More than 3,800 companies and organizations utilize the APPTEC360 EMM platform to meet the challenges that they face, when managing applications, documents, configurations and security on mobile devices and desktops. Smartphones, Tablets and Laptops, regardless of operating system (Android, iOS, macOS or Windows), are evolving into the primary and personal communications/productivity platform for companies and their employees. This advance, however, leads to new challenges in regards to management, costs and risks, that the IT’s standard management strategies and solutions can not address. Previously, we were utilizing JAMF. We enjoy that AppTec allows us to handle several clients with a single login. AppTec has grown to the point where resources are available for nearly every major app or workflow. This implies that if you want to accomplish anything, it's likely that materials have already been posted. If there aren't, assistance has been quite useful. We also completed ACE certification, which helps maintain credentials for the Apple Consultant network. We've taken the course twice (certifications expire after two years) and have been pleased with the development AppTec has made in their product both times. AppTec has many upgrades planned that will make it easier to manage our clients' Macs. They have also simplified their UI, which helps. **What do you dislike about AppTec Enterprise Mobile Manager?** While the support is wonderful, the trainers' follow-up has been sporadic. I emailed about topics we discussed throughout the session and received no answer. **What problems is AppTec Enterprise Mobile Manager solving and how is that benefiting you?** With AppTec, we can handle a big number of machines with a small team. The ability to build up procedures for several customers in one interface is quite significant. This allows us to simply transfer the work we accomplish for one customer to others. They are simplifying the updates/patching portion of their service. ### 2. Devices may occasionally lose connection to the MDM; in these cases, end users will need to interact in order to re-enroll or sync. Unable to purchase individual licenses. You are allowed to have 100 licenses for every 100 devices. You need 100 licenses if you have 70. - AppTec Passport needs to be updated, if only for end-user communication **What problems is AppTec Enterprise Mobile Manager solving and how is that benefiting you?** AppTec enables us to lock and wipe lost or stolen devices, push particular programs to specific user groups, and maintain software and operating systems up to date. New devices can be quickly deployed because they come pre-configured with the necessary software and configuration. ### 3. I can't get in because a setting was changed or a password was added that I can't modify. I am also really happy with the client service! They had to reschedule with me twice due to scheduling conflicts, and they ended up having to assist me on the holiday. He stayed on the phone with me for 1 1/2 hours to ensure I understood what I was doing and that all concerns were resolved. He was patient, clear, and explained everything I didn't know or understand, as well as answering all of my questions **What do you dislike about AppTec Enterprise Mobile Manager?** I get a little confused, but I'm in HR, not IT, so it's bound to happen. **What problems is AppTec Enterprise Mobile Manager solving and how is that benefiting you?** AppTec prevents employees from returning an iPad that I am unable to use because they have changed a password or passcode that I do not know. We no longer have to search down proof of purchase for Apple, try to schedule an appointment at the Apple shop, and make the trip to the Apple store to have our iPads reconfigured. ### 4. There are so many things to like about this platform that you'll be mad not to try it and see for yourself. AppTec without a doubt as a company have delivered that set's it apart from others. This is because while a product must be good, it also has to be backed up with world class support, an ambitious roadmap and functionality that actually solves real-world problems. Security for AppTec is one of their core strengths but wrap that up with simplicity and scaleabilty, and you've got a platform that delivers. The learning curve for someone to use it is low The price is so low that it does not make any financial sense to buy something more expensive. You'd be crazy not to try it and see for yourself. **What do you dislike about AppTec Enterprise Mobile Manager?** There is nothing to dislike about this platform.
