What do you like best about SAP Emarsys?

I find SAP Emarsys flexible for our marketing department, enhancing efficiency in marketing operations. I appreciate the ability to set up push notifications and inbox messages for different segments, which are instrumental in our communication strategy. What do you dislike about SAP Emarsys?

Setting up SAP Emarsys has proven to be quite demanding, especially when it comes to integrating Emarsys with our existing SAP legacy platform and configuring several test accounts. Furthermore, the SDK we adopted was not technically mature, which made the process even more challenging. I feel that the SDK documentation could be more comprehensive, as it currently lacks sufficient detail. In addition, I think the technical support could be more responsive and helpful. What do you like best about SAP Emarsys?

I really like SAP Emarsys' interface. The UI is very good, and it makes setting up SMS and email marketing campaigns much easier compared to other tools I've used. What do you dislike about SAP Emarsys?

I think sometimes it glitches, especially when we create campaigns in bulk. I also feel they could introduce more programs, like loyalty programs and better subscriptions. What do you like best about SAP Emarsys?

I love the automation in SAP Emarsys. The prebuilt journeys, AI triggers, and templates let me launch sophisticated campaigns quickly and respond in real time to customer behavior. Prebuilt journeys define what to do, AI triggers decide when and for whom, and templates ensure how it's delivered. What do you dislike about SAP Emarsys?

Not working easily: Basic campaigns are easy to launch but advanced automation, AI logic and data modeling require solid platform knowledge. Can be improved: SAP Emarsys follows best practice driven structures, which is great for speed but can feel restrictive for very custom workflows. What do you dislike about SAP Emarsys?

The interface is getting less and less friendly, unfortunately.

- Especially when it comes to the segment creation part, I am sorry, but the interface and the different groups became almost unreadable.

- In the email campaign list, there used to be a redirect to the automation when an email was part of an automation; now we simply have the indication that the recipient source is a program and the name of the given program and need some extra clicks to go to the automation area.

- In the previous version in the email campaign list, it used to be possible to see the target segment and exclusion under the recipient sources. Now we do only see the segment without the exclusion.

- It's not possible anymore to open email KPI (from the email campaign list) in a new tab. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I like SAP Emarsys for all the channels it has to communicate with customers. I also appreciate all the artificial intelligence it offers to suggest possible strategies and create them. This provides more possibilities to reach the customer, get closer to them, and build a strong relationship, ensuring that the customer feels we are communicating with them and attending to their needs. Customer Support: The agents are quick to respond, insightful, and willing to provide not only a solution but guidance.

Platform Navigation: The UI is well laid out and intuitive.

Reporting: The reporting tools, whilst there, offer email specific reporting or trends for all emails. It will be best to have a fully functional reporting tool to customise reporting metrics and selecting specific email campaigns.

Release Changes: We are not informed when releases are taking place, which has caused setup grievances.

Easy to use programs that run on it´s own, knowledge and know-how gathered from a huge amount of companies and countries, data driven marketing tools that reach out to the clients with the proper message at the right time, easy and quick support, great account manager who is dedicated and engaged in making sure the tools are being used in the best possible way, lots of interesting seminars. What do you dislike about SAP Emarsys?
