What do you like best about Gusto?

I love that I can go in and edit my hours. I frequently forget to either login or log out and this allows me to post accurate hours for my company without the need to bother our human resources department. I love that I can go on any time and see my past hours worked, my past paycheck details, and my cumulative earnings. I love that there is a way to track paid time off, even though my company doesn't use this, if I were an employer I think this would be a great benefit to me. Gusto also has a great history of my time with my company. Sometimes when completing a variety of personal forms for various reasons, I need to know when my employment started. I can easily get that information from Gusto with a click of a button. Also, when my employer needs updated information about me it is so easy to jump into Gusto and quickly update the information online. Gusto takes me seconds in some cases and on a few minutes in others where it might take 30-60 minutes in other formats! I am forever grateful that my company uses Gusto, making my life as a employee so much easier. Everything moves so quickly on Gusto. Updates happen right away and I can click through multiple areas with ease if needed when completing payroll or forms. Our company has been with Gusto for several years. What do you dislike about Gusto?

One area I think could be improved is the employee profile. Right now, it only allows the employer to make updates; however, I believe it would be helpful—especially for smaller companies like the one I work for—to allow employees to update their own profiles as well.

Prior to using Gusto it was quite difficult to change our working hours if we forgot to login or log out. What do you dislike about Paycom?

I'm really frustrated with Paycom because it creates more problems than it solves. The system is buggy and things break randomly, so I'm always dealing with unexpected issues when staff come to me with problems. For instance, changes in employee profiles aren't automatically updated as you'd expect, leading to tons of extra work like manual corrections and internal audits. There's no test environment either, and it feels like features that could be really helpful are added too late. Plus, their support isn't great. I feel like we're paying a lot just to be part of their user experience team. It also doesn't integrate with any other tools, which is another big downside. Setting it up was a nightmare, especially since Paycom doesn't offer any on-site support to help you understand the system. Overall, I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. What do you like best about Greenhouse?

I like how Greenhouse helps us rack and stack candidates for different jobs. The onboarding feature is great as we hire candidates through Greenhouse and then launch them into onboarding. The reporting functions are really useful for tracking metrics and KPIs. The scorecard features are great because they're very helpful in easily distinguishing different interviews and using the new AI features in the scorecards helps when sending information to hiring managers and leadership. The scorecards also help set up interviews by giving direction and pointing where the interview needs to be focused, whether on the recruiting side, the hiring manager, or the technical screen. Greenhouse gives us everything we need for tracking applicants, gathering resumes, reviewing interviews and offers, and going through approvals for reps and offers. It's a really great tool. What do you dislike about Greenhouse?

The biggest thing that could be improved in Greenhouse is the database searching for candidates. It's really difficult to search for older candidates or those who have applied to previous jobs. The search feature can be effective if you know what you're doing, but it’s tough. For example, when the India T20 World Cup was happening, they created a scorecard where you could play and get some rewards. This kind of activity makes employees feel more comfortable and motivated. What do you like best about Bullhorn?

Bullhorn is a great Recruiting and Staffing Software. The best part is that we can keep all kind of database in bullhorn which we do on a daily basis. It keeps a great track of candidate, candidate complete profile, submissions, interviews, placements and many more data it can hold of our candidates. I can put note in bullhorn to make the candidate exclusive from whole organization so that if one candidate is in interview process, no one else can submit that to other positions. Bullhorn also keeps the track of candidates like when that candidate was entered in Bullhorn, when he has submitted, when he has got placed, when he has been interviewed and how many times someone has submitted that candidate. Also, the complete profile we can enter of candidate, like address, email, contact, location, visa status, sourced portal etc.

we can also look at our activities of past many years. we can directly get the whole report of different teams. We can also search candidate with a Boolean search, with so many filters according to our need.

What do you like best about Keka?

Overall, Keka is a really good product.

We use Keka every day to monitor and manage various aspects of employee records. At a very competitive price, it offers plenty of features to work with.

Here’s what I like about Keka:

1. It allows us to post content, make announcements, and run polls within the platform.

2. Assets inventory: It’s very easy to manage and maintain an assets inventory database in Keka.

3. The remote clock-in feature is very promising. Since we are a remote-working company with flexible hours, we don’t use this feature, but it would be very helpful for teams that need to track employee time.

4. Hiring: From sourcing to hiring to onboarding, we do it all in Keka.

5. Surveys: It’s also very easy to create and send surveys to collect feedback from people within the organization.

6. Document repository: All employee-related e-documents can be stored in one place.

7. Our finance team has set up our tax modules in Keka, which makes filing taxes much easier.

8. Appraisals: It has a comprehensive and customizable appraisal system, and the module can be tailored to your requirements. The auto-generated appraisal letters are a lifesaver if you want to skip the manual work of creating them.

9. Leave management: An easy way to manage and track your own and your team’s leave.

10. Tickets: We use Keka to raise issues related to IT and expenses.

11. Customer support is very prompt in most cases. However, if you need special support, it can take some time to get through.

What do you dislike about Keka?

Overall, I do like Keka—it’s a really good HRMS.

Based on my requirements, there are a few things I don’t like:

1. Surveys: When we create surveys, the only option is to send them to the whole organization. It would be great to have the option to send surveys to specific people as well. I especially felt this need when trying to collect feedback through surveys for new joiners.

Update: this feature is added now, yeay!

2. Recruitment: There are two issues I face with Keka Hire. First, there isn’t an option to send trigger emails that are customized for each stage of the hiring process. Second, the email conversation we have with a candidate isn’t visible in Keka—we have to check Gmail to see the thread. This is a huge area for improvement.

3. Integrations: In our case, there are still a lot of missing product integrations—Slack, for instance. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Friday is extremely user-friendly. We have had a great experience using it weekly, navigating the website and its many helpful features, and getting employees set up. Employees have mentioned that they can use the app easily as well. The customer support is the most responsive I have ever worked with. Any questions are always cleared up the same day! What do you like best about Hireology?

I use Hireology for our hiring process, and it's great for obtaining applicants and running background checks. I really appreciate the integration with Netchex as it makes managing our hiring and HR/Payroll processes much easier. We don't have to manually enter each applicant's information in the HR/Payroll platform, which saves us a lot of time. What do you dislike about Hireology?

A better way to connect with Customer Service would be great. We have had times when we needed to connect with someone very quickly and it was very hard to get in contact with someone. Provide a direct line for clients to contact Hireology, rather than having to try to contact through the Account Manager assigned.
