when he has got placed, when he has been interviewed and how many times someone has submitted that candidate. Also, the complete profile we can enter of candidate, like address, email, contact, location, visa status, sourced portal etc.

we can also look at our activities of past many years. we can directly get the whole report of different teams. We can also search candidate with a Boolean search, with so many filters according to our need.

We use Keka for Payroll, Time & Attendance, Performance Management, Onboarding, and core HR. It has helped us a lot in managing all of these areas thanks to its ease of understanding and implementation. Everything is now seamless, which saves us a lot of time and avoids the confusion we used to face. It also keeps all stakeholders and admins informed about everything. Friday is extremely user-friendly. We have had a great experience using it weekly, navigating the website and its many helpful features, and getting employees set up.
