What do you like best about Coefficient?

I've been using Coefficient for collaboration across departments, and it's been really helpful. Having all our data in a single Excel sheet that's always updated makes it easy for different teams to stay aligned (marketing-sales mostly). What do you dislike about Coefficient?

While Coefficient is great for centralizing data, it does have a bit of a downside. The data comes in a format that’s not always ideal, so you end up needing quite a few formulas to rearrange it into the structure you want—whether that's adjusting columns, rows, or KPIs. Coefficient solves a big issue of having a clear overview of data across all departments. What do you like best about Coefficient?

all the manual update work is automated and it is super friendly Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Coefficient?

I would prefer more flexibility, on the refresh option. It is great that data can be updated hourly. But for some reports I would like to have end date of the updates, like for Quarterly data. So I can set up the last working day of the Q, and allow for the data to not get changed any more. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

We can actually support your need for flexibility with our Snapshots functionality. If you click on Automations on your home screen and then Data Snapshots, you can automatically store historical snapshots of data in your sheet! Hope this helps.

"Makes life easier: fills the gaps in the Sheets API"

What do you like best about Coefficient?

Coefficient has given me hours of my life back. I handle Marketing Ops at my company, which involves a good deal of ensuring that partners within the company and outside of it have the data they need in the tools they already use. An agency partner needed data in a spreadsheet; where we used to use clunky workarounds, Coefficient has enabled us to sync data from the CRM to the spreadsheet for the agency with a miniscule amount of setup. What do you dislike about Coefficient?

Tiny quibble, may be impossible to resolve: I wish Coefficient could create sheets synced from another tool (e.g., a CRM) without the blue Coefficient banner as the first row. "Great for Teams — Simple, Fast, and No Heavy Setup Needed"

What do you like best about Coefficient?

Even if you're already familiar with spreadsheet formulas, Coefficient is super easy to pick up. It doesn’t take long to get used to, and it runs really smoothly even on laptops that aren't super powerful. I also like that you can keep everything in one file instead of juggling multiple tools. It’s a great way to get your team up and running without needing a lot of training or onboarding time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Coefficient?

The auto-refresh feature doesn’t always work when you use certain filters, and there’s no clear message explaining why it failed. It’d be helpful to have more detailed error messages so users aren’t stuck guessing. Also, I tend to build similar Looker setups across different spreadsheets, so having a way to copy and paste configurations or create reusable templates would save a lot of time. I use Coefficient to pull in data and quickly create summaries that are easy to share with other teams. Totally understand the challenge of getting new teammates up to speed. For most that are just viewing reports based on Coefficient imports, they won't even need to know it's there, but it sounds like your team members are wanting to do some last mile analysis and other data pulls and workflows on their own?

I'd definitely recommend having them join the Coefficient user community on Slack: https://coefficient.io/community It's a great resource for folks just getting started as well.
