## TeamViewer Reviews
  ### 1. Robust—When It Works

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jake K.

**Reviewed Date:** August 04, 2026

**What do you like best about TeamViewer?**

TeamViewer provides powerful capabilities and intuitive control. I enjoy the file management interface in the agent's client that allows us to copy in and delete technician-use-only files. I also appreciate how easy it is to guide users to download and launch the Quick Support client.

**What do you dislike about TeamViewer?**

Teamviewer tends to be a bit fragile. Often times, my team will receive errors while attempting to connect to a customer's client that can only be resolved by restarting the agent's TeamViewer client. Inevitably, their client has updated in the background and will not function until manually relaunched in this way. I also have given up on using it as a Remote Desktop. I have not been able to successfully configure access to managed devices with either a dedicated password or 2FA. This is unfortunate because it was my go-to recommendation to customers that need to operate our software remotely (Windows RDP is not feature-rich enough to support all functions of our software). It seems like the latest major update has shifted away from our use case.

**What problems is TeamViewer solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We work with end users that have a wide variation in computer literacy. TeamViewer is most often accessible enough that we can guide them to grant us access to solve problems that would be insurmountable over phone or email support alone.

**Official Response from Ying Qin:**

> Hi Jake,

Thank you for sharing your experience with TeamViewer.

We're pleased to hear that TeamViewer's remote support capabilities and experience have helped your team effectively assist users with different levels of computer literacy. Knowing that TeamViewer helps bridge the gap between phone support and hands-on troubleshooting is especially rewarding for us.

At the same time, we understand your concerns regarding connection stability and unattended access configuration. Feedback like yours is important because it helps us better understand where improvements can have the greatest impact for users in real-world support environments.

Should you run into any challenges in the future, we invite you to visit the TeamViewer Community at https://community.teamviewer.com/, where you can find troubleshooting resources, product information, and support from both TeamViewer experts and fellow users.

We appreciate your continued trust in TeamViewer and thank you for helping us improve.

Best,

  ### 2. Very useful, but the latest version of the interface is a failure

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Libraries | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 29, 2026

**What do you like best about TeamViewer?**

I use Teamviewer daily for technical support. It's very convenient because it allows remote control autonomously (without intervention from the remote user) with Teamviewer Host. It allows you to put remote devices into groups, which is very practical when you have a large number of stations to manage.

**What do you dislike about TeamViewer?**

The update of the interface was a major disaster. Previously, the search was user-friendly and worked well. Now it has major bugs that make its use difficult. The two main ones are:
- The search is now sensitive to accents
- The text typed in the search window is replaced by the full name of the machine. It is thus impossible to use the same search twice in a row.

**What problems is TeamViewer solving and how is that benefiting you?**

He helps us provide technical support to our internal collaborators and our SaaS clients. He also allows intervention on servers for routine maintenance tasks.

**Official Response from Ying Qin:**

> Hi TeamViewer user,
Thank you for taking the time to leave such detailed feedback. It's great to hear that TeamViewer continues to support your daily technical support activities and that features like unattended access and device grouping bring value to your work.
We're sorry to hear that the recent interface changes, particularly the search experience, have been frustrating. We understand how important efficient search capabilities are when managing a large number of devices, and we appreciate the specific examples you've provided.
Thank you for helping us improve the product.
Best,
Ying/TeamViewer

  ### 3. Great for Remote Access, Needs Better Audio Functionality

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Angus S. | Solutions Consultant, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 28, 2026

**What do you like best about TeamViewer?**

I like the ease of connectivity and screen sharing with TeamViewer. The connection delay is almost nonexistent, which is great. I also find it really helpful that I can presave my mobile device's connection details on my desktop. This feature saves me from having to waste time entering numbers and codes during meetings or presentations. The initial setup was very easy too, with a simple download, installation, and signing in with my login credentials.

**What do you dislike about TeamViewer?**

Audio and microphone sharing is poor. You used to be able to chat and talk through it when connecting to other people's PCs. For some reason, that performance seems to be poor quality or doesn't exist sometimes.

**What problems is TeamViewer solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use TeamViewer for remote connections to customer PCs and my mobile device. It solves controlling my mobile phone during meetings, and ease of connectivity and screen sharing saves time by presaving connection details.

**Official Response from Valeria Di Prisco:**

> Hello Angus,

Thank you so much for your review and for sharing your experience.

We’re pleased to hear that TeamViewer’s fast connectivity, seamless screen sharing, and the ability to pre‑save device details help you save time and run meetings more efficiently. It’s also great to know that the setup process was quick and straightforward.

We appreciate your honest input regarding audio and microphone sharing. Your feedback has been noted and helps us continue improving communication performance across devices and use cases.

Thank you again for taking the time to leave a review.

Best,

Valeria/TeamViewer

  ### 4. It does its thing, but constantly changes the design and sometimes requires restarts.

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Program Development | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 29, 2026

**What do you like best about TeamViewer?**

In principle, it is very simple and therefore pleasant to control.

**What do you dislike about TeamViewer?**

We also use our phone through the computer, which is why TeamViewer first turns down the phone volume when connecting to a client or a colleague;
That it constantly changes its design;
That it often freezes in the contact selection when choosing whom to connect to and requires a complete restart, ending the task.

**What problems is TeamViewer solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use TeamViewer to connect to the clients and understand the problems there. I benefit from this by being able to follow the problem live and see how the client interacts with the software.

**Official Response from Ying Qin:**

> Hello There,
Thank you for taking the time to leave detailed feedback. It's great to hear that TeamViewer helps you work closely with clients and makes remote support easy to manage.
At the same time, we're sorry to hear about the challenges you've experienced with interface changes, audio behaviour during connections, and application freezes. We understand that consistency and reliability are essential when supporting customers, and we appreciate you highlighting these areas.
Thank you for sharing your perspective. Feedback from experienced users like you helps us continue improving the experience for everyone.
Best,
Ying/TeamViewer

  ### 5. Good product, but it's a shame that customer requests are never taken into account.

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Program Development | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 29, 2026

**What do you like best about TeamViewer?**

The remote control is very intuitive for the support user.

**What do you dislike about TeamViewer?**

The handling notifications (host side) are not visible. The messaging system has many visual defects and notifications are not seen. The Meeting function is heavily degraded and difficult to access, especially for scheduling meetings (reported for years but never addressed).

**What problems is TeamViewer solving and how is that benefiting you?**

- work in a team remotely with my colleagues
- provide technical support within my company
- provide support for our software at our clients' locations

**Official Response from Ying Qin:**

> Hello TeamViewer user,

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We're pleased to hear that TeamViewer's intuitive remote access capabilities continue to support your team collaboration, internal support, and customer assistance workflows.

  ### 6. Updated TeamViewer Review from Drew

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Drew B. | M365 Practice Director, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 28, 2023

**What do you like best about TeamViewer?**

Our company enjoys the complete remote control access, unattended access, file transfer capabilities, Wake on LAN, and the fact that it works on all platforms.

**What do you dislike about TeamViewer?**

There can be latench issues if the network is saturated, which can cause connection drops. It is also fairly expensive compared to other tools, they are very strict about their licensing, and there have been security issues in the past.

**What problems is TeamViewer solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It allows to remotely control endpoints, provide IT support, assist and collab in real time, and saves us the time and effort of an onsite visit for a minor issue.

**Official Response from Ying Qin:**

> Hello Drew,
Thank you for sharing the feedback on using TeamViewer! We are sorry to hear about the poor experience with TeamViewer.
kindly check one of the settings on TeamViewer for Copy and Paste please:
TeamViewer -> Extras -> Options -> Advanced -> Advanced settings for connections to other computers -> Clipboard synchronization, and tick for activation and untick this option for deactivating the function.
At the same time, we would like to invite you to join TeamViewer Community at https://community.teamviewer.com for troubleshooting questions. Hope to see you there!
Best,

  ### 7. SimpleSimple and Reliable Remote Access to Connect, but the Free Version Feels Restrictive

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Satyajeet R. | Senior Operations Executive, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 03, 2026

**What do you like best about TeamViewer?**

What I like best about TeamViewer is its simplicity—you can connect to another computer quickly without any complicated setup.

**What do you dislike about TeamViewer?**

What people often dislike about TeamViewer is that the free version can feel restrictive—especially with session limits and commercial-use warnings.

**What problems is TeamViewer solving and how is that benefiting you?**

TeamViewer solves the problem of accessing and controlling devices remotely without being physically present.
This benefits me by saving time, making it easy to provide support or fix issues instantly, and allowing work from anywhere without needing direct access to the system.

**Official Response from Valeria Di Prisco:**

> Hello Satyajeet,

Thank you for sharing your feedback on TeamViewer! We’re glad to hear that you value its simplicity and quick setup, its easy connection to another device, which helps you save time, its instant support, and its ability to work from anywhere through reliable remote access.

  ### 8. TeamViewer user review

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Bill S. | Technologist, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 28, 2023

**What do you like best about TeamViewer?**

I like the file transfer features, and the ability to manage our client's asset management more seamlessly.

**What do you dislike about TeamViewer?**

Patch management is clunky, and the copy/paste feature still does not work properly, at least in our case.

**What problems is TeamViewer solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Giving us remote access to our client machines and make changes, remediate issues, and install stuff

**Official Response from Ying Qin:**

> Hello Bill,
Thank you for sharing the feedback on using TeamViewer! We are sorry to hear about the poor experience with TeamViewer.

kindly check one of the settings on TeamViewer for Copy and Paste please:

  ### 9. Robust tool, but the price of the licenses has become difficult to justify

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Francisco C. | Dirección Técnica e Innovación - Fundador y copropietario, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 09, 2026

**What do you like best about TeamViewer?**

It is a recognized tool for remote control of equipment, stable and robust.

**What do you dislike about TeamViewer?**

Perhaps the price. Sponsorships for major Premier League clubs are expensive, and a few years ago the price increase in Temaviewer licenses was very high... If it weren't for this, we would still be using it.

**What problems is TeamViewer solving and how is that benefiting you?**

My company is dedicated to IT Support, so without an easy-to-use and robust remote connection tool, we couldn't work.

**Official Response from Ying Qin:**

> Hello Francisco,
Thank you for your honest and thoughtful review on G2. It’s great to know that TeamViewer’s stability and robustness have made it an essential tool for your IT support work. Reliable remote access is critical, and we’re glad we can support that.
We also understand your concerns around licensing costs. Pricing is an important and sensitive topic, and feedback like yours is valuable in helping us assess how our offerings align with customer expectations. We truly appreciate you highlighting both the strengths and the challenges from your perspective.
Thank you for sharing your experience with us.
Best,
Ying/TeamViewer

  ### 10. Easy Remote Troubleshooting, But Licensing Feels Too Expensive

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Pablo M. | administrador de sistemas, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 29, 2026

**What do you like best about TeamViewer?**

It’s easy to connect to other PCs to troubleshoot issues or install software. Even file transfers for large files work fine.

**What do you dislike about TeamViewer?**

License prices are too high. For a single-user or business license, it doesn’t become profitable.

**What problems is TeamViewer solving and how is that benefiting you?**

A quick option for connecting to other computers.

**Official Response from Valeria Di Prisco:**

> Hello Pablo,

Thank you for your feedback.

We really appreciate you taking the time to share your experience on G2!

It’s great to hear that you’re finding TeamViewer easy to use for connecting to other PCs, whether it’s for troubleshooting, installing software, or transferring large files. Reliability and simplicity are key, so it’s encouraging to know those features are working well for you and helping you stay efficient.

We also understand your concerns around licensing costs. Pricing is an important factor, especially for individual users or smaller teams, and we’re continuously working to ensure that our plans deliver strong value across different use cases. Your feedback is valuable and helps us improve how we tailor our offerings moving forward.

All the best,

Valeria/TeamViewer

  ### 12. Standard remote access tool

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Non-Profit Organization Management | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 19, 2023

**What do you like best about TeamViewer?**

Whilst still an easy to use tool for remote access and unattended management, the tool is now starting to show it's age and isn't keeping up with useful new features

**What do you dislike about TeamViewer?**

Admin management of everything is rather clunky. Automatic renewals come without warning, have been trapped into renewal cycles that were no longer needed.

**What problems is TeamViewer solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Allows us to remotely administer old machines which live off our main network but have internet access

**Official Response from Ying Qin:**

> Hi TeamViewer user,
Thank you for choosing TeamViewer for your remote access solution! We would like to invite you to join TeamViewer Community https://community.teamviewer.com if you have any troubleshooting questions. We hope you enjoy using TeamViewer all the time! Hope to see you there in the TeamViewer Community!

  ### 13. Effortless Remote Access and Desktop Assistance

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Madhura J. | Service Desk Administrator, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 20, 2026

**What do you like best about TeamViewer?**

It allows you to take remote access for users and assist on remote desktop

**What do you dislike about TeamViewer?**

The application lags sometimes which creates delay in assistance

**What problems is TeamViewer solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It allows us to take remote access of another user and operate it from your own desktop.

**Official Response from Valeria Di Prisco:**

> Hello Madhura,

Thank you for sharing your experience.

It is great to hear that TeamViewer helps you provide remote access to support users and operate their desktops directly. Being able to assist remotely can make daily support tasks much more efficient.

We understand that occasional lag can be disruptive during assistance. When experiencing slow connections, ensure both devices are running the latest version of TeamViewer. If everything is up to date, restarting both devices and, if possible, rebooting the WiFi router may also improve performance.

We appreciate your balanced feedback and are glad TeamViewer supports your remote assistance needs.

The ability to remotely share my desktop and share files with others.

**What do you dislike about TeamViewer?**

Clunky. Most times slower than it should be.

**What problems is TeamViewer solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It allows me to remotely check/fix customers computers and walk- through examples with them.

**Official Response from Valeria Di Prisco:**

> Hello TeamViewer user,

Thank you so much for sharing your honest feedback.

It’s great to hear that remote desktop sharing and easy file transfer are really helping you support your customers. Those capabilities can make a huge difference when you need to troubleshoot quickly or walk someone through a task step by step.

When experiencing slow connections, we recommend ensuring that both devices are running the latest version of TeamViewer, which can be downloaded from our official website.

If the software is up to date, restarting both devices and, if possible, rebooting the WiFi router may help resolve the issue.

We hope these tips will help you in future connections.

Best,

  ### 22. Team Viewer is a great product - with Caveats

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Scott C.

**Reviewed Date:** April 24, 2025

**What do you like best about TeamViewer?**

The team viewer Remote Support and Quick Support module is the only support tool I have found that properly implements 'Mouse Pointers' for all users in support sessions and meetings.

**What do you dislike about TeamViewer?**

* All Team Viewer products have been blacklisted by many of my client organizations as a high security risk, making it difficult to deploy and use.
* The Support Team is mediocre at best and does a poor job solving problems or just answering questions.
* The product expansion moving away from the core "Team Viewing" and bundling the remote/unattended access into a single application is problematic. And with their tainted security reputation would be hard to win some IT shops back over.

**What problems is TeamViewer solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Remote Support with "User Pointers"

**Official Response from Valeria Di Prisco:**

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ganesh G. | Senior Software Engineer, Information Technology and Services, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 28, 2025

**What do you like best about TeamViewer?**

TeamViewer has one good quality that it can work on a low network bandwidth.

**What do you dislike about TeamViewer?**

Nothing as such which can be identified as issue

**What problems is TeamViewer solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Screensharing with clients to resolve their issues during operation. In comparison with other screensharing tool like AnyView and Windows Remote Desktop, TeamViewer runs smooth and provide sufficient authentication to ensure proper security.

**What do you like best about TeamViewer?**

An RMM (Remote Monitoring and Management) tool from TeamViewer with comprehensive integrations:

1. Remote Desktop: Solid support, providing seamless remote access with low latency and reliable connection stability.
2. Patch Management: Solid
3. Antivirus: Well-integrated, featuring centralized control, real-time threat monitoring.

**What do you dislike about TeamViewer?**

An RMM (Remote Monitoring and Management) tool from TeamViewer with comprehensive integrations:

1. When I want to generate a report, problem is that I can’t select specific endpoints or groups of endpoints. It might be possible, but I don’t know how.

2. The license usage for asset management is problematic; the counter is inconsistent, especially when reinstalling Windows on an endpoint and uninstalling all services like antivirus, monitoring, and asset management. My main issue is with the asset management counter. Every time I encounter this, I have to submit a support ticket to resolve it. After doing this three times, I finally said I can’t keep submitting tickets for each endpoint. I also requested to end our agreement, but I've been waiting for almost a month and a half for this to be processed. It's highly unprofessional. If I wanted to buy something, they would probably contact me within hours, but when I want to end the agreement, that's not the case. I know that terminating the agreement has a different process, but I don’t believe it can’t be resolved within a week or so.

**What do you like best about TeamViewer?**

Its connectivity and speed to access resources.

**What do you dislike about TeamViewer?**

Your lack of information helps to see the functionality of its parts. It would be viable for the sections to have help so that I don't have to move to your tutorials, especially when it's a very basic question. It should only have a specific explanation of what each module is.

**What problems is TeamViewer solving and how is that benefiting you?**

**What do you dislike about TeamViewer?**

Support.
We have been using TeamViewer for many years. While we are very satisfied with the application itself, we are just as dissatisfied with its support. We create a ticket, but there is no response for weeks. We call the number provided on the website, but no one answers. It is truly disappointing. It is a shame that such a great application has such poor support.

  ### 29. Beginner tool and easy to use

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Oliur R. | 2nd Line IT Support Analyst, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 26, 2024

**What do you like best about TeamViewer?**

TeamViewer shines for remote access. It's user-friendly, works across devices, and offers secure connections for tasks like IT support, presentations, or even working from home. You can even set up unattended access for easy maintenance!

**What do you dislike about TeamViewer?**

Free TeamViewer lacks features and limits connections. Paid plans get pricey, and file transfer is slow. Some find it clunky, and ads for upgrades can be annoying. Security concerns have risen, and unreliable connections can disrupt workflows.

**What problems is TeamViewer solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Being able to connect to remote users with ease without having to walk through the steps of having to show users where to go to diagnose and fix problems.

  ### 30. Very stable and easy to use

It si a very simple and easy to use tool which allows us to remote into end users PC without any sort of hassle. Onboarding of a machine is very easy and does not require much and it is something that is used very frequently.

**What do you dislike about TeamViewer?**

The lack of features that it has to offer outside of teamviewer including management features for the devices.

**What problems is TeamViewer solving and how is that benefiting you?**

  ### 32. Not the product it used to be

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 12, 2023

**What do you like best about TeamViewer?**

TeamViewer was an easy tool to help end users and have unattended access to my computer at home. It was a great free product, and easy to walk family members through installing it to help them with their PC issues.

**What do you dislike about TeamViewer?**

They changed their licensing and I was constantly having issues with it giving errors. It would give messages about a user not having a license when it was on a personal computer and not a server or domain added PC. When you are a company and pay for tools that are needed to run a business and tied to revenue it is easy to pay. When you are an individual helping friends and family out for free it is not justified to pay so much for a service that you do not have an roi.

**What problems is TeamViewer solving and how is that benefiting you?**

TeamViewer is not helping me with any business needs as the cost is too high and lacks features of other paid services. TeamViewer needs to reevaluate its core user base and make a more affordable pricing tier.

**Official Response from Ying Qin:**

> Hi TeamViewer user,
Thank you for sharing your honest feedback about TeamViewer!

When I have worked with Team Viewer and Team Viewer Tensor, in general, it is simple to use and I find it sufficient. Initially, it worked according to what the company promised.

**What do you dislike about TeamViewer?**

I have occasionally experienced delays and remote connection difficulties with access, passwords, and user data for remote control during critical problem-solving moments, and this has led me to decide to change software.

**What problems is TeamViewer solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The software initially worked for connectivity and teamwork. Remote access, internal office privileged information management, personnel access collection, team management.

  ### 35. Good Video Conferencing tool

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**What do you dislike about TeamViewer?**

It sometimes delay in visual moments and sometimes audio delay. TeamViewer meeting sometimes fails in video Conferencing. We can't share large files. This software requires high speed internet connection. Mobile app does not show all the features.

**What problems is TeamViewer solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I can talk to my team remotely through video Conferencing and share the documents. Screen sharing is the good feature which we use during video Conferencing when everyone is listening.

  ### 36. Easy to use

I like it's stable connection and its ability to stand poor or average network signal. It doesn't consume much data as well and moreover has a user friendly interface.

**What do you dislike about TeamViewer?**

So far, i have liked all features and do not think i have come up with anything i do not like. I would rather say that the current features it has must be maintained and improve upon.

  ### 37. Had Perpetual Licenses & Can't Justify a Subscription

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Bill T. | IT Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 20, 2022

**What do you like best about TeamViewer?**

TeamViewer is software that enables remote management and support of devices and people. Support for multiple devices and operating systems, unattended access and quick support with monitoring, plus other features that keep being introduced, make it a comprehensive platform.

**What do you dislike about TeamViewer?**

Purchased perpetual licenses instead of a subscription. TeamViewer ended the ability to buy perpetual licenses and terminated support for any existing perpetual licenses. They presented subscriptions for a short period as compensation. When that expires, so will my use of TeamViewer.

**What problems is TeamViewer solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Occasionally, I would need remote access to a system or help an end user. However, that happens very infrequently (only 3-4 times a year), so a perpetual license made more sense than a subscription since the cost over time would be cheaper.

**Official Response from Ying Qin:**

> Hi Bill,
Thank you for taking the valuable time to review TeamViewer! We are sorry that TeamViewer has not lived up to the expectations for you!
About the decision on Sunsetting certain TeamViewer perpetual license options, TeamViewer has published the announcement on TeamViewer Community - https://community.teamviewer.com/English/discussion/109492/complimentary-teamviewer-15-access-for-legacy-versions-to-be-deprecated.
At the same time, we strongly encourage you to communicate with TeamViewer Support Team - https://www.teamviewer.com/en/customer-support/ for the complimentary offer options on your TeamViewer license.

**What do you like best about TeamViewer?**

Quick to connect, basic remote functionality and recognizable name. Easy to train people how to use it. Some reporting functions with fundamental options. Worked well on multiple platforms

**What do you dislike about TeamViewer?**

Support was horrible. Slow responses and solutions were not acceptable. Software updates cost more each version and then required painful redeployment to reps

**What problems is TeamViewer solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Used it for tech support, and it made connecting to computers across Canada easy. Easy for end users to join as well.

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** sam p. | video technician, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 19, 2022

**What do you like best about TeamViewer?**

Regardless of whether both ends of the remote session have a fast, stable internet connection, The experience is always predictable. Resolution is solid and reaction time is predictable

**What do you dislike about TeamViewer?**

Pricing. Commercial licenses are way over budget for our small agency. This made our choice to switch to AnyDesk a no-brainer. TeamViewer doesn't make you feel like you are sitting right at the remote desktop as AnyDesk does. Not as fluid even if it is more predictable

**What problems is TeamViewer solving and how is that benefiting you?**

TeamViewer helped us get our agency started, but with TeamViewer's licencing prices, we had no choice but to move to another vender. We are glad we did as AnyDesk is a more rounded solution for us while being a fraction of the price

**Official Response from Ying Qin:**

> Hello Sam,
Thanks for taking the time to review TeamViewer!
I am so sorry to hear that TeamViewer license pricing options have not lived up to your satisfaction. However, we are happy that TeamViewer does the job expectedly and delivers the remote connections as promised.

  ### 45. Not initially a great experience but getting better

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Andrey L. | Avionics Technician, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 12, 2022

**What do you like best about TeamViewer?**

Team viewer allows me to have remote access to all of my team's computers to help troubleshoot or transfer files. It offers a minimal latency connection and a clean, easy-to-understand interface. Team viewer also offers additional business solutions such as conference calling.

**What do you dislike about TeamViewer?**

We have used Team viewer in a noncommercial setting to troubleshoot and transfer files among our church staff's devices. Team viewer closely monitors the use of its users and suspected that we were attempting to use it for commercial purposes. Team viewer's enterprise plans are not ideally priced for small businesses even if we were willing to consider a paid subscription.

**Recommendations to others considering TeamViewer:**

Team Viewer's pricing structure is not scalable for all businesses. Their enterprise plans offer great solutions for multiple teams to access a large number of devices, but the overall costs is only affordable for large corporate companies. In reality, Team Viewer does not offer any better solution than any other competitors who have a free version.

**What problems is TeamViewer solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As a team lead, I was able to use Team Viewer to solve complex IT problems, install applications, and transfer files from one device to another remotely. Team viewer offered a minimal latency solution to allow me to work off-site and still be a valuable asset to my team.

**Official Response from Ying Qin:**

> Hello Andrey,
Thanks for choosing TeamViewer and sharing the great review! We are so happy to hear that you like the eye-appealing interface of TeamViewer!
In fact, TeamViewer is free for personal use, for commercial use a license is required. ### 46. TeamViewer has made setting up and conferences Video/Audio easy.

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Bilal A. | Project Coordinator, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 14, 2021

**What do you like best about TeamViewer?**

The best feature of this tool/application is that setting up meetings or video conferences is easy, plus sharing explicit or security-sensitive data is easily transferred within the application.

**What do you dislike about TeamViewer?**

The only thing that I have faced problems with while using this tool is that with lower bandwidth on internet speeds, the application response is affected and causes delays or errors.

**Recommendations to others considering TeamViewer:**

The following are my recommendations to others for using TeamViewer meeting:
Through TeamViewer meetings, you can effortlessly search, synch, and connect with your contacts.
TeamViewer has a lot of features that make the application/tool very user-friendly it allows the users to have secure video conferencing with good sound quality; it also has the ability of VoIP call, instant messaging, screen sharing makes work a lot easier. Access to this tool is very easy this is available/compatible with many different OS devices like your PC (Windows) android phones and IOS devices. The best thing for this tool is that it does not require other members to have the application installed to attend calls and conferences. TeamViewer is a cloud-based tool so there is security of information that is being transferred. TeamViewer can be used as a repository for storing data. TeamViewer meeting offers up to 300 members so high-quality video resolution for larger audience presentations/conferencing.

**What problems is TeamViewer solving and how is that benefiting you?**

With TeamViewer meets, I have been scheduling live technical working sessions between my remote engineers and me, which has helped me pick up the pace and allows us to work aligned in one environment.

  ### 47. The best but not for its price

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Architecture & Planning | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 30, 2022

**What do you like best about TeamViewer?**

It is lagged-free when it comes to remote, unlike any free remote software. It is easier to use, I've tested some free remote software that is so complicated to setup.

**What do you dislike about TeamViewer?**

The free TeamViewer has limited access to a single computer. Unlike any other free software that is unlimited use to remote a single computer, use it as long as you want.

**What problems is TeamViewer solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use it as a remote system, because my work is outside my country and I use it to remote my computer in my office from my laptop at home. I haven't tested if it has a printing option where I can print from my laptop to my printer at the office.

**Official Response from Ying Qin:**

> Hi TeamViewer user,
Thank you for sharing the positive feedback about your TeamViewer experience!
We are glad that you chose TeamViewer as the first remote access tool! TeamViewer offers remote printing, and you may find out more information in this knowledge hub article -https://community.teamviewer.com/English/kb/articles/4605-set-up-remote-printing. Also, we would like to invite you to join the TeamViewer Community (https://community.teamviewer.com/) for any troubleshooting questions and discussion! We can't wait to see you there!
Wish you a pleasant day and we hope you enjoy using TeamViewer all the time!
Best,
Ying/TeamViewer

  ### 48. Good user interface with powerful features

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Business Supplies and Equipment | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 17, 2022

**What do you like best about TeamViewer?**

The application is very simple, easy to use and pretty much everything is self explanatory. It comes in handy enough to control or track current projects hazel free.

**What do you dislike about TeamViewer?**

There are quite a few bugs that gets bumped up occasionally through the server which results in the loss of connection and the only way to back this up is to restart.

**What problems is TeamViewer solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is an easy to use interface with powerful remote options, with a quick support to desktop it's easy to navigate, it's also more flexible and can be incorporated with many devices

  ### 49. Customer success specialist

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Utkarsh P. | Customer success Manager, Information Technology and Services, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 19, 2022

**What do you like best about TeamViewer?**

Admin control during multiple person meeting, no restriction on time of meeting.

**What do you dislike about TeamViewer?**

If there are more than 6 participants, not all of them are visible on the screen at the same time when using a mobile application, but it works fine on a laptop.

**What problems is TeamViewer solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We used Zoom for a client call, which helped us connect internally.

  ### 50. Gets the job done but I prefer other options

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Phil S. | Editor, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 11, 2021

**What do you like best about TeamViewer?**

Team viewer works well for connecting to client computers for remote support and operations. I've found that TeamViewer's sign-on process is a bit simpler compared to competitors, which makes it easy to get started with less tech-savvy clients.

**What do you dislike about TeamViewer?**

TeamViewer just feels clunky and outdated compared with newer entrants to the space. For quick remote sessions I find that Chrome Remote Desktop works great and Parsec has much better latency for more in-depth tasks. Parsec especially shines above TeamViewer when it comes to keyboard shortcut support. I've found TeamViewer multi-monitor support to just not work often. Going between Mac and PC can also be challenging for more advanced tasks. Sound support in TeamViewer is also an issue for projects that need to be able to hear audio from the host computer.

**What problems is TeamViewer solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I'm able to help clients running into issues with video streaming and editing systems without needing to be on site. TeamViewer helps us solve quick issues over the phone with a client.
