"Affordable, Easy Voice AI Bots with Great Integrations But Unpredictable Latency"

What do you like best about Vapi AI?

It's a quick way to make Voice AI bots with a lot of integrations possible, the platform is straighforward - can learn the basics in 1 hour of youtube video. Costwise - it's one of the cheapest platform out there to make a voice AI bot. I can make a voice bot with any possible configuration I want using VAPI due to it's extensive support of all the different providers. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Vapi AI?

The single worst thing about VAPI is the latency! It's not predictable. Sometimes the latency is within 800-1000ms and sometimes it goes upto 4-5s which makes it unreliable. They seriously need to improve it else users will keep walking away from VAPI. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Vapi AI solving and how is that benefiting you?

Previously we had to answer all our calls manually, I built an AI Receptionist for us which can autonomously take calls and provide me with the summary of each call - it even transfers the calls to me if the topic is complex and it doesn't have enough context/info. What do you dislike about Vapi AI?

I mean, they could improve the dashboard. It's very difficult. I have to be a developer if I want to understand all the options, like the AI, Chrome, voice mode, everything. There are lots of options, so they should have a basic mode and an advanced mode. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
