**What do you like best about ICIMS?**

iCIMS offers amazing platform for Talent management. It's offer center capabilities really prove to be very helpful for our recruiters. It's user friendly configuration is easy to manage and provide wide range of options to set up HR processes as per your business requirements especially where you manage multiple clients/agencies under one parent group.

**What do you dislike about ICIMS?**

Major downside of iCIMS is it allows duplicate entry under field, there's no check for that and other one is we can only export 50 K records through iCIMS reporting which creates issue when your data volume is really high.

**What problems is ICIMS solving and how is that benefiting you?**

iCIMS fulfilling all our ATS needs , as no system can be 100 % correct therefore here also we face some issues which are no showstopper actually. It's wide range of options under configurations really makes it user go product

**What do you like best about ICIMS?**

What I like best about iCIMS is its user-friendly interface and robust applicant tracking capabilities. It allows me to efficiently manage candidates throughout the entire hiring process, from application to onboarding, while keeping communication organized and centralized. I also appreciate the reporting tools and customization options, which help streamline workflows and support informed hiring decisions.

**What do you dislike about ICIMS?**

What I dislike about iCIMS is that some processes can feel overly complex or require multiple steps to complete simple tasks. The system can also be slow at times, and certain features are not as intuitive as they could be, which can impact efficiency during high-volume recruiting.

**What problems is ICIMS solving and how is that benefiting you?**

iCIMS solves the challenge of managing high volumes of candidates by centralizing the entire recruiting process in one system. It helps organize applications, track candidate progress, and streamline communication with both candidates and hiring managers. This benefits me by improving efficiency, reducing manual work, and ensuring nothing falls through the cracks, especially when managing multiple requisitions at once

**What do you like best about ICIMS?**

It’s easy for end users to use and integrates well with IT and HR for provisioning and onboarding. It’s customizable, has a nice reporting system, and helps streamline the auditing process. It also works well with AD (Entra as well), and performs well with the API and connectors. Overall, it feels worth the price, and it’s SSO-friendly and compliant.

**What do you dislike about ICIMS?**

Sometimes the integration doesn’t sync properly, especially when new users or job titles are added. Sandbox testing can also be frustrating because of its limitations.Also, role access overlapping.

**What problems is ICIMS solving and how is that benefiting you?**

iCIMS helps simplify and organize our hiring process by keeping everything in one place. That saves me time, improves visibility, and makes it easier for everyone involved—from recruiters to IT—to do their jobs more smoothly.

**What do you like best about ICIMS?**

The automation between the candidate stage and the reference check remains seamless. We’ve seen a consistent turnaround of under 48 hours, which allows us to close offers much faster in a competitive market

**What do you dislike about ICIMS?**

While the desktop interface is great, further streamlining the mobile consent process for candidates would be a plus, as many of our applicants are completing these steps on the go

**Recommendations to others considering ICIMS:**

For an organization that hires more than a handful of employees each month, SkillSurvey provides a great platform and solution to automate an outdated process, eliminate bias and provide data to benchmark all hires.  For organizations that do not have volume hiring, you still get the added benefits of a streamlined reference process but may not find that it is not worth the cost.

**What problems is ICIMS solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Automation of the process through SkillSurvey is key.  It saves our recruiters time calling and scheduling reference checks and allows those providing references to answer at their leisure.  The ability to provide a concise overview of the reference and benchmarking is helpful and unbiased.

It is a robust system and has A lot of great reporting and data analysis and staffing reporting

The interface is still older and a platform hasn't updated. Switching the tab to the new items requires a new training process

Items is a ATS and allows us to trap our applicants and to onboard them properly in addition to creating a database of potential future employees

What I like best—and what I don’t like at all—is that it’s so customizable. That’s wonderful, but at the same time I feel like I need a background in programming to really use it.

It’s hard to get quick help, and I also find it difficult to clearly explain what I need.

We use it for our ATS, so we currently handle all hiring and onboarding through it as well.

**What do you like best about ICIMS?**

We are very impressed with the number of features for talent assessment and the excellent ease of integration. The built-in language tests are seamless. For our team, the frequency of use is daily, as we rely on these integrated tools to screen candidates efficiently. Having everything in one platform with a single login truly saves a significant amount of time, just as their customer testimonial suggests. The ability to connect with other assessment providers adds great flexibility.

**What do you dislike about ICIMS?**

The main drawbacks are the overall ease of use and the initial ease of implementation. While powerful, the interface isn't always intuitive, and setting up the various third-party assessment integrations from the marketplace was a complex project. Furthermore, when an issue arises with one of these integrated tools, getting effective customer support can be complicated, as it's not always clear if the problem lies with iCIMS or the third-party provider, leading to delays.

**What problems is ICIMS solving and how is that benefiting you?**

iCIMS solves the significant logistical problem of manually sending, tracking, and evaluating English language tests for our candidates. The benefit is a streamlined, automated process that saves valuable time and immediately improves the quality of our candidate screening. Before, our process was completely manual and inefficient. For every candidate who needed a language evaluation, our recruiters had to individually email them a test link. They then had to track completions in a separate spreadsheet, log into the test provider's website to find the results, and finally, manually copy and paste the score back into the candidate's profile in our system. This created a slow, disconnected workflow that was prone to human error and wasted a lot of administrative time. The key benefit is that the English language assessment is fully integrated within the iCIMS platform. We can configure our hiring workflow to automatically send the test to candidates once they reach a specific stage. The results and official scores appear directly on their candidate profile, with no need for manual data entry. This saves us a significant amount of time, eliminates errors, and allows our recruiters to instantly see, filter, and compare the language skills of all applicants, ensuring they focus only on those who meet the required proficiency.

Pretty straightforward ATS. Once you understand how everything works, you can make a lot of customizations and changes.

Not a lot of automation. Fairly one-dimensional.

As our first ATS, iCIMS helped us hire better, faster, and at scale. Before when things were more manual and we struggled with slower hiring, disconnected tools, and a frustrating experience and iCIMS brought everything — job postings, candidate tracking, communications all in one platform.

Wish we could go back to the time when we could talk to the technical support team versus someone outsourced in another country who only creates a ticket (one time, I could hear a rooster in the background :)

With the elimination of our recruiting department, our HR team has had to step in and quickly learn iCIMS. While the transition hasn’t been easy for all of us, we recognize that iCIMS is a very robust tool. We’re looking forward to building our knowledge so we can fully leverage its capabilities and get the most value out of it.

**What do you dislike about ICIMS?**

I wish the platform were more user-friendly and intuitive. The functionality is there, but the navigation and workflows could be simplified to make the overall user experience smoother and less cumbersome.

The ability to have global information in one platform including offer letters and onboarding integrated to ADP is very helpful.

**What do you like best about ICIMS?**

I have since used the CRM tool within iCIMS. While I'm uncertain my team utilizes it in all the ways it can, I would say that its a nice place to organize and keep things together.
I enjoy the option to text candidates, but I do not use it as a marketing/recruiting tool to blast messages like some might.

**What do you dislike about ICIMS?**

There seem to be more glitches within the past few months. Issues like opening 'notes tab' on a candidate profile create errors and send you back to the home page. I have been in an iform deep in convo with a candidate only to have everything deleted and an error ok. These types of things have been a burden on accomplishing work tasks.

**What problems is ICIMS solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Tracking candidates and organizing applications - keeps the team organized and able to function efficiently.

Unfortunately later releases have come with major changes that affected production and ongoing glitches. If you need to process high-volume of candidates, this is not the right solution.

I like that it is a global system, we are able to have consistency across our company when using it. I am in the system every day and find it easy to use for both an admin perspective as well as a candidate. Implementation was great, we loved our representative, and he got use setup well.

I do not like their customer service model. I can't ever get a quality or consistent answer when I have trouble.

Its easy to use, keeps all of my candidates in the same place and has dramatically impacted our time to fill metric because of how many job boards it integrates with. We are finding quality candidates faster.

**What do you like best about ICIMS?**

I love that icims is very configurable. It is easy to build reports and it is easily usable with other systems (UKG) to make recruiting and onboarding processes very seamless. It's a great tool that helps recruiters use data to their advantage and be quicker and better.

**What do you dislike about ICIMS?**

There are some unusual kinks that make icims extremely difficult to work with
- minimum of 10 entrance criteria
- clauses aren't reportable in offer management
- not all fields can populate externally on job board

I also feel like there is a lot of push to an ATS (new icims) that looks aesthetically pleasing but is way less intuitive to use. I feel like there is more emphasis on improving things that don't need to be fixed

It makes it easy to track a large amount of data and helps us manage candidate pools and candidate flow

**What do you like best about ICIMS?**

What I like best about iCIMS is the extremely logical setup that the platform has.  As a User Admin since 2015, the ability to configure the platform in a company-specific way, based on my own company's logic and how a user's employee OR candidate uses it, is very logical.

**What do you dislike about ICIMS?**

The one thing I dislike about the iCIMS platform is the lack of depth when it comes to using data visualization in-house.  Yes, there are programs you can integrate with from another vendor, but sometimes I wish there were better data visualization options within the platform.

**What problems is ICIMS solving and how is that benefiting you?**

iCIMS solves a HUGE problem for us by giving all sorts of roles access to department-specific data regarding TA.  It allows us to develop specific permissions per role to have everyone operating off the same sheet of music and cutting down on the number of manual updates.  It also integrates with Workday and Sterling with ease.

**What do you like best about ICIMS?**

Given that I have used several CRM, ATS, Talent Systems, etc. over the years, iCIMS Talent Cloud has been better than others with user experience and like the offerings for the hiring company/customer using it.  More recently have been impressed with the ability and customer service of our dedicated account person who is knowledgable and relatable to us.  I would certainly make sure to tell others especially compared to other systems which often seem to be payroll systems in disguise versus supporting true recruiting and applicant efforts.

**What do you dislike about ICIMS?**

Although user experience is good, It can be a bit overwhelming with learning. Customer Support response timing was not always good overall. It would also be nice if reporting functions and capabilities were better.

**What problems is ICIMS solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Organizing applicants and candidates is helpful and always needed. That benefits us by using talent pools and candidate tagging and other things such as filters within requisitions. Anywhee we can save time and have less/clicks is a good thing.

**What do you like best about ICIMS?**

My experience with the platform is that 99% of the applications are highly customizeable and adaptable to unique workflows or a varying workflows within the same organization. We are a global organization and we are integrated with Workday for our HRIS. Each region seems to have variations in their workflows for what candidate information is required upon application and upon hire and with iCIMS we are quickly able to adapt and make changes to the system by configuring custom fields, iforms, and reporting. Our dedicated account manager provides us amazing insights on best practices and is always available for discussions when we're stuck or need assistance! Reporting features are robust and allow you to get at metrics we never thought possible and see them at a glance!

**What do you dislike about ICIMS?**

We currently are using CRM, not CXM, which does leave a little to be desired when it comes to reporting usage statistics for our TA team, but our account manager has passed along our concerns and support has been willing to work with us to create some customizations and make updates to the application which have been helpful to improving our process.

**What problems is ICIMS solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are able to report on key metrics regularly which assist in making smart decisions for the business, especially when it comes to workforce planning. We have a number of integrations which allow for automation throughout our process, making things more efficient. We are able to customize workflows with various steps and statuses for different regions of the globe which may have variations in the hire process.

**What do you like best about ICIMS?**

ICIMS Talent Cloud has helped my recruiting team be more efficient when reviewing candidates. It shows us which candidates we should focus most of our time on based on how their experience matches up with the job posting. AI does the heavy lifting for us and allows us to focus on the best candidates. It also helps us save money on external job boards by recommending candidates already in our system for positions we have open.

It is important to make sure you job posting is detailed and accurate so the AI feature recommends the correct candidates.

ICIMS allows us to do everything in one patform. We can have candidates apply, manage those candidates, and provide an excellent experience for them. We can also pull a lot of reports from the system. It is extremely customizable so we can change whatever we need to meet our needs.

Offer management is great and easy to use. Everything housed on candidate profile and CRM package allows creation and builing talent pipelines. Absolutely love the event management piece via CRM. The introduction of AI into this platform allows for efficiency. Customer Care service has improved over the past year.

I appreciate the overall capabilities of the iCIMS Talent Cloud tool. We've been able to onboard our recruiters to self serve pulling candidate information to connect with post-events. The landing pages end up looking great, but we've had to use our own creative/assets to improve it.

iCIMS talent cloud is user friendly.  It is not hard to learn and can be taught to any team member.  It allows you to track all of your talent in one easy location and clearly move them between the steps of recruiting.  There are plenty of extra tools to utilize form scheduling, tracking, notes, and more all in one easy location.

We are having troubles integrating the interview scheduling, and some minor bugs of collecting info such as emergency contact relationship and being correct # of digits for phone number

I like the way iCIMS presents information and keeps me on track. I especially like the messaging capabilities and have come to rely on them heavily in my work. There also seem to be infinite possibilities for extracting data for reports which is also a big plus.

I use iCIMS pretty much all day every day. Often there are glitches, particularly with the messaging features which I find particularly annoying. I often have to log out and log back in to reset connections or something. Lots of "bad gateway and inability to authenticate" messages that occur randomly. Some days it's several times a day. Some days it's perfect.

Unclear. I work through our company's IT and iCIMS implementation specialists. They seem responsive.

As I said, it is a complex system compared to some of the other more simple ATS systems. You really have to have a solid team of professionals to explore all of the features that will benefit your team and process. It takes time to learn a complex system, so patience is key.

The upsides are the ability to grow with the system in many ways.  The base core of the system does require those who use it, to be part of the main pathways.  It's very robust and the support is amazing once you understand the best way to communicate with support, based on whether you want a configuration change, how-to advice, or add-ons.  The chat feature in the help, support section is extremely efficient.

**What do you dislike about ICIMS?**

I can be time consuming to learn the best way to communicate with support.  It's important to utilize terms based on the iCims system, and not layment verbiage.  The reports can be difficult to drill down, but on the upside, they can be administered in numerous ways of which most ATS systems can't facilitate.

As a new company, iCims has facilitated the collection of data from various locations, sources, departments, etc...  It posts to various job boards, allows the inputting of profiles in different ways and text engagement is amazing!

I love the ease of SkillSurvey. Before using SkillSurvey, we conducted manual reference checks. This saves time and allows HR to focus on other aspects of work. The references leave honest feedback regarding strengths and opportunities. The system is easy to navigate. From past experience, I know that SkillSurvey will partner with you if you are unable to find a survey that fits the job you're recruiting for.
We also utilize SkillSurvey for exit interviews. This allows us to pull easy analytics to look at trends.
SkillySurvey also integrates easily with Workday.

Customer Service before and during implementation was great! The team was knowledgeable and friendly!

The limitations of reporting for survey questions a user has created compared to surveys SkillSurvey has standardized.

I like that icims is a one stop shop for talent recruiting. There are so many features to use. Our team uses it daily and couldn't get by without it. The customer support is always ready to help, if needed.

The downside to me is the difficult interface. I get lost sometimes with all of the features and have trouble figuring things out without help. It is not always easy to use but does get better with repeated use.

**What do you like best about ICIMS?**

ICIMS ATS in particular is very user friendly. 

I had no previous experience using an HRIS previously & was able to very quickly adapt to the role of being a system administrator. In the time since, I have been impressed with additional releases & improvements to certain sections of the system. 

I am also pleased at the resources available to learn more on the system as well as the support we receive from customer support agents.

**What do you dislike about ICIMS?**

There are a few limitations that takes away from the product. For example, formatting issues using the Offer module makes it difficult to create professional-looking legal documentation as well as to onboard our team to this new process.

In the time since the offer module was released, no updates have been made to increase functionality

**What problems is ICIMS solving and how is that benefiting you?**

File library limit - ISIMS is trying to increase the number of files we are allotted. 500 is too few as this number includes files, branding, images from iforms, iforms, as well as signatures in the form of images for the offer module. 

I believe improvements to the Offer module will be the most beneficial. This will prevent ICIMS users from using another system to generate & send offers. 

Limitations with signatures need to be addressed and multilevel numbering needs to be available.

ICIMS has also given us the ability to configure our own iforms - this has increased our efficiency.
