  ### 1. Super Easy UI and Dashboard That Streamlines Deployments

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Retail | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 16, 2026

**What do you like best about TeamViewer?**

Super easy to use and it has a nice dashboard + UI/EX. It is nice to push scripts and automations with it which helps us save lots of time/cost for deployment

**What do you dislike about TeamViewer?**

The price is a concern. Also, I sometimes get blocked by UAC on our store PCs, which prevents me from completing automations/scripts or other admin activities.

**What problems is TeamViewer solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Remote desktop management that makes it easy to push scripts and automations for mass deployment.

  ### 2. Robust tool, but the price of the licenses has become difficult to justify

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Francisco C. | Dirección Técnica e Innovación - Fundador y copropietario, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 09, 2026

**What do you like best about TeamViewer?**

It is a recognized tool for remote control of equipment, stable and robust.

**What do you dislike about TeamViewer?**

Perhaps the price. Sponsorships for major Premier League clubs are expensive, and a few years ago the price increase in Temaviewer licenses was very high... If it weren't for this, we would still be using it.

**What problems is TeamViewer solving and how is that benefiting you?**

My company is dedicated to IT Support, so without an easy-to-use and robust remote connection tool, we couldn't work.

**Official Response from Ying Qin:**

> Hello Francisco,
Thank you for your honest and thoughtful review on G2. It’s great to know that TeamViewer’s stability and robustness have made it an essential tool for your IT support work. Reliable remote access is critical, and we’re glad we can support that.
We also understand your concerns around licensing costs. Pricing is an important and sensitive topic, and feedback like yours is valuable in helping us assess how our offerings align with customer expectations. We truly appreciate you highlighting both the strengths and the challenges from your perspective.
Thank you for sharing your experience with us.
Best,

**What do you like best about TeamViewer?**

++ Access to customer devices
++ less on-site service required, cost savings for customers

**Official Response from Ying Qin:**

  ### 11. Allows me to connect to remote computers and do what I need to do without hassle.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Research

**Reviewed Date:** June 15, 2026

**What do you like best about TeamViewer?**

The GUI interface and different options to setup on various platforms.

**What do you dislike about TeamViewer?**

The computer name and step to name the computer with the particular TeamViewer installation label, does not always reflect the changes in the management GUI. So I always end up having to lookup or refer to each connection by its original Window's generated system name.

**What problems is TeamViewer solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Allowing me to connect to remote full windows installations, Single Board Computers, and servers from my main devices.

**Official Response from Ying Qin:**

> Hi TeamViewer user,
Thank you for your detailed feedback. We’re glad to hear TeamViewer helps you connect seamlessly across a wide range of devices and platforms. It’s great to know the interface and setup flexibility are working well for you.
We also appreciate you highlight the issue with device naming not always syncing correctly in the Management Console. We understand how important clear and consistent device identification is, especially when managing multiple endpoints, and how this can impact efficiency.
Your feedback is valuable, and we’ve shared it with our team. In the meantime, if you’d like to exchange best practices or stay updated on improvements, we invite you to join our Community at https://community.teamviewer.com.

  ### 13. Secure Remote Access with Built-In Chat and File Drop

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Oil & Energy | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 25, 2026

**What do you like best about TeamViewer?**

It provides a secure connection to users over any network without needing to use a VPN of any kind. It also includes a chat feature and a file-drop function, which makes it easy to interact with the user.

**What do you dislike about TeamViewer?**

There’s a lack of access to user folders and files. It would be much easier to manage and support corporate computers if I could do the necessary work without having to interact with the end user or interrupt their normal work routine.

**What problems is TeamViewer solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps provide proper IT support for end users.

**Official Response from Valeria Di Prisco:**

> Hello TeamViewer user,

Thanks so much for sharing your experience with TeamViewer!

  ### 14. TeamViewer simplified our global support

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Joan R. | Remote Real Estate IT Technician, Real Estate, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 23, 2025

**What do you like best about TeamViewer?**

I am also very grateful to the fact that TeamViewer enables us to easily connect to the machines of the client and receive instant feedback and transfer files without having to make them technically inclined. It is also incredibly handy in troubleshooting rendering problems with our render farm nodes in a hurry using my workstation and, consequently, saving us a lot of time. The convenience of being able to connect without being encumbered with sophisticated VPN configurations is a great advantage to our dynamic working process.

**What do you dislike about TeamViewer?**

It is at times like walking through a maze to find the precise environment where one would want to unattended access. It is also mostly stable, although there were some lags spikes when transferring large files that can be somewhat annoying when you have a deadline to meet. It is also a little restrictive to the licensing as a growing team requires simultaneous connections.

**What problems is TeamViewer solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We may be required to make some slight modifications or discuss design decisions on their computers or make a fast visit to the machine of a client project. Before we started using TeamViewer, this was either arranging long face to face meetings or resorting to a confusing screen sharing software. We can now solve problems and work together, and turn projects around in a drastically faster manner and enhance client satisfaction.

**Official Response from Valeria Di Prisco:**

> Hello Joan,

Thank you for your rating and for taking the time to share your experience with us!

We deeply appreciate your words. It’s great to see how technology can simplify processes and save valuable time.

Regarding your comment about the lag when transferring large files, we recommend first ensuring that both devices are running the latest version of TeamViewer, which can be downloaded from our official website.

If the software is up to date, restarting both devices and, if possible, rebooting the WiFi router may help resolve the issue.

Likewise, to help you get started more smoothly with TeamViewer, we invite you to visit the following link, where you’ll find a helpful user guide designed to make your experience easier.

  ### 15. Remote help

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Apparel & Fashion

**Reviewed Date:** May 08, 2026

**What do you like best about TeamViewer?**

The ability to automate processes and connect remotely regardless of the distance.

**What do you dislike about TeamViewer?**

That there are times it does not detect the devices.

**What problems is TeamViewer solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Being able to transfer files more efficiently or being able to show a process remotely by accessing the screen of the person who needs help is what benefits a lot.

**Official Response from Valeria Di Prisco:**

> Hello TeamViewer user,

Thank you for sharing your experience.

It is great to hear that TeamViewer helps you automate processes, connect remotely regardless of distance, transfer files efficiently, and support others through screen sharing. These are important advantages for remote collaboration.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer & Network Security

**Reviewed Date:** May 10, 2026

**What do you like best about TeamViewer?**

Always works. Never let's us down when time is of essence and clients need quick support.

**What do you dislike about TeamViewer?**

Nothing to dislike yet, but short videos (under 3 minutes) to cover new features (how to use them, not advertise them) would be great.

**What problems is TeamViewer solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Currently, remote support is our main use. We also transfer files occasionally.

**Official Response from Ying Qin:**

> Hi there,
Thanks for your review and for using TeamViewer for almost 15 years. We are glad to hear it consistently supports your remote support and file transfer needs when time matters most. Your idea about short, non-promotional videos explaining new features is valuable feedback and helps us understand how learning formats could be improved. We appreciate you taking the time to share this with us.
Best,

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Manufacturing | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 10, 2026

**What do you like best about TeamViewer?**

It’s easy to use, offers solid management tools with reliable policy enforcement, and supports a wide range of compatibility.

**What do you dislike about TeamViewer?**

I don’t see a way to override all device names so they match their actual hostnames, especially after someone has manually edited the names of certain devices.

This is an excellent remote support tool for our users, and it’s especially useful when we need secure, unattended access.

The setup is very easy with just ID and password to start off with. Very useful for small teams like ours

**What do you dislike about TeamViewer?**

The pricing is quite steep for a small businesses. The features are useful but having variable pricing for very semi-regular use is a bit much

**What problems is TeamViewer solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It solves the problem of helping my team members in other cities, sometimes with IT issues, sometimes with using other software etc.

**Official Response from Ying Qin:**

> Hi TeamViewer user,

  ### 24. Expensive with Unused Features, Switched to Cost-Effective Alternative

**Rating:** 1.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Franz H. | Owner - IT Consultant, Information Technology and Services, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 09, 2026

**What do you like best about TeamViewer?**

TeamViewer got the job done as a tool. I use it for remote access to customers, which is vital since it allows our technicians to work from home instead of driving to various customer locations across the country.

**What do you dislike about TeamViewer?**

The extra charges for features I don't need were frustrating. Their license model changed, and they increased the price every year without adding anything new to the features that matter to me. It just got more expensive over the years. Glad I was able to replace it.

**What problems is TeamViewer solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use TeamViewer for remote access so our technicians can work from home, avoiding the need to drive to customers all over the country.

**Official Response from Valeria Di Prisco:**

> Hello Franz,

Thank you so much for sharing your experience.

We’re truly pleased to know that TeamViewer enabled your technicians to work efficiently from home, minimizing long trips and supporting fast, reliable service for your customers through quick remote troubleshooting, reduced travel time, strong security standards, and consistent connectivity.

We’re also truly sorry to hear about your frustration with the licensing model and pricing changes. Your feedback is incredibly valuable, and we will make sure it reaches the right team.

All the best!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Naved S. | System Admin, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 11, 2025

**What do you like best about TeamViewer?**

TeamViewer provides a seamless and secure way to remotely access and troubleshoot systems from anywhere.

**What do you dislike about TeamViewer?**

Occasionally, the connection can lag during large file transfers or when network stability is low. The licensing structure can also be a bit expensive for small teams or occasional users. Additionally, automatic updates sometimes interrupt ongoing sessions and require reinstallation or reconfiguration.

**What problems is TeamViewer solving and how is that benefiting you?**

TeamViewer helps us provide seamless remote IT support and system maintenance across multiple locations.
It allows quick troubleshooting, software installation, and system configuration without needing physical access to devices. This has significantly reduced downtime, improved response time, and increased overall productivity. The secure remote access also helps in managing offsite users and resolving technical issues efficiently.

**Official Response from Valeria Di Prisco:**

> Hello Naved,

Thank you so much for your positive review.

It’s great to read how TeamViewer is helping your IT team deliver fast and secure support without needing physical access to devices, reducing downtime, improving response time, and increasing your team productivity.

However, when dealing with connection issues, we suggest ensuring that both sides have the latest version of TeamViewer available in our website.

If this is the case, resetting the devices and, if possible, resetting the WiFi, could solve the issue.

Wishing you all the best,

  ### 38. A great collaboration and remote access tool since 2016.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Abhishek K. | PR and Featured Content Curator, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 25, 2025

**What do you like best about TeamViewer?**

I like the simple UI that doesn't overburden me with a ton of options or suggested content. I use it to remotely control my PC which is the primary access for personal documents or checking up on some active tasks. I also use it to share screen with my fellow writers some times when they have hiccups in their workflow. As a long-time use of TeamViewer, the experience has gotten better for sure.

**What do you dislike about TeamViewer?**

I don't like that the app needs an account to work. Simple connections used to be a thing with TeamViewer but now it's account centric. AnyDesk doesn't force me to create one which is good but still it's laggard which is why I continue to use TeamViewer. Simple connections should be a priority.

**What problems is TeamViewer solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It's a great screen sharing and a great collaboration tool as well. I can join any of my writers in their brainstorming session and help them fix their mistakes. Remotely accessing my Windows PC is also seamless with TeamViewer since Remote Desktop (Microsoft) is unavailable on Home editions. I can transfer files that I have on my PC and the connected hard disks anytime. It offers unfettered access from my mobile app whenever I'm away from my desk and need to resolve an issue quickly. I don't need to struggle with typing or cursor movement as the mobile app has everything my workflow needs.

**Official Response from Valeria Di Prisco:**

> Hi Abhishek,

Thank you for your review and for sharing your experience with us..

Regarding your account comment, we now require everyone actively using TeamViewer to have a validated TeamViewer account to increase the security of users in our network

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Non-Profit Organization Management | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 19, 2023

**What do you like best about TeamViewer?**

Whilst still an easy to use tool for remote access and unattended management, the tool is now starting to show it's age and isn't keeping up with useful new features

**What do you dislike about TeamViewer?**

Admin management of everything is rather clunky. Automatic renewals come without warning, have been trapped into renewal cycles that were no longer needed.

**What problems is TeamViewer solving and how is that benefiting you?**

  ### 43. Reliable comfortable Solution for Maintenance and Support

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Christian A. | IT System Administrator, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 09, 2025

**What do you like best about TeamViewer?**

First, it seems to be all about security.
Simple access without need for passwords, a great management console, reliability even with poor network conditions, multi monitor, cross operating systems, there's no wish left - and patch management is truly awesome.
It's a great automation hardly ever requiring manual intervention, configurable in a granular way, and even on small SSDs, it doesn't claim a huge package cache to hold outdated software versions.
It's just my favourite support, maintenance, monitoring and patch management solution for more than 15 years now.

**What do you dislike about TeamViewer?**

There's no caveat.
One could just discuss the cons of not forcing users to get their stuff done without help and then there are these flawed concepts of "work" and "alarm clock" and "limited salary", but that's not genuinely linked to TeamViewer.

**What problems is TeamViewer solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It improves efficiency both concerning amount of time and quality of service when it comes to quick support interventions, monitoring system health and maintenance and patch management.
It saves employee costs in a great manner in system administration, system availability and user needs.

**Official Response from Valeria Di Prisco:**

> Hello Christian,

Thank you for your positive review and for sharing such a detailed experience.

We are happy that you chose us as your favorite remote access solution. It's great to read that our features regarding security, automation, and reliability continue to meet your expectations.
