## TeamViewer Reviews
  ### 1. Timely Remote Support That Keeps Our Work Running Smoothly

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Hisayoshi G. | Head of Aisa customer value organization, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 10, 2026

**What do you like best about TeamViewer?**

We work remotely, and our IT team is located overseas. So whenever I have any issues or challenges with PC/software settings, they support me remotely in a very timely manner, which helps my daily work run very smoothly.

**What do you dislike about TeamViewer?**

I don’t have much to say overall, but sometimes I can’t connect because of network issues. That said, I don’t think this is caused by Teamviewer.

**What problems is TeamViewer solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As I mentioned before, since I work fully remote, I have multiple things that need to be handled and I don’t have time for extra steps. TeamViewer provides very high value for me by allowing IT people to remotely control my PC, quickly investigate issues, and resolve them.

**Official Response from Valeria Di Prisco:**

> Hello Hisayoshi,

Great review, thank you!

It’s awesome to hear how much TeamViewer supports your remote workflow. One of TeamViewer's biggest strengths is exactly what you described: fast, secure, and reliable remote access that enables IT teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues in real time.

  ### 2. Streamlined Global Support with TeamViewer

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Greg F. | Senior Network Administrator, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 08, 2026

**What do you like best about TeamViewer?**

I like TeamViewer for its ease of use and vast back end capabilities. It effectively connects users to us globally and provides the UNC bypass, which is a significant advantage for us.

**What do you dislike about TeamViewer?**

Auto updating doesn't seem to work, although it's been a while since we have tried. The initial setup is a bit complicated, which I expected with the way we use and deploy it.

**What problems is TeamViewer solving and how is that benefiting you?**

TeamViewer connects users globally and provides UNC bypass. I like its ease of use and vast back end capabilities.

**Official Response from Ying Qin:**

> Hello Greg,
Thank you for taking the time to leave such a thoughtful review on G2. It’s great to hear that TeamViewer’s ease of use, backend flexibility, and global connectivity are working well for your team, and that the UNC bypass capability is a meaningful advantage in your setup.
We also value your honest feedback about auto‑updates and the complexity of the initial setup. While more advanced deployments can require extra configuration, your comments help us better understand where we can simplify and improve the overall experience. We’ll be sure to pass this feedback along to the team.
We appreciate you highlighting both what works well and where there’s room to improve. Thank you for using TeamViewer.
Best,

  ### 3. Quick Remote Access Anywhere with a Lightweight Download

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** imad M. | Technical Presales Engineer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 20, 2026

**What do you like best about TeamViewer?**

Honestly, I love it. I can just download a small package and next thing I know I can access a machine in germany

**What do you dislike about TeamViewer?**

The fact that the premium version is somewhat expensive, if I like to use it personally I can not use it much

**What problems is TeamViewer solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The problem of quickly accessing machines and working on them with a fixed credential. What I specially like is the ID remains the same for a very long time unless refreshed on purpose

**Official Response from Ying Qin:**

> Hello Imad,
TeamViewer is designed to provide fast, reliable access to devices anywhere through a lightweight download and a stable connection, and we’re glad to hear this has been working well for you. It’s especially great to know that the persistent device ID helps streamline your day‑to‑day remote access and keeps your workflow efficient.
We also understand your concerns regarding the cost of the premium version for personal use. Your perspective is important to us, and feedback like this helps inform how we continue evolving our solutions to support different users and usage scenarios. We appreciate you taking the time to share your experience.

I really like the ease of use of TeamViewer. The transparent interface makes it easy to use. Additionally, the initial installation was very simple and everything is easy to understand.

TeamViewer is the best option when no remote connection is possible. The handling is easy and the interface is transparent. The initial installation was very simple and easy to understand.

  ### 9. Fast performance and the ability to manage various devices, improvement needed in Korean translation

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** ilsun k. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 05, 2026

**What do you like best about TeamViewer?**

I like TeamViewer's fast performance and familiar user interface. I think the management features for various devices work particularly well. The initial setup was also very easy.

**What do you dislike about TeamViewer?**

The display of Korean for the function is unnatural. Some Korean translations are awkward, like Google Translate.

  ### 10. Powerful Remote Support Tool, Lightweight and Efficient

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Adam R. | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 07, 2026

**What do you like best about TeamViewer?**

I like that TeamViewer is a lightweight application. It's reasonably priced and provides all the features we need in an easy-to-use tool. It's great that it offers everything at the right price.

**What do you dislike about TeamViewer?**

I think the only thing that maybe sometimes could be a challenge is if users need support and they don't have the agent preinstalled. That's a manual process that we have to go through.

**What problems is TeamViewer solving and how is that benefiting you?**

TeamViewer supports our national workforce from anywhere globally, offering deep troubleshooting, file transfer, and quick user recovery.

**Official Response from Valeria Di Prisco:**

> Hello Adam,

Thank you for sharing your feedback and for highlighting what you value most about TeamViewer.

We’re glad to hear that the lightweight design, pricing, and feature set support your needs effectively, especially in enabling your workforce across locations.

Regarding your comment about supporting users without a preinstalled TeamViewer app, and how it can sometimes feel like an extra step.
We have a solution for these situations. You can use a session link to start a screen‑sharing session directly from the TeamViewer web interface. The end user clicks the link, and screen sharing starts in their browser, with no prior installation required. This can be especially helpful for quick, ad‑hoc support scenarios.

We hope this information will make your future connections easier.

Thanks again for taking the time to share your experience with us.

All the best,

  ### 11. Brief review of the Team Viewer Software

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Hassan A. | Relationship Manager Corporate Banking, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 07, 2025

**What do you like best about TeamViewer?**

It is one of the leading remote access support software provides a variety of features. It is easy to install and set up. It has a user-friendly interface. One of the great features of the software is that it has the ability for cross-platform connectivity. With TeamViewer, you can connect from PC to MAC or from mobile to mobile. It provides great security features like end-to-end encryption, 2FA, and brute force protection.

It makes it easy to transfer files between the devices. It also provides a built-in chat feature, which is also very good for communicating between the remote systems.

**What do you dislike about TeamViewer?**

The cost of the licensed version is on the higher side. It also faces some performance issues while using it with slower internet connections. One other disadvantage is of its high usage of CPU and RAM, which eventually slows down the system.

**What problems is TeamViewer solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps me to conenct with the remote servers/ system where I can log in and do my work remotely.

**Official Response from Valeria Di Prisco:**

> Hello Hassan,

Thank you so much for your positive review.

We´re happy to read how you enjoy the variety of features, including our security features such as end-to-end encryption, 2FA, and brute force protection.

However, when experiencing slow connections, we recommend first ensuring that both devices are running the latest version of TeamViewer, which can be downloaded from our official website.

**What do you like best about TeamViewer?**

I like the file transfer features, and the ability to manage our client's asset management more seamlessly.

**What do you dislike about TeamViewer?**

Patch management is clunky, and the copy/paste feature still does not work properly, at least in our case.

  ### 16. An excellent solution for remote management of endpoints on any connection anywhere in the world.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Matt H. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 13, 2025

**What do you like best about TeamViewer?**

Ease of access and stability of connection. It also allows two audio communication over the connection session. TeamViewer has some excellent customisable deployment methods in MSI format, we can be deployed en masse to your fleet, linking them to your corporate account for ease of management.

**What do you dislike about TeamViewer?**

Has a few quirks, especially as it related to assigning unattended access, but this does work providing you are logged onto the target computer as a local administrator.

**What problems is TeamViewer solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Remote support and management of devices. If you are needing to support a user on their computer, TeamViewer will give you a fast and reliable method to shadow their session and support them with configuration and other endpoint issues. It doesn't work for sessions, where the end user is using Microsoft Remote Desktop protocol, for TeamViewer to work, they need to be locally connected to the device. Also doesn't work for Apple mobile devices from what I understand.

**Official Response from Valeria Di Prisco:**

> Hello Matt,

Thank you for your rating and for sharing your experience with our remote control solution.

Since you mentioned you found some quirks regarding the unattended access, we take the opportunity to invite you to click on the following link, where you will find a user's guide with very interesting information:

  ### 18. Accessing my main workstation remotely changed how I work

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jerome W. | Solution Architect, Civic & Social Organization, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 12, 2025

**What do you like best about TeamViewer?**

I really like TeamViewer as it enables me to use the power of my studio workstation when I am not present in the office. It implies that I can directly edit gigantic design files on my primary computer on a light laptop in a program such as After Effects. The simple ability to move certain project resources in and out of my desktop and the computer of a client also avoids the versioning headaches that are unnecessary. It is also incredibly directive to show a new freelance editor his/her specific software setup.

**What do you dislike about TeamViewer?**

Locating some of the remote session controls, such as scaling options, is at times a treasure hunt in the interface. I also had some stable connections that went dead in the middle and this is frustrating when having a design review, which is focused. An issue that has been a persistent microaggression has been getting the exact pressure settings of my tablet to work with the remote connection.

**What problems is TeamViewer solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Before using TeamViewer, to transmit large and complex design project files to distant clients, it was common to upload giant archives with cloud services and this was always slow and versioning a nightmare. It also occurred to me that I would need to thoroughly synchronize certain fonts and software versions to my laptop in case of working at home. My work space anywhere now is pretty much my studio computer on steroids. This will imply that clients can physically track my lead on their screen, or I can directly enter the special project folder arrangement of the client. It has streamlined our group work procedure to a lot more fluid and less technical meltdown.

**Official Response from Valeria Di Prisco:**

> Hello Jerome,

Thank you so much for sharing your detailed experience with us.

However, we are sorry to hear that you had difficulty finding features in our new interface.

Therefore, we would like to invite you to click on the following link where you will find a guide for the new UI in order to make your journey in TeamViewer easier https://www.teamviewer.com/en/global/support/knowledge-base/teamviewer-remote/

Likewise, when experiencing connection issues, we recommend first ensuring that both devices are running the latest version of TeamViewer, which can be downloaded from our official website.

Also, restarting both devices and, if possible, rebooting the WiFi router may help resolve the issue.

All the best!

It is a recognized tool for remote control of equipment, stable and robust.

  ### 35. Allows me to connect to remote computers and do what I need to do without hassle.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Research

**Reviewed Date:** June 15, 2026

**What do you like best about TeamViewer?**

The GUI interface and different options to setup on various platforms.

**What do you dislike about TeamViewer?**

The computer name and step to name the computer with the particular TeamViewer installation label, does not always reflect the changes in the management GUI. So I always end up having to lookup or refer to each connection by its original Window's generated system name.

**What problems is TeamViewer solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Allowing me to connect to remote full windows installations, Single Board Computers, and servers from my main devices.

**Official Response from Ying Qin:**

  ### 37. Secure Remote Access with Built-In Chat and File Drop

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Oil & Energy | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 25, 2026

**What do you like best about TeamViewer?**

It provides a secure connection to users over any network without needing to use a VPN of any kind. It also includes a chat feature and a file-drop function, which makes it easy to interact with the user.

**What do you dislike about TeamViewer?**

There’s a lack of access to user folders and files. It would be much easier to manage and support corporate computers if I could do the necessary work without having to interact with the end user or interrupt their normal work routine.

**What problems is TeamViewer solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps provide proper IT support for end users.

**Official Response from Valeria Di Prisco:**

  ### 38. TeamViewer simplified our global support

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Joan R. | Remote Real Estate IT Technician, Real Estate, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 23, 2025

**What do you like best about TeamViewer?**

I am also very grateful to the fact that TeamViewer enables us to easily connect to the machines of the client and receive instant feedback and transfer files without having to make them technically inclined. It is also incredibly handy in troubleshooting rendering problems with our render farm nodes in a hurry using my workstation and, consequently, saving us a lot of time. The convenience of being able to connect without being encumbered with sophisticated VPN configurations is a great advantage to our dynamic working process.

**What do you dislike about TeamViewer?**

It is at times like walking through a maze to find the precise environment where one would want to unattended access. It is also mostly stable, although there were some lags spikes when transferring large files that can be somewhat annoying when you have a deadline to meet. It is also a little restrictive to the licensing as a growing team requires simultaneous connections.

**What problems is TeamViewer solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We may be required to make some slight modifications or discuss design decisions on their computers or make a fast visit to the machine of a client project. Before we started using TeamViewer, this was either arranging long face to face meetings or resorting to a confusing screen sharing software. We can now solve problems and work together, and turn projects around in a drastically faster manner and enhance client satisfaction.

**Official Response from Valeria Di Prisco:**

> Hello Joan,

Thank you for your rating and for taking the time to share your experience with us!

We deeply appreciate your words. It’s great to see how technology can simplify processes and save valuable time.

Regarding your comment about the lag when transferring large files, we recommend first ensuring that both devices are running the latest version of TeamViewer, which can be downloaded from our official website.

If the software is up to date, restarting both devices and, if possible, rebooting the WiFi router may help resolve the issue.

Likewise, to help you get started more smoothly with TeamViewer, we invite you to visit the following link, where you’ll find a helpful user guide designed to make your experience easier.

Currently, remote support is our main use. We also transfer files occasionally.

**Official Response from Ying Qin:**

> Hi there,
Thanks for your review and for using TeamViewer for almost 15 years. We are glad to hear it consistently supports your remote support and file transfer needs when time matters most. **What do you like best about TeamViewer?**

It’s easy to use, offers solid management tools with reliable policy enforcement, and supports a wide range of compatibility.

**What do you like best about TeamViewer?**

One of the best softwares for screen sharing. It was once the only solution available which was used widely then and even in present I like it very much

**What do you dislike about TeamViewer?**

Free version does not give even some basic features which are available for free on alternate sofwares.

**What problems is TeamViewer solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The best use case of team viewer is always the screen sharing, files support and remote services for hardwares. It saves time, money and efforts and solves the problem online.

**Official Response from Ying Qin:**

  ### 48. Expensive with Unused Features, Switched to Cost-Effective Alternative

**Rating:** 1.0/5.0 stars

**What do you like best about TeamViewer?**

TeamViewer got the job done as a tool. I use it for remote access to customers, which is vital since it allows our technicians to work from home instead of driving to various customer locations across the country.

**What do you dislike about TeamViewer?**

The extra charges for features I don't need were frustrating. Their license model changed, and they increased the price every year without adding anything new to the features that matter to me. It just got more expensive over the years. Glad I was able to replace it.

**What problems is TeamViewer solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use TeamViewer for remote access so our technicians can work from home, avoiding the need to drive to customers all over the country.

**Official Response from Valeria Di Prisco:**

> Hello Franz,

Thank you so much for sharing your experience.

We’re truly pleased to know that TeamViewer enabled your technicians to work efficiently from home, minimizing long trips and supporting fast, reliable service for your customers through quick remote troubleshooting, reduced travel time, strong security standards, and consistent connectivity.

We’re also truly sorry to hear about your frustration with the licensing model and pricing changes. Your feedback is incredibly valuable, and we will make sure it reaches the right team.

All the best!

**What do you like best about TeamViewer?**

It offers remote desktop connectivity, without too much lag. I can still troubleshoot issues remotely when I need to.

**What do you dislike about TeamViewer?**

Occasional unavailability and licensing costs.

**What problems is TeamViewer solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps our team troubleshoot remote desktop issues more easily. Being able to chat during the session also improves communication and makes it simpler to resolve issues as they come up.

**Official Response from Valeria Di Prisco:**

> Hello Navneeraj,

Thank you for your positive review!

We’re glad to hear that TeamViewer’s low‑lag remote desktop and in‑session chat help your team troubleshoot issues quickly and collaborate effectively.

We also appreciate your honesty about availability and licensing. Your input helps us continue improving.

  ### 50. Easy Remote Troubleshooting, But Licensing Feels Too Expensive

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Pablo M. | administrador de sistemas, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 29, 2026

**What do you like best about TeamViewer?**

It’s easy to connect to other PCs to troubleshoot issues or install software. Even file transfers for large files work fine.

**What do you dislike about TeamViewer?**

License prices are too high. For a single-user or business license, it doesn’t become profitable.

**What problems is TeamViewer solving and how is that benefiting you?**

A quick option for connecting to other computers.

**Official Response from Valeria Di Prisco:**

> Hello Pablo,

Thank you for your feedback.

We really appreciate you taking the time to share your experience on G2!

It’s great to hear that you’re finding TeamViewer easy to use for connecting to other PCs, whether it’s for troubleshooting, installing software, or transferring large files. Reliability and simplicity are key, so it’s encouraging to know those features are working well for you and helping you stay efficient.

We also understand your concerns around licensing costs. Pricing is an important factor, especially for individual users or smaller teams, and we’re continuously working to ensure that our plans deliver strong value across different use cases. Your feedback is valuable and helps us improve how we tailor our offerings moving forward.

All the best,

Valeria/TeamViewer
