**What do you like best about PL Rating?**

I like how easy PL Rating is to use and how it simplifies the process of searching for customers. It displays a list of recently worked customers, which saves time by making the search process quicker. Also, it allows us to move quotes to all our carriers' websites, avoiding the repetition of entering customer information individually. My manager mentioned that the initial setup was practically flawless.

**What do you dislike about PL Rating?**

When the risk in eligible, I wish it could give reasons better as to why it is ineligible

PL Rating helps find the best carrier by handling many options. It's easy to use, quickly searches customers, and shows recent ones. It saves time by transferring quotes to all carriers, avoiding repetitive data entry.

**What do you like best about PL Rating?**

I like that PL Rating is pretty simple and straightforward in a consolidated way, allowing us to do as many quotes as possible with as many carriers as possible. It really helps with time efficiency by reducing the amount of manual data entry, enabling us to quickly and efficiently quote as many companies as possible.

**What do you dislike about PL Rating?**

I'm really frustrated with PL Rating because a lot of carriers have opted out of it or we can't use it most of the time. Since we're a California-based agency, I can only use PL Rating for private passenger auto risks, and that's about it. I can't use it for homeowners insurance, landlord insurance, renters insurance, dwelling fire, or condos. It's frustrating because these are the areas we need it the most under current pressures, but we don't have access.

I use PL Rating for multi-carrier rating, making quoting efficient by reducing manual data entry time. It's simple and straightforward to quote as many companies across carriers as possible.

**What do you like best about PL Rating?**

I like the fact that PL Rating has a lot of different fields and while some fields are required, some are optional. I can put in a lot of information that then carries over into individual carrier sites. I also appreciate that it lets me put in all the information once, instead of having to enter it separately in a dozen different carrier websites. It's helpful because all of the carriers are a bit different, and in PL Rating, the information is always in the exact same spot. I don't have to hunt around and find the different screens to enter it on each carrier website. It was an extremely easy software for me to learn when I started working here.

**What do you dislike about PL Rating?**

It's not a dislike, just a suggestion - if possible, I would really love the ability to quote other things besides home and auto, like motorcycles, boats, RVs, and renter policies. Right now, these options aren't available.

**What problems is PL Rating solving and how is that benefiting you?**

PL Rating helps me compare insurance quotes quickly by letting me input information once instead of entering it over and over on different carrier websites.

I like PL Rating because it simplifies quoting and makes it easy for me to bridge to any company. I just have to input very basic information, and it automatically pulls all the customer details to the company offering the best rates. The initial setup was super easy too.

I think the system's appearance could be more modern. The letters might be too small, and the overall feel of the system seems a bit old.

What I dislike about PL Rating is that not all carriers have the same level of integration, which sometimes requires re-entering information directly on the carrier’s website. There are also occasional delays or discrepancies in rates or underwriting questions compared to the carrier portal, which can slow down the quoting process. Additionally, customization of workflows and reports is somewhat limited for agency-specific needs.

Time-consuming manual rating: Before PL Rating, gathering premiums and coverage comparisons across multiple carriers could be slow and prone to errors. PL Rating automates that process.

**What do you like best about PL Rating?**

I really like how PL Rating saves us time by allowing us to quote all carriers at the same time, so we don't have to quote each carrier individually. It's handy for determining which carrier is likely to be most competitive in certain cases. I also appreciate the feature that lets us package auto and home together, which again saves us time. The initial setup was very simple, making it easy to get started.

**What do you dislike about PL Rating?**

I don't think there are any features that really don't work well for us. You know, obviously, the interface is very outdated looking. It could probably use a refresh there. But, again, it's not a client facing program that we use, so it's not that crucial or important.

I use PL Rating to quickly determine the best carrier for new prospects and existing clients, saving time by quoting all at once. It shows competitive carriers, allows packaging auto and home, and bridges to carrier websites.

**What do you like best about PL Rating?**

I like how easy PL Rating is to use and its seamless integration. It's really nice that I can automatically pull quotes into AMS360 and AgencyZoom from PL Rating. This saves me from having to save and manually enter information from 10 different quotes.

**What do you dislike about PL Rating?**

The interface and when quoting a current customer, some of the data pulling into PL Rating from AMS when it is already in the customer's profile. Those issues just add a few more steps of data entry that if they were automatically pulled in from the customer's profile, it would not be needed. Just trying to map the passwords and logins for the carriers can sometimes get difficult.

**What problems is PL Rating solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use PL Rating to compare quotes across multiple carriers and eliminate manual data entry across 10+ carriers. It seamlessly integrates with AMS360 and AgencyZoom, automatically pulling quotes, which saves me from having to manually enter the information.

**What do you like best about PL Rating?**

It let's me do Auto Quote quickly so I can get quotes out to my clients in a timely manner.  It is also very helpful at Renewal time as you can copy quotes that are saved in the PL Rater system and just update the renewal year.  Another great feature is that you can pick the companies that you want a quote from and it is easy to add new companies if you obtain new markets.  Once you receive your results you can review all the prices in a convenient re-cap and you can port right into the companies website to bind coverage if you are happy with one of the quotes you received.

**What do you dislike about PL Rating?**

I am pretty happy with PL Rater and have do not really have anything that I dislike about it.

**What problems is PL Rating solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It allows me to obtain multiple quotes and I only have to enter the information once.

**What do you like best about PL Rating?**

I like that PL Rating does a good job in gathering all the carrier-specific underwriting questions and putting them in one place. It saves us a lot of time from having to quote individually with each carrier. The questions seem to be accurate, reducing the number of unanswered questions when modifying quotes within carrier portals. I also found the initial setup pretty seamless, and the training from Vertifor is always really helpful. We've enjoyed the communication between PL Rating and other Vertifor products like Agency Zoom and AMS 360.

**What do you dislike about PL Rating?**

It seems like the quotes are not always extremely accurate. So that yes, it gathers all the necessary information then once I go into the carrier portal to make some little fine-tune adjustments to the quote, it actually does end up changing the premium a good bit. And that could just be user error, but that's something that we've experienced.

PL Rating saves us a lot of time by handling quotes across multiple carriers, gathering all underwriting questions in one place, reducing the need to visit each carrier's site.

I like PL Rating for its ease of use, and setting it up was very easy. It efficiently helps us by allowing us to enter customer information once and then provides auto quotes from our 15 insurance companies. This single entry and multiple quotes feature saves time and effort, and it's handy that we can bridge directly to the desired insurance company.

We cannot add all of our home insurance companies on the rater. We only have a few we can actually choose from.

What I like most about PL Rating is how easy it is to use. Simply, with the information my agency gives me, I can put it into Feel Rate and follow the steps very easily. It is an open site that anyone can access. Additionally, its initial setup is very easy and straightforward, everything went well.

**What do you dislike about PL Rating?**

Well, they could improve the part where you add your users from different insurance companies; it should tell you right away if the user is incorrect. Instead of waiting until you are quoting to tell you that it can't give you a quote because the user is wrong. The lack of an immediate error notification makes me waste time, and that is an aspect to improve.

PL Rating makes it easy for me to find a good quote in a simple way, following clear steps. It is easy to use daily for renewals in my agency, allowing me to find good premiums for my clients.

I use PL Rating to rate personal lines insurance. It saves time by plugging client info in once and bridging to other carriers. I like the fact I can save time and be efficient. By plugging info in once, I can bridge over to any carrier, which takes maybe 5 minutes where we used to have to go to websites and plug everything in ourselves, which would take much longer. The initial setup of PL Rating was easy!

Sometimes the amount shown is completely inaccurate or it will say a carrier declined when they really didn't.

Sometimes the figures that we receive are not exactly as accurate as I'd like, and I have to finalize some things, some nuances in our actual carriers. So it takes a little extra time with that.

I'm finding the sign-on process with PL Rating to be a real challenge, especially since we have to use different sign-ons for different vertical products, leading to a lot of out of sync issues. The rating system feels cumbersome, keeping it updated and ensuring we're set up for all carriers is a bit much. Plus, you can't bypass certain questions without having to exit and re-enter the rating, which I think could be streamlined better. Setting everything up has been tough; some producers took months, and others even gave up because it was too difficult.

I really appreciate PL Rating's ability to save me time by not having to enter the same data into multiple carriers. I like that I can just enter information once and it rates all the companies at one time. One of my favorite parts is being able to bridge it over to the carrier, so I don't have to start from scratch on the carrier's website. The setup was pretty straightforward, allowing me to change passwords for the carriers and add users easily.

I think right now, one of our biggest struggles is trying to get the information from our agency management system bridged over into PL Rating. **What do you like best about PL Rating?**

I like that we have one system to input all the main info needed for a quote, and even without binding, we can bridge to carriers or export to our management system to make the new client or policy tab. Another great thing is that we can bridge to multiple carriers and spend less time on quoting than going to the carriers individually. Quoting multiple carriers at once helps us not have to go to each carrier individually and input all the information for an insured multiple times. Having the general information in one place and used on multiple carriers helps us save time and we get a quicker response on what carriers will take the quote. PL Rating had better options for becoming more automated with our quoting, and since we put the client rater on our website, prospects can go direct there and it's input into PL Rating. The initial setup was fairly simple, and after a few speed bumps with setting up import/export with Hawksoft, we've had a smooth transition.

**What do you dislike about PL Rating?**

I find it difficult that PL Rating does not include surplus/non-admitted carriers for property insurance. This means we input all the information and get nothing back, requiring us to separately handle these carriers. Also, dwelling fire quotes rarely lead to something that can be bridged, preventing us from exporting the information to the management system to create a client. This creates double the work on certain policies.

The underwriting questions can get very repetitive, although I understand why. It would be helpful if each carrier could see the previous questions and answers, so they wouldn’t need to be entered again every time.

With rates always increasing and clients requesting quotes elsewhere, PL Rating gives us a quick view of other companies. I like how PL Rating simplifies the process of quoting auto and home insurance by consolidating quotes so I don't have to do them separately for each insurance company. It's easy to read and has similarities in quotes that make working with different insurance companies straightforward. As I use it more, I find that it helps me save time with each quote.

The insurance companies for the Credentials that come back unquoted. Very frustrating. A better system to go from administration screens back to the quote screen. A few insurance companies do not rate for me and they are a most used insurance carrier.

**What do you like best about PL Rating?**

PL rater is extremely easy to use. It is very user friendly to both experienced and beginner quoters. It speeds up our workflow and allows for a seamless transition into the carrier websites for finalizing quotes. There are a lot of options for customization/prefill options if you are always quoting similar risks/coverages. I love its' ability to retain all client information and quotes as it makes it easy to quickly access past data, update changes, and generate requotes in future years. I rely on PL Rater daily and it's an integral part of my workflow. Any time I've had an issue, the customer service phone line is quick and they make it really easy to get issues resolved.

**What do you dislike about PL Rating?**

The biggest thing that I dislike about PL rating is that I wish the system itself was more intuitive and able to use the information I input in the different screens to automatically populate the additional questions, especially the carrier-specific questions were applicable. The questions for all the carriers is the section that is more tedious and takes the most time. Automating this process, perhaps through AI or other forms of automation, could significantly reduce the time and effort required to finish the quoting process. EX: if I don't check the telematics box on the vehicle page, all of the additional questions relating to telematics will automatically prefill to no or adding an umbrella option to the home coverage page that if I have it checked, all additional questions asking if there will be an umbrella quoted with the account will prefill to yes. (not sure if this is already a feature or if my agency pays for it)

PL Rater reduces the amount of time/effort that is required to quote 20+ carriers. There's no way I would be able to churn out multiple quotes a day if I were doing it all manually. It is absolutely essential in my day to day workflow. It's not perfect as I still have to review everything once bridged to the carrier website but it reduces duplicate work/data entry into each company website manually.

The process is fast and quite straightforward. Entering data is simple, allowing me to receive multiple quotes all at once.

**What do you dislike about PL Rating?**

I wish more of our carriers, especially the high-value ones like AIG, PURE, and CHUBB, were compatible with PL rater. Since many of our clients have high-value accounts, PL rater isn't the best solution for moving those accounts, as they are usually better suited to those other companies. This means I have to manually complete each individual quote, which is time-consuming. I also wish the question mark help buttons were more detailed—some of them just restate the question from PL without providing any additional clarification.

Certainly a time saving device with accounts that do fit in the standard market that is compatible with PL rater.

I love using PL Rating because it saves a ton of time for generating auto quotes. It's a huge relief not having to go into each carrier website individually to quote as PL Rating does it all in one place. Additionally, I find it very user-friendly and the initial setup was easy.

You have to get out of quoting the automobile policy to change the customer's address. It would be better if you could add the insured address into the workflow.

I appreciate that PL Rating quotes multiple carriers at the same time, which saves time by keeping us from having to manually enter data into carrier sites multiple times. It's very easy to set up and integrate with our HawkSoft AMS.

The pricing isn’t always accurate, and we need to bridge to carriers to get an accurate rate. The rates that come back almost always change when we log into the carrier sites, so that still takes extra time. It quotes multiple carriers at the same time but it would be nice if it worked with all carriers.

PL Rating saves us time by quoting multiple carriers simultaneously, avoiding manual data entry on carrier sites, but it needs more accurate pricing to prevent extra time spent bridging to carriers.

Some carriers are more tricky to get quotes from. A little more user-friendly on carriers like Branch would be helpful. There were a few hiccups during the initial setup. Some of the carriers didn't integrate, and I'm not very tech-savvy.

**What do you like best about PL Rating?**

I like being able to input prospect data and achieve fairly accurate rates so that I can quickly see which carrier to choose. I have started using PL rater more frequently and have been encouraging my co-workers to implement this into their daily routine. Hawksoft support is also very helpful!

**What do you dislike about PL Rating?**

Really the only downside I see is that it RARELY pulls in all of the drivers and almost never pulls in the vehicles anymore. This is prohibitive on my speed of quoting. I feel like the vehicles used to pull in but now it never seems like they do.

**What problems is PL Rating solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I used to assume that another carrier was not competitive when quoting our carriers directly. After signing up for PL rater I quickly learned that the other carriers deserve a fair shot because you never know who will come in best. 
It's also nice to show the carriers and sales reps our quote activity even when not quoting them directly.

I love that I can quote several different companies at once with PL Rating. I also love that it shows the pros and cons of each quoted option, which helps me determine which company is most likely eligible for what we are quoting. It even shows the underwriting requirements for binding and whether or not it can be monoline. The initial setup was very easy, and the emails explaining the setup were very helpful.

**What do you dislike about PL Rating?**

I feel that having different raters available and options to run MVRs would be beneficial. I feel like we needed more one-on-one training; when our account was set up, there wasn't good communication on how we were doing with it. Better options to run reports and MVRs while in the PL rater with different companies like the current contract we have with LexisNexis.

**What problems is PL Rating solving and how is that benefiting you?**

PL Rating simplifies entering basic info into all companies, lets me quote several companies at once, and shows each option's pros and cons. It helps determine company eligibility and shows underwriting requirements for binding and monoline ability.

I don't like that PL Rating sometimes brings back quotes that aren't completely accurate. Sometimes a quote will say a certain amount, but when you go through the carrier, it's a different amount.
