Social selling is a sales strategy wherein salespeople use social media networks to interact with business prospects. The growing prominence of the strategy makes sense-- both salespeople and their prospects are likely engaging with social media on a daily basis, so the social approach allows salespeople to connect with their prospects in a less invasive way than cold calls or emails. Connecting socially breaks down some of the formal barriers between sales professionals and those they’re trying to sell to, creating an open channel for prospects to ask questions or for salespeople to share helpful content that a prospect may find valuable, even if they are not ready to buy yet. To excel at social selling, salespeople need to focus on building their personal brand and building trust amongst their social networks. I really appreciate how Sprout Social makes social media managing and reporting easy and reliable, especially compared to Hootsuite, which was a nightmare for building reports. It has significantly simplified my job as simple tasks take less time, and the campaign reporting feature is outstanding. I think that it could be a little quicker to update to current standards. For example: Instagram now supports 20 photos in a post, still in Hootsuite you can only schedule 10. Additionally, you still can't seem to schedule out YouTube shorts content. I wish the drag and drop scheduling could be done by the hour not just daily. Soci was very easy to integrate, and is limited on its performance issues. Overalll, we're very satisfied with the easiness SOCI creates for our marketing. It was easy to setup, easy to explain to new employees, and has very effective features with the new AI implimentations. I cannot personally attest to anything I *dislike* about SOCI, but it would be nice to implement things other than post for the feed and stories or communications. What do you like best about Vista Social?

I manage a few client accounts plus my own account as a freelancer, and before Vista Social I was constantly bouncing between apps just to keep up with messages and scheduling

The interface is quite easy to navigate and it feels structured in a way that I can actually stay on top of it without losing my mind. You really don’t need tutorials to get going, which is great coz some tools can feel complicated, if I’m being honest. The DMs, comments across all the social accounts appear in real time making it easy to get a bird's eye view on everything.

The social listening feature surprised me the most though. I wasn't expecting it at this price point, usually that's locked for much more expensive tools. I am particularly drawn to the ability to build out automated workflows and elaborate form functionality. Automated workflows are extremely valuable because they can be fully customized, edited, and iterated in live time, giving us an automated way to nurture our leads, contacts, and customers. We can build out standard, simple forms with ease, and also create fully custom forms with different fields, designs, and conditional fields for more personalized responses. I am using EngageBay for handling our emails and staying in touch with people in our business and the best part that I like is that everything is in one place. I can see all contacts, send emails and setup follow-ups without switching between different tools

Setting up automatic follow-up emails is actually quite easy. Once I created a few sequences, I didn't have to worry much after that. It keeps sending messages on time, which helps because earlier we used to forget or delay replies. This has made things more consistent for us.

What I like most is that the UI/UX is very clear and easy to use. It also has one of the best automation systems out there—I use automations a lot, and this is by far the best one I’ve worked with. I also love the CRM management: the way it filters tags and organizes everything about each contact into columns makes it very straightforward and simple to manage. What do you dislike about ActiveCampaign?

What I dislike most is the email builder. It’s clunky, hard to use, and not very intuitive.

Another thing I don’t like is the reporting system. The way it filters and displays metrics is difficult to understand and navigate. I’d prefer it to be more straightforward and focused on what matters, like email title effectiveness, open rate, and click-through rate.

Also, the campaign duplication feature could be improved. It would help if every duplicated campaign could be grouped into a single category so I can find them quickly, instead of ending up with an isolated copy each time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I really like the email digests. I’m super busy running the shop and I don't always have time to log into a "dashboard". Getting a clean email every morning that says "Hey, 5 people mentioned your bakery today" is perfect. It even found a TikTok where someone was showing off our sourdough and it went semi-viral! I would have totally missed that and lost the chance to comment and thank them if it wasnt for the alerts. It makes me feel like I actually have a PR team even though it’s just me and a laptop. What do you like best about Bigin by Zoho CRM?

We recently started using Zoho Bigin CRM for managing enquiries and student interactions at Sankhyiki, and the experience so far has been very smooth.

What we really like about Bigin is its simplicity. Unlike many CRMs that feel complicated and overwhelming, Bigin is extremely easy to set up and start using. The pipeline view makes it very intuitive to track leads from enquiry to conversion, which is very helpful for an education business like ours where we deal with a large number of student queries.

Zoho Bigin solves this problem by giving us a structured pipeline to manage all leads in one place. We can easily track every enquiry from the initial student inquiry to final course enrollment, ensuring that no potential student is missed.

The automation and task management features are also very helpful. Follow-ups, reminders, and communication history are all recorded in one system, which saves time and improves team coordination.
