What do you like best about Rippling?

What I like most about Rippling is the customer service and the platform itself. It's a close tie. The platform is very easy to use, and the icons are great, making it pretty self-explanatory. I was able to teach myself a lot of it. On top of this, the customer service has been amazing. I love that there is a question mark that lets you ask a chatbot at any time, day or night, and you get an automatic answer. It even leads you to video links on how to do something. If that doesn't work, it also gives me the option to talk to a live person through a Zoom call. The customer service aspect is outstanding, especially my benefits adviser or account manager and my Rippling account manager, who have been phenomenal in responding and answering any of my questions very timely. What do you dislike about Rippling?

What do you like best about Gusto?

As an employee who uses Gusto regularly, one of the things I appreciate most about the platform is how easy it makes it to access and manage important payroll information. I have been using it every year and it has always been helpful and reliable! Whether I need to review past paychecks, download pay stubs, access tax documents, or verify upcoming payments, everything is organized in a way that is intuitive and easy to navigate. I do not use payroll software every day, so having a platform that makes information readily accessible without requiring training is a major advantage.

Over the past year, I have also noticed continued improvements to the overall user experience. The dashboard is clean and straightforward, notifications are helpful without being overwhelming, and it is easy to find the information I need quickly. I especially appreciate having payroll records, tax forms, and benefits-related information centralized in one place rather than spread across multiple systems. The self-service functionality saves time and reduces the need to contact HR for routine requests.

Also, the breakdown of earnings, deductions, taxes, and benefits is clear and easy to understand. Having immediate access to historical records is particularly useful when preparing financial documents, vis applications, or reviewing compensation information. For me, it has eliminated the confusion and delays around pay stub access, paycheck tracking, and understanding payment schedules. I no longer have to guess when I am getting paid or dig through emails or HR portals to find old pay stubs, everything is centralized and easy to access.

One major benefit has been the ability to generate customized reports and export exactly the information I need for things like housing applications or visa paperwork. Gusto’s built-in reporting tools let me filter what I need, and when something is not obvious, customer support is right there to help. I use Deel Payroll mainly to receive payments. What I really like about Deel Payroll is how quick and easy it is to use. It's as quick as a couple of minutes for the payment I receive to be transferred to the Deel card, and I can use it instantly as a contactless payment option. What do you dislike about Deel Payroll?

The commission that they charge to withdraw my funds to my bank account is about 16%. That is incredibly high. I'd like to withdraw the funds to one of my bank accounts which gives me interests, but 16% is too much so I just keep it in the Deel card. What do you like best about AutoLeap?

I like the access I have to service information through AutoLeap, and the simple and easy format used to make work orders. The direct parts ordering system is also a plus. It makes AutoLeap valuable because I can do almost everything within one program, instead of having multiple tabs open and navigating a bunch of pages. I can pretty much find everything within. I also like the live help chat on AutoLeap for when I need help figuring something out on the website. The setup was straightforward, and having the live chat was helpful as I got used to it. What do you dislike about AutoLeap?

I do feel the parts ordering aspect can get confusing sometimes and not always work the way I would hope. Sometimes when trying to order parts through AutoLeap, the portal to the supplier's website doesn't always work properly. Another thing I would like to see is the ability to save and print tax reports and other statements as a PDF. For the info we give to the accountants, it only lets us export to Excel. Since we’re a transmission shop, we use the canned jobs and sell the transmission as a complete unit. For inventory purposes, it would be helpful to track the cost and the specific parts we used to build it, without generating a huge parts list for the customer. I really appreciate how easy it is to navigate Stampli. Its setup provides a very user-friendly experience when reviewing invoices. The information is presented clearly and is straightforward to follow. I also found the initial setup process to be very quick, which was a big plus for me. Navigating the viewing features is simple, and I like that you can download or print documents directly from the review page.

The Dashboards and reports page is another valuable aspect for business use. Having all the information consolidated in one place makes searching for and locating what you need incredibly easy.

Customer support is excellent as well. The team is always available and quick to assist, making it easy to reach out whenever you need help. They are dedicated to resolving any issues effectively and efficiently.

Overall, I thoroughly enjoy using Stampli for business invoicing. I use this software daily and have become very proficient with it. I love how BILL AP/AR enables me to easily process and receive electronic payments. It saves a lot of time since I don't have to print and mail checks or go to the bank to deposit checks. I also find that it speeds up our Accounts Receivable process significantly when clients pay electronically, which helps with cash flow. The interface continues to be a huge challenge for me. I have it synced with QuickBooks Online but overall do not find the user experience easy or enjoyable. I think because of this I have not dug deeper into the features or how else I could be using it. I do not feel that it's really clear what it's doing or how it's set up. I would want a simpler interface, better instructions and guidance as I use it. The initial setup was not very easy, it took me a while to figure out. I like how I can set up different services and add them to each respective agreement. I like that I can create templates for agreements and reuse them. It's all in one place, making it easier to keep track of the agreed scope of work, billing, and terms of agreement. The income is deposited pretty quickly once billing takes place. a more customizable proposal so that my brand and the particular sections I want are included. It'd be nice to just build a document with my logo and even font. I'd like to have an intro, maybe a section where there are different levels and the client can select what services they want, then pop in with timeline to get started, terms and conditions, etc. Some steps can be a little confusing as far as editing services or editing agreements and ensuring the agreement is signed but then billing can start immediately or at a certain date. What I like best about HROne is that it brings all employee-related information and HR processes into one platform. I use it regularly for attendance tracking, punch-in/punch-out, leave applications, and reimbursement claims, which makes these tasks quick and convenient. It also provides easy access to payslips, tax and PF documents, leave balances, holiday calendars, and HR policies without needing to contact HR. What do you like best about BambooHR?

I like the small touches like the confetti that goes over updates for birthdays and anniversaries. I like how easy it is to book time off, and track you annual leave across the year. If we didn't have Bamboo HR it would take a lot of work for me to track my allowance, I could easily loose track as well. I like that when I submit my feedback for my quarterly performancethat it doesn't show my manager straight away and vice versa. It can be difficult to have honest conversations if we have time to prep / rehearse versus speaking off the cuff and in the moment. It loads quickly. It was easy to get setup on when I first joined which helped my onboarding run smoothly. I have not used any AI or integrations, i'm not sure I would find them useful or they would add to what I already use it for. I'm happy with my paycheck being on xero, it feels more secure so I don't think i would want an integration with bamboohr for that. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about BambooHR?

I was disappointed to find that when I went to look art prior month's pay, it still displayed the amount of hours of the current month. That was initially confusing.

As I stated before, what bothers me the most is that i am unable to label each line in some way. I would be delighted if I were able to put two initials to designate with whom I had spent that hour. The calendar is buggy and it doesn't offer me the option of seeing all the calendars of the whole office at the same time. I coordinate the schedule and I need to see everyone's availability. What do you like best about Tabs?

What I like best about Tabs is how much it actually simplifies the messy parts of billing that used to take up way too much time. The UI is clean and intuitive, so I can jump in, generate invoices, or adjust billing terms without hunting around. I especially appreciate how flexible it is—handling things like custom pricing or mid-contract changes doesn’t turn into a manual workaround anymore.

The integrations have been a big win too. Everything syncs cleanly with our other systems, which has cut down a lot of the back-and-forth and reconciliation work we used to deal with. It’s also just fast and reliable—I don’t have to worry about delays when running invoices or pulling reports.

What I dislike about Tabs is less about major flaws and more about the typical friction that comes with implementing a powerful billing system.

On the UI/UX side, while it’s clean overall, there are moments where more advanced workflows (like complex contract configurations or edge-case billing rules) aren’t as intuitive and require a bit of trial and error. There’s definitely a learning curve once you move beyond the basics.

Integrations have been solid, but getting everything mapped correctly during the initial setup took time. Aligning data between systems—especially if your CRM or accounting setup isn’t perfectly structured—can require extra effort and validation upfront.

From a performance standpoint, it’s generally reliable, but large data operations (like bulk updates or historical adjustments) can occasionally feel a bit heavy.

Pricing-wise, like most billing platforms, it’s an investment. The ROI is there, but it becomes clearer over time as you scale and fully utilize the platform. Early on, it can feel like you’re paying for more capability than you immediately need.

Onboarding and support are helpful, but implementation still requires internal alignment.

For AI and intelligence features, while useful, they still feel like they’re evolving. Overall, most of the downsides are tied to the complexity of billing itself rather than Tabs specifically, but it does mean there’s some upfront effort required to get everything running smoothly. What problems is Tabs solving and how is that benefiting you?

Tabs is solving the biggest pain point we had with billing—too many manual processes stitched together across different tools. Before, we were juggling spreadsheets, our CRM, and our accounting system just to get invoices out the door and make sure everything tied correctly. Now it’s all centralized, which has made a huge difference in both speed and accuracy.

For me personally, the biggest benefit is how much time it’s saved during each billing cycle. What used to take hours of double-checking formulas and reconciling data now happens in a much more streamlined way. The UI makes it easy to see exactly what’s going on with each customer, and I don’t have to dig through multiple systems to get answers.

The integrations have also been a big part of that improvement. Data flows more cleanly between systems, so we’re not constantly fixing mismatches or chasing down discrepancies. That alone has reduced a lot of back-and-forth internally.

Performance-wise, it’s reliable enough that I don’t have to think about it—it just works when we need it to, especially during critical billing runs. And from a ROI standpoint, it’s been worth it just based on time savings and fewer errors, which ultimately impacts revenue accuracy.

Support and onboarding helped us get to that point faster than expected, especially on the scheduling side of things. There’s still effort required on our side, but having guidance on how to structure things properly made a difference.

One thing I didn’t expect to rely on as much is the AI layer—it saves us a lot of time. And having our contracts easily accessible is a nice benefit.
