The look and feel of the website page. At least 1/3 of the page is occupied by dead space. The next 1/3 is helpful. That leaves the bottom 1/3 of the page for going through your expense line items for review. The only point of the page is to review the line items and it reduces and truncates them down to the bottom 1/3 of the page. You cannot re-size the area and the scrolling jumps several line items at a time when trying to scroll up or down. Same story for the travel component . Too much useless space that cannot be shrunk or resized so you can access the portion of the page that you need to work with the data. First contact support, e.g. through chat, is not generally very helpful. Which I get - they can triage and open up a case with the correct department and more specialized experts, but sometimes frustrating when you're hoping for a quick answer to what seems like a straightforward question. While it's good at what it does, it's a complex system whose user interface isn't very intuitive at all. The steps aren't precise, and typically a lot of mistakes with entries. I find SAP Concur incredibly useful because of its instant receipt capture feature. It's fast and convenient, ensuring I don't have to worry about misplacing receipts. The ability to charge to different cost centers or split costs is very handy, and having a comment section for logging notes on expenses enhances the process. I find it difficult to attach a receipt to a specific report if it's not already linked to a charge. I try to keep receipts under their specific reports instead of just logged in the receipt area before attaching them. The best thing is integration with my company’s credit card which makes importing expenses on the card automatic and I am able to easily identify them and classify them with a simple drop-down box. The mobile receipt uploading is excellent which speeds up the expense reporting significantly. As an IT employee from more than 3 year of experience ,I really appreciate how SAP Concur streamlines the whole expense management process. I use it regularly to submit my travel and business expenses, and it’s very convenient to capture receipts directly from my phone. The OCR feature automatically reads details like date and amount, which saves a lot of manual typing. I also like that it syncs with our company’s travel bookings and corporate cards, so all expenses come in automatically and I just have to review and categorize them. The interface could definitely be improved. Sometimes it feels outdated and not as intuitive as modern software. With the mobile app I can post my expense in just a few clicks and it’s very quick and easy to keep all of my expenses in one place. I was amazed at how simple flight booking process is and I like that it has all the features that are helpful for travel expenses logging.
