What do you like best about PL Rating?

PL rater is extremely easy to use. It is very user friendly to both experienced and beginner quoters. It speeds up our workflow and allows for a seamless transition into the carrier websites for finalizing quotes. There are a lot of options for customization/prefill options if you are always quoting similar risks/coverages. I love its' ability to retain all client information and quotes as it makes it easy to quickly access past data, update changes, and generate requotes in future years. I rely on PL Rater daily and it's an integral part of my workflow. Any time I've had an issue, the customer service phone line is quick and they make it really easy to get issues resolved. What do you dislike about PL Rating?

The biggest thing that I dislike about PL rating is that I wish the system itself was more intuitive and able to use the information I input in the different screens to automatically populate the additional questions, especially the carrier-specific questions were applicable. The questions for all the carriers is the section that is more tedious and takes the most time. Automating this process, perhaps through AI or other forms of automation, could significantly reduce the time and effort required to finish the quoting process. EX: if I don't check the telematics box on the vehicle page, all of the additional questions relating to telematics will automatically prefill to no or adding an umbrella option to the home coverage page that if I have it checked, all additional questions asking if there will be an umbrella quoted with the account will prefill to yes. (not sure if this is already a feature or if my agency pays for it) Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Fast, Efficient Quoting with Seamless Integration"
What do you like best about PL Rating?

What I like best about PL Rating is how fast and efficient it makes the quoting process. It allows me to compare multiple carriers side by side, saving time and helping clients get the best rate instantly. What do you dislike about PL Rating?

It’s a good system overall, but sometimes it runs slow and not all carriers load correctly. Also, the price almost always changes when we bridge to the carrier’s portal, which makes it hard to trust the initial quote. What do you like best about PL Rating?

The process is fast and quite straightforward. Entering data is simple, allowing me to receive multiple quotes all at once. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about PL Rating?

I wish more of our carriers, especially the high-value ones like AIG, PURE, and CHUBB, were compatible with PL rater. Since many of our clients have high-value accounts, PL rater isn't the best solution for moving those accounts, as they are usually better suited to those other companies. This means I have to manually complete each individual quote, which is time-consuming. I also wish the question mark help buttons were more detailed—some of them just restate the question from PL without providing any additional clarification. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Time saver for agents! Best way to seek rates for prospects."
What do you like best about PL Rating?

I like being able to input prospect data and achieve fairly accurate rates so that I can quickly see which carrier to choose. I have started using PL rater more frequently and have been encouraging my co-workers to implement this into their daily routine. Hawksoft support is also very helpful! What do you dislike about PL Rating?

Really the only downside I see is that it RARELY pulls in all of the drivers and almost never pulls in the vehicles anymore. This is prohibitive on my speed of quoting. I feel like the vehicles used to pull in but now it never seems like they do. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Time-Saving Quote Aggregator, Needs Setup Improvements"
What do you like best about PL Rating?

I like that PL Rating allows me to quote home and auto insurance in one place, which saves me time by not having to go through each carrier separately. It's great to find the best options for clients without repeating the same steps multiple times. This efficiency not only saves time but also means I can provide better service for my customers. What do you dislike about PL Rating?

I encounter application errors and the pricing is not always correct. Also, accessing the quotes in the carrier system or getting quote numbers is a bit challenging. I'm new to the software, so maybe that's part of it. The initial setup was okay, but it should be simplified to be extremely user-friendly, like making it so easy a 5-year-old could do it. What do you like best about PL Rating?

I love that I can quote several different companies at once with PL Rating. I also love that it shows the pros and cons of each quoted option, which helps me determine which company is most likely eligible for what we are quoting. It even shows the underwriting requirements for binding and whether or not it can be monoline. The initial setup was very easy, and the emails explaining the setup were very helpful. What do you dislike about PL Rating?

I feel that having different raters available and options to run MVRs would be beneficial. I feel like we needed more one-on-one training; when our account was set up, there wasn't good communication on how we were doing with it. What do you like best about PL Rating?

I like PL Rating for its ease of use, particularly the ease of the forms, and the quickness with which I can quote multiple carriers. I only have to enter the information one time, which makes it much more convenient compared to entering it multiple times with multiple locations using other systems. It's really efficient because I can do it all in one touch. "Super Fast, User-Friendly Rater—Just Needs More Business Line Options"
What do you like best about PL Rating?

The PL Rating is best for agencies that work with various companies helps with the speed of things. Cuts a quote turn around time to less than 8 minutes because the rator is super helpful you get numbers at once I use the pl rator daily and will continue to use it due to its speed and effectiveness. Its given me the best numbers. the simplicity and effectiveness with different systems is amazing. It's super easy to use and very straightforward on how to use it not much training needed to use it. What do you like best about PL Rating?

I love that PL Rating asks all the questions needed to obtain a close to accurate quote with each carrier that we have access to. It cuts out the need to enter information directly with each carrier. This helps with time management and accuracy with each quote. The initial setup was very user-friendly. I was able to navigate within PL Rating and learn the ins and outs without much assistance. What do you like best about PL Rating?

I find PL Rating to be beneficial as it provides an easy way to quote multiple companies simultaneously, which streamlines the process of obtaining personal lines auto quotes efficiently.
