What do you like best about TeamViewer?

I really appreciate TeamViewer, especially for its reliability and ease of use. However, for people less comfortable with computers, the tool can sometimes seem intimidating. It is therefore important to support users and clearly explain how it works. The main difficulty often comes from a lack of understanding of the software's purpose, which can create a mistaken impression that access is permanent. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about TeamViewer?

For people who are not very familiar with computers, installation and getting started can be a challenge. Clear guidance and some additional explanations are sometimes necessary for the experience to be fully positive. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"So disappointed by TeamViewer"
What do you like best about TeamViewer?

It is a software that I have used for over 10 years with satisfaction but with a disastrous commercial policy! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about TeamViewer?

No respect for their client. No respect for their commitments. No respect for the perpetual license acquired when it was very useful for them to develop and completely disregarded today. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Essential for Global Collaboration and Remote Support"
What do you like best about TeamViewer?

TeamViewer is a platform which works like anydesk. It help us in sharing screens and contents with our clients and employees working all over the world. This is the platform also enable us to get access to the devices along with screens of our newly hired teams that needs training and our clients that needs support during the service booking. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about TeamViewer?

The main challenge that I faced while working on TeamViewer is that the software starts lagging when there is weak internet connection so if you want to work on it regularly then always try to access it from a strong internet availability area and go for its premium plan because free plan is has very limited features Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Ying Qin of TeamViewer

Hello Mukesh,

Thank you for taking the time to share such a detailed review. It’s clear that TeamViewer plays an important role in how your organization collaborates and supports people across different locations. Being able to share screens, guide new team members through training, and assist clients during service bookings — all from anywhere — is exactly the kind of global flexibility TeamViewer is built to provide.

Your point about performance on weak internet connections is completely understandable. Remote tools rely heavily on network stability, and your feedback underscores the importance of connection quality for a seamless experience. Noting the limitations of the free plan is also helpful input.

It’s great to hear that TeamViewer helps your team troubleshoot IT issues in remote areas and makes client demos easier thanks to its straightforward interface. That kind of accessibility and reach enables teams to stay connected and productive, no matter where they are.

We appreciate you sharing your insights and experience with TeamViewer!

Best,

Ying/TeamViewer

TeamViewer is extremely reliable for remote support and desktop access. It allows me to quickly connect to devices anywhere in the world, making troubleshooting and maintenance fast and efficient. Its cross-platform support and security features are excellent, and the interface is intuitive for both administrators and end users. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Efficient Remote Access, Simple Yet Powerful"
What do you like best about TeamViewer?

I mainly use TeamViewer to remotely access my work computer and to help others troubleshoot tech issues. What I like most is how easy it is to connect and get things done quickly. The setup is straightforward, the connection is usually stable, and it saves a lot of time compared to trying to explain technical steps over the phone. The straightforward setup means I can get connected quickly without spending time configuring complicated settings. When I need to help someone, it is usually ready in minutes, and I can connect using my work tablet, and it works great. I needed more advanced features and a more robust support solution, which is why I switched from AnyDesk to TeamViewer. Overall, it is reliable, easy to use, and offers strong remote support features. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about TeamViewer?

One area for improvement is the pricing structure. I had to purchase an additional add-on to support mobile users, which wasn't very clear upfront. The pricing tiers could be simpler and more transparent. Some important features require add-ons, which is not always clear upfront. Clearer feature breakdowns and more flexible options for smaller teams would improve the overall experience. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Teamviewer Review: Remotely Access"
What do you like best about TeamViewer?

I have been using Teamviewer now from 3-4 years. It always comes in use during the meetings with clients to share the screen and also remotely accessing their system time to time for the work. It is very easy to use and very helpful in office use. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about TeamViewer?

Only thing i not like about teamviewer is its connection sometime lags and did not provide stable connection. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Valeria Di Prisco of TeamViewer

Hello Khushis,

Thank you for your review and for sharing your experience with us.

Regarding your comment about the connection issues, we suggest ensuring that both sides have the latest version of TeamViewer available on our website.

If this is the case, a resetting of the devices and, if it´s possible, resetting also the WiFi, could solve the issue.

Likewise, we would like to invite you to click on the following link, where you will find a user´s guide to make your journey in TeamViewer easier https://www.teamviewer.com/en/global/support/knowledge-base/teamviewer-remote/

"Reliable Remote Access and Support for IT Teams and Businesses"
What do you like best about TeamViewer?

I like TeamViewer's reliability and ease of use as it allows for quick setup and stable connections. Its strong security and cross-platform support make remote support and administration efficient. I also appreciate its fast connection setup and reliable performance on low bandwidth, which is great for IT support and remote operations. TeamViewer's unattended access, session recording, and simple device management are very practical, and the initial setup is simple, requiring minimal configuration for basic remote access. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about TeamViewer?

TeamViewer can be expensive at scale, license detection can be aggressive, and performance may drop on unstable networks. More transparent pricing and lighter clients would improve the experience. Pricing scales quickly as teams grow, and license detection can flag legitimate use as commercial, causing unexpected blocks. Clearer usage thresholds, fairer mid-tier plans, and less aggressive detection logic would make it more predictable and business-friendly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
