What do you like best about RUN Powered by ADP?

I like the run portal interface. Prior to ADP I was using Paychex for payroll and am very happy with the ADP portal experience, it's much more user friendly and easier to get things done. Primarily, I use the payroll feature to run payroll and the reports. I like the payroll report package that is generated after each pay period, it contains everything I need to see. What do you dislike about RUN Powered by ADP?

The only thing that I miss from Paychex that ADP doesn't have is the 15 minute window of time that Paychex offers after submitting payroll to make any adjustments. It's a nice failsafe to have 15 minutes to go back and make an adjustment if you notice that something isn't right. Seems like this could be added into the software easily. The other issue that ADP might want to consider is having a dedicated representative for each account. This is something that Paychex offers that ADP does not. I primarily use the Run software and don't have to contact an agent frequently, but it would be nice to have a dedicated human to contact should the need arise. Sometimes if I'm entering a shift on the website in time tracking it will delete itself before I can finish it, so I have to start over. It seems like a technical glitch, so I'm not sure how to improve it exactly, but it causes time entry to take more time. Not the worst thing in the world but an inefficiency nonetheless. What do you like best about Xero?

We’ve used Xero for a number of clients, mainly UK-based, and the interface is genuinely quite clean compared with some other tools. It’s straight to navigate, even if you’re not in it every day.

What do you dislike about Xero?

The search feature isn’t very good compared to QBO. The Manual Journal interface isn’t great either, and recurring journals can be a bit tricky to set up and manage. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Xero solving and how is that benefiting you?

One thing that really good about is the integrations, especially with Gusto, Brex, and Mercury. The bill syncing from these platforms works really well and honestly saves a lot of time on the bookkeeping side. It reduces a lot of the manual work we’d otherwise have to do.

For us, it mainly helps in keeping client books more organized without spending too much time on initial setup. While trying to run a Time Clock kiosk on an iPad, it can be difficult to setup based on how Paycom requires a link to authenticate, then the active link changes. The calendar is buggy and it doesn't offer me the option of seeing all the calendars of the whole office at the same time. I coordinate the schedule and I need to see everyone's availability.
