What do you like best about Rippling?

I find Rippling super easy to use, which is great because I can keep track of anniversaries, trainings, holidays, and reports all in one place. The reports feature is particularly beneficial as my company provides us with a report every six months, and it's really good to go back and check feedback and information from previous reports. I also appreciate that Rippling has improved so much over the past months and now offers everything I need. The initial setup was very easy, allowing me to follow up on all my trainings and company policies in one place, and ensuring that everything was completed during onboarding. What do you like best about Gusto?

I like that Gusto was very automated, sending all the required information to my contractors for them to complete, like their Social Security, which I didn't want to be responsible for handling. What do you dislike about Gusto?

When I used Gusto, my issue was that I clicked the wrong button when initially setting up my account. I needed the service for contractors, but I accidentally selected payroll. They were not able to fix it by removing the one payroll option from my account, so I had to start over and enter all the contractor information again. This was time-consuming as I had over 30 vendors to manage. I just thought they should have had a better fix for that. Also, I ended up getting billed for that one payroll seat which I never used because we only had contractors, not employees. Setting up wasn't the easiest. What do you like best about RUN Powered by ADP?

Run by ADP has made my job as the employer, so much easier. I have my employees clock in and out on the TIME section of RUN. ADP then factors the hours for me, I need to click some buttons, and then it submits the payroll. The money is then direct deposited into my employees' accounts. It has made it so much easier then trying to do all of the payroll and time keeping on my own. When it comes time to collecting tax info and 1099 info for my employees, ADP makes it easy and it is ready for me to print when needed. When setting up my employees in the system, it was easy, and then just needed to send over to my employees for them to fill out the rest of their info. ADP has been a life saver, and when I did not need to run payroll, I just continued to pay the monthly bill for ADP, to keep my account open. It has been great to work with ADP. What do you dislike about RUN Powered by ADP?

The ONLY thing I do not like about RUN by ADP is that if my employees need help with their account, they cannot contact IT on their own. They need me present, and I have to do it. I have 1099 clients, so I am not always with them as we have different schedules. So when they are having trouble with their account, it would be so much easier, if they could contact IT on their own- especially when the problem has to do, typically, with the fact that they had an old ADP account from another employer, and now ADP is not connecting correctly for them, with their new employer. What do you like best about Remote?

I work for a Finnish company, but since I’m based in Spain, I was absolutely certain I didn’t want a freelancer position because taxes here are quite complicated. I made sure to ask about this in every interview. When they explained that they use an EOR and I wouldn’t have to handle anything myself, it was ideal. We even receive benefits through the platform, which makes sense since some Finnish benefits aren’t available in Spain. In the end, it really feels like working for a Spanish company. The chatbot is also quite helpful, and whenever I’ve needed to open a support ticket, the issue was resolved quickly.

What do you dislike about Remote?

The only task I had to handle manually was adjusting our bank holidays. On my island, we have regional holidays, which were already set up, but there are also specific island and city bank holidays. NetSuite is extremely customizable and very consistent. We almost never have downtime, and there's very little it can't do. We have loads of integrations into and out of NetSuite and it continues to perform no matter what we throw at it. The only actual issue that we've had with NetSuite is the reporting/saved searches. Over the last couple of years there's been improvements with that and it's really upped our game as far as doing more directly in NetSuite. AutoLeap allows me to keep track of the customer flow process from estimate to paid status. It's easy to see where each customer is in this process so that communication isn't dropped. What do you like best about Tekmetric?

I love that Tekmetric allows for office staff and technicians can see the same work order without showing too much information. Allowing them to add notes and love that we now have pop ups for all updates as they are complete. Very neat feature. They are always updating and adding new helpful features. We are a lot more efficient by being more streamlined. We used to have drawings of coaches and the papers would get lost or damaged. Tried binders and the same thing happened with those too. What do you dislike about Tekmetric?

The least helpful thing I have found so far are 2 different features.

1) Your customer must be checked as Eligible for AR in order to push over... I'm not entirely sure why they wouldnt be but all of ours are I feel it should be reversed it should auto be checked and uncheck it if they are not. There are more customers that are going to pay than not. When you have several people in the office and not following after yourself its hard to get everyone on board. With checking this one box, that puts a dead holt on transferring transactions over to AR.

2) Applying 1 check to multiple transactions. I hate that when a customer wants a paid transaction I can enter it to show its paid, but then I have to void it because if they have 2 invoices it will show the same check number with a different amt and not blend in the end having to reenter correctly directly into QB. Maybe its the third party program but I feel there should be some way of making this work.. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

2. Sometimes employee come and ask for letters like their employment letter, salary slips for taking loan from banks, good behavior certificate, now all can be generated from HROne only and will be shared directly to employee profile.

The dashbord is very useful for the full picture of my businesses accounting. When running around Chicago coordinating vendors and dealing with bridezillas (usually clients are lovely, usually), I just need to open my laptop and see where the money is. I love that I can invoice a couple for a deposit right from my phone wile at a venue. It looks clean, not old clunky spreadsheet I used to work with. The way they designed this service is a vibe. It separates my revenue streams so I can actually see what;s making money. Performance Management - we previously utilized Excel, and that was a nightmare with saving and updating versions, revisions of forms, etc. Additionally, UKG is resolving the Professional Development Log (basically continuing credits/sessions that teachers require to complete). In the past, we utilized Excel, and with an abundance of users, the templates we set up would always have issues or the formula would get changed, and the numbers wouldn't add up, etc. Therefore, housing the sessions in UKG and ensuring the addition of the hours in the system allowed for better data and an efficient process for all individuals involved. What do you like best about Stampli?

I believe Stampli will help my company hold our accounting department accountable (haha) for making sure our vendors are paid on time and that invoices are being sent to the correct department. The AI side of things makes invoices very easy to use, and has seemingly helped our accounting department with matching PO's to who they're supposed to go to. We had a hour long training session, but everything is honestly so easy to use and implement that we all feel we didn't really need it. I haven't had to use customer support yet, strictly because of how simple it is. This has been a slow month for us, so I haven't used it a ton, but I will say that I haven't had any issues of invoices not getting paid since starting Stampli. What problems is Zenskar solving and how is that benefiting you?

Our Law toolbox subsidiary is painful. Senior accountants manually raise invoices, download data from partner portals, and track revenue in Excel and partially in Recurly. We can't even pull basic metrics like churn or renewal rates because the data is everywhere.

Zenskar automates billing, ties cash application and rev rec to the same data source, and finally gives us proper SaaS reporting. Less manual work, a single source of truth, and the visibility we need as we prepare for IPO. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about BILL AP/AR?

We occasionally have concerns about the automatic network connection with other vendors. For example, there was a time when we unintentionally connected with a vendor who shared the exact same name as another, and we failed to notice the mistake before a payment was processed. BILL AP helps us save time on data entry by remembering the coding from previous invoices. We also appreciate the BILL email feature, which allows us to send invoices directly to BILL from our email, including their attachments. What do you like best about Justworks?

This is my #1 choice for PEOs. The platform is easy to use and navigate, organized and well laid out. From onboarding employees, setting up and enrolling in benefits, 401k, to making personnel changes to salary, titles, etc. this platform is the absolute best. I also love that employers still have control and the ability to make changes on their own as opposed to other PEO platforms. What do you like best about Friday?

Friday is extremely user-friendly. We have had a great experience using it weekly, navigating the website and its many helpful features, and getting employees set up. Employees have mentioned that they can use the app easily as well. The customer support is the most responsive I have ever worked with. Any questions are always cleared up the same day! What do you dislike about Friday?

Although the website does usually have a notice, an email would be helpful to remind of legal holidays and their effect on payroll. Also, bring back the "Cue the Confetti" emails! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
