What do you like best about Calendly?

I mostly use Calendly for interviews, quick client calls, and follow-ups, and honestly it makes scheduling a lot less annoying. Before this, I used to coordinate times manually over email or Slack, and it ended up wasting more time than I expected especially when different time zones were involved.

The booking links are probably the most useful feature for me, because people can just pick an available slot directly without all the back-and-forth. I also like the reminders and buffer settings, since they help prevent overlapping meetings and reduce last-minute confusion. What do you dislike about Calendly?

One thing I’ve noticed is that calendar syncing can sometimes take a bit of time to update availability correctly. It doesn’t happen all the time, but during busier schedules I’ve run into a few cases where the timing didn’t reflect properly and I had to manually adjust it afterward.

Some of the routing and availability settings also felt a little confusing at first, especially when I was managing multiple meeting types at the same time. What problems is Calendly solving and how is that benefiting you?

Calendly has largely solved the constant back-and-forth scheduling problem for me. Before using it, I was manually coordinating times through messages, emails, and calendar checks, and it honestly got messy pretty quickly once multiple people were involved.

Now I typically just send a booking link, and meetings get scheduled much faster with far fewer follow-ups. The timezone handling and reminders have also helped cut down on missed meetings and unnecessary rescheduling, which makes day-to-day scheduling feel a lot smoother overall. When it comes to the app itself, although it's not perfect it delivers a lot a value and there are new features big and small coming up frequently. Clearly some small things are not as polished and there are some settings that are a bit buried and hard to find at times, however the main flows work perfectly. If you feel stuck setting up your account and templates, ask questions. Support is easy to work with and they know their program best. Ease of use! Extremely easy to use and quick to set up! Also provides reports to show who was getting the most visitors, etc. Customer support is definitely there if you do have difficulties. The ease of integration into our system was very helpful. Due to the frequency of use in our facility, the system matches our needs. What do you like best about Cal.com?

The flexibility of their API call, and how well documented they are. The UI/UX is also better than Calendly or other booking tools in my opinion Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Cal.com?

Their support is bad. There is a recent webhook issue with their API and the call identifier was not passed from their end. I've raised and followed-up with the issue multiple times. There is no follow-through on the matter and updates on whether the issue is resolved.

As you can imagine, the call identifier is important for me to use in my downstream automation and without that, everything breaks. The team is not professional in resolving the issue for me or know the severity of it all.

When followed-up again, their reply to me was "Can you test it out now?" or "These things take a bit of time but we will update you as soon as we line it up. It's been 19 hours since I reported the issue".

And I had to be the one who proactively followed-up with them. Until now I still did not get an updated. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I’m running into a few limitations: I can’t set global limits across booking types, and I can’t create a single booking type with variable session lengths (for example, letting someone book anywhere from 30 minutes to 2 hours instead of a fixed duration).
