## PayPal Invoicing Reviews
 ### 1. PayPal Invoicing Makes Billing Easy and Helps Me Get Paid Faster

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Gaurav G. | Magento - Shopify Full Stack Developer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 13, 2026

**What do you like best about PayPal Invoicing?**

What I like best about PayPal Invoicing is how incredibly easy and convenient it is to use. I have been using it since 2019 to bill my clients, and I have been highly satisfied with the service. It streamlines the payment process, which helps me get paid much faster. highly recommended to everyone who frequently use invoicing.

**What do you dislike about PayPal Invoicing?**

The policy regarding security holds on funds can be quite frustrating to deal with. While I completely understand the necessity for fraud prevention, having standard payments occasionally placed on hold creates unnecessary friction. It disrupts my regular business cash flow and causes unexpected delays in accessing the money I have earned

**What problems is PayPal Invoicing solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The primary problem PayPal Invoicing solves is the friction in the client payment process. By allowing clients to pay securely via credit cards, debit cards, or their own PayPal accounts without requiring complex bank transfers, it removes the barriers to getting paid. For my business, this convenience translates directly into faster transactions. Additionally, it acts as a centralized dashboard that solves my record-keeping headaches by keeping all my payment histories organized in one place.

 ### 2. PayPal Invoicing Makes Billing Fast, Secure, and Effortlessly Organized

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ignatius O. | AI Model Evaluation & Quality Assurance Specialist, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 01, 2026

**What do you like best about PayPal Invoicing?**

What I like most about PayPal Invoicing is how simple and efficient it makes the entire billing process. Creating and sending professional invoices takes only a few minutes, and customers can pay securely using multiple payment methods. I also appreciate the ability to track invoice status, see when invoices have been viewed or paid, and send reminders for overdue payments. The platform is easy to use, works well for freelancers and small businesses, and helps keep payment records organized in one place. Overall, it saves time, improves cash flow, and makes managing invoices much more convenient.

**What do you dislike about PayPal Invoicing?**

My biggest concern with PayPal Invoicing is the transaction fees, which can become expensive for businesses that process a high volume of payments or work with international clients. Some customers are also reluctant to use PayPal, preferring direct bank transfers or other payment platforms. Occasionally, payments or accounts may be subject to reviews or temporary holds, which can delay access to funds. I would also like to see more advanced invoice customization options, better reporting features, and greater flexibility when integrating with accounting software. While the service is reliable and easy to use, these limitations can make it less cost-effective and flexible than some competing invoicing solutions.

**What problems is PayPal Invoicing solving and how is that benefiting you?**

PayPal Invoicing helps solve the challenge of creating, sending, and managing invoices quickly while providing customers with a secure and familiar way to pay. Instead of preparing invoices manually and tracking payments through emails or spreadsheets, everything is managed in one place. Features such as payment tracking, automatic reminders, and multiple payment options help reduce administrative work and encourage faster payments. This saves time, improves cash flow, minimizes the risk of missed or overdue invoices, and allows me to focus more on my work rather than spending time following up on payments and maintaining financial records.

 ### 3. Excellent UI and ROI, but customization and support could be improved

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** baudouin k. | Directeur-fondateur, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 29, 2026

**What do you like best about PayPal Invoicing?**

What I like the most is the very intuitive interface (UI/UX) that makes it easy to use immediately, without even needing customer support. In terms of performance, the platform is fast, reliable, and never slows down. I also appreciate its seamless integrations with my accounting software. Moreover, the intelligent features (AI), such as auto-filling fields and follow-ups, automate my work. Finally, the pricing is fair: the return on investment (ROI) is excellent because I save hours of management each week and get paid faster.

**What do you dislike about PayPal Invoicing?**

Although the tool is efficient, some points deserve to be improved. On the UI/UX side, the visual customization of invoices remains too limited graphically. For integrations, there are missing native connections with certain specific CRMs. Regarding performance, the mobile application sometimes experiences slight slowdowns. Artificial intelligence (AI) could also go further by offering predictive cash flow analyses. Additionally, customer support is sometimes difficult to reach quickly in case of complex onboarding issues. Finally, in terms of pricing and ROI, international transaction fees remain quite high.

**What problems is PayPal Invoicing solving and how is that benefiting you?**

PayPal Invoicing primarily solves the problem of payment delays and time-consuming administrative burden. Thanks to its intuitive UI/UX, getting started is immediate, avoiding the need to contact support. The platform's excellent performance and its integrations with my accounting eliminate the tedious double entry. Additionally, the intelligent features (AI) automate customer follow-ups. Therefore, the ROI is excellent: I save valuable time each week and my cash flow is secured more quickly.

 ### 4. It ended up having a much bigger positive impact than I expected

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Phil J. | Product and Growth Lead, Computer Software, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 23, 2026

**What do you like best about PayPal Invoicing?**

It’s one of the easiest invoicing tools I’ve ever used. I didn’t have to watch tutorials or read through documentation to get started. The interface is clearly designed so you can create and send an invoice within minutes. The PayPal ecosystem is already well known, and most clients already trust the platform, so they don’t have to learn a new system or wonder whether the payment link is legitimate. Recurring invoices have been a great feature for me, the system handles everything automatically, and I just check that everything has been processed correctly, which saves me a lot of time and follow-up work. I think what really sets PayPal Invoicing apart isn’t the invoice creation itself. The real advantage is the direct connection between the invoice and the payment.

**What do you dislike about PayPal Invoicing?**

PayPal Invoicing works great for straightforward billing workflows. Where things start to get a little more interesting is when you try to push it into highly customized billing structures or advanced financial reporting. At that point, I found myself bringing in a few extra tools to cover the gaps. As for support, let's just say it runs on its own schedule sometimes. I never had any serious issues, but there were a few occasions when I submitted a report and ended up waiting more than 24 hours for a response

**What problems is PayPal Invoicing solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Getting paid was never particularly difficult, but it was often slower than it needed to be. The process usually involved creating invoices manually, sending them by email or WhatsApp, sharing payment details separately, and then following up whenever a payment was delayed. We decided to give PayPal Invoicing a try, and the difference was noticeable pretty quickly. Clients who used to take several days to complete a payment suddenly started paying the same day they received the invoice. The biggest benefit, though, wasn’t really the time savings. It was the predictability. Instead of wondering where things stood, we could clearly see which invoices were still pending, which ones had been viewed, and which had already been paid. It sounds simple, but having that visibility removed a lot of the guesswork and follow-up that used to eat up our time.

 ### 5. It works wonderfully... right up until the day u need to contact support!

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Miguel F. | Software Developer, Information Technology and Services, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 19, 2026

**What do you like best about PayPal Invoicing?**

I’ve been using it for quite a while now and, honestly, the main reason I stick with it is how widely adopted it is. There’s barely a client out there who doesn’t already know how to use PayPal. I send them the payment link and the issue is usually solved right away, no explanations or tutorials needed. It also saves me the headache of adapting to everyone’s preferred payment method. Whether they want to pay with their PayPal balance, a credit card, or a bank account, that’s up to them. Everything ends up in the same place on my side. And I have to give credit where it’s due, the mobile app has improved a lot. These days I can manage everything from my phone just as comfortably as I do from the office, without feeling like I’m using a limited version of the platform.

**What do you dislike about PayPal Invoicing?**

Where things get a bit more serious is with customer support. Sometimes they solve your issue in minutes, but other times it feels like you’re stuck in a loop of generic responses, going around in circles without anyone really understanding the problem you’re trying to solve. I don’t see these as deal-breakers, but they’re definitely things that could be improved.

**What problems is PayPal Invoicing solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We noticed this most when we were trying to simplify our operations. Before, we were juggling bank transfers, different payment gateways, and manual collections. Trying to reconcile all of that at the end of the month was an administrative nightmare. Once we centralized most of our payment flow through PayPal, things became much easier. No more jumping from one system to another just to confirm who had paid and who hadn’t. In fact, during a long-term project that involved partial payments over several months, having everything on a single platform allowed us to keep excellent financial control and reduce human error to a minimum. PayPal won’t handle your entire accounting process, but it definitely takes a lot of that repetitive operational burden off your shoulders, and that alone can save you hours of valuable work.

 ### 6. Fast, Convenient Invoicing With Instant Payments and Smart Reminders

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Raymond D. | Farmer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 14, 2026

**What do you like best about PayPal Invoicing?**

The best part is the speed and convenience invoices can be created and sent in minutes from desktop or mobile and customers can pay immediately using cards PayPal balance or bank methods Built in status tracking and automated reminders cut down on follow up work while templates and recurring options save time on repeat billing It also integrates easily with common accounting and e commerce tools and supports multi currency billing for international clients though conversion fees should be watched

**What do you dislike about PayPal Invoicing?**

The fees are higher than ACH or some competitors which eats into margins. Invoice design and branding options feel basic and inflexible Reporting and bookkeeping tools are limited compared with accounting software making reconciliation harder New accounts or unusual transactions can encounter holds or delayed payouts International invoices incur conversion and cross border fees that add up

**What problems is PayPal Invoicing solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It removes friction by letting you send a professional invoice customers can pay instantly with cards bank methods, or digital wallets which increases payment conversions Automated status tracking and reminders reduce the time spent chasing late payments and make collections more predictable Templates and recurring invoices cut repetitive admin work letting you invoice consistent clients in seconds Multi currency support and straightforward checkout simplify billing international customers without custom payment setups Those features together speed cash flow reduce operational overhead and make small scale billing scalable

 ### 7. Fast, Frictionless Invoicing with Instant PayPal Payments

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Anna B. | Lecturer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 14, 2026

**What do you like best about PayPal Invoicing?**

The best part for me is how fast and frictionless it is creating and sending an invoice takes minutes and the templates cover what I need Clients rarely have trouble paying because they already trust PayPal so follow ups are minimal Payments post to my PayPal balance immediately which helps cash flow when I need funds fast The mobile app and automatic reminders make managing invoices on the go painless

**What do you dislike about PayPal Invoicing?**

The biggest downsides are high processing and cross border fees which aren’t refunded on returns limited invoice customization and accounting features and occasional account holds or slow support that can disrupt cash flow For larger or repeat billing needs I’ve found it less flexible than dedicated billing platforms and refunds can be costly because you don’t get the original processing fees back International clients also increase costs due to conversion and cross border charges

**What problems is PayPal Invoicing solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It removes payment friction and chasing clients pay easily with familiar methods invoices are quick to create and track and funds post immediately which saves me time and improves cash flow That reliability means fewer late payments and less back and forth so I can focus on projects instead of billing The built in reminders and mobile app make managing invoices on the go painless especially for one off jobs

 ### 8. Easy Invoicing with Secure Payments and a Professional Touch

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Josh L. | Creative Director, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 26, 2026

**What do you like best about PayPal Invoicing?**

It's easy to setup and send your first invoice, and I like that it has protections for buyers so everyone feels confident about the security of the transaction. When someone gets the invoice, it's very easy for them to pay using PayPal. Plus, it's nice that you can add your logo to the invoice for a touch of professionalism.

**What do you dislike about PayPal Invoicing?**

For some, the amount of branding available might be too limited. The UI is fairly intuitive, but there are times where changing something takes me an extra few clicks. It would be nice if there were more layout or template options to make the invoices feel more customized. I find other tools make it easier to implement recurring invoices.

**What problems is PayPal Invoicing solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The main thing PayPal invoicing solves for me is the ability to send invoices for products I've sold where the buyer feels confident in knowing we are using something as secure as PayPal. That way they can be assured that if anything goes wrong, they can dispute the transaction. It helps in closing more sales because of this confidence.

You have to add each invoice item as a product in your catalog before adding to the invoice, rather than simply typing it on a line on the invoice. Also, they charge a fee for receiving money with PayPal invoicing. However, it is about the same as many other payment processing platforms like QB, Gusto, Melio, and others.

 ### 12. Familiar Name, Navigational Challenges

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Angela S. | Marketing Administrative Coordinator, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 30, 2025

**What do you like best about PayPal Invoicing?**

I like that PayPal Invoicing is an easy and trustworthy way to take payments and deposits from clients. I appreciate the name recognition, as most clients have access to it through their emails, making it straightforward for transactions. I also value the 'pay in 4' feature, which offers my clients an easier way to pay for larger invoices. Additionally, the initial setup was very simple.

**What do you dislike about PayPal Invoicing?**

It's difficult to navigate their invoicing system. The layout takes digging around to find where everything is, and even though I've used it often, it's still frustrating at times to navigate. A simple drop-down menu with frequently used functions would be helpful versus the tabs across the top that have you searching around the platform to find what you need.

**What problems is PayPal Invoicing solving and how is that benefiting you?**

PayPal Invoicing provides an easy, trustworthy way to take payments and deposits from clients. The 'pay in 4' feature offers my clients an easier way to pay for larger invoices.

 ### 13. Simple and straightforward way of getting paid.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Vinny S. | Specialist/Advisor, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 23, 2026

**What do you like best about PayPal Invoicing?**

What I like most about PayPal Invoicing is how quick and straightforward it is. I can create an invoice in a couple of mins, plus most people have heard of PayPal so there's no issue when it comes to them making a payment. Overall, it just saves time and reduces a lot of the usual back and forth involved in getting paid.

**What do you dislike about PayPal Invoicing?**

The downsides in my opinion are the fees, especially if you're doing larger transactions. They are higher than some other payment gateways, I work for a company in the UK and am based in India, and they pay me via PayPal, sometimes the fees are as much as $90 which is not a small amount. If this could be reduced, it would be much better,

**What problems is PayPal Invoicing solving and how is that benefiting you?**

For me, the biggest benefit is speed and convenience. Clients tend to pay quicker because they trust the platform and can use card or their PayPal balance straight away. It also cuts down the awkwardness of chasing payments since reminders can be automated. Plus you can check historical payments which makes things easy.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sandra H. | Peer Engagment Ambassador , Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**What do you like best about PayPal Invoicing?**

I like that PayPal Invoicing is within PayPal, so I don't have to have another app to do invoicing. It's the connection to PayPal that is the best because it simplifies things for me. The user experience is pretty user-friendly and straightforward, and while it takes some time to set everything up, it's pretty straightforward in the end.

**What do you dislike about PayPal Invoicing?**

I feel like the interface, a little bit, I mean, coming from a brand UI/UX designer, I care a lot about the design. So I feel like the interface design could be a little bit nicer, but that said, like, it works. It does everything that I need, so it's purely from the designer's perspective of enjoying looking at pretty things.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kirsten E. | Business Owner, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 21, 2026

**What do you like best about PayPal Invoicing?**

I like that PayPal Invoicing is very easy to use. It's the easiest platform I've ever used. The support is also very good. I appreciate that it saves all of my line items and tracks outstanding invoices that are open. It acts almost like an all-in-one way of tracking income and reconciling at the end of the month with detailed reporting of sales.

**What do you dislike about PayPal Invoicing?**

One customers are allow the option to pay by ACH, there should be a clear message to the customer that there may be delays in the payment. Sometimes delays in the payment cause delays in production. Also, sometimes the delays are excessive if the client uses a certain type of bank account. It's much easier when they pay with a card.

**What problems is PayPal Invoicing solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I find PayPal Invoicing very easy to use, allowing me to create invoices and get paid directly the same day. It saves all my line items and tracks outstanding invoices, serving as an all-in-one way to track income and reconcile sales. I can create an invoice and upload it directly to PayPal and turn it into a link and send it directly to the customer it makes it very fast and efficient and the customer receives it right away and is able to pay it right away.

 ### 17. Quick, Easy Invoicing with Trusted PayPal Payments

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jennifer B. | Legal, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 21, 2026

**What do you like best about PayPal Invoicing?**

It’s quick and easy to use, and customers already trust PayPal with their credit card information, so they aren’t hesitant to pay an invoice directly from the invoice when they receive it. With my previous platform, customers sometimes felt uneasy about entering their credit card details because it was a lesser-known platform.

**What do you dislike about PayPal Invoicing?**

Sometimes my account gets flagged for personal verification. I understand that this probably adds to the platform’s security, so it’s not really something I dislike, but it is something I can get annoyed by. It generally just takes time out of my day. I’d also like to be able to gather client info from my messages, like on other platforms.

**What problems is PayPal Invoicing solving and how is that benefiting you?**

PayPal invoicing helps me with credit card processing for a relatively low fee compared to other processors. It also helps me track invoices that are still pending payment. I like that I can access the funds immediately, rather than having to wait a few days like I’ve had to with other platforms. Overall, I plan to keep using it.

 ### 18. Easy Setup, Clean Interface, and Integrations That Save Time

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 29, 2026

**What do you like best about PayPal Invoicing?**

What stands out most for me is how easy it is to use and how many integrations it offers. Honestly, the setup was way less painful than I expected—I had my first invoice sent out within about ten minutes of signing up, with no manual to read through. The interface is clean, and I never feel like I’m hunting around for things.

The integrations are the real win for me, though. It plugs straight into the tools I already use, so I’m not copying details back and forth. Loading times are quick even when I’ve got a long list of clients, and I haven’t run into any of the lag I used to get with my old setup. For what I pay, it’s been more than worth it, especially since I don’t have to chase payments as much—clients can just click and pay. Support was responsive the one time I needed them, too.

**What do you dislike about PayPal Invoicing?**

The fees are probably my biggest gripe — the per-transaction cut adds up fast, and for smaller invoices it eats into the margin more than I'd like. I also wish the invoice templates were more customizable; the branding options feel a bit limited if you want something that really matches your business. Occasionally the dashboard can be slow to load when I'm pulling up older invoices, and the search could be sharper. Onboarding was fine but the help docs aren't always clear, so I ended up figuring some things out by trial and error. None of it is a dealbreaker, but a bit more flexibility on pricing and design would make a real difference.

**What problems is PayPal Invoicing solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Before using it, getting invoices out and chasing payments was a slow, manual process — I'd send something over and then spend days following up to actually get paid. Now I can create and send a professional invoice in a couple of minutes, and clients can pay instantly with a card or their own PayPal balance, so the back-and-forth has basically disappeared. That's cut the time I spend on admin each week noticeably and meant cash comes in faster, which matters a lot when you're running lean. Having everything tracked in one place also means I'm not digging through emails to see who has and hasn't paid, so reconciliation at month-end is far less of a headache.

**What do you like best about PayPal Invoicing?**

I like PayPal Invoicing because it allows me to have the money available at the moment. It's necessary for maintaining a steady cash flow without having to wait several days for the money to be accessible. Additionally, it assists with changing money to our own currency if needed, which is helpful given the different commissions depending on currency. The setup was straightforward. We just had to confirm our profiles as a vendor company, and there were no growing pains or other trouble.

**What do you dislike about PayPal Invoicing?**

And mostly when we received payments from a new client. They hold the money for twenty one days unless the vendor or the client confirms the other status. In that case, the money will be available eight hours later.

**What problems is PayPal Invoicing solving and how is that benefiting you?**

PayPal Invoicing solves international transfer issues, allowing immediate payments across different countries. It eliminates the wait for cash flow, crucial for accounting, and avoids additional currency conversion commissions.

 ### 20. PayPal Invoicing: Streamlined, Secure Billing That Saves Time and Boosts Cash Flow

**What do you like best about PayPal Invoicing?**

I use PayPal Invoicing to create and send professional invoices, track payment status, and receive secure online payments from my clients. It has made my billing process much more efficient by allowing me to manage everything in one place instead of relying on manual records or multiple tools. Creating and customizing invoices is quick and straightforward, and I can easily monitor whether an invoice has been sent, viewed, paid, or is still outstanding, making it easier to stay organized and follow up when necessary. I also appreciate the flexibility it offers my clients, as they can choose from different payment methods that are convenient for them, which often leads to faster payments. Overall, PayPal Invoicing saves me time, simplifies my day-to-day invoicing tasks, improves my cash flow, and allows me to focus more on serving my clients and growing my business rather than spending unnecessary time managing billing and payments.

**What do you dislike about PayPal Invoicing?**

One aspect of PayPal Invoicing that I find frustrating is the occasional payment hold. While I understand that PayPal has security measures in place to protect both buyers and sellers, having funds placed on hold can be inconvenient, especially when I depend on timely payments to cover day-to-day business expenses. There have been situations where I have completed work, sent an invoice, and received payment from a client, only to discover that the funds were temporarily unavailable. This can make it difficult to plan my cash flow, pay suppliers, or reinvest in my business as quickly as I would like. The uncertainty surrounding payment holds can be just as challenging as the delay itself because it is not always immediately clear why a particular transaction has been flagged or exactly how long the review process will take.

**What problems is PayPal Invoicing solving and how is that benefiting you?**

PayPal Invoicing helps me solve problems with financial tracking and managing spending by keeping all my invoices and payments in one place. It allows me to easily see which invoices are paid, pending, or overdue, making it simpler to monitor my income and stay organized. This improves my financial visibility, reduces errors from manual tracking, and helps me manage my business expenses and cash flow more effectively.

**What do you like best about PayPal Invoicing?**

I found it pretty useful, specifically if the client uses PayPal themselves. I think it's a good channel to have as one of your payment options or invoicing options. It's easy to use and the interface is good. Specifically here in Italy compared to other options, it's one of the most easy to use platforms. The whole experience with setting it up and using it was much, much easier compared to Super Bill IT, where the interface is a bit old and not so clear and only in Italian. For me, the interface felt easy to use.

**What do you dislike about PayPal Invoicing?**

If a client doesn't use PayPal or isn't familiar with the platform, it can be a bit not ideal. I'd say the adaptability with non-PayPal users could be improved. I'm also not sure if they offer official, approved digital signatures, which you sometimes have to use for entities here. And I don't know if it's fully integrated into the Italian ecosystem. For me, it's not integrated with any other tools.

**What problems is PayPal Invoicing solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I found it pretty useful, especially when the client uses PayPal themselves. It's a good channel to have as one of your payment or invoicing options. If the client doesn't use PayPal or isn't familiar with it, it can be a bit not ideal.

 ### 25. Going from chasing payments to receiving them within hours

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Yaroslav B. | Full Stack Engineer, Information Technology and Services, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 05, 2026

**What do you like best about PayPal Invoicing?**

Lately I’ve become a big fan of Quick Invoices. Sometimes a client asks for a small tweak or a quick job, something with a low cost, and instead of preparing a full formal invoice, I just send them a link over WhatsApp. The client sees it as a professional process, and at the same time we avoid wasting time on unnecessary steps. The first time we used PayPal Invoicing with an international client, I was surprised by how simple everything was. I remember creating the invoice from my phone while I was having a coffee, and before I even finished it, the client had already paid with their credit card.

**What do you dislike about PayPal Invoicing?**

We’ve had some tense moments when the system blocks a payment for security reasons. One time, a new client paid a large amount and the money was held for 15 days. We had to give a bunch of explanations and upload several documents. It’s not that the software fails, it’s just that their security policies can sometimes be so strict that you feel like you don’t fully control your own money.

**What problems is PayPal Invoicing solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We also had a serious issue with payment punctuality. We had around 15 recurring clients who always forgot to pay on time. So we implemented PayPal’s recurring invoices and turned on automatic reminders. It was almost magical. Instead of us being the annoying collector sending awkward emails on Monday mornings, the system started doing it for me. In the first month, late payments dropped by about 40%. The best moment was when one client actually called to apologize because the automatic reminder arrived right when he was sitting at his computer, and he paid immediately. It saved us hours of admin work and, honestly, a lot of stress.

 ### 26. Ideal when your priority is getting paid quickly and with full transparency

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Yauhen D. | Senior Fullstask Developer , Information Technology and Services, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 25, 2026

**What do you like best about PayPal Invoicing?**

I didn’t have to deal with endless setups or rack my brain over complicated accounting stuff. I just log in, fill in the details, tweak the basics how I like, and in a couple of minutes the invoice is ready to send. I really value that kind of speed in my day-to-day, especially because it lets me send invoices from my phone or any computer and instantly know if the client has seen the document or already paid. Before, I was constantly chasing emails and manual confirmations, but now I can see everything at a glance. Plus, since it integrates perfectly with the PayPal features I was already using, I didn’t have to learn a whole new tool from scratch, and the templates it offers are more than enough to keep a professional look without spending hours on design.

**What do you dislike about PayPal Invoicing?**

Even though the platform is stable, a couple of times it gave me a bit of a headache because it took a while to update a payment status. The client had already paid, but it was still showing as pending on my end, which caused some temporary confusion. It wasn’t anything serious, but yeah, it was definitely a bit annoying.

**What problems is PayPal Invoicing solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We decided to implement PayPal Invoicing when we started scaling our independent services and needed a more professional billing flow without setting up a full accounting system. Before that, we’d send quotes through one channel and receive payments through another, which created confusion and mistakes. This made communication with clients much clearer. On a recent project with multiple deliverables, we created partial invoices as we completed milestones, and that helped create a steady payment rhythm that really improved our cash flow. I especially remember one client who appreciated that the invoice came with a built-in pay button. He paid immediately from his phone, no questions, no delays. That’s when I realized how convenient this can be for businesses where the time between sending the invoice and actually getting paid really matters.

 ### 27. Getting paid fast, no drama: invoicing without the headache!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kumail R. | Client Success Manager, Information Technology and Services, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 23, 2026

**What do you like best about PayPal Invoicing?**

I was honestly surprised by how easy it is to create an invoice, send it out, and let the client pay on the spot, even if they don’t have a PayPal account. When I'm juggling a thousand things every day, that speed in closing the payment cycle is a huge relief. I generate the invoice in minutes, and many times the money hits almost immediately, which really helps with cash flow. Having that dashboard where you clearly see what’s paid and what’s overdue takes away the stress of digging through emails for receipts or chasing old message threads. Moreover, the automatic reminders and customizable templates are a big win. I keep a professional image without spending hours on design or admin work.

**What do you dislike about PayPal Invoicing?**

Of course, being realistic, it’s not perfect. The fees can feel a bit high if you’re handling a large volume of invoices, so it’s definitely worth running the numbers before using it for everything. That said, in terms of performance I’ve never had any critical issues. It’s always been pretty reliable.

**What problems is PayPal Invoicing solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We started using PayPal because we wanted a simple way to formalize payments without setting up a complex accounting system, and the most significant difference we noticed was speed. We stopped depending on slow manual transfers or informal agreements and moved to a much smoother process where the client gets the invoice and pays directly. I remember one really busy season that could’ve turned into a total follow-up nightmare, but thanks to this, we kept everything organized and closed accounts without stress. My advice to others would be to start by using it with a few clients and see how payments and fees work out for you before going all in.

 ### 28. PayPal Invoicing: Clear, Customer-Friendly Invoices with Straightforward UI

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Micah W. | HRIS Analyst, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 06, 2026

**What do you like best about PayPal Invoicing?**

Paypal invoicing creates easy to read for the customers requesting invoices for service provided; and provides clear financial data for record keeping purposes. The UI is straightforward and any support I need is easy to access. I also think the pricing is fair for the product and is an overall benefit to the business.

**What do you dislike about PayPal Invoicing?**

I do not find AI/Intelligence features in Paypal Invoicing very useful for my company's invoices needs so any AI/Intelligence features are redundant and cause unnecessary confusion when used for the creation of invoices. I don't know of any integrations that Paypal Invoicing offers but if there were useful items it would be good to know.

**What problems is PayPal Invoicing solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Paypal Invoicing gives me and my company a quick and straightforward way to create and send invoices for the services I provide as an independent contractor. I like that Paypal Invoicing performance is solid no matter the setting or situation and Paypal Invoicing allows me to create and track earnings and expenses easily.

 ### 29. Easy interface, facilitate international transactions

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Bhupendra S. | Finance Officer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 25, 2026

**What do you like best about PayPal Invoicing?**

I use PayPal Invoicing to send professional invoices to my clients. Its interface is very easy and user-friendly, allowing invoices to be created and sent in just a few minutes. The best part is that receiving international payments becomes quite simple. The payment tracking feature is also good—I immediately know whether the invoice is paid or pending. Creating an invoice is absolutely simple. In just a few steps, you can enter the client's name, amount, and details to send the invoice. No technical knowledge is required. If you work with clients abroad, this feature is very valuable. The client can make payments in their local currency, and you receive the money easily—this helps close deals fast. I really like that the status of every invoice is clearly visible—Paid, Pending, Overdue. These three features—easy invoice creation, international payments, and payment tracking—are very essential, as they directly impact the efficiency of my work and cash flow.

**What do you dislike about PayPal Invoicing?**

Although PayPal Invoicing is quite useful, there are some areas where improvement is needed. Firstly, transaction fees are a major drawback for me. Especially in international payments, the fees seem a bit high, which affects overall earnings. For small freelancers or beginners, this can feel a bit heavy. Secondly, currency conversion charges also sometimes seem high. When a client makes a payment in a different currency, the conversion rate is not always the most favorable, which feels like a bit of a financial loss. Thirdly, customization options are limited. The design of the invoice is basic—if there were more options to customize branding (logo placement, colors, layout, etc.), it could become more professional.

**What problems is PayPal Invoicing solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use PayPal Invoicing to send professional invoices and receive international payments. It makes it easy to receive payments from clients and also simplifies tracking payment status. Its interface is user-friendly and payment collection is possible at a fast pace.

 ### 30. Fast, User-Friendly Invoicing with Smart AI Autofill

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Education Management | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 17, 2026

**What do you like best about PayPal Invoicing?**

It is a very easy tool to use to invoice clients. It is also adopted worldwide and well known. The UI and the UX are very easy to use. The performace of the platform is great. It is very fast and convenient to use to bill a large number of clients. The use of AI in auto filling the fields also eases up the work and is an add on advantage.

**What do you dislike about PayPal Invoicing?**

The first thing which can be improved by PayPal is the high transaction fees for international clients. For companies invoicing to large amount of international clients, the transaction fees can add up quite fast and take a bunch of money out just in the invoicing process. The security holding policy can also be an issue sometimes.

**What problems is PayPal Invoicing solving and how is that benefiting you?**

PayPal Invoicing is smoothing the invoicing process to clients which can be headache depending on the quantity on clients. It makes the invoicing process very fast and reliable. The steps are also quite easy to follow. The clients have a wide choice of payments methods such as debit cards, credit cards to choose from which gives a lot of flexibility.

 ### 31. Effortless Invoicing with Room for Improvement

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Delon R. | Graphic Designer, Graphic Design, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 12, 2026

**What do you like best about PayPal Invoicing?**

I like PayPal Invoicing for its ease of use and versatility in the invoice information layout, and is an overall versatile system. It saves me time in formatting an invoice document template with all relevant information present, and I can export it to accounting software if needed. The setup was extremely easy since it's integrated with PayPal for business. It provides a seamless integration and ensures consistency of invoices after purchases, giving me peace of mind.

**What do you dislike about PayPal Invoicing?**

I wish that there was more compatibility with additional website systems such as Shopify. Right now, the software only works with Etsy and a few other systems. I'd prefer not having to use Zapier to connect every service to the invoice software each time. More things that could be enhanced as well is the switch to the primary and not needing a secondary login for both invoice and main accounts.

**What problems is PayPal Invoicing solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use PayPal Invoicing for processing purchases, providing seamless integration, and consistent invoice quality. It's easy to use, saving time on template formatting, organization into categories, and I can export the corresponding data to accounting software. It ensures smooth international transactions and helps me focus on growing my business by saving time on the invoice tasks.

 ### 32. PayPal Invoicing: Convenient, but Fees, Limited Customisation, and Basic Reporting Hold It Back

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Staffing and Recruiting | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 13, 2026

**What do you like best about PayPal Invoicing?**

What I like best about PayPal Invoicing is how straightforward it makes the entire invoicing and payment process. It provides a simple way to create, send, and manage invoices without requiring extensive accounting knowledge or complex software. The interface is generally intuitive, making it easy to customise invoices with business details, item descriptions, payment terms, and branding. This helps present a professional image while keeping the administrative side of invoicing efficient.

Another feature I appreciate is the convenience it offers to both the sender and the customer. Customers can usually pay directly from the invoice using a range of supported payment methods, which removes unnecessary friction from the payment process. The simpler it is for customers to pay, the more likely invoices are to be settled promptly. Being able to track whether an invoice has been sent, viewed, paid, or is still outstanding also provides useful visibility and reduces the need for constant follow-up.

I also value the fact that PayPal Invoicing can be accessed online, making it practical for businesses and individuals who work remotely or need to manage invoices while travelling. Since everything is stored digitally, it is much easier to keep records organised, search for previous invoices, and maintain an overview of outstanding payments. This can save time compared with manual invoicing processes and reduce the risk of paperwork being misplaced.

The automation features are another positive aspect. Being able to duplicate recurring invoices, send reminders for unpaid invoices, and receive payment notifications helps reduce administrative effort and keeps cash flow management more organised. These small efficiencies can make a noticeable difference, particularly for freelancers and small businesses that may not have dedicated finance teams.

Finally, I like that PayPal is a widely recognised payment platform. Many customers are already familiar with it, which can increase confidence when making payments and reduce barriers during the checkout process. Overall, PayPal Invoicing combines ease of use, professional presentation, payment flexibility, and useful tracking features into a single platform. It simplifies what can often be a time-consuming administrative task, allowing users to spend more time focusing on running their business while maintaining a smooth and reliable invoicing process.

**What do you dislike about PayPal Invoicing?**

One aspect I dislike about PayPal Invoicing is that the transaction fees can become expensive over time, particularly for businesses that process a high volume of invoices or larger payments. While the convenience of accepting online payments is valuable, the fees can have a noticeable impact on profit margins, especially for small businesses and freelancers who are trying to keep operating costs low.

Another limitation is the level of customisation available. Although invoices can be branded with a business logo and basic details, there are fewer options for creating highly customised invoice templates compared with some dedicated accounting or invoicing platforms. Businesses with more specific branding requirements or complex invoicing needs may find the available options somewhat restrictive.

I also think that some of the reporting and financial management features are relatively basic. While PayPal provides useful information about invoice status and payment history, businesses that require more detailed financial reporting, budgeting, or accounting functionality may need to use additional software alongside PayPal. This can create extra administrative work, particularly if information needs to be transferred between different systems.

Another area that could be improved is customer support. Although support resources are available, resolving more complex account or payment issues can sometimes take longer than expected. For businesses that rely on timely payments, any delays in resolving problems can be frustrating and may impact cash flow or customer relationships.

There can also be occasional limitations around payment holds or account reviews. In some situations, payments may be temporarily held while PayPal carries out additional verification checks. While these measures are understandable from a security perspective, they can be inconvenient for businesses that depend on immediate access to funds to manage day-to-day expenses.

In addition, some customers may prefer alternative payment methods that are not always as seamlessly integrated into the invoicing experience. Although PayPal supports several payment options, businesses with customers in different regions or industries may benefit from broader payment flexibility or local payment methods.

Overall, while PayPal Invoicing is easy to use and provides a convenient way to send invoices and receive payments, there are areas where it could improve. Lower transaction fees, greater invoice customisation, more advanced reporting capabilities, faster customer support, and fewer disruptions caused by payment reviews would make the platform more attractive, particularly for growing businesses with more complex financial and operational requirements.

**What problems is PayPal Invoicing solving and how is that benefiting you?**

PayPal Invoicing helps solve several common challenges associated with billing customers and collecting payments. One of the biggest problems it addresses is the need for a simple, centralised way to create, send, and track invoices without relying on manual processes or paper documentation. Instead of creating invoices from scratch or managing them through multiple systems, everything can be handled within a single platform, making the process more efficient and reducing administrative effort.

A major benefit is that it simplifies the payment experience for customers. Once an invoice is received, customers can typically pay directly through the invoice using supported payment methods, which removes unnecessary steps and makes the payment process more convenient. This often leads to faster payments and reduces the amount of time spent following up on overdue invoices. Having payment links built directly into the invoice also creates a smoother experience for customers and encourages quicker settlement.

Another problem PayPal Invoicing solves is the lack of visibility into invoice status. Rather than wondering whether an invoice has been received or viewed, users can see when invoices have been sent, opened, paid, or remain outstanding. This level of transparency helps prioritise follow-up activities and provides greater confidence when managing accounts receivable.

The platform also reduces the administrative burden associated with recurring billing and payment reminders. Features such as invoice duplication, automated reminders, and payment notifications help streamline routine tasks that would otherwise need to be completed manually. This saves time and allows businesses to focus on serving customers and growing their operations instead of spending excessive time on administrative work.

From a record-keeping perspective, PayPal Invoicing provides a digital history of invoices and payments, making it easier to locate previous transactions and maintain organised financial records. This can be particularly useful when reviewing payment history, preparing financial reports, or resolving customer queries. Having information stored in one place also reduces the risk of misplaced documents or inconsistent record management.

Another important benefit is the familiarity and trust associated with the PayPal brand. Many customers already have experience using PayPal, which can make them feel more comfortable completing online payments. This familiarity may help reduce hesitation during the payment process and contribute to a more professional customer experience.

Overall, PayPal Invoicing solves problems related to manual invoicing, payment collection, invoice tracking, and administrative workload. The result is a more efficient billing process, improved visibility over outstanding payments, better organisation of financial records, and a smoother payment experience for customers. These benefits help save time, improve cash flow management, and allow businesses to operate more efficiently without requiring complex invoicing systems.

 ### 33. Easy-to-Use Invoicing and Payments That Keeps Our Business on Track

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Gavin P. | Service Writer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 27, 2026

**What do you like best about PayPal Invoicing?**

It helps our business keep up with invoices and other types of payments i guess. There's a lot of stuff to like about it, also makes it easier to both send payments, as well as receive said invoices. Its also very easy to understand and use so that's a bonus. Its a 5 out of 5 star rating from me..

**What do you dislike about PayPal Invoicing?**

I don't really dislike anything in particular, maybe the fee to cash out and get it within the same day. Other than that there really isn't any complaints that I can think of at this time. I still have 100 characters I think that's too much to except us to be able to write out enough characters here.

**What problems is PayPal Invoicing solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Its solving the hassle of keeping up with invoices and also sending and receiving said invoices. So yeah. Still way too many characters to be writing here shouldn't be any more than 100, I have to type this out just so I can hit the minimum threshold just to move on to the next question so yeah.....

 ### 34. Essential for Freelancers, Seamless Payment Solutions

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ritsu B. | Data analyst, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 21, 2026

**What do you like best about PayPal Invoicing?**

I really use PayPal Invoicing to keep my freelance work professional. It lets me send out clear, itemized bills to my clients as soon as the work is done. What I love most is that it handles payments ahead of things planned. You just click and pay with the card, which means I get my money faster without having to chase people down with awkward emails. It allows you to quickly create clean, professional invoices without needing complex accounting software. Customers can pay instantly using methods like credit cards. There's centralized tracking to see exactly who has paid and for how much, and I can send automatic reminders. It also helps me reach a global audience, receiving payments in different currencies. It integrates with accounting software like QuickBooks or Xero, which saves me a lot of time and manual data entry. The invoicing feature also helps handle custom wholesale orders. The initial setup was pretty easy; sending the first invoice only took a few minutes, and connecting the bank was seamless. Overall, the experience was pretty nice. I find PayPal Invoicing very reliable and would definitely recommend it.

**What do you dislike about PayPal Invoicing?**

I think it could be better if customization options for invoices were more flexible. Like, being able to easily change the layout, add a logo, or adjust forms to match my brand would be great. Also, transaction fees seem a bit high or hard to calculate when sending invoices. Automation could be improved too, to make it easier for business owners to set up invoices and reminders. Lastly, broader platform accessibility would be nice, like having more support for systems like Linux.

**What problems is PayPal Invoicing solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use PayPal Invoicing to send clear, itemized bills, which has significantly streamlined my billing process. By providing professional, branded invoices, I’ve been able to speed up my payment cycles, as clients appreciate the transparency of seeing exactly what they are paying for. It allows me to maintain a high level of professionalism without the need for expensive or complex accounting software. The built-in tracking features and automatic reminders also save me time on administrative follow-ups, ensuring I get paid faster while focusing on my core business tasks

**What do you like best about PayPal Invoicing?**

It is very simple to use. It is reliable and can be used for a wide range of products. It is safe and secure and is well worth the price. It can be used in tandem with other services effortlessly. It is partnered with CHAT GPT for ease and its support crew are responsive and helpful. A lot of time is saved.

**What do you dislike about PayPal Invoicing?**

Sometimes, its currency conversion rates are not the best. When invoicing international clients, the exchange rate PayPal applies is often noticeably worse than the mid-market rate you'd get from a bank or a dedicated FX service, and on top of that there's an additional conversion fee. For businesses that regularly bill clients in different currencies, this adds up over time and eats into margins in a way that isn't always obvious upfront — it's not clearly broken out unless you dig into the transaction details. It would help if PayPal offered more transparency about the exact mark-up being applied before the invoice is sent, or gave users the option to lock in a rate. A built-in comparison to the real-time market rate at checkout would also make it easier to decide whether to accept PayPal's conversion or have the client pay in their local currency instead.

**What problems is PayPal Invoicing solving and how is that benefiting you?**

PayPal Invoicing solves the problem of getting paid quickly and professionally without needing a separate accounting or invoicing platform. Before using it, we relied on manual invoices and bank transfers, which meant more back-and-forth with clients, delayed payments, and no easy way to track who had actually paid. Now, we can create and send invoices directly, and clients can pay immediately using a card, their PayPal balance, or other supported methods, which has noticeably shortened our payment cycle. It also helps with organization — we can see invoice status (sent, viewed, paid, overdue) in one place instead of cross-checking bank statements. The automated payment reminders have cut down on the time we used to spend manually following up with clients who forgot to pay. Overall, this has freed up time that used to go into administrative work and chasing payments, letting us focus more on actual client work, and it's given clients a smoother, more trustworthy way to pay us, which has helped with client relationships too.

 ### 36. Fast, Secure Invoicing with Easy Email Delivery and Payment Tracking

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Construction | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 30, 2026

**What do you like best about PayPal Invoicing?**

I like how quick it is to create professional invoices which people can then pay safely and securely online. It’s super convenient as you can just email and send them to customers and track if they have been paid or if they have been viewed by the recipient. It makes it so simple for both customers and businesses

**What do you dislike about PayPal Invoicing?**

I think that some of the fees for the processes can be quite high in comparison to other methods. Especially if some of these payments and transactions are small. A lot of customers prefer to have bank transfers so PayPal may be a last option for them as well as the fact some payments aren’t always available instantly which puts people off.

**What problems is PayPal Invoicing solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It makes it easy to request payments from customers anywhere. It’s so much faster and more convenient in comparison to paper invoices. It benefits me so I can send invoices quickly and I can manage if they have paid or seen it all from my app instead of having to wait for them to receive the invoice letter and the invoice take time.

 ### 37. Fast, Simple Invoicing with PayPal Trust and Built-In Tracking

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Apparel & Fashion | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 29, 2026

**What do you like best about PayPal Invoicing?**

What I like best is how fast and simple it is to send a professional invoice directly to a buyer once we've agreed on a price for an off-platform deal. The itemized breakdown and clear payment request make the transaction feel legitimate, which builds trust with buyers I'm dealing with for the first time. I also appreciate the built-in payment tracking and records, since it keeps everything organized for my own bookkeeping across sales. And having the recognized PayPal name behind the invoice tends to reassure buyers more than just sending a raw payment request.

**What do you dislike about PayPal Invoicing?**

What I dislike most is that going off-platform with PayPal Invoicing strips away Grailed's buyer/seller protections, so if a dispute or chargeback happens I'm often left exposed. The fees also take a noticeable cut out of each sale, which adds up across higher-priced items. I've found the dispute resolution process can be slow and tends to favor the buyer, leaving funds frozen while things get sorted out. And buyers sometimes hesitate or get confused when an invoice arrives outside the platform they originally shopped on, which can kill a sale.

**What problems is PayPal Invoicing solving and how is that benefiting you?**

PayPal Invoicing solves the problem of collecting secure payment when I close a deal outside of Grailed, giving me a clean, professional way to request money without exchanging risky payment methods. It benefits me by lowering Grailed's selling fees, since direct deals through PayPal often let me keep more of each sale. It also handles the record-keeping and transaction tracking automatically, which makes managing my sales and bookkeeping far easier. And the trusted PayPal name reassures buyers enough to complete a purchase that started as just a conversation or negotiation.

 ### 38. Simple, Easy & Low Fixed Cost PayPal Invoicing with Customizable Invoices

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 29, 2026

**What do you like best about PayPal Invoicing?**

Paypal invoicing is really easy to use and you only really need a paypal account to get started with it right away. So starting effort and cost are very low, especially since most people already have a Paypal account. Pricing, which is important obviously, is relatively low. Then, money transfers are very easy, invoices are customisable, sending out reminders automatically is very user friendly and lastly, it's nice to keep track of payment statuses.

**What do you dislike about PayPal Invoicing?**

Although starting costs are low because of the lack of fixed fees, the variable fee can be a blocker when the amounts go up. You still really need an accounting system connected to it, which is very doable but does cost money. I would say if you want to scale a business, paypal is not the invoicing tool to use, you should consider a dedicated payments/invoicing/financing platform.

**What problems is PayPal Invoicing solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I would say Paypal Invoicing is facilitating freelancers and small businesses to generate good looking invoices in a quick and easy way. This makes sure that they will get their money easily without to much hassle. Paypal Invoicing makes sure you get your money quickly and easily so you don't have to worry there.

 ### 39. Fast and intuitive billing, but fees and customization limit usage

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Accounting | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 29, 2026

**What do you like best about PayPal Invoicing?**

The creation of invoices is quick and the interface is intuitive, especially for tracking payments. On the integration side, the fact that everything is linked to my existing PayPal account simplifies accounting, and I often receive payments faster than with a traditional transfer. The only downside is the transaction fees, which can weigh on small margins: to take into account in your ROI calculation.

**What do you dislike about PayPal Invoicing?**

Transaction fees quickly eat into the margin, especially on small amounts and for international payments. The invoice templates are not very customizable, which limits brand image consistency. The accounting functions remain quite basic (VAT, exports), and one quickly finds themselves limited as soon as there are slightly more advanced needs. Finally, customer support can be slow when it comes to handling a dispute or unlocking a payment.

**What problems is PayPal Invoicing solving and how is that benefiting you?**

PayPal Invoicing really solves the problem of payment delays: the client can pay with one click upon receipt of the invoice, and I therefore receive payments faster than with a bank transfer. The tool also eliminates a good part of the manual follow-up thanks to automatic reminders and real-time status, which saves me from having to chase after clients. I also appreciate the fact that invoicing and payment collection are centralized in one place, without having to juggle between multiple tools. Finally, the multi-currency feature facilitates international payments, allowing me to work with foreign clients without complication.

 ### 40. Streamlined Invoicing with Seamless Payment Integration

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mayank P. | CEO, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 21, 2026

**What do you like best about PayPal Invoicing?**

I find PayPal Invoicing to be a quick, fast, and easy way to send invoices and get payments directly through the PayPal pay option. I like the payment gateway integration of PayPal, which makes the process better and the work a lot easier. It allows customers to pay directly through their PayPal account or by Credit/Debit card instead of sending wire details. The initial setup of PayPal Invoicing was very easy for my team.

**What do you dislike about PayPal Invoicing?**

I believe that it should be more dynamic and we can add more designing of the company and add more key value in the invoice.

**What problems is PayPal Invoicing solving and how is that benefiting you?**

PayPal Invoicing is a quick and easy way to send invoices and receive payments directly through PayPal. The payment gateway integration simplifies the process, allowing customers to pay directly with their PayPal account or Credit/Debit card, reducing the hassle of sending wire details.

 ### 41. Consistently Excellent Invoicing for Over 15 Years

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sam F. | CEO, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 16, 2025

**What do you like best about PayPal Invoicing?**

We have used paypal invoicing for 15+ years and it has always been excellent. We always recommend paypal invoicing to new businesses. There are many players in the invoicing business but we tend to stick with paypal as a lead option since most people who work for us know how to use their simple system.

**What do you dislike about PayPal Invoicing?**

It would be nice if it integrated into quickbooks and the fees were a little less than the competition. When we use software for invoicing or otherwise its imperative that it is seamless to work with. When you have to open up multiple software programs it makes the process more complex than it needs to be.

**What problems is PayPal Invoicing solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It makes accounts receivable have an easier time of doing their job. It is always a nice feeling as the business owner when the finance department has less work than other companies because the systems we put in place to help their job efforts work flawlessly. We have found paypal invoicing supports that theory.

 ### 42. Easy-to-Use Platform That Makes Invoicing Completed Work Simple

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Architecture & Planning | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 14, 2026

**What do you like best about PayPal Invoicing?**

The platform and interface make it easy to find and invoice for work that has been completed. I also like that it tracks all invoices and includes a strong search option to quickly locate what I need.

Having all invoices in one place makes them easy to review, update, and adjust when necessary. The support associated with the platform is fast and reliable, with clear communication and quick responses.

**What do you dislike about PayPal Invoicing?**

I wish it were easier to apply credit notes to invoices, instead of having to go back and do it manually.

Sometimes the invoice notification process could be generated more clearly, so it’s easier to review and access on mobile.

Also, the login timeout could be longer, or the security checks should verify your identity earlier in the session.

**What problems is PayPal Invoicing solving and how is that benefiting you?**

PayPal invoicing is easy to use, whether it’s for you or for your employees to take over and do what needs to be done, all in one place. It’s easy to track and transfer, and the interface is great for keeping everything you need together. It’s been a real benefit for me, especially with the mobile tracking and overall ease of use, which I find much better than other platforms like QuickBooks.

 ### 43. All-in-One Invoicing & Banking That Gets Invoices Paid Fast

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kendre M. | Business Owner, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 12, 2026

**What do you like best about PayPal Invoicing?**

The ease of having invoicing and banking all in one app. I like knowing that I don’t have to have more software or apps installed and the ease of being able to see banking information and inventory all in one place, is one of the best features. Invoices are received and paid quickly. They can be sent through text or email 📧 r even printed.

**What do you dislike about PayPal Invoicing?**

I have not found anything negative as a downside. Maybe some people receive invoices to their spam or junk folders and therefore take longer to view and pay, but that is very few and far between. Most invoices are viewed and paid quickly and the funds are almost always available instantly in the PayPal app.

**What problems is PayPal Invoicing solving and how is that benefiting you?**

PayPal invoicing is solving having to have multiple softwares downloaded and subscriptions needed to run a business. PayPal is all in one and is hands down one of the best and easiest softwares to use. Whether you are the merchant or the buyer, PayPal invoicing is simple and streamlined for use. All in one is almost always better.

 ### 44. Effortless Invoicing with Minor Support Challenges

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 26, 2026

**What do you like best about PayPal Invoicing?**

I think PayPal Invoicing is easy to use. I've never had an issue with it. It's just a smooth service for my needs. The initial setup was straightforward and quick, with everything asked directly, leaving no room for misunderstanding.

**What do you dislike about PayPal Invoicing?**

I find that it's hard to sort of resolve an issue. I've heard online that if I did get scammed using PayPal Invoicing, it's really hard to contact them and get your money back, since it's PayPal as opposed to a credit card company.

**What problems is PayPal Invoicing solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use PayPal Invoicing to manage payments for my freelance design projects. It helps me track invoices and ensures I receive payments easily. It also states the amounts clearly with clauses, making the payment process straightforward.

 ### 45. Trusted, Easy Invoicing That Gets You Paid Fast

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Health, Wellness and Fitness | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 21, 2026

**What do you like best about PayPal Invoicing?**

I used PayPal Invoicing to send invoices for a while as a contract copywriter. PayPal is trusted and easy to use, making it a good option for me and my clients. I loved how simple and straightforward it was to create and duplicate invoices. And, even more importantly, I was always paid quickly with no issues.

**What do you dislike about PayPal Invoicing?**

There wasn't anything I didn't like about PayPal Invoicing. However, I didn't have multiple SKUs or intricate invoices to send out. Every invoice was nearly identical. So, I'm not sure what it would be like if I had to keep track of different SKUs or set up recurring payments or anything like that. For my needs, it was perfect.

**What problems is PayPal Invoicing solving and how is that benefiting you?**

When I used PayPal invoicing, it solved the problem of having a safe, trusted way to invoice and get paid when working with virtual clients. Rather than asking for an e-transfer or paying for an e-commerce solution with a bunch of extra things I would never have used, I used PayPal Invoicing. It was quick, easy, and trusted by me and my clients.

 ### 46. Create Invoices from Anywhere

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Khalid G. | Director, Marketing and Advertising, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 24, 2026

**What do you like best about PayPal Invoicing?**

Yes, I like PayPal invoicing because it lets me quickly create, send, and track invoices from anywhere. I use it for some of our clients, and the invoicing form is good—it makes it easy to create detailed invoices. However, some improvement is still required. For example, they need to activate this feature in the PayPal app. Also, the support service is not up to standard. Overall, my experience is okay.

**What do you dislike about PayPal Invoicing?**

The invoicing sections load slowly on the website. The platform offers limited branding, automation, and reporting features. It also charges relatively high fees, especially for international payments and currency conversions. In disputes I’ve personally experienced, PayPal tends to favor the buyer. Customer support is also complicated and time-consuming, and it needs further improvement for international clients.

**What problems is PayPal Invoicing solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It’s quick to create, send, and track invoices from anywhere, and the payment process is faster than on other similar platforms. Overall, it feels like a safer and more reliable platform. One thing that should be revised is the charges, especially the conversion fee. Also, new accounts or high-value invoices may face payment holds that delay cash flow, sometimes for weeks.

 ### 47. Clear Setup, But Slow Customer Service

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 09, 2026

**What do you like best about PayPal Invoicing?**

I like the clarity about the process with PayPal Invoicing. You'll know exactly what to do, as it's well explained on their page. When setting up any invoicing system, it's important to know upfront what any hidden charges are, and it was clearly stated with PayPal Invoicing, so you don't get hit by unexpected fees.

**What do you dislike about PayPal Invoicing?**

The time it takes to resolve tickets. Customer service is notoriously slow.

**What problems is PayPal Invoicing solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I used PayPal Invoicing to receive payments from foreign clients. The setup and identity verification were straightforward. I like the clarity about the process and how setup was pretty easy, taking less than an hour with clear information.

 ### 48. Easiest Invoicing Solution with Flexible Payment Options

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Dana B. | Managing Member, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 21, 2026

**What do you like best about PayPal Invoicing?**

I like that PayPal Invoicing gives clients many different options to pay an open invoice using card, bank account, and even credit products. I also like the reporting features and the ease of use. The initial setup was simple and fast. The fact that everyone already uses paypal for personal use cases makes it even more intuitive.

**What do you dislike about PayPal Invoicing?**

The historical line item statements could use improvement. They should be more intuitive and easier to access, especially for mailed statements.

**What problems is PayPal Invoicing solving and how is that benefiting you?**

PayPal Invoicing makes invoicing quick and easy on a familiar platform for clients. It offers many payment options, including card and bank transfers, and provides useful reporting features.

 ### 49. Trusted, Secure Platform with Great Support—But Fees Can Be High

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Konjengbam M. | BDR, Financial Services, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 28, 2025

**What do you like best about PayPal Invoicing?**

I love this platform as it is one of the most trusted and reliable option available for transaction world wide. It supports most of the transaction for purchase of service/product across the globe. This platform also provides capacity for business to expand across the globe, improving globalization goals. I love the security and the ability to do the transaction without fail. The support team of this platform are also good which is much necessary to build customer satisfaction of its product. The platform is pretty clean and have very user friendly user interface.

**What do you dislike about PayPal Invoicing?**

I love this platform for solving the global transaction easier but sometimes i wish that the platform charges are a little bit lower. With fail transaction, i wish that the customer support was more instantly available for solving the issues. I also there are other software like CRM integrated to this platform or even have a separate CRM for itself. Sometimes i feel that the conversion rates are little bit less than it actually should be.

**What problems is PayPal Invoicing solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It solve the global payments without hassle. It solves the payment issues for trade and services across the globe allowing to pool in resources from all over the world allowing the organization to realize goals with efficient resources. More over the platform is reliable with adequate features to protect the interest of the users.

 ### 50. Solid rails for getting paid without yak-shaving

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ravindra N. | SDET - 2, Oil & Energy, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 27, 2025

**What do you like best about PayPal Invoicing?**

Low-friction API + dashboard parity. I can create/send invoices via API during checkout experiments and the finance team can see the exact same record in the PayPal UI, no shadow systems or manual exports.
The Sandbox behaves close enough to live that I can run contract tests in CI, simulate partial payments, and verify email/URL flows without touching real money. Webhooks make it easy to assert state transitions (sent -> viewed -> paid -> refunded) in end-to-end tests.
Idempotency & retries that don’t bite. When a job retries, duplicate invoice creation is neatly avoided. That’s made our nightly backfills boring, in a good way.
Built-in compliance niceties. Line-item taxes, currency handling, and legally sane PDFs mean fewer custom code paths for VAT/GST regions. Our auditors stopped pinging engineering for "one-off proofs."

**What do you dislike about PayPal Invoicing?**

Sandbox sometimes lags on webhook delivery, which makes CI a bit flaky unless we add generous retry/backoff.
Styling of invoice templates is limited, brand teams want finer control over fonts and layout.
Bulk updates are clunky, if you need to void or resend dozens, it’s a script day.
They have limited number of invoicing templates which makes almost same invoice for every merchants who are using PayPal Invoicing

**What problems is PayPal Invoicing solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We stopped building invoice logic ourselves. That cut bugs around proration, multi-currency rounding, and tax display, freeing QA time for product flows. With webhooks wired into our observability, we can correlate “invoice paid” to feature flags and cohort tests. That tightened our feedback loop on pricing experiments. Support can pull a single link/PDF and see lifecycle history, so engineering is no longer in the middle translating database states. Because the Sandbox mirrors live reasonably well, we gate releases with contract and E2E tests that actually catch regressions
