The software is user-friendly, which is a rare quality to find. Coming from a non-technical background, I find it quite straightforward to use. Most of the time, it loads very slowly. It takes a considerable amount of time just to apply for leave, which I find unnecessarily complicated, especially when I try to submit reviews. What do you like best about Gusto?

I was able to set up my pay periods exactly how I wanted them to be scheduled. I tried another app/software before Gusto, and though I follow the instructions that they provided, they were unable to set up my pay roll schedule how I wanted (and what would work best for my small business). I wasted so much time and frustration with them, but Gusto relieved that instantly. Payroll is so fast and so easy to run. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Gusto?

Not sure if this is a Gusto problem or a bank problem, but I wish I had more control over when the funds were deposited into my employee's direct deposit account. It appears as "pending" for them on pay day. I wish I could run the payment a day early so it cleared on the actual pay date, but I am not seeing an option where I can still have Friday as the "pay date" on the paystub but transfer the funds on Thursday. “Effortless Payroll and Time Management with RUN by ADP”
What do you like best about RUN Powered by ADP?

Run by ADP has made my job as the employer, so much easier. I have my employees clock in and out on the TIME section of RUN. ADP then factors the hours for me, I need to click some buttons, and then it submits the payroll. The money is then direct deposited into my employees' accounts. It has made it so much easier then trying to do all of the payroll and time keeping on my own. When it comes time to collecting tax info and 1099 info for my employees, ADP makes it easy and it is ready for me to print when needed. When setting up my employees in the system, it was easy, and then just needed to send over to my employees for them to fill out the rest of their info. ADP has been a life saver, and when I did not need to run payroll, I just continued to pay the monthly bill for ADP, to keep my account open. It has been great to work with ADP. What do you dislike about RUN Powered by ADP?

The ONLY thing I do not like about RUN by ADP is that if my employees need help with their account, they cannot contact IT on their own. They need me present, and I have to do it. I have 1099 clients, so I am not always with them as we have different schedules. So when they are having trouble with their account, it would be so much easier, if they could contact IT on their own- especially when the problem has to do, typically, with the fact that they had an old ADP account from another employer, and now ADP is not connecting correctly for them, with their new employer. What do you like best about Greenhouse?

I use Greenhouse as our recruitment platform. It streamlines our process by allowing us to view everything going on with candidates for specific roles and of course candidate profiles in general. The automation feature is really helpful, as it makes our job easier by handling tedious tasks that would otherwise take up more time. With automation, we don't have to manually trigger emails in bulk rejection situations or when moving candidates to the next step; the system takes care of that, allowing us to focus on other important recruitment tasks. The staff at Greenhouse is really fast at responding in chat and willing to think in line with my needs. It's also simple to adjust to, which was great for our team. What do you dislike about Greenhouse?

I find that having to have the bright colored screen in Greenhouse kind of affects me throughout the day since I'm having to work in the system all day, five days a week. So, that would be a nice option to have. Also, I think a bit more integration capabilities would be helpful because Greenhouse and Webex can integrate, but not to the full extent that we need to. What do you like best about Remote?

I really appreciate Remote for providing easy access to HR processes such as payslip and leave management, as well as employment confirmation letters. I love how I can access Remote easily via the mobile app or desktop site, and the clean, easy-to-use UI is a big plus for me. Their country handbooks are incredibly useful for finding information without having to constantly email HR. The preprogrammed public holidays, down to the specific state, help me plan my time off without needing to refer to multiple different calendars. The initial setup was very seamless, and Remote took care of asking all the right questions and processing necessary documents, including updates to my tax records, which was super helpful. What truly distinguishes BambooHR is its outstanding user-friendliness, which benefits everyone in the company—not just the HR department. The platform’s clean and intuitive interface makes handling HR tasks feel almost effortless.

One of the features I appreciate most is Employee Self-Service. It allows our staff to manage their own information, request time off, and access company documents independently, without having to contact HR for every minor update. This autonomy has saved us a considerable amount of administrative time.

The centralized employee database is another major advantage. With all employee data—such as contact details, job history, performance reviews, and PTO balances—stored in one place, we no longer have to juggle multiple spreadsheets. This consolidation has greatly improved our data consistency and accuracy.

Time-off management is also remarkably straightforward. Employees can quickly check their PTO balances and submit time-off requests, while managers can approve them with just one click. The main challenge that BambooHR has addressed for us is the decentralization and manual handling of HR data. Previously, we managed employee records through spreadsheets, kept documents in separate folders, and relied on email threads for time-off requests. This approach was not only inefficient but also increased the risk of errors and security issues.

One of the biggest advantages has been establishing a single source of truth. Now, all employee information is stored in a centralized and secure location, eliminating data silos and ensuring we always have access to accurate, up-to-date records. This change has saved our HR team a significant amount of time on administrative work.

Having all our data in one system has also enabled us to make data-driven decisions. Bullhorn is a great Recruiting and Staffing Software. The best part is that we can keep all kind of database in bullhorn which we do on a daily basis. It keeps a great track of candidate, candidate complete profile, submissions, interviews, placements and many more data it can hold of our candidates. I can put note in bullhorn to make the candidate exclusive from whole organization so that if one candidate is in interview process, no one else can submit that to other positions. Bullhorn also keeps the track of candidates like when that candidate was entered in Bullhorn, when he has submitted, when he has got placed, when he has been interviewed and how many times someone has submitted that candidate. This is my #1 choice for PEOs. The platform is easy to use and navigate, organized and well laid out. From onboarding employees, setting up and enrolling in benefits, 401k, to making personnel changes to salary, titles, etc. this platform is the absolute best. I also love that employers still have control and the ability to make changes on their own as opposed to other PEO platforms.
