What do you like best about PL Rating?

PL rater is extremely easy to use. It is very user friendly to both experienced and beginner quoters. It speeds up our workflow and allows for a seamless transition into the carrier websites for finalizing quotes. There are a lot of options for customization/prefill options if you are always quoting similar risks/coverages. I love its' ability to retain all client information and quotes as it makes it easy to quickly access past data, update changes, and generate requotes in future years. I rely on PL Rater daily and it's an integral part of my workflow. Any time I've had an issue, the customer service phone line is quick and they make it really easy to get issues resolved. What do you dislike about PL Rating?

The biggest thing that I dislike about PL rating is that I wish the system itself was more intuitive and able to use the information I input in the different screens to automatically populate the additional questions, especially the carrier-specific questions were applicable. The questions for all the carriers is the section that is more tedious and takes the most time. Automating this process, perhaps through AI or other forms of automation, could significantly reduce the time and effort required to finish the quoting process. EX: if I don't check the telematics box on the vehicle page, all of the additional questions relating to telematics will automatically prefill to no or adding an umbrella option to the home coverage page that if I have it checked, all additional questions asking if there will be an umbrella quoted with the account will prefill to yes. What do you like best about PL Rating?

What I like best about PL Rating is how fast and efficient it makes the quoting process. It allows me to compare multiple carriers side by side, saving time and helping clients get the best rate instantly. What do you dislike about PL Rating?

It’s a good system overall, but sometimes it runs slow and not all carriers load correctly. Also, the price almost always changes when we bridge to the carrier’s portal, which makes it hard to trust the initial quote. What do you like best about PL Rating?

I like being able to input prospect data and achieve fairly accurate rates so that I can quickly see which carrier to choose. I have started using PL rater more frequently and have been encouraging my co-workers to implement this into their daily routine. Hawksoft support is also very helpful! What do you dislike about PL Rating?

Really the only downside I see is that it RARELY pulls in all of the drivers and almost never pulls in the vehicles anymore. This is prohibitive on my speed of quoting. I feel like the vehicles used to pull in but now it never seems like they do. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about PL Rating?

The PL Rating is best for agencies that work with various companies helps with the speed of things. Cuts a quote turn around time to less than 8 minutes because the rator is super helpful you get numbers at once I use the pl rator daily and will continue to use it due to its speed and effectiveness. Its given me the best numbers. the simplicity and effectiveness with different systems is amazing. It's super easy to use and very straightforward on how to use it not much training needed to use it. One thing I dislike is that sometimes the information required to proceed in the rater is not enough when we reach the carrier, as they often ask for additional details or the data entered in the rater does not automatically transfer to the carrier's page. Additionally, when quoting a dwelling fire, there is no option to export the information from PL Rater into the management system if the carrier selected do not give the option to bridge, which makes the process less efficient. I find PL Rating incredibly beneficial due to its functionality and significant time savings, which are crucial in my insurance work. The ability to input data once and have it smoothly bridge over to carriers saves a tremendous amount of time. The efficiency it brings is remarkable; a process that previously took one to two hours can now be completed in as little as twenty minutes. This not only accelerates my workflow but also ensures that all necessary information is readily available for requoting in the future, merely requiring a date change. I appreciate how PL Rating allows direct rating to the consumer and from the website, along with facilitating data sharing with partners. Furthermore, the support I received during setup was outstanding, with my trainer being exceptionally helpful and making the transition seamless, which enhanced my overall experience with PL Rating. What do you dislike about PL Rating?

I find the limitation in PL Rating frustrating as it should allow bundle quoting even if I only have one line of business. Currently, if I only have something like Progressive Auto, I feel like I should be able to create a bundle quote and receive a 'not available' response instead of having to create separate monoline quotes. I find PL Rating incredibly helpful because it significantly reduces the time I have to spend entering data repeatedly into different insurance companies' rating sites, streamlining the process and increasing my efficiency. I appreciate how easy it was to set up the credentials, which was surprisingly straightforward. I also love the capability of the software to bridge over to the company’s websites, which has been very helpful in ensuring seamless operations. Another feature I particularly enjoy is how the software pulls data based on the address entered; it's a unique and beneficial function that makes my tasks much easier. What do you dislike about PL Rating?

There is an excessive amount of required information to enter just to get a quote. I would really appreciate a feature that offers a quicker way to receive a quote. Additionally, the software does not work seamlessly across devices.
