## TeamViewer Reviews
 ### 1. TeamViewer Makes Remote Support Easy and Smooth

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Nidumollu L. | Student, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 19, 2026

**What do you like best about TeamViewer?**

What I like most about TeamViewer is how easy it is to use without feeling overly complicated. I’ve used it for helping friends and family fix issues on their computers, and the connection process is usually quick and smooth. The interface is simple enough that even people who aren’t very tech-savvy can follow along.

**What do you dislike about TeamViewer?**

One thing I dislike about TeamViewer is that the pricing for premium plans also feels a bit expensive for individual users or small teams.
Another downside is that performance can occasionally lag on slower internet connections, especially during high-quality screen sharing or large file transfers. There are also times when updates or security prompts interrupt quick access, which can be frustrating when you need fast remote support.

**What problems is TeamViewer solving and how is that benefiting you?**

TeamViewer helps solve the problem of providing fast and reliable remote access and technical support without needing to be physically present. It allows me to troubleshoot issues, guide users, transfer files, and access devices from anywhere, which saves a lot of time and effort compared to explaining solutions over calls or messages. The biggest benefit is reduced downtime and improved productivity, since problems can be fixed quickly in real time and work can continue smoothly even when devices or team members are in different locations.

**Official Response from Valeria Di Prisco:**

> Hello Nidumollu,

Thank you for sharing such a detailed and thoughtful review. We truly appreciate it!

It’s great to hear that TeamViewer’s ease of use and simple interface make it accessible for everyone, even when supporting friends and family.

We’re glad the connection process is seamless and enables you to deliver quick, hassle-free support while keeping everything running efficiently across locations.

We also appreciate your honest feedback on pricing. We understand that affordability is an important factor, especially for individuals and small teams, and your input is valuable as we continue refining our plans to meet different needs better.

Regarding the occasional lag and interruptions, you mentioned, we understand how disruptive that can be—especially when timely support is critical. To help improve performance, we recommend ensuring both devices are running the latest version of TeamViewer from our website. Restarting the devices and, if possible, resetting the Wi‑Fi/router can also help stabilize the connection and reduce latency.

We hope these tips will help you with future connections.

Best,

Valeria/TeamViewer

 ### 2. Simple and Reliable, but Getting Too Expensive

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** shresth k. | data analyst, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 17, 2026

**What do you like best about TeamViewer?**

What I like best about TeamViewer is that it usually just works without turning setup into an IT project. You send someone an ID and password, connect, and you're in. That simplicity is honestly the main reason it became so popular in the first place. Even non-technical people can figure it out in a few minutes.

I also think its cross platform support is genuinely strong. Windows, Mac, android it handles mixed-device environments better than a lot of competitors. For remote support, especially helping family members or clients, that matters more than flashy features.

I wouldn't pretend its perfect. A lot of users complain about pricing becoming aggressive over the years, random commercial use detected warnings, and occasional lag or connection drops. Those criticisms seem pretty consistent across reviews and Reddit discussions.

**What do you dislike about TeamViewer?**

What I dislike most about TeamViewer is its pricing and licensing system. The software itself is easy to use, but the constant subscription push and random “commercial use detected” flags can make the experience frustrating, especially for personal users. Performance can also feel inconsistent at times, with occasional lag or connection drops during remote sessions.

**What problems is TeamViewer solving and how is that benefiting you?**

TeamViewer solves the problem of remote access and technical support without needing physical access to a device. Instead of traveling or explaining fixes over a phone call, I can instantly connect to another computer, troubleshoot issues, transfer files, or access my own system from anywhere. That saves a lot of time and makes remote work and support far more practical.

It also helps when working across different devices and locations. I can access files, software, or systems remotely without depending on complicated vpn setups, which makes work more flexible and efficient.

**Official Response from Valeria Di Prisco:**

> Hello Shresth,

Thank you for taking the time to share such a detailed and thoughtful review.

It is great to hear that you value the simplicity of connecting, the ease of use for non-technical users, and the strong cross-platform support. Being able to quickly access devices and provide remote help without complex setup is exactly what we aim to deliver, especially across different systems and locations.

We also understand your concerns regarding pricing, performance consistency, and the limitations you mentioned.

Sometimes, TeamViewer may mistakenly flag personal use as commercial. We apologize for the inconvenience. You can learn more here:
https://www.teamviewer.com/en/global/support/knowledge-base/teamviewer-classic/licensing/personal-use/commercial-use-suspected/
If needed, you can request an ID reset here (please include all IDs):
https://www.teamviewer.com/reset

For performance issues like lag or drops, please ensure both devices are updated to the latest version, then try restarting them and your WiFi router.

Thank you again for your balanced perspective and for using TeamViewer to support your remote access needs.

Best regards,

Valeria/TeamViewer

 ### 3. Best Remote control & File Sharing App

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mayank G. | Owner, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 07, 2022

**What do you like best about TeamViewer?**

TeamViewer is the best app for remote desktop connections. Just share TeamViewer ID and password of the person you want to take control of pc. That's it. The best part is that it keeps changing your password whenever you close and start the application, so the security is also maintained, or else anyone can connect to your pc any time. Also, in their new update, you can copy and paste data directly from 1 pc to another.

**What do you dislike about TeamViewer?**

A few security issues were present, but TeamViewer solved them by generating or refreshing passwords at set intervals, so now your password changes at regular intervals. Costs are high after the free plan; the free plan allows only 3 devices to be remotely controlled after logging in.

**What problems is TeamViewer solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We just need to sign in from 1 account on all our devices having team viewer application, then we can directly connect remote desktop without any id and password, but in the free plan, only 3 devices can be connected.

**Official Response from Valeria Di Prisco:**

> Hello Mayank,

Thank you for sharing your experience with TeamViewer.

We’re happy to hear that you find TeamViewer easy to use and reliable for remote desktop connections. It’s great that features like ID-based access, automatic password changes, and secure copy‑paste between devices are working well for you.

We also appreciate your feedback regarding past security concerns and pricing. Security is a top priority for us, and we’re pleased that improvements, such as regularly rotated passwords, have helped address those concerns. Your comments on the free plan and device limits are well noted. Feedback like this helps us better understand how users experience our plans and where we can continue to improve.

Best regards,

 ### 4. Fast, Smooth Remote Access That Makes Helping Friends Easy

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Adrian B. | Unemployed, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 28, 2026

**What do you like best about TeamViewer?**

I like the ability to be on my friend's computer without having to actually be there. I like the remote ability to log in and do what I need to do to help them. Logging in with the ID and password is easy enough. It fast and smooth. I like the ability to turn the desktop background on or off. Have not used the paid subscription, as I only use the free version.
I also have not needed to use the support part of the software either. And as far as I'm aware, there's no AI / Intelligence in TeamViewer.

**What do you dislike about TeamViewer?**

Transferring files can be tedious, depending on how many and how large the files are. And if you're using a software like Teams, Zoom, or Battlenet to talk to the person on the other end, it causing an echo making it hard to talk. They don't hear it, but you do.

**What problems is TeamViewer solving and how is that benefiting you?**

None known.

**Official Response from Valeria Di Prisco:**

> Hello Adrian,

Thank you so much for your review and for sharing your experience.

Glad to hear TeamViewer makes it easy and smooth for you to help friends remotely.

We understand how frustrating audio echo can be when you’re already using tools like Teams, Zoom, or Battle.net for calls. This usually happens because audio is enabled in both applications.

To avoid this, you can disable audio in TeamViewer by going to Settings → Advanced → Remote Control and turning off “Play computer sounds and music” and Voice over IP, if enabled. That way, you can keep using your preferred app for talking while TeamViewer handles only the remote control, eliminating echo and improving collaboration.

We hope this tip will be helpful in your next connections.

Have a nice day!

Valeria/TeamViewer

 ### 5. Efficient Remote Access with Minor Connectivity Hiccups

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Philip F. | Mr, Construction, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 22, 2026

**What do you like best about TeamViewer?**

I use TeamViewer for remote desktop access, troubleshooting computers, file transfers, and support from anywhere without being present at the device. I like how fast TeamViewer connects and handles remote control with low lag, which lets me troubleshoot in real time, diagnose issues instantly, and guide users smoothly. Their response time to give feedback and solve problems is quick, making remote support feel like in-person help. The setup was straightforward; we just installed the client, logged into the account, and assigned devices. The interface is clear, and deploying it across Windows, Mac, and mobile took under an hour with minimal training needed. TeamViewer's better cross-platform support, faster connections, and more stable unattended access were the reasons we switched from AnyDesk and Chrome Remote Desktop.

**What do you dislike about TeamViewer?**

Occasional connection drops, slower performance on weak networks, and pricing for commercial use can be high. Mobile control and file transfer features could also be more intuitive and reliable.

**What problems is TeamViewer solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use TeamViewer for remote access and troubleshooting. It solves cross-platform support issues, lets me access unattended devices, and offers fast connections with low lag, making remote support seamless and reducing downtime.

**Official Response from Ying Qin:**

> Hello Phillip,
Thank you for sharing such a comprehensive review! We’re really pleased to hear that TeamViewer provides fast, reliable connections and helps you deliver seamless remote support across different devices and platforms.
It’s great to see that the quick setup and intuitive interface made deployment easy for your team, and that features like unattended access are supporting your day-to-day operations.
We also hear your feedback around occasional connection drops, performance on weaker networks, and usability improvements, and we appreciate you highlighting these points.
Thanks again for your feedback and for choosing TeamViewer!
Best,
Ying/TeamViewer

 ### 6. Essential Tool for Remote IT Support

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Berk H. | IT Service Desk Analyst, Information Technology and Services, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 20, 2026

**What do you like best about TeamViewer?**

I like TeamViewer's unattended access capability and cross-platform fluid performance. Being able to securely connect to servers or workstations without needing an end-user to accept the connection saves us massive time. Plus, the connection remains stable and fast even under low bandwidth, which is critical for global enterprise support. Deployment across the enterprise was seamless thanks to the MSI package, which allowed us to quietly install and configure it on thousands of endpoints simultaneously using our endpoint management tools. Also, TeamViewer offers much better centralized management, stronger security features, and superior stability for global enterprise support.

**What do you dislike about TeamViewer?**

The main areas for improvement are the high licensing costs for large enterprises and occasional version mismatch issues. Sometimes, if a remote client is running an older version of TeamViewer, the connection fails or forces a slow update process, which delays urgent troubleshooting.

**What problems is TeamViewer solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use TeamViewer to eliminate geographical barriers and reduce downtime. It supports global users instantly, cuts travel costs, and solves technical issues quickly with fast unattended access and secure file transfers.

**Official Response from Ying Qin:**

> Hi Berek,
Thank you for sharing such a comprehensive review! We’re pleased to hear that TeamViewer delivers the performance, stability, and scalability you need to support global users effectively.
It’s great to know that unattended access and enterprise deployment via MSI are helping your team save time and streamline support across thousands of devices.
We also hear your feedback around licensing costs and version mismatch challenges, especially in time-sensitive scenarios, and we appreciate you bringing this to our attention.
Thanks again for your thoughtful feedback and for trusting TeamViewer in your enterprise environment!
Best,
Ying/TeamViewer

 ### 7. Robust Remote Access with Cross-Platform Capabilities

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Muhammad A. | Programme Manager, Information Technology and Services, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 26, 2026

**What do you like best about TeamViewer?**

I like TeamViewer's robust cross-platform capability combined with the high-speed file transfer tool. The end-to-end 256-bit AES encryption gives me peace of mind when handling secure corporate infrastructure data, and the connection remains stable even when bandwidth drops during heavy remote deployments. The initial setup is straightforward and took less than 10 minutes, with a clean and easy-to-understand installation wizard. I also appreciate that TeamViewer handles NAT seamlessly right out of the box.

**What do you dislike about TeamViewer?**

The resource consumption on low-spec legacy servers can be quite heavy, causing temporary CPU spikes during initialization. Additionally, managing multi-monitor setups across mismatched resolutions from a single local screen can be clunky, often requiring manual scaling to read tiny files. The commercial licensing structure is also steep for scaling an engineering environment.

**What problems is TeamViewer solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use TeamViewer to remotely access and manage servers, solving critical downtime issues and eliminating geographical barriers, improving mean time to resolution.

**Official Response from Valeria Di Prisco:**

> Hello Muhammad,

Thank you for sharing such a detailed and insightful review.

It is great to hear that you value TeamViewer’s cross-platform capability, stable connections, and secure file transfer. Supporting secure and efficient access to critical infrastructure is exactly what we aim to deliver.

We understand your concerns about performance on lower-spec devices, working with multiple monitors with different resolutions, and how licensing scales in larger setups. These are all valid points. To help you get the most relevant support, we’ve created a dedicated space where you can share more details about your setup and experiences and connect directly with our experts and other users.

 ### 8. Best on the market. Best support!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Financial Services

**Reviewed Date:** May 20, 2026

**What do you like best about TeamViewer?**

TeamViewer is, in my opinion, the best remote support product on the market. It is very reliable, easy to use, and works across different devices and environments without unnecessary complexity. The connection quality is stable, the interface is clear, and it saves a lot of time in daily IT support work. I also really appreciate the fast and professional support. For the value and functionality TeamViewer provides, the pricing is fair and reasonable.

**What do you dislike about TeamViewer?**

There is honestly not much I dislike about TeamViewer. The product works very well and covers our needs in a professional way. If I had to mention something, it would only be that some advanced settings and licensing options can sometimes feel a bit complex at first. However, this is not a major issue, because the product itself is very strong and the support team is helpful and responsive when questions come up.

**What problems is TeamViewer solving and how is that benefiting you?**

TeamViewer solves many of the daily challenges related to remote IT support, device management, and fast troubleshooting. It allows us to securely access systems from anywhere, support employees remotely, and resolve technical issues immediately without needing to be physically on-site. This saves a significant amount of time and improves operational efficiency.

It is especially beneficial for supporting users in different locations, handling urgent incidents quickly, and maintaining business continuity. The platform is reliable, easy to deploy, and works consistently across different operating systems and devices. Because of this, our support processes are faster, more professional, and less stressful for both IT staff and end users.

**Official Response from Ying Qin:**

> Hello,
Thank you for your thoughtful review and kind words about TeamViewer. We are glad to hear that our solution is helping you provide efficient, reliable remote support and streamline your daily IT workflows.
We also appreciate your feedback on the complexity of certain advanced features and licensing options. Insights like yours are important in helping us further improve the user experience.
Thank you again for your feedback and continued trust in TeamViewer.
Best,
Ying/TeamViewer

 ### 9. Effortless Remote Access, Highly Recommended

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Nisha Y. | Bank Teller, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 19, 2026

**What do you like best about TeamViewer?**

I love TeamViewer because it provides easy, reliable remote access. It’s very flexible and saves me a lot of time, and the initial setup was straightforward as well.

**What do you dislike about TeamViewer?**

Many TeamViewer users complain about the high pricing, occasional lag during remote sessions, and frequent “commercial use suspected” warnings that can end up restricting personal accounts. Some also describe the software as resource-heavy, and they dislike the frequent updates as well as compatibility issues between different versions. Although TeamViewer is generally reliable, users sometimes report random disconnections or slow file transfers. There are also lingering concerns tied to past security incidents, even though the company has strengthened its security measures over time. Because of these drawbacks, some users prefer alternatives such as AnyDesk or RustDesk for a simpler or more affordable remote-access option.

**What problems is TeamViewer solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use TeamViewer for remote desktop access and troubleshooting when I can’t be physically present. It’s easy to use, reliable, and flexible, and it saves me a lot of time when I need to help someone quickly.

**Official Response from Ying Qin:**

> Hi Nisha,
Thank you for your thoughtful and detailed review!
We’re glad to hear that TeamViewer helps you save time and provides reliable, flexible remote access. That’s exactly what we aim to deliver.
We also appreciate you sharing these broader concerns around performance, pricing, and account restrictions. Feedback like this is important to us as we continuously work to improve both the product experience and transparency.
If you ever run into specific issues such as lag, disconnections, or account warnings, our TeamViewer Community at https://community.teamviewer.com/ would be happy to take a closer look and support you.

 ### 10. Unmatchable Cross-Platform Remote Utility, but UI Needs Work

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Pradip W. | Sr Quality Lead, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 18, 2026

**What do you like best about TeamViewer?**

I really appreciate the secure unattended access TeamViewer offers, allowing me to log into remote, isolated test beds or automated infrastructure without needing someone else to accept the connection, all supported by strong security. The low-latency performance is another standout feature; even when working with heavy, resource-intensive software setups, the screen responsiveness remains incredibly smooth with no lag, which is essential for real-time debugging. Additionally, TeamViewer's flawless cross-platform agility is impressive, effortlessly bridging the gap between Windows, Linux, and mobile systems, turning a fragmented network of physical devices into a unified workspace. The initial setup was extremely easy and intuitive, requiring almost zero configuration to get started.

**What do you dislike about TeamViewer?**

Cluttered and Fragmented New UI: The recent overhaul of the user interface (the "New TeamViewer" design) has made navigation unnecessarily complex. Finding advanced settings, managing specific device properties, or adjusting connection configurations now requires digging through hidden menus compared to the clean, straightforward classic layout. On older laptops or systems with limited RAM, the full TeamViewer client can be a resource hog. It occasionally causes minor system lag or high CPU usage during active, high-resolution remote sessions.

**What problems is TeamViewer solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As a Senior Quality Lead, TeamViewer solves bottlenecks in defect resolution and environment management. It enables instant remote debugging, provides secure access to test labs, allows cross-platform control, and assists in critical release decisions with real-time team collaboration.

**Official Response from Valeria Di Prisco:**

> Hi there,

Thank you for taking the time to share such a detailed and insightful review.

It’s great to see how well unattended access supports your workflow, especially in isolated or automated setups, and the added security clearly gives that extra peace of mind. The smooth, low‑latency performance you mention is also a big win—having that level of responsiveness makes real-time debugging so much more efficient.
The cross‑platform flexibility you highlighted is another strong point, bringing everything together seamlessly across devices. And its always a plus when the setup is quick and intuitive from the start.

We also understand your concerns about the new interface and the impact on navigation, as well as the resource usage on older systems. Adjusting to changes can be challenging, especially when you rely on efficiency in your daily work. To help make the transition easier, we invite you to explore this guide for the new interface, which covers navigation and key features: https://www.teamviewer.com/en/global/support/knowledge-base/teamviewer-remote/

Thank you again for your thoughtful and balanced feedback.

 ### 11. Effortless Remote Access with Robust Control

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Rishabh S. | SDE, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 18, 2026

**What do you like best about TeamViewer?**

I use TeamViewer primarily to install software on different clients' systems and to share coding experiences with other developers. I like that TeamViewer is easy to install and isn't very buggy. It's really simple to connect with anyone around the globe. A standout feature for me is the ability to not only connect but also control other people's screens. This control feature was especially important for us; it's the reason we switched from Google Meet to TeamViewer, as Google Meet didn't have this capability. Additionally, I found the initial setup of TeamViewer very easy, I would rate it a 10 out of 10.

**What do you dislike about TeamViewer?**

Maybe it could start working on low network areas also. I know it's tough, but maybe the team can try.

**What problems is TeamViewer solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use TeamViewer to install software for different clients and share coding experiences with developers. It helps me work remotely in hybrid and work-from-home settings, especially during COVID times.

**Official Response from Valeria Di Prisco:**

> Hello Rishabh,

Thank you for taking the time to share such a detailed experience.

It is great to hear that TeamViewer supports your work effectively, from installing software on client systems to collaborating with other developers. We are especially glad that the remote control capability and the ease of setup made a positive difference for you.

We also understand your point about performance in low network areas. We know how important it is to stay connected consistently, especially when working remotely or supporting others, and we appreciate you highlighting this challenge.

Thank you again for your thoughtful and balanced feedback and for trusting TeamViewer in your daily work.

Best,

**Reviewed by:** Marco A. | Asistente legal en formación, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**What do you like best about TeamViewer?**

I love the fact that I can be in my house with my work laptop and the technician can connect and solve any issue at any moment of the day without me needing to go to their office. It's really useful since the technician can help me remotely and safely to solve any difficulty I have on my computer. The initial setup was pretty straightforward compared to other tools. Installation was quick and the interface is beginner-friendly, and I could establish a connection within minutes without touching router settings or complicated network stuff.

**What do you dislike about TeamViewer?**

I feel maybe a refurbished image, I feel it's been the same for the last few years and maybe a new 'face' would be great

 ### 14. Simple, Reliable Remote Access with Helpful Support

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ramanpreet S. | Software Developer Tech Marbles , Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 20, 2026

**What do you like best about TeamViewer?**

What I like about TeamViewer is how simple and user-friendly the UI/UX is, which makes it easy to navigate even for beginners. It performs reliably with smooth remote connections and supports useful integration that improves workflow. The onboarding process is quick, and support is very helpful, though it offers good value overall.

**What do you dislike about TeamViewer?**

TeamViewer does offer good value overall, but it can feel a bit expensive for small users.

**What problems is TeamViewer solving and how is that benefiting you?**

TeamViewer helps me easily access and control devices remotely, which saves time and avoids the need for physical presence. It benefits me by improving productivity, offering reliable performance, and making support or collaboration much faster and more convenient. It also simplifies the onboarding and support process, making it easier to assist others without complicated setups.

 ### 16. Reliable Remote Access with Ease and Flexibility

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kunal T. | Support Executive, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 31, 2026

**What do you like best about TeamViewer?**

I really like TeamViewer's ease of use and reliability. The setup process is straightforward, allowing for quick start of remote sessions without complex configurations. Its stable connection quality is impressive, even on average internet connections. I appreciate the secure remote access it offers, which gives me confidence when connecting to sensitive systems. The built-in file transfer feature is a big plus, eliminating the need for third party tools, and the session management is well integrated, making it a dependable tool for day to day remote support and system access. These features help me start support sessions quickly, even with non technical users, and secure connections ensure troubleshooting can be completed without frequent interruptions. The tool has helped reduce setup time and improved my productivity by allowing me to provide quick assistance without requiring a lot of technical setup.

**What do you dislike about TeamViewer?**

One area that could be improved is pricing, especially for individual users or small teams, as the cost can feel high compared to some alternatives. Licensing rules can also be a bit restrictive and sessions may occasionally be flagged incorrectly which can interrupt workflows. Additionally, performance can vary on very low bandwidth connections, where lag or reduced responsiveness becomes noticeable.

**What problems is TeamViewer solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use TeamViewer for remote technical support and system access, solving the problem of providing immediate access without complex setup. It enables realtime troubleshooting, reduces downtime, and ensures consistent access from any location, enhancing productivity and minimizing delays.

**Official Response from Valeria Di Prisco:**

> Hello Kunal,

Thank you for your review and for sharing such an honest and complete review.

It’s great to hear how much TeamViewer supports your daily tasks, from secure remote access to quick and reliable sessions, even with non‑technical users.

If you encounter slow connection issues, we recommend checking that both sides of the connection are running the latest version of TeamViewer, available on our official website. If everything is up to date, try restarting both devices and, if possible, rebooting the Wi‑Fi router, as this can often help restore a stable connection.

Regarding your comment on pricing and licensing, it is valid and appreciated. Feedback like yours helps us identify areas for improvement to meet our users' needs better.

All the best,

 ### 17. Quick Setup, Reliable Remote Access

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** vishamber k. | Assistant Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 27, 2026

**What do you like best about TeamViewer?**

I love that TeamViewer provides remote access to systems from any location, allowing me to access my work computer from anywhere, which is incredibly useful for remote work. I also appreciate how easy it is to set up and start using, saving a lot of time, especially when sharing files between devices. The file sharing feature enhances my daily tasks by allowing me to transfer documents instantly without needing email or external devices. It's a reliable and efficient tool for remote support, and the simplicity and ease of use are excellent, particularly since previous tools required more configuration and weren't straightforward for non-technical users. The setup didn't require any complex configuration or technical steps—it was ready to use immediately with just an ID and password, which is important during urgent situations when I need to connect quickly.

**What do you dislike about TeamViewer?**

The free version has limitations, especially for frequent use, which can be improved. Secondly, occasional disconnection can interrupt ongoing tasks, which can be disturbing during important tasks. I've faced disconnection issues mainly while working on remote sessions; sometimes when the connection drops in the middle of diagnosing a problem, I had to reconnect and start the process again. This can be time-consuming, especially when I am guiding someone step by step.

**What problems is TeamViewer solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use TeamViewer for remote access and file sharing, making remote work easier. It saves time with quick setup and efficient connectivity, even in urgent situations.

**Official Response from Ying Qin:**

> Hi Vishmber,
Thank you for sharing such a detailed review.
It is great to hear that TeamViewer helps you stay productive with quick setup, reliable remote access, and easy file sharing, especially when you need to connect fast in urgent situations. We appreciate you highlighting how the simple ID and password setup makes remote work and support more accessible, even for non-technical users.
At the same time, we understand how frustrating it can be when sessions disconnect during important tasks or when step-by-step guidance is interrupted. To improve stability, check that both devices are running the latest TeamViewer version and review the connection quality settings during a session.
If you would like to exchange experiences or tips with other users, we invite you to share your feedback in the TeamViewer Community at https://community.teamviewer.com/, where our team and other users are happy to help.
Thank you for taking the time to share both your positive experience and your constructive feedback on G2.

**Reviewed Date:** May 07, 2026

**What do you like best about TeamViewer?**

I like that TeamViewer is efficient and the connection doesn't drop. I can copy and send files from the client PC I'm connecting to, which helps me send large files from a remote PC to mine and vice versa. I mainly use TeamViewer to provide technical support to PCs in other cities, and this saves me time and money since I can check them without being physically present. ### 20. Versatile Remote Access with a Pricing Challenge

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Rajuri S. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 29, 2026

**What do you like best about TeamViewer?**

I often use TeamViewer for accessing my Mac or Windows PC through my phone. One of the most practical problems it solves for me is accessing a "sleeping" machine, which is perfect for grabbing a file from a home computer while I’m out, or updating a server late at night without needing someone else to be there to accept the connection. If I had to pick one thing that stands out as a "best-in-class" feature, it’s the unmatched cross-platform versatility. TeamViewer lets me log into a full Windows or Mac desktop using my phone, giving me total control to right-click, drag files, and even restart the machine. The initial setup was easy, which is always a plus.

**What do you dislike about TeamViewer?**

For small businesses or individual power users, the jump from 'Free' to 'Paid' is a massive financial leap.

**What problems is TeamViewer solving and how is that benefiting you?**

TeamViewer lets me access sleeping machines remotely for file retrieval or updates without needing on-site acceptance. Its cross-platform versatility allows total control of desktops from a phone, enhancing efficiency.

**Official Response from Ying Qin:**

> Hi Rajuri,
Thank you for sharing such a detailed review. We’re glad to hear that TeamViewer’s cross‑platform versatility and ability to access sleeping devices remotely have been especially valuable for you. It’s also great to know the initial setup was smooth. Your feedback is valuable and helps inform ongoing discussions around accessibility and value.
Best,
Ying/TeamViewer

 ### 21. Reliable Remote Access, Ideal for Collaboration

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** DIMPLE SAI A. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**What do you like best about TeamViewer?**

I appreciate TeamViewer's ability to provide secure and seamless remote access to high-performance engineering systems, allowing me to use resource-intensive CAD/CAE applications without interruption. Its real-time screen sharing capabilities enhance design collaboration and communication. I also find it significantly improves productivity, reduces downtime, and supports efficient cross-location coordination. At times, performance can be affected by network latency, especially when working with heavy CAD models, leading to slight lag and reduced responsiveness. Additionally, file transfer for large engineering data can be slower compared to dedicated systems. Occasional connection drops or session stability issues may also impact workflow continuity. Enhancements in performance optimization for graphics-intensive applications and more robust session stability would further improve the overall experience.

**What problems is TeamViewer solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use TeamViewer for remote access and real-time collaboration, solving location and hardware limitations. It supports uninterrupted design work, enhances communication, and boosts productivity, particularly with CAD/CAE applications.

Finally, be sure that your feedback is incredibly valuable, and we will make sure it reaches the right team.

All the best!

We hope these tips will be helpful for future connections.

 ### 22. Seamless Remote Access with Room for Improvement

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mrinal S. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 28, 2026

**What do you like best about TeamViewer?**

I love how the interface is extremely user-friendly, which makes using TeamViewer a straightforward experience. The file transfer and data security features are particularly valuable to me because we deal with highly classified data, so being able to easily and securely transfer files is crucial. I find the remote access feature very smooth, especially since we're working with high computational software that requires remote access. Also, the initial setup and integration of TeamViewer felt very smooth and quick, and I really like the overall functionality it offers, which motivated us to switch to TeamViewer for remote access and internal file transfers.

**What do you dislike about TeamViewer?**

Although the platform is very user friendly, sometimes while taking remote access it does lag a bit due to connectivity issues. Also, if it can be integrated to work with CAD files and saving them to the server for using them in the future and also can be integrated as a PLM, it would be very helpful for the job.

**What problems is TeamViewer solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use TeamViewer to access work computers remotely, solve software access issues, and ensure data security and file transfer, essential for handling classified information.

**Official Response from Valeria Di Prisco:**

> Hi Mrinal,

Thank you for your thoughtful and detailed review.

We’re delighted to hear that TeamViewer’s user‑friendly interface, smooth remote access, and quick setup have made a positive impact on your daily work. It’s especially great to know that our secure file transfer and data protection features support your need to handle highly classified information with confidence.

Regarding the connectivity issues, we suggest ensuring that both sides have the latest version of TeamViewer available on our website.

If this is the case, a resetting of the devices and, if possible, resetting also the WiFi, could solve the issue.

We hope these tips will help you in future connections.

Have a nice day!

 ### 23. Seamless Collaboration for CAD Teams with TeamViewer

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** RITIK RAJ S. | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 28, 2026

**What do you like best about TeamViewer?**

I like the stability of TeamViewer when dealing with heavy CAD models like bumpers, headlight systems, and claddings all together during CAE analysis. Unlike other screen-sharing apps that tend to lag or freeze, TeamViewer handles the heavy graphics smoothly, allowing us to easily rotate, pan, and inspect the models without delays. It makes it easy to connect online and share screens with suppliers, which is great for maintaining high standards of discussion and solving complex CAD problems efficiently.

**What do you dislike about TeamViewer?**

The built-in file transfer feature could be improved as we are unable to send our CAD files. Also, version mismatch between supplier and our system causes some errors and due to this frequent disconnect happens. Sending a full CAD package directly through the app usually times out.

**What problems is TeamViewer solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use TeamViewer to bridge the communication gap with suppliers, making it easy to have live discussions and solve complex CAD problems more efficiently with screen sharing.

**Official Response from Valeria Di Prisco:**

> Hello Ritik,

Thank you for your detailed and well-balanced feedback.

It’s great to know that TeamViewer plays an important role in bridging communication gaps and supporting efficient problem-solving with your partners, and that TeamViewer’s stability and performance with complex CAD and CAE models help support your collaboration with suppliers and enable productive technical discussions.

We also appreciate you highlighting the challenges you’ve experienced with file transfers and version compatibility. Handling large CAD packages can be demanding, and timeouts or disconnects are understandably disruptive. Your feedback about version mismatches and the limitations of the built-in file transfer is valuable and helps guide our ongoing improvements.

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. We truly value it.

Best,

Valeria/TeamViewer

 ### 24. A Reliable Remote Access Tool with Minor Connectivity Issues

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Likhit Shyam M. | INR Loan Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 28, 2026

**What do you like best about TeamViewer?**

I've been using TeamViewer for over 12 years to help family and friends by taking control of their systems to fix issues. It's easy to set up, secure, and works across devices like laptops and tablets. I love how it saves effort and avoids unnecessary back and forth, whether accessing my own system remotely or checking something for work. The file transfer feature is pretty handy for quickly moving something from one system to another, saving time. Remote control stands out as it lets me use a device from anywhere without being physically present. Switching to TeamViewer proved stable and fitting for our needs compared to the previous product. The initial setup was easy and convenient, with minimal time to get started using the ID and password.

**What do you dislike about TeamViewer?**

I find that performance on weaker Internet connections needs improvement. When the connection isn’t great, it can get laggy, with mouse movements feeling delayed and screen quality dropping significantly. It can also result in a blurry screen, screen freezes, and random disconnects.

**What problems is TeamViewer solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use TeamViewer for easy remote access, fixing devices, screen sharing, and file transfers. It saves effort and avoids unnecessary back and forth, especially when helping family or accessing my work system.

**Official Response from Ying Qin:**

 ### 26. Easy Admin Switching with Powerful Remote Tools and Real-Time Chat

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sandeep V. | Apple support specialist , Information Technology and Services, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 21, 2026

**What do you like best about TeamViewer?**

As a consultant, I’ve found it very easy to switch a user profile from a standard user to an admin account. I also appreciate the range of features available, especially remote reboot and remote connect, which are genuinely helpful in day-to-day support. Another feature I really like is being able to chat with the end user in real time while I’m using remote access. We really love having that option.

**What do you dislike about TeamViewer?**

I don’t really have any dislikes, unless you’re expecting absolutely no delays in end-user support. Overall, it’s a helpful tool for an engineer to have on hand, especially when dealing with stressful remote sessions.

**What problems is TeamViewer solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Major problems were solved, especially in situations where we don’t have any remote tool solution available. For example, when we take access during a Teams call, we can’t enter admin credentials to install the software because the password prompt blocks us.

With TeamViewer, those session-related issues have been resolved successfully, and remote access works much more smoothly.

**Official Response from Ying Qin:**

> Hi Sandeep,
Thank you for sharing your experience. We’re pleased to hear that TeamViewer’s admin access, remote reboot, real‑time chat, and overall stability support you effectively during demanding remote sessions. It’s great to know TeamViewer helps overcome limitations with admin prompts and remote access scenarios where other tools aren’t sufficient.
Best,
Ying/TeamViewer

 ### 27. Great for Remote Access, Needs Better Audio Functionality

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Angus S. | Solutions Consultant, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 28, 2026

**What do you like best about TeamViewer?**

I like the ease of connectivity and screen sharing with TeamViewer. The connection delay is almost nonexistent, which is great. I also find it really helpful that I can presave my mobile device's connection details on my desktop. This feature saves me from having to waste time entering numbers and codes during meetings or presentations. The initial setup was very easy too, with a simple download, installation, and signing in with my login credentials.

**What do you dislike about TeamViewer?**

Audio and microphone sharing is poor. You used to be able to chat and talk through it when connecting to other people's PCs. For some reason, that performance seems to be poor quality or doesn't exist sometimes.

**What problems is TeamViewer solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use TeamViewer for remote connections to customer PCs and my mobile device. It solves controlling my mobile phone during meetings, and ease of connectivity and screen sharing saves time by presaving connection details.

I often use TeamViewer alongside tools like Microsoft Teams and Excel, which helps streamline collaboration and reduces back-and-forth communication. The initial setup was very straightforward and quick, and the process of sharing IDs and passwords is simple, so we were able to connect and start using it almost immediately.

**What do you dislike about TeamViewer?**

One area that could be improved is the pricing, as it can be quite high, especially for smaller teams or individual users. Sometimes, connection performance can vary depending on network conditions, which may cause slight delays during remote sessions. ### 30. Temviewer

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** David G. | Technicien-coordonnateur à la mise en ondes, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 12, 2025

**What do you like best about TeamViewer?**

I really appreciate TeamViewer, especially for its reliability and ease of use. However, for people less comfortable with computers, the tool can sometimes seem intimidating. It is therefore important to support users and clearly explain how it works. The main difficulty often comes from a lack of understanding of the software's purpose, which can create a mistaken impression that access is permanent.

**What do you dislike about TeamViewer?**

For people who are not very familiar with computers, installation and getting started can be a challenge. Clear guidance and some additional explanations are sometimes necessary for the experience to be fully positive.

**What problems is TeamViewer solving and how is that benefiting you?**

TeamViewer allows me to help my family and friends remotely, especially to perform security updates or updates from the Microsoft Store. The tool greatly simplifies technical support without the need to travel. Even when users explicitly give me permission to intervene, it can be difficult to explain the concrete benefits to them. Many do not realize that updates — even those automatically deployed by Microsoft — enhance the security and stability of their device. It is therefore important to remind them that they always remain in control: I can only access their computer when they authorize it, and only for the duration of the session.

 ### 31. Effortless Remote Access, Priced on the Higher Side

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Abhiram D. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 24, 2026

**What do you like best about TeamViewer?**

I like TeamViewer because it requires no complicated setup, making the initial setup pretty straightforward and the onboarding easy. I also appreciate how it consolidates features such as file transfer, remote rebooting, and screen recording all in one place, which enhances my productivity. Instead of emailing files back and forth or using a shared directory, I can use the drag-and-drop feature within the application for file transfer. Also, it allows me to access my work laptop from anywhere, which is especially useful when I'm working from home.

**What do you dislike about TeamViewer?**

Pricing can be steep for individuals. A more affordable version for small teams, say 2-3 member teams, should be available.

**What problems is TeamViewer solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use TeamViewer to access my work laptop from anywhere, streamlining my workflow with easy file transfer, remote rebooting, and screen recording. The setup is uncomplicated, and I save time by dragging and dropping files instead of emailing.

**Official Response from Ying Qin:**

> Hi Abhiram,
Thanks for sharing your experience. It’s great to hear that TeamViewer makes remote access simple and efficient for you, from easy onboarding to features like drag‑and‑drop file transfer and remote reboots, helping streamline your daily workflow.
We understand your concern about pricing for individuals and very small teams. Feedback like yours helps us better understand customer needs and informs ongoing discussions around flexibility and value for different types of users.
Best,

It is great to hear that TeamViewer helps you maintain control and security in your business environment by clearly separating access between the Host installations and the full version. That setup can be very effective for professional remote support.

 ### 36. TeamViewer has been perfect as a remote IT support tool

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Construction

**Reviewed Date:** April 03, 2026

**What do you like best about TeamViewer?**

It is reliable and easy for me and my users to work with. We usually are able to add the QuickSupport app to our user's PCs in advance of any need for support, but even when we do not, it is a breeze to walk users through getting connected. My users are mostly painters and many have very limited computer skills. This tool is a life saver when assisting those users.

**What do you dislike about TeamViewer?**

The mobile device support is cumbersome for users to set up, so for those devices we find it necessary to set up the user side in advance in case they need support.

**What problems is TeamViewer solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It allows me to remotely maintain and support user devices regardless of location. It saves me and my users many hours and lots of frustration when compared to trying to talk a user through a task over the phone. It also allows me to remotely train users on software with which they may be unfamiliar.

**Official Response from Ying Qin:**

> Thank you for sharing your review on G2.
We’re pleased to hear that TeamViewer is reliable and easy to use for both you and your users, and that QuickSupport helps you assist people with limited technical experience. It’s great to know the platform makes it easier to support, train, and guide users remotely—saving time and reducing the frustration of phone‑only support.
We also appreciate your feedback regarding mobile device setup. Insights like this are valuable and help us continue improving the mobile support experience.
Thank you for taking the time to share your experience.
Best,
Ying/TeamViewer

 ### 38. Powerful Remote Access, Built for Enterprise Scale

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Retail | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 30, 2026

**What do you like best about TeamViewer?**

UI / UX
The interface is clearly structured and intuitive to use, even for users who are less tech-savvy. New employees can navigate the system without extensive training, which significantly reduces the need for internal training.

Integration
Integration with Microsoft Entra ID works seamlessly—SSO, automatic provisioning via Entra groups, and role-based assignment all run smoothly. For companies that rely on the Microsoft 365 ecosystem, this is a significant advantage.

Performance
Connection quality remains strong even under suboptimal network conditions. Latency and video quality can be adjusted with granular precision—in day-to-day use, it’s clear that no corners were cut when it comes to reliability.

Pricing / ROI
The licensing model is highly scalable for enterprise environments. Thanks to reduced manual administrative overhead and automation capabilities, the investment pays for itself relatively quickly—especially for medium to large deployments.

Support / Onboarding
The documentation is comprehensive and practical. Support is knowledgeable and responds effectively even in complex scenarios—no pointless ticket ping-pong.

AI / Intelligence
The AI-powered features—including session insights and automated diagnostics—help proactively identify issues. This significantly reduces the IT team’s workload and improves the mean time to resolution.

Translated with DeepL.com (free version)

**What do you dislike about TeamViewer?**

Integrating external partners who do not have their own Tensor license remains a challenge. The available options—manual integration or Entra B2B Guests with mandatory 2FA—solve the problem, but they create additional work for both sides. A dedicated guest access flow specifically designed for external users would be a real added value.

**What problems is TeamViewer solving and how is that benefiting you?**

TeamViewer eliminates the need for physical on-site visits by enabling reliable, location-independent access to systems – whether for home office users, remote branches, or external devices. This saves significant time and travel costs.

**Official Response from Valeria Di Prisco:**

> Thank you so much for taking the time to share such a detailed and insightful review!

We’re thrilled to hear that TeamViewer’s intuitive interface, strong Entra ID integration, and reliable performance are making a meaningful impact on your daily operations. It’s great to see that the platform helps reduce onboarding time, streamline administration, and deliver real value across your organization.

We also appreciate your positive remarks about our support, documentation, and the benefits you’re seeing from AI‑powered features.

Regarding your point about integrating external partners, we appreciate your feedback and are actively exploring ways to make this process smoother and more efficient for all parties involved.

Thanks again for your thoughtful feedback and for being part of the TeamViewer community. We’re committed to continuously improving the platform and supporting our users' success.

All the best!

 ### 39. Effortless Remote Access with Zero Lag

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Naga K. | Data Analyst, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 11, 2026

**What do you like best about TeamViewer?**

I mostly use TeamViewer to jump into remote client servers to debug data pipelines and troubleshoot SQL errors. It basically eliminates the VPN lag nightmare, allowing me to securely jump into client environments and fix data pipelines. It is very fast, and the screen doesn't lag or get blurry. It feels like I am actually sitting in front of the client computer. It stops the slow connection headache; usually logging into client systems is slow, but this makes it easy to jump in, fix errors, and get out quickly. The setup is easy and simple.

**What do you dislike about TeamViewer?**

It can be quite expensive and there is lot of buttons and features I don't really use for my daily work.

**What problems is TeamViewer solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use TeamViewer to jump into remote client servers to debug data pipelines. It eliminates VPN lag, securely accessing client environments to fix issues quickly without connection headaches.

**Official Response from Ying Qin:**

> Hi Naga,
Thank you for sharing your experience! We’re really pleased to hear that TeamViewer helps you quickly jump into remote systems and resolve issues without the delays often seen with VPN connections.
It’s great to know that the speed, clarity, and ease of setup support your day-to-day work and make troubleshooting more efficient.
We also hear your feedback around pricing and the number of features, and we appreciate you highlighting this.
Thanks again for your feedback and for choosing TeamViewer!

 ### 40. So disappointed by TeamViewer

**Rating:** 0.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 13, 2026

**What do you like best about TeamViewer?**

It is a software that I have used for over 10 years with satisfaction but with a disastrous commercial policy!

**What do you dislike about TeamViewer?**

No respect for their client. No respect for their commitments. No respect for the perpetual license acquired when it was very useful for them to develop and completely disregarded today.

**What problems is TeamViewer solving and how is that benefiting you?**

In the past, this program was very effective for remote maintenance. Now, my perpetual license only allows me to remotely maintain elements within my local network. Therefore, it holds no interest. The only benefit I gain from it today is understanding that one should not trust certain publishers and that one should always scrutinize the competition before committing. It is also about understanding that it is never too late to react and that it is the clients and consumers who keep these people, who disdain us, alive.

**Official Response from Valeria Di Prisco:**

 ### 41. Secure, Seamless Remote Access with TeamViewer

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Abhishek G. | Senior Software Engineer, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 27, 2026

**What do you like best about TeamViewer?**

I have used TeamViewer to access customer systems to show them some use cases of our software or to help them if they need assistance remotely, and it was perfect. I can work remotely and don't have to travel to customer sites. It's secured, as we have to provide an authentication code to access it, and it works seamlessly. It doesn't feel like I have taken remote access; it feels like I am using my own system. Customers trust TeamViewer due to its security, and no one can access it unless they have the secure code. Additionally, the initial setup was very easy.

**What do you dislike about TeamViewer?**

Nothing

**What problems is TeamViewer solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use TeamViewer to work remotely, so I don't have to travel to customer sites. It's secure with an authentication code and feels seamless like using my own system.

**Official Response from Ying Qin:**

> Hi Abhishek,
It’s great to hear how TeamViewer fits naturally into your workflow—from helping customers remotely to avoiding unnecessary travel. That “feels like your own system” experience is exactly what we strive for, so it’s wonderful to see that reflected in your day-to-day use.
We’re also glad that the easy setup and secure access give both you and your customers confidence when working remotely.
Thanks so much for sharing your experience, it really means a lot!

 ### 42. Easy Remote Access, But Pricing Concerns

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jamie T. | Lead Data Scientist, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 16, 2026

**What do you like best about TeamViewer?**

I find TeamViewer easy to use and widely recognized, making it practical for remote access and connection to client systems, even when they are on different networks globally. I appreciate its safety features, offering a secure connection with little client worry about risks. The initial setup was very easy, just the installation of the software, which is great for quick deployment on client machines. I also like that it gets the job done and I would rate it a 10 out of 10 in terms of recommending it to others.

**What do you dislike about TeamViewer?**

The price can sometimes get in the way of things, and then clients want to move to something free. Extend capabilities of the free version.

**What problems is TeamViewer solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use TeamViewer for remote access and connection to client systems globally, solving the problem of accessing systems remotely on different networks.

**Official Response from Ying Qin:**

> Hello Jamie,

 ### 43. Easy-to-Use, Reliable Remote Access with Strong Cross-Platform Support

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Chetana M. | IT support Engineer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 13, 2026

**What do you like best about TeamViewer?**

What I like most about TeamViewer is how easy it is to use and how reliable the remote connection is. It provides secure remote access to devices from virtually anywhere, which makes troubleshooting and IT support quicker and more efficient. I also value its cross-platform compatibility, since it lets me manage different systems smoothly without hassle.

**What do you dislike about TeamViewer?**

One drawback of TeamViewer is that the free version comes with limitations and may sometimes flag sessions as commercial use. On top of that, the licensing can be expensive for organizations. I’ve also experienced occasional connectivity delays, which seem to depend on network conditions.

**What problems is TeamViewer solving and how is that benefiting you?**

TeamViewer addresses the need for remote access and technical support without requiring physical presence. It makes it easy to troubleshoot issues quickly, transfer files, and manage devices from anywhere.

For me, this means saving time, boosting productivity, and providing efficient IT support to users no matter where they are located.

**Official Response from Valeria Di Prisco:**

> Hello Chetana,

We’re thrilled to hear how TeamViewer is helping you streamline remote access, troubleshoot issues faster, and support users wherever they are. Saving time and boosting productivity are exactly the kinds of benefits we strive to deliver.

 ### 44. TeamViewer Makes Remote Access Convenient and Reliable

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kumar Varun V. | Product Management & Marketing Manager, Education Management, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 30, 2026

**What do you like best about TeamViewer?**

The biggest advantage of TeamViewer is the convenience it offers. Whether it’s helping someone remotely or accessing your own system on the go, it just works reliably without much setup.

**What do you dislike about TeamViewer?**

Overall it’s a great tool, but sometimes the connection quality depends heavily on internet stability, which can impact the experience. Licensing can also be a bit confusing at times.

**What problems is TeamViewer solving and how is that benefiting you?**

TeamViewer helps address remote troubleshooting, system access, and collaboration challenges. Instead of relying on on-site support, issues can be resolved instantly, which saves time and keeps operations running smoothly.

**Official Response from Ying Qin:**

> Hello Kumar,
Thank you for sharing your experience! We’re happy to hear that TeamViewer makes remote access simple, reliable, and convenient for your day-to-day work.
It’s especially great to know that it helps you resolve issues quickly and keep operations running without being on-site.

 ### 45. Hassle-Free, Convenient Interface That’s Easy to Use

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Aditya T. | Sales Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 25, 2026

**What do you like best about TeamViewer?**

I like its interface and how easy it is to work with. It’s hassle-free, convenient, and straightforward to use.

**What do you dislike about TeamViewer?**

The on-screen control bar is sometimes hard to toggle. It ends up in the middle of the screen, and then we have to drag it out of the way.

**What problems is TeamViewer solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Since we work in a hybrid mode, we sometimes get stuck with system-related issues and need IT support. These problems can be difficult to solve on our own, so we allow them to take control, which makes the task much easier.

**Official Response from Ying Qin:**

> Hi Aditya,
Thanks for your feedback! We’re glad to hear TeamViewer’s interface feels easy and convenient for your day‑to‑day work, especially in hybrid IT support scenarios. We appreciate your note about the on‑screen control bar and will take this usability feedback into account as we continue refining the experience.
Best,
Ying/TeamViewer

 ### 46. Reliable Remote Access

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Yves Noriel F. | Customer Service Representative, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 25, 2026

**What do you like best about TeamViewer?**

TeamViewer is super easy to use and just works. Connecting to another device takes seconds, and it’s been really reliable for remote support.

**What do you dislike about TeamViewer?**

While TeamViewer is powerful, the cost can be a drawback, particularly for small businesses. There are also moments where connections lag or disconnect, and the commercial-use detection in the free version can interrupt sessions unexpectedly.

**What problems is TeamViewer solving and how is that benefiting you?**

TeamViewer addresses the challenge of accessing and supporting devices remotely without having to be physically on-site. This is particularly helpful for troubleshooting, routine system maintenance, and assisting team members in real time. It saves time, cuts down on travel, and lets me resolve issues faster, which ultimately improves overall productivity and response times.

**Official Response from Valeria Di Prisco:**

> Hi Yves,

Thank you so much for your rating.

 ### 47. Works like it should.

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software

**Reviewed Date:** May 21, 2026

**What do you like best about TeamViewer?**

I like that it does what it does WELL. When connected, the connection is generally solid and responsive. I also like that there are a variety of tools at the top to easily do things like file transfer, switch monitors, and chat. The ability to create a remote session and send an invite to a user is great

**What do you dislike about TeamViewer?**

Quite honestly, probably the cost - which has almost doubled since my initial purchase. I do understand that, in that many features have been added, and that costs money. (At the end of the day, tho, the program works VERY well, and I will almost certainly continue to subscribe.) Otherwise, my critiques are minor... I think the remote support setup for the remote user could maybe be a little clearer, minor tweaks to the user interface, etc - but functionally, no problems.

**What problems is TeamViewer solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I write some specialty software that requires an annual update, and I frequently have to assist my non-techie customers with moving files around, or finding prior year data to roll forward. In the past, that has been just talking thru things on the telephone. Being able to provide remote support with Teamviewer dramatically reduces the time I spend doing that, because I can see things myself. My customers don't care and don't even need to know how I arrive at a solution to their problem; they just need it to work. The faster that I can accomplish that for them, the better - and Teamviewer helps me do that.

**Official Response from Ying Qin:**

> Hi TeamViewer user,
Thank you for taking the time to share such a detailed review! We’re glad to hear that TeamViewer delivers a reliable and responsive connection, and that features like file transfer, multi-monitor support, and session invites help make your work easier.

 ### 48. Essential for Global Collaboration and Remote Support

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mukesh R. | Marketing Team, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 19, 2025

**What do you like best about TeamViewer?**

TeamViewer is a platform which works like anydesk. It help us in sharing screens and contents with our clients and employees working all over the world. This is the platform also enable us to get access to the devices along with screens of our newly hired teams that needs training and our clients that needs support during the service booking.

**What do you dislike about TeamViewer?**

The main challenge that I faced while working on TeamViewer is that the software starts lagging when there is weak internet connection so if you want to work on it regularly then always try to access it from a strong internet availability area and go for its premium plan because free plan is has very limited features

**What problems is TeamViewer solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use TeamViewer to do the troubleshooting of IT based issues for our staffs working in remote area of our country as there are certain issues that needs to be check out by professionals and can be rectified with the help of screen sharing also providing demos to new clients with the help of TeamViewer is easy as it's user interface is simple.

**Official Response from Ying Qin:**

> Hello Mukesh,

Thank you for taking the time to share such a detailed review. It’s clear that TeamViewer plays an important role in how your organization collaborates and supports people across different locations. Being able to share screens, guide new team members through training, and assist clients during service bookings — all from anywhere — is exactly the kind of global flexibility TeamViewer is built to provide.

Your point about performance on weak internet connections is completely understandable. Remote tools rely heavily on network stability, and your feedback underscores the importance of connection quality for a seamless experience. Noting the limitations of the free plan is also helpful input.

It’s great to hear that TeamViewer helps your team troubleshoot IT issues in remote areas and makes client demos easier thanks to its straightforward interface. That kind of accessibility and reach enables teams to stay connected and productive, no matter where they are.

We appreciate you sharing your insights and experience with TeamViewer!

 ### 49. Effortless Remote Access, Needs Static Code Improvement

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 19, 2026

**What do you like best about TeamViewer?**

I like TeamViewer because it's easy to access with no lag, and it connects immediately. I feel it's reliable, especially compared to other applications that don't offer the same level of performance. The quick setup and the ability to create an account and connect computers on the fly make it very user-friendly. I appreciate how easy it is to connect, especially compared to my previous experience with LogMeIn, which was more complicated and had connection issues.

**What do you dislike about TeamViewer?**

They should improve the way you give others access and not have a random code. It would be better to have a simple static code to share and let others connect that you choose, to make it easier to connect.

**What problems is TeamViewer solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use TeamViewer for business remote access. It helps me connect to computers remotely without being in the building. It's easy to access, has no lag, connects immediately, and is more reliable and simpler than LogMeIn.

**Official Response from Ying Qin:**

> Hi There,
Thanks for your great review! We’re happy to hear you’re enjoying the speed, reliability, and ease of connecting with TeamViewer.
We also appreciate your feedback on access methods. We’re always working to balance ease of use with security, and suggestions like yours are very helpful.
Best,

 ### 50. Reliable Cross-Platform Remote Support with Powerful Features

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 19, 2026

**What do you like best about TeamViewer?**

I’ve been using TeamViewer regularly for remote support, accessing work systems from home, and helping non-technical family members troubleshoot issues. Overall, it’s one of the most reliable remote desktop tools I’ve used, especially when cross-platform compatibility matters.

The biggest strength is how easy it is to start a remote session. Even people with very little technical knowledge can usually install it and share the session ID/password in a few minutes. The drag-and-drop file transfer and unattended access features save a lot of time during support sessions. I also like that it works consistently across Windows, macOS, Android, and Linux devices without requiring complex network configuration. The connection quality is generally smooth, even on average internet connections.

From a UI/UX perspective, the interface is clean enough for daily use, although some newer updates feel a bit cluttered compared to older versions. Certain admin settings and policy controls can be confusing for enterprise deployments, especially when managing multiple endpoints at scale. Still, for standard remote access workflows, navigation is straightforward and productive.

One underrated benefit is the built-in collaboration ecosystem — chat, screen sharing, session recording, and multi-device support make it useful beyond just remote troubleshooting. I’ve also found the clipboard sync and remote printing features surprisingly practical for hybrid work setups.

In terms of integrations and AI capabilities, TeamViewer has been improving steadily. Features like AI-generated session summaries and analytics for IT support teams can reduce manual documentation work and improve ticket handovers.

Performance is one of the reasons I still prefer it over many alternatives. Sessions connect quickly, and device compatibility is excellent. However, performance can dip slightly on lower bandwidth networks or older systems.

Pricing is probably the weakest part for small businesses or solo professionals. The free version is excellent for occasional personal use, but commercial licensing becomes expensive fairly quickly. Some users also report frustrations around free/commercial-use detection and licensing policies.

Support and onboarding are decent overall. Setup is fast, documentation is extensive, and enterprise deployment tools are powerful once configured properly. That said, some newer UI changes and admin workflows have received criticism from IT admins for becoming unnecessarily complicated.

Overall, TeamViewer remains one of the most dependable remote access platforms available, especially for organizations that need secure remote support across many device types. It’s not the cheapest solution, but the reliability, security features, and broad compatibility make it worth considering for professional IT support environments.

**What do you dislike about TeamViewer?**

What I dislike most about TeamViewer is that the software has gradually become more complicated and expensive compared to how lightweight and user-friendly it used to be.

The biggest frustration is pricing and licensing. For individual professionals or small IT teams, the commercial plans feel overpriced, especially when many advanced enterprise features go unused. The cancellation and renewal policies are also a common complaint — several users report strict renewal terms, unexpected charges, and difficulty canceling subscriptions.

Another issue is the newer UI/UX. Earlier versions were extremely simple: open the app, share the ID/password, and connect instantly. The newer interface feels more cluttered and less intuitive, especially for quick support sessions. Managing devices, finding session controls, and navigating menus now takes more steps than before. Long-time users on Reddit and TeamViewer’s own community forums frequently complain that the redesign reduced productivity instead of improving it.

Performance consistency has also become less reliable over time. While TeamViewer still works well in many cases, I’ve experienced occasional lag, freezing during file transfers, session initialization issues, and random disconnects — even on stable internet connections. This becomes frustrating during urgent remote support sessions where reliability matters most.

I’m also not a fan of how aggressively the platform detects “commercial use” on free accounts. Many legitimate personal users report being restricted or disconnected unexpectedly, which creates a poor experience for people simply helping family or friends remotely.

Support quality is another mixed area. Documentation is decent, but resolving billing or technical issues can sometimes involve slow responses, ticket delays, or generic replies rather than practical solutions.

Overall, TeamViewer is still a powerful and reliable remote access platform, but the combination of rising costs, UI complexity, licensing friction, and inconsistent performance has made it feel less streamlined than it once was.

**What problems is TeamViewer solving and how is that benefiting you?**

TeamViewer mainly solves the problem of remote access and remote technical support. Instead of being physically present to troubleshoot a system, access files, or configure software, I can securely connect to another device from anywhere and handle everything remotely. This has been especially useful for hybrid work, server management, and helping clients or family members with technical issues.

The biggest benefit for me is reduced downtime and faster problem resolution. If someone is facing a software issue, I can connect instantly, take control of the device, transfer files, restart services, and fix the problem in minutes instead of wasting time on calls or in-person visits. Features like unattended access, multi-platform compatibility, and remote file transfer make this process extremely efficient.

It has also improved flexibility in my workflow. I can access my office machine, development environment, or important files remotely while traveling or working from home without needing a traditional VPN setup. The cross-device support between Windows, macOS, Linux, Android, and iOS is genuinely useful because I work across multiple systems regularly.

For IT support and collaboration, TeamViewer helps reduce operational costs and response time. Instead of scheduling onsite visits, remote troubleshooting can be done immediately. Session recording, remote printing, screen sharing, and multi-user support sessions are also valuable for collaboration and documentation purposes.

Another major benefit is productivity. Small issues that would normally interrupt an entire workday can be fixed quickly through remote access. TeamViewer’s newer AI-assisted features, session insights, analytics, and automation tools also help streamline repetitive support tasks and reduce manual documentation work.

That said, while the platform solves critical remote access problems effectively, some newer UI changes and licensing policies have reduced the simplicity that originally made TeamViewer so popular. Many long-time users still appreciate the functionality but feel the software has become more complicated over time.

**Official Response from Ying Qin:**
