What do you like best about Calendly?

I mostly use Calendly for interviews, quick client calls, and follow-ups, and honestly it makes scheduling a lot less annoying. Before this, I used to coordinate times manually over email or Slack, and it ended up wasting more time than I expected especially when different time zones were involved.

The booking links are probably the most useful feature for me, because people can just pick an available slot directly without all the back-and-forth. I also like the reminders and buffer settings, since they help prevent overlapping meetings and reduce last-minute confusion. What do you dislike about Calendly?

One thing I’ve noticed is that calendar syncing can sometimes take a bit of time to update availability correctly. It doesn’t happen all the time, but during busier schedules I’ve run into a few cases where the timing didn’t reflect properly and I had to manually adjust it afterward.

Some of the routing and availability settings also felt a little confusing at first, especially when I was managing multiple meeting types at the same time. What problems is Calendly solving and how is that benefiting you?

Calendly has largely solved the constant back-and-forth scheduling problem for me. Before using it, I was manually coordinating times through messages, emails, and calendar checks, and it honestly got messy pretty quickly once multiple people were involved.

Now I typically just send a booking link, and meetings get scheduled much faster with far fewer follow-ups. The timezone handling and reminders have also helped cut down on missed meetings and unnecessary rescheduling, which makes day-to-day scheduling feel a lot smoother overall. If you feel stuck setting up your account and templates, ask questions. Support is easy to work with and they know their program best. The interface continues to be a huge challenge for me. I have it synced with QuickBooks Online but overall do not find the user experience easy or enjoyable. I would want a simpler interface, better instructions and guidance as I use it. The initial setup was not very easy, it took me a while to figure out. I just started a business and was spinning in circles setting up a process to write customer agreements and collect payments. Anchor has both electronic agreements and payment processing integrated so I could put the services right in the proposal, and set how they should be billed. What do you dislike about Cal.com?

Their support is bad. There is a recent webhook issue with their API and the call identifier was not passed from their end. I've raised and followed-up with the issue multiple times. There is no follow-through on the matter and updates on whether the issue is resolved.

As you can imagine, the call identifier is important for me to use in my downstream automation and without that, everything breaks. The team is not professional in resolving the issue for me or know the severity of it all.

When followed-up again, their reply to me was "Can you test it out now?" or "These things take a bit of time but we will update you as soon as we line it up. It's been 19 hours since I reported the issue".

Our first day implementing Bill360 we had a customer use the "pay now" options and that is already a one time customer that we will not have to reach out to in order to get paid. Tabs is very user-friendly. The interface is clean and intuitive, which makes it easy to onboard both my team and clients without a steep learning curve. As a fractional CFO managing multiple clients, one of the biggest challenges is keeping invoicing and revenue recognition organized and accurate across different accounts without a ton of manual overhead. Tabs solves that by giving us a central, structured way to manage invoices and sync them with our accounting systems, which cuts down on the back-and-forth and manual data entry that used to eat up time. It's also made it easier to build automation around contract and purchase order processing, so instead of manually tracking deals and invoices in scattered documents, we have a more reliable, centralized system. What do you like best about Sequence?

The thing that’s stood out the most for us is how much of our quote-to-cash process is now in one place. Our pricing is usage-based and fairly involved, but Sequence handles it without us having to develop a bunch of workarounds. Building quotes using the CPQ module is intuitive, e-signature is built-in, and once a deal gets signed the billing schedules and invoices follow on naturally. The calendar is buggy and it doesn't offer me the option of seeing all the calendars of the whole office at the same time. I coordinate the schedule and I need to see everyone's availability. We keep practice info at our fingertips and use it to track time. I also like the task tracking and the ability to set up task flows that trigger the next step on completion of the previous. What do you dislike about Checkbook?

They were fine for a number of years but things dramatically changed this year. With one day notice they changed their processing timelines from 1 day to 3 days. They then had a series of errors that extended the 3 day fund hold to 6 days. They have done a terrible job of communicating, have been combative, and have turned into an awful partner. They are also, with no notice, instituting burdensome rules that I have not seen from other processors and offering no justification for those rules. My guess is that they had a major fraud incident.
