Custom reports have been upgraded and work well now, but were too limited when we first started with Archie. There are minor issues here and there, for instance settings there are not self-explanatory on what they do. Never came across any bug or downtime though, so that's great. We previously had little data on how much space we needed or how the facility itself should be configured. We like that we are able to see who is in the office for the day; We like that we can go back and see who was in the office on certain dates to verify if employees did in fact attend a training; We like that it notifies all of HQ employees when expected/unexpected guests have arrived via email; We like that we can add in expected guests into the system ahead of time, making the sign in process easier & quicker; Achilles and Damjan have been great when it comes to Customer Support, they were able to customize the sign in fields to our needs; The integration process has been great with our employees, it is easy to use with the QR code Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about FacilityOS?

We can now see who is in the building for the day, especially if we missed them come into the door. Our office is hybrid, so this allows us to let unexpected guests know whether or not someone is in the office to be able to help them with their needs. It has also allowed our front desk to see if we have trainings for the day and how many people we are expecting at different times which lets us know when it may get busy in the lobby. The AI Note Taker and the pre-meeting brief summary generator have been especially valuable. These features save us a lot of time each day, help us stay organized, and make meeting preparation much more efficient.

The appointment reminders and scheduling tools have also been extremely helpful. Being able to automate them in advance has improved consistency and reduced the need for manual follow-up.

This isn’t really a dislike, but I’d like to see more file-sharing programs integrated. Right now, Dropbox is the only option available for clients to upload documents prior to a meeting. We’ve had a great experience using GReminders as part of our workflow every day. The AI Note Taker and pre-meeting brief summary generator have been especially valuable. Both features save us a lot of time, help us stay organized, and make meeting preparation much more efficient.

The appointment reminders and scheduling tools have also been extremely helpful. Being able to automate these ahead of time has improved consistency and reduced manual follow-up.

One thing I’m especially looking forward to is even deeper integration with Redtail CRM, which will make the workflow even more seamless for our team.

What do you like best about Waitwhile?

I use Waitwhile because it's incredibly easy to enter the customer information into, and the edit feature comes in handy when adding new order numbers to an existing wait. It really helps since our customers often place more than one order by purchasing in different departments of our store. Adding additional order numbers alerts our staff to gather all orders for the customer before telling them to come to the collection point. I'm not sure if the staff who prepare orders get notified when we edit their Waitwhile system, or if when they go to submit a prepared order as ready to collect they see the edits and need to begin gathering at that time which could delay the customers collection of their multiple orders. What do you like best about Qminder?

I genuinely appreciate how Qminder significantly enhances the organization of our everyday company operations. The system is adept at keeping meticulous track of who enters and the sequence of their arrival, which is crucial for maintaining a structured environment. I find the capability to monitor those checking in immensely beneficial, as it helps me understand how many people we have assisted throughout the day, providing a clear picture of our productivity and service efficiency. The user-friendly nature of Qminder made the initial setup very simple, which was a welcome relief and allowed us to integrate it seamlessly into our operations. What do you dislike about Qminder?

I wish there was a way to assign a customer in the queue to a specific client. Sometimes, when an associate is actively working with a customer, they forget to claim the customer in the queue. “Just Ok - Fair fee costs, good tools for inventory, lacking in support”
What do you like best about Square Point of Sale?

Square for Retail has great features for inventory tracking, including a receiving feature and cost of goods reports. Transactions are generally quick and easy on the point of sale register or handheld terminal, and Square provides nonprofits like ours with a discounted credit card processing rate. Switching from Clover POS to Square POS has allowed us to save on processing fees and helps us keep better track of our inventory. It also allows us to use online payment links without needing a full online store. Another feature we like is the Customer Directory, which automatically captures customer data, as well as allows us to group customers so we can give unique discounts to different membership levels. The directory is also helpful for reporting visitor demographics and visitor return rates (we can see who returns weekly, monthly, or has visited only once). What do you dislike about Square Point of Sale?

The major downside of Square is it's lack of adequate customer support. I often have to wait hours on the phone, only to be told there is a glitch or issue that nobody knows how to fix yet, After several days, the issue may resolve itself, but I am never followed up with, and never informed of what caused the issue or how it was fixed.

While Square advertises it has integrations with many other software products, we have found that most of those integrations are actually not customizable enough for our needs. For example, only a few of the fields are able to be sent through third party integration apps like Zapier. We have also tried the Quickbooks integration (it only sent a general sales figure over, not different figures for nontaxable and taxable sales), and the WooCommerce integration (cannot use products with multiple variable features online - like a tee shirt with a size variation AND a color variation), so we have not been able to use any integrations.
