What do you like best about Rippling?

I really like using Rippling because it brings most functional products like payroll, time off, T&E, into one streamlined platform. It’s intuitive and easy to navigate, which saves our team time and reduces administrative back-and-forth. I especially appreciate how automated workflows keep processes moving efficiently while still giving us the visibility and control we need. What do you dislike about Rippling?

Our implementation experience with Rippling was extremely disappointing. The teams operated in silos and often seemed more focused on securing five-star reviews than ensuring we were genuinely comfortable and confident using the platform. Instead of providing hands-on, practical support, we were directed to hours of videos and tutorials. Too frequently, issues were escalated by “submitting an engineering ticket,” which made it feel as though no one on the implementation team had the expertise or authority to actually resolve problems in real time. One particularly frustrating example was when a team “took a correction payroll off our plate,” only to create significant additional issues for us. The effort required to secure any meaningful make-good was exhausting, and Rippling did very little to proactively rectify the problems or rebuild trust. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Rippling's automation and workflows are still in process of being built, but they will remove the admin of onboarding, off boarding, employee experience surveys, expensing, and more. What do you like best about Gusto?

I like that Gusto is incredibly user-friendly. Its super easy to find my tax forms or update my account info. The layout is clean and actually feels like a modern app you want to use. I log in often to check my pay stubs and while I haven't had to contact their customer service, I can usually find any answers I might need in their Help Center articles. What do you dislike about Gusto?

One thing I’d love to see improved is the dashboard layout. I really miss being able to see my pay info directly on the home screen as soon as I log in. Now, it feels like I have to jump through a few extra hoops just to see the basic breakdown of my latest check. What do you like best about RUN Powered by ADP?

I really like that ADP is a user-friendly platform. Everything is very organized and intuitive. Even if someone who has never used it before logs in, it's not very difficult to figure out. It's very comprehensive. I've used other platforms, and so far, ADP is my favorite. Customer support is good. although sometimes there is a long queue, the agents always help to resolve all questions and concerns. What do you dislike about RUN Powered by ADP?

There are some things that cannot be handled unless authorization has been granted, such as Workers Comp. This has been requested on more than two occasions, by phone and by mail, and we have not received any updates on this matter. ADP helps us a lot with the notifications we receive from the states. Whenever we have any questions or concerns about a specific issue, we can resolve them with the support team. Xero is great of how simple it makes invoicing and tracking payments. I can create and send invoices right from the platform, and clients can pay through paypal, which fit well with how i alreday run things. Matching payments to invoices is easy straightforward and i really appreciate having all my subscription and monthly expenses in one spot. I really like that NetSuite is very easy to customize. You can hire a consultant to customize the system or write a script, and the system can be expanded or tailored based on different business needs, making it almost like a bespoke system for any business. It's also very easy to use and understand. Being a 100% cloud-based system is a great benefit, especially since we have people working across the globe and it allows us to see data in real-time without waiting for transactions to process. Sometimes, if there's a feature that doesn't work with NetSuite, it can take ages for them to address it with an enhancement because not a lot of customers may want it. I would prefer if our technicians could have more options on the app like other apps have where you can scan the VIN and then the information is already added in. Stampli completely changed how our company sends out invoices for approval before payment. Before Stampli, I was being sent invoices for approval over email. This lead to some invoices slipping through the cracks and being lost until down the road, the accounting team would follow up and ask for approval again. I love how easy to use it is and how friendly it is with everything. It's very straightforward if you want to take a look into something. Especially making payments, I think the AP part is the one that I am the happiest with because it saves a lot of time. I would love to see improvements in merging vendors. It's a hassle when the vendor details don't work because of payment details or address errors, you have to create a new vendor for that transaction instead of changing it within the existing vendor. What do you like best about UKG Ready?

Our team is able to customize the different platforms to fit our company's needs. And the reporting is top notch. Our fiscal year begins on July 1st. In the past, we've always had to run 2 YTD reports and do a cut and paste job to come up with fiscal year data. I love being able to give the Accounting auditor and the 401k auditor login access each year - so that they can pull the data that they need directly from the system. And once the audit is completed, I can deactivate their access. I love that individuals who leave the organization can still have limited access to the system. They can still see their W2s, pay statements and other tax forms. That eliminates those phone calls and emails each January from individuals who no longer work with the organization. The Time & Attendance platform allowed us to finally get our PTO / Accrual process automated. We have also been able to implement a grant allocation process on the T&A platform as well. Two things that we've had to do manually in other systems. And we were finally able to get rid of a 15 tab Excel document by automating our payroll journal entry. That is something I would list 5 times on repeat. Every system we used in the past always promised that they could integrate with NetSuite (our company's Accounting software). UKG not only promised but they delivered. For once our Accounting Department has been happy with HRs selection of a HRIS. We also had a great implementation team. Love the Open Enrollment platform and the Applicant Tracking platform. We added the Learning module to our platform last month. We are currently reviewing Bryte and Document Manager. What do you dislike about UKG Ready?

Area of improvement: The EverythingBenefits area should really be evaluated. The EDI connection process could be easier. The Performance Review platform could be more intuitive. The workflow process required for this process is unreal. Not sure why the development team is not able to add commas to the dollar amounts on the Applicant Tracking platform. Friday is extremely user-friendly. We have had a great experience using it weekly, navigating the website and its many helpful features, and getting employees set up. Employees have mentioned that they can use the app easily as well. The customer support is the most responsive I have ever worked with. Any questions are always cleared up the same day! What do you dislike about Friday?

What do you like best about Refrens Accounting?

I used Refrens’ free version for a while and found it extremely useful. I was a bit hesitant to upgrade, but after using the premium version for a year, I can honestly say it’s the best accounting software out there—especially at such a low cost.

Refrens requires an active internet connection or mobile data to function properly, which can be inconvenient in areas with poor connectivity. Since it is cloud-based, offline access is limited or unavailable. Some advanced accounting or reporting features found in more expensive enterprise software may be missing, which could be a limitation for larger or more complex businesses. What do you like best about MonetizeNow?

MonetizeNow has improved our contracting process in several ways. It has sped up approvals, given reps the ability to send contracts for signature instead of relying on dealdesk, and automated much of our deal data in Hubspot, including line items, ARR, TCV, etc. MonetizeNow has also helped us automate renewals and finally capture renewal data in Hubspot, rather than tracking it manually in a Google Sheet.

However, the best part of working with MonetizeNow has been Perry and the customer success team. They are genuinely attentive and provide a best-in-class CS experience.

There’s a learning curve with any software, especially CPQ, so be ready to learn a lot in a short time and to help guide reps who have never used it before.
