"Intuitive and smart - Setting up takes a while though"

What do you like best?

Once Qubit events are all set up and working, experiences are very easy to set up. Documentation is great too. Templating has really freed up time for our dev team to focus on other tasks rather than making many content changes. It's really easy to get your head around, very intuitive.

What do you dislike?

Non-technical aspects of experience creation, such custom events etc could be easier to set up.

Primary set up is really important and it hasn't gone perfect. Follow up help to get this sorted has not been great. Also we can't seem to set up unique variables for our customers and just work based from set ones.

Experience CSS area doesn't work well on a SPA environment.

Recommendations to others considering the product:

Primary set up is important, don't rush into building without getting your foundation sorted.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

A/B tests. RTM messaging and Data collection. Segmentation has allowed for the use of template based experiences taking a lot of workload from Daily content editing dev tasks. We've even added permanent features to our user journey via Qubit avoiding the need for backend team involvement. Front end all the way!

"Market leader for UX and feature testing"

What do you like best?

Ease of use and the extensible nature of the platform for more complex testing - there really is no limit to the tests that can be performed using the platform, the limit generally being our own website. The build processes behind test delivery has allowed our development team to complete feature builds that are otherwise much more difficult to integrate on our native platform.

What do you dislike?

Some platform-specific knowledge makes development of test experience somewhat challenging, especially for teams of hybrid designer-developers. However, the documentation is improving as a continual process to alleviate this issue.

Recommendations to others considering the product:

Yes, I haven't got much experience of other comparable platforms, but it's my understanding that Qubit is one of the better, full-featured options.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Testing new concepts for UX and UI hypotheses. We've realised some good levels of uplift in conversion rate and engagement through personalisation and UI experimentation, which has ultimately resulted in revenue uplift and native implementation.

What Personalization Engines solution do you use?

Thanks for letting us know!

""Good test and customization platform, not suitable as a single window""

What do you like best?

The entire Qubit team is extremely sensitive. My representatives answered the questions and quickly requested both during and after business hours. They understood our needs and prioritized them appropriately to deal with urgent and emergency matters.

Qubit's creative and UI / UX resources were very effective in providing content and combining the aspect of our existing experience without affecting our teams. They responded quickly to change requests and did everything possible to ensure that the finished product matched our shared vision.

Qubit stands out for providing ideas and knowledge that drive great tests. We did several very successful tests based on their recommendations, and when we saw unexpected results, they helped us understand the behavior we were seeing. They recognized the unique challenges of our business and focused on addressing those problems instead of providing us with emergency suggestions.

What do you dislike?

Our biggest challenge with Qubit was the integration with our existing analysis tools. Qubit offers robust solutions designed to work in concert with its test tools, but working with other solutions can be complex and sometimes frustrating.

Qubit could offer integration with our trading platform, but we could never align ourselves from a technical perspective. This may have been more of a problem with the customization built on our platform; Still, it left us with some limitations.

Qubit provides some really interesting tools that we never take advantage of during our contract. I think we would have benefited a lot by getting better calibration and training in all the tools for the customer from the beginning.

Recommendations to others considering the product:

If you do not have development resources, Qubit can solve some simple problems for you. Similarly, if you do, and are trained on the platform, the possibilities are endless.

It may not be appropriate in parts of your website with less traffic, since your results will never be important.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

The Digital Commerce team used Qubit to perform multiple split tests and targeting campaigns on our website. We use the tool to implement data-driven test initiatives and to provide customized or customized content in specific scenarios. Qubit professional services helped us overcome bandwidth limitations in the design and implementation of multiple campaigns.

"Intuitive and has given an extra level of control"

What do you like best?

Personalising the website using different segments and taken that to the next level with unique versions of the website experience for each segment.

What do you dislike?

The Visual Editor could do more and it would be better to simply edit text rather than remove and replace blocks like you would in Google Chrome Inspector.

Recommendations to others considering the product:

Being able to create difference experiences to different audiences creates a whole new level of experiencing a website. Not just that, but using Qubit to create visual tweaks saves you time and money on dev costs and allows you to tailor your site exactly how you want it.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

The travel/leisure industry is very competitive and we are looking forward to creating even more personalised experiences to ensure our guests see the breaks and locations that's best for them.

"Best Personnalisation Tool"

What do you like best?

The Qubit solution is very powerful to offer one to one customization. The data base usable in the tool is extremely exhaustive, the limit is almost solely on the creativity and innovation of Qubit users. Qubit Team member lead us in a well-defined roadmap and especially in the innovation of the new features offered by the tool. Being able to create difference experiences to different audiences creates a whole new level of experiencing a website. In addition, we have also put in place feature templates that can be live very quickly depending on business needs.

What do you dislike?

A technical skill is strongly recommended to use the different modules of the solutions. It could be considered to adapt the platform to a wider audience (eg: marketing). Certification and e-learning program could be put in place to support a wider audience on the accessibility of the tool.

Finally, a last note of attention is to be made on the implementation of this tool including tracking level which is quite heavy in terms of investment of human and temporal resources.

Recommendations to others considering the product:

Need strong technical skill but infinity opportunities

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Gain in agility with the setting in AB Test many innovative features on site. Improved ROI by customizing the route by audience segment. Always in continuous improvement with at least 3 ab live tests on site.

Above all, send the right message at the right time to the right person. Qubit helps us realize this customer promise on a daily basis.

"Flexible platform, Integral to our testing strategy provided you have the relevant data"

What do you like best?

Qubit is a platform I have worked with for roughly 5-6 years. The main highlights for me have been the flexibility of amending/improving site UX aside from the regular deployment roadmap. I have launched promotions, patch fixed and A/B tested using segmented customers based on behaviour. Qubit comes with a wealth of algorithmic add ons aside from A/B testing that may or not benefit all businesses but are certainly worth looking at.

What do you dislike?

It's less of a dislike but where Qubit shines is in it's collaboration with your own data. I would highly recommend surfacing as much data to Qubit as you can in order to maximise the potential of your tests or segments. As above, Qubit does not just focus on testing but recommendations for product, retargeting and algorithm based engagement. I will caveat this with the fact that not all of these products may suit you, but if you partner up with a CRO agency who are proficient enough, they should be able to guide you, alongside Qubit's own services.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

A/B testing is an ongoing process and one that we have seen draw big results. Our base roadmap of site developments have been geared around test performance. Our goal is to use Qubit learnings to drive value of site development alongside our major projects. This not only ensures a clear roadmap but a happy and energised business who are confident the updates are justified based on our goals.

"Great platform and service"

What do you like best?

The knowledge of the team at Qubit is exceptional. The flexibility of the platform sets it apart from others.

What do you dislike?

Configuration took longer than expected, this was mainly down to our developers not fully understanding what was required of them. This has set us back on the ability to test, but now we're getting through experiences quickly.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Increasing our conversion rate, we're able to test hypothesis, but also the flexibility is saving us money on development, within 15 minutes we can run experiences that support a business need that have been quoted at hours by our developers.

"Over 150 tests in 7 months"

What do you like best?

It's fast and relatively easy to set up Qubit experiences, we've managed to release an important test within 7 days period, including full QA.

Great platform for personalisation, product testing, marketing tests and optimisation.

We are able to create compex on boarding journeys to deliver the best experience for our new players.

Segmentation can be as targeted as you need and you can make sure the same player is not getting multiple marketing messages.

Integration with Google analytics allows to get real time data and provides an additional tracking for experiences.

Data extract allows to get target vs control breakdown and analyse performance of the experiences with own BI tools.

Mobile access to Qubit Pro comes really handy when you need to make changes outside of working hours.

Integration with the CRM engine allows to run real time CRM campaigns that were not possible without Qubit.

What do you dislike?

Not everything is customized enough for a marketing team, for example, segment build doesn't cover all the options and segments require some dev work to be build.

In terms of analysis, Qubit dashboard is sometimes misleading.

Some tools stop working from time to time, for example data extract was not available for the past 7 days, however I was given an alternative (and less user-friendly) solution.

Recommendations to others considering the product:

Make sure integration is done properly

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

On boarding

New player journeys

Personalisation - showing different content to different player groups

Product testing - testing new features on site before it gets implemented to 100% of the audience, including testing registration form

Marketing tests - AB testing

"A great product for quickly gauging the viability of new features, UX, etc."

What do you like best?

Qubit has a great team who know their product very well.

What do you dislike?

Can be difficult to test complex ideas when the code is bundled independently from the bulk of the source code and executed after page load.

Recommendations to others considering the product:

The product doesn't suit every use case but can be a powerful tool when used correctly

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

We not only use Qubit to test new features and ideas but we also use it to rapidly deploy campaigns that are running to a tight deadline.

"Testing & Personalization Tool"

What do you like best?

The ability to edit code and not just visual edit.

you will have many different options to upgrade the tool and have other functionalities as cart abandonment

What do you dislike?

You need someone with technical knowledge to use it and have all the power of the tool.

Recommendations to others considering the product:

ensure that you have someone with technical knowledge in the company to use the tool

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

we are able to fix many errors without development

"Great software for A/B testing"

What do you like best?

Qubit is utilized in the administration group to serve targeted performance, sector live visitors and test UI and UX theories. Presently, it is being utilized commonly to enhance worldwide personalisation.

What do you dislike?

Unless designers have much time to assign to producing tests in Qubit, online marketers might possibly discover easy tests restricted. I would advise having somebody in-house

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

A/B tests and analyze all of them, it is quite a helpfull software with great attention to details.

"Great Product"

What do you like best?

The product continues to get better, with new updates and services coming on-board each quarter. We like the Custom Visual builder to help us target users with specific marketing/merchandising comms.

What do you dislike?

The Visual Builder has not evolved since we launched with Qubit 3 years ago. There limited support for mobile view builder and the preview is restricted by the settings.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Improved CRO and personalisation

"Develop A-B Testing Superpowers!"

What do you like best?

The implementation was simple, straightforward and the Qubit product team were on hand 24/7 for advice and best practice recommendations.

Having the power to make an informed decision on new site features and understanding our customer behaviour has revolutionised how we do business at James Villa holidays.

What do you dislike?

As powerful as the dashboard and Qubit platform is, a facility whereby we can archive and sort our tests from the landing page would be really beneficial - particularly when the volume of tests begins to stack up.

Recommendations to others considering the product:

Data is power and understanding your customers onsite behaviour and what leads them to conversion is the greatest tool in an ever expanding e-commerce toolbox. The Qubit platform is a black and decker powertool of opportunity for e-commerce business owners and anyone with a transaction/goal based website.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

With the Qubit platform and advice from the product team we have been able to segment our customers into key demographics, tailoring distinct messages to each cohort and increasing conversion across the board.

Restricted behind a code freeze on the website we were able to maximise the Qubit platform by applying important legal messages for travellers to the website after legislation change by the government - making us first responders in comparison with our competitors.

By split-testing various permutations we were able to define which copy worked better across a range of call-to-actions, increasing conversions and understanding our customers psychology at the same time.

"Simple to implement and view results"

What do you like best?

Clean modern design means it is very easy to see results and navigate around. Fairly simple to get experiments up and running. Makes it easy to implement quick fixes and solutions to problems as well as just testing. Simple changes and tests eg wording can be done very quickly and easily.

What do you dislike?

With Qubit I would llike to see a better overlay functionality to view the tests as a preview.

Recommendations to others considering the product:

Give it a go. No reason at all not to!! Ease of use, ease of implementation, easy to realise results. As a quick get up and go for simple A/B testing no reason at all not to use.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

We wanted the ability to be able to quickly think of tests to get going and then be able to quickly get these live and see if they made any different. For example change of a button color, or wording on a button. It is perfect for this and from this we have been able to notice significant changes and make these to our audience. The smallest change can actually make a huge difference we have discovered and the ability to quickly get that running and displaying to our customers rather than going through the long process of changing with our outsourced developers has been very helpful.

"Exceptionally Useful Tool and Excellent Team"

What do you like best?

The software is really easy to use and helps us set up A/B test with minimum effort but achieve accurate and reliable results. The team are also very hands on and have been there at the end of a phonecall/email every step of the way and have also set up many tests on our behalf when our resource has been tight. Cannot fault the service!

What do you dislike?

There is nothing I can really think of that I really dislike. Perhaps it would be good if you're also able to conduct multi-variant testing, but this may already be in place.

Recommendations to others considering the product:

Fantastic team you will be dedicated to your account and achieving your objectives.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

We are always looking for ways to improve our on-site conversion. Our development team is based overseas so Qubit works as perfect short-term patch for any rolling developments we'd like to roll out to the site.

"Good tool for web site testing and personalisation, but still somewhat immature."

What do you like best?

Ease of targeting when setting up new layers. The targeting interface is very sensible. Together with their other modules, you can better understand under-performing segments and run tests targeting them.

What do you dislike?

UI still lags others like Optimizely. Cannot use the UI to make many changes to the page. You're either in one mode or another instead of layers changes on top of each other.

Running multipage tests is close to impossible without writing complex Javascript logic, something you'd hope the UI would make easy.

Recommendations to others considering the product:

If you want fast A/B testing that's somewhat complex, Qubit isn't the right tool. For simple personalisation with measurement of efficacy, it's a good tool.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Primarily A/B testing with a managed services component. However, the benefit of testing with personalisation is great,

"Simply Amazing"

What do you like best?

Its very easy to use and very easy to implement. The dashboard is clean and everything is easy to find.

The JavaScript code editor in my opinion is one of the best code editors (online) that I have ever used and reminds of a similar desktop editor i use.

Although I've not used the basic editor much, it is very, very simple to use and anyone with little to know coding knowledge will be able to get get overlays showing in no time at all.

What do you dislike?

Tracking of events/clicks on the elements created via Qubit is a feature i feel is missing.

Recommendations to others considering the product:

Definitely give it a try.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Interact with customers more and enhance user experience.

"Qubit Review"

What do you like best?

Really easy to make quick, effective UX updates to the website. The team are really helpful in making recommendations and helping us find the best solutions for our audience. It's also great for testing new ideas or functions.

What do you dislike?

On the whole it's great when we're tight on internal resource as we can create our own campaigns with the tool really easily, but some more complicated tests require engineer coding which can take a day or two to turn around. The team are always very accommodating though.

Recommendations to others considering the product:

A good tool for busy brands that need to respond quickly to consumer behaviour and trends.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

It helps us make important updates when our resource is tight on other projects.

What do you like best?

Minimalistic design of the platform (backend) which is super user friendly

What do you dislike?

Recommendations to others considering the product:

The platform is ok and user friendly in the backend environment. Even with lots of experience loaded the usability speed is great.

"I have used Qubit for marketing campaigns and testing."

What do you like best?

Their results screen is very easy to understand and they have really supported us in implementing our tests and campaigns.

What do you dislike?

Not much apart from sometimes tests taking longer because of the measurement strategy (users and not sessions). I know there different opinions on this.

Recommendations to others considering the product:

if you want testing tool that can also support your marketing campaigns then this is the tool for you.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

"Great tool but not as simple as the demo suggested"

What do you like best?

You can get results instantly and it's very easy to determine what is and isn't working.

What do you dislike?

The demo made it seem very user friendly but to use it to its full potential you need to use the advanced mode which require Javascript knowledge.

Recommendations to others considering the product:

Overall it is a good package but be aware that you will need someone with Javascript knowledge to get the most out of it

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

For us the tool has really enabled us to trial new concepts quickly as opposed to going through the long process of getting development involved.

"A Review of Qubit"

What do you like best?

The Qubit Team is awesome. They are very diligent in getting campaigns started and they are always available to troubleshoot.

What do you dislike?

The Interface is not as user-friendly as it could be. They need to make some changes to the layer editing tool. For example image mapping could be so much easier.

Recommendations to others considering the product:

Its an awesome team of people and the tool is getting better. I would say test it out and you won't be disappointed.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

"A great way to truly measure incremental conversion activities"

What do you like best?

Qubit allows us to truly do randomised AB tests to show true incrementality. This is especially useful in Marketing such as Retargeting through Display.

What do you dislike?

Nothing that I dislike about the relationship or tool, they are professional and the tool meets all of my current needs

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

We are removing barriers to conversion on the site. Some of the simple tests have shown conversion increases that equate to 6 figure revenue increases

"Qubit software review"

What do you like best?

Qubit is easy to use for conversion rate optimisation and basic personalisation, for non technical team members.

Qubit combines a fantastic product with an expert team.

What do you dislike?

Since Qubit was set up as testing/optimisation tool, you can't deploy to 100% of your audience, as they require a 10% control for every test.

I found conflicts with Qubit and other 3rd party scripts.

Recommendations to others considering the product:

Qubit will pay for itself in year one from incremental revenue derived from conversion rate testing.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

We have seen a slight impact on our overall ROI. It is still early days though, as our traffic sources have gone through significant changes.
