## SAP Concur Reviews
 ### 1. Powerful, but Click-Heavy: SAP Concur Needs a More Intuitive Experience

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Elizabeth M. | Contractor, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 18, 2026

**What do you like best about SAP Concur?**

SAP Concur is one of those tools people tend to appreciate most when it’s doing its job quietly in the background—especially in companies where travel and expenses can get messy fast.

What I’d say stands out most about it:

Its biggest strength is how it centralises everything—expenses, receipts, travel bookings, and approvals—in one system. Instead of chasing receipts or dealing with spreadsheets, everything flows through a single approval pipeline, which reduces admin friction for both employees and finance teams.

People also tend to like the mobile receipt capture. You can snap a photo of a receipt on the go and it’s already in the system, which makes expense reports far less painful than the old “collect everything at month-end” approach.

On the company side, finance teams usually value the compliance controls and policy enforcement. It helps flag out-of-policy spending automatically, which reduces manual checking.

The main criticism you’ll hear, just to keep it balanced, is that it can feel a bit clunky or complex at first—especially if an organisation hasn’t configured it well or users aren’t trained properly.

**What do you dislike about SAP Concur?**

With SAP Concur, the criticisms usually don’t come from the idea of the system, but from how it feels to use in practice.

The most common complaint is that it can feel unintuitive and a bit “click-heavy.” Simple things like submitting an expense report can involve more steps than users expect, especially compared to newer, more streamlined apps. If a company hasn’t configured it well, that complexity becomes even more noticeable.

Another downside is performance and interface design. Some users find it dated or cluttered, particularly when switching between travel booking, expense claims, and approvals. It’s powerful, but not always elegant.

There’s also the issue of strict policy enforcement. While finance teams like this, employees sometimes feel it’s rigid—small mistakes (wrong category, missing field, slightly non-compliant receipt) can trigger rework or rejection, which adds frustration.

Integration and setup can be another pain point on the admin side. It works well once fully implemented, but getting it aligned with payroll, accounting systems, and company policies can take time and expertise.

**What problems is SAP Concur solving and how is that benefiting you?**

With SAP Concur, the problems it’s mainly designed to solve are around expense chaos, lack of visibility, and slow manual processes in companies that handle a lot of travel and spending.

One big problem it solves is disconnected expense tracking. Without a system like this, employees submit receipts in spreadsheets or emails, and finance teams have to reconcile everything manually. Concur brings it all into one workflow so expenses, receipts, and approvals are tied together.

Another is policy enforcement and compliance. Companies often struggle with inconsistent spending rules being followed. Concur automatically flags or blocks out-of-policy claims, which reduces errors and prevents overspending before it happens rather than catching it later.

It also solves slow reimbursement cycles. When expenses are submitted digitally and routed automatically for approval, employees typically get reimbursed faster compared to manual systems that sit in inboxes or get delayed.

For businesses, the benefit is mostly better financial control and visibility—they can see spending trends in real time, control budgets more tightly, and reduce fraud or accidental misuse.

For employees, the benefit is more practical: less paperwork, easier receipt capture (just upload from a phone), and a clearer process for getting money back without chasing managers or finance teams.

So overall, the value is less about “doing something new” and more about removing friction and manual work from a process that used to be messy and slow.

 ### 2. Centralizes expenses — effective, but room to improve

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Nerea B. | Project Coordinator, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 29, 2026

**What do you like best about SAP Concur?**

SAP Concur is helpful because it centralizes expense reporting and makes the process more structured and traceable. I like that receipts, approvals, and reimbursement status can all be managed in one place, which reduces the need for back-and-forth emails and makes it easier to keep records organized. The mobile app is also useful for uploading receipts quickly while traveling or working remotely.

**What do you dislike about SAP Concur?**

SAP Concur can feel less intuitive than expected, especially when correcting errors or trying to understand why an expense has been flagged. Some steps can be repetitive, and the interface is not always very user-friendly when uploading receipts, matching transactions, or navigating approvals. It is helpful overall, but it can take more time than it should for simple expense claims.

**What problems is SAP Concur solving and how is that benefiting you?**

SAP Concur helps solve the business problem of managing expenses in a more consistent, centralized, and traceable way. It reduces the need to manage receipts, approvals, and reimbursements through separate emails or manual files. This benefits me by making it easier to submit expenses, track where they are in the approval process, and keep records organized for finance and audit purposes.

 ### 3. Great travel booking and hotel comparisons, but slow and error-prone at times

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** faye M. | Revenue Operations Specialist, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 08, 2026

**What do you like best about SAP Concur?**

You can book travel without having to claim back expenses from finance. It compares hotel rates and displays a map for better viability. The pricing can be better than booking.com etc.

**What do you dislike about SAP Concur?**

Sometimes it can be slow, not very user friendly. Brings up a lot of errors. Booking trains can be very time consuming and hard to figure out. Doesn't let you choose a seat.

**What problems is SAP Concur solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It allows finance to have screenshots of all receipts and confirmations. This reduces a lot of manual effort. It allows me as a manager to have control over what my employees are spending.

 ### 4. Easy invoicing, but click-heavy workflows

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** ALM S. | IT Services, Education Management, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 21, 2026

**What do you like best about SAP Concur?**

I like that its very easy invoices and data entry , simple to use , curently checking the pricing to decide if its a keep based on our budget and use.

**What do you dislike about SAP Concur?**

Click-Heavy Workflows: Simple tasks like uploading a receipt require multiple clicks and forms.Glitchy Mobile App: Recent app updates have made it harder to save files and snap photos.Slow Performance: Large expense reports often cause severe page loading delays.Steep Learning Curve:

**What problems is SAP Concur solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Enforces Rules Automatically: Blocks out-of-policy expenses (like alcohol or luxury hotels) before submission.Prevents Duplicate Claims: Scans receipts to ensure employees do not submit the same expense twice.Flags Suspicious Activity: Uses AI to detect artificial price inflation or non-business items.

 ### 5. Gets Expenses Done, but Concur’s Interface and Receipt Handling Need UX Work

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** David M. | Senior Manager of Applications, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 17, 2026

**What do you like best about SAP Concur?**

It does seem to get the job done. I submit receipts to accounting and they get stuff paid. You can start working on your expense report before it's due and save your progress, so that it's not one big piece of with at the end.

It also keeps track of certain vendors and what account you should code them to

**What do you dislike about SAP Concur?**

Concur has a bit of an odd interface. Receipt images are saved and uploaded in a weird way. Making and keeping track of reports always seems idiomatic and not intuitive. As a developer myself, I'd say the application needs some investment in UX.

**What problems is SAP Concur solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use Concur for submitting expense reports for corporate credit cards. I've never had a problem getting that basic requirement done. You can also email receipts and have them get imported automatically.

 ### 6. Automates Expenses Well, but Overall Experience Needs Improvement

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ignacio C. | Finance manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 22, 2026

**What do you like best about SAP Concur?**

What I like best about SAP Concur is that it simplifies travel and expense management by automating receipt capture, expense reporting, and approvals. It saves time, reduces manual work, and makes reimbursements much easier

**What do you dislike about SAP Concur?**

SAP Concur can be frustrating for end users because it feels clunky, slow, and overly complex. Receipt uploads and auto-fill are not always reliable, and simple expense tasks can take too many steps

**What problems is SAP Concur solving and how is that benefiting you?**

SAP Concur solves the problem of manual, messy travel and expense management by automating receipts, expense reports, approvals, and integration with finance systems. That benefits you by saving time, improving accuracy, increasing visibility into spend, and making reimbursements and compliance easier.

 ### 7. Powerful Compliance and Reporting, But a Dated, Click-Heavy User Experience

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 25, 2026

**What do you like best about SAP Concur?**

I've used SAP Concur for expense management and found it to be a robust platform with strong controls and reporting capabilities, particularly for larger organisations. The receipt capture functionality and automated workflows help streamline the expense process, and it integrates well with wider finance systems.

That said, the user experience can feel quite dated and unintuitive at times. Simple tasks often require multiple clicks, and navigating the platform isn't always straightforward, especially for infrequent users. There can also be delays in syncing information and occasional frustrations with approval workflows.

Overall, SAP Concur is a powerful tool from a compliance and governance perspective, but there is room for improvement when it comes to usability and the overall employee experience. It does the job well, but it isn't always the most user-friendly expense platform available.

**What do you dislike about SAP Concur?**

I've used SAP Concur for expense management and found it to be a capable platform with strong reporting, compliance controls and approval workflows. It works well for managing expenses at scale and provides good visibility for both employees and finance teams.

However, there were several aspects I found frustrating from a user perspective. The interface feels dated and isn't particularly intuitive, meaning simple tasks can often take longer than expected. Uploading receipts and creating expense claims can involve multiple steps, and navigating between different sections of the platform isn't always straightforward. I also experienced occasional issues with syncing receipts and delays in approval workflows, which could make tracking submissions more difficult than it should be.

Overall, SAP Concur is a powerful and reliable expense management tool, but the user experience could be significantly improved. While it delivers well on governance and control, it lacks the simplicity and ease of use offered by some more modern alternatives.

**What problems is SAP Concur solving and how is that benefiting you?**

SAP Concur is helping to solve the challenge of managing employee expenses in a consistent, compliant and auditable way. Prior to using the platform, expense submissions were more manual, making it harder to track claims, ensure policy compliance and maintain visibility over spending.

The main benefit has been having a centralised system that allows employees to submit expenses, attach receipts and track approvals in one place. It has also improved oversight for finance teams by providing clearer reporting and helping to ensure expenses are processed in line with company policy.

That said, whilst SAP Concur addresses these operational challenges effectively, some of the efficiency gains are offset by the user experience. The platform can feel cumbersome to navigate and completing expense claims can take longer than expected. However, from a governance, compliance and financial control perspective, it provides a structured process that reduces administrative burden and improves visibility of company spend.

 ### 8. Streamlined Expense Management with Some Hiccups

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Gaurav S. | Data Analyst - Marketing Function, Information Technology and Services, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 17, 2026

**What do you like best about SAP Concur?**

SAP Concur has recently introduced several useful updates, mainly focused on automation and user experience. The biggest highlight is AI-powered features (like SAP’s Joule copilot), which help in auto-creating expense reports, detecting errors, and improving compliance. The platform now offers a cleaner, modern UI, better mobile functionality, and smarter travel planning with cost estimates and policy checks before booking. Overall, these enhancements reduce manual work, improve accuracy, and make expense and travel management faster and more efficient.

**What do you dislike about SAP Concur?**

SAP Concur can improve in a few key areas such as simplifying its user interface, reducing the number of steps in expense workflows, and improving system speed and reliability. Additionally, better integrations with modern tools and more transparent pricing would enhance the overall user experience.

**What problems is SAP Concur solving and how is that benefiting you?**

SAP Concur centralizes and streamlines expense and travel management, reducing manual errors and delays. It allows efficient data capture, tracking expenses in real time, and submitting reports without spreadsheets. This saves time and organizes data well, replacing manual methods.

 ### 9. Simple, Standardized Workflow—But Could Use More Receipt Automation

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jack B. | Senior Business Analyst, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 10, 2026

**What do you like best about SAP Concur?**

its simple and standarzied. It makes it clear what I need to do. I can also easily see all my expenses listed out for me neatly and track the staus of my reports over time. I can also easily find old requests.

**What do you dislike about SAP Concur?**

I wish it could be more automated -- i.e. upload receipt and it reads the information therein. I am doing a lot of manual work that in theory should be easy to automate.

**What problems is SAP Concur solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It's enabling me to submit expenses and be reimbursed in a single quick process. It routes my expenses to the proper authorities and notifies me as my request goes through different stages in the process. This way I know if my request hit a roadblock.

 ### 10. Effortless Expense Management with Room for AI Enhancement

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Courtney G. | Manager, Sales Marketing, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 31, 2026

**What do you like best about SAP Concur?**

I like the ability to easily upload receipts and track expense history with SAP Concur. The UI is quite simple if you know the process and corporate policies, which I find helpful. I also appreciate how easy it was to set up initially, just by downloading the app on my phone and being able to authenticate via my SSO login. Having SAP Concur on my phone allows for convenient on-the-go usage, which is a big plus for me.

**What do you dislike about SAP Concur?**

The amount of fields that need to be filled out. AI could help read receipts and bucket it into a certain category instead of having to manually fill out all fields.

**What problems is SAP Concur solving and how is that benefiting you?**

SAP Concur simplifies expense management by allowing me to get reimbursed for personal expenses, easily upload receipts, and track expense history. The UI is simple with process knowledge, and having it on my phone makes on-the-go usage convenient.

 ### 11. Automation Helps, But SAP Concur Needs Improvement Overall

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Hospitality | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 02, 2026

**What do you like best about SAP Concur?**

SAP Concur streamlines travel and expense management with automation, making it easy to track, submit, and approve expenses efficiently. SAP Concur streamlines travel and expense management with automation, making it easy to track, submit, and approve expenses efficiently.

**What do you dislike about SAP Concur?**

One aspect I dislike about SAP Concur is that the user interface can sometimes feel outdated and unintuitive, especially for new users. Navigating through different menus and locating specific features may require a learning curve, which can slow down the expense reporting process. While the platform offers many powerful capabilities, some workflows involve multiple steps that could be simplified to improve efficiency. Occasionally, receipt uploads and expense categorization may require manual adjustments, which reduces the benefits of automation. The mobile app is useful, but there can be inconsistencies between the mobile and desktop experiences, making certain tasks easier to complete on one platform than the other. Additionally, system performance can sometimes be slower when processing reports or loading large amounts of data. Although SAP Concur is a comprehensive solution for travel and expense management, improvements to usability, speed, and overall user experience would make it more effective and enjoyable to use on a daily basis.

**What problems is SAP Concur solving and how is that benefiting you?**

SAP Concur solves the challenge of managing business travel, expenses, and reimbursements in a streamlined and organized way. It eliminates the need for manual expense tracking, paper receipts, and lengthy approval processes by automating many of these tasks. This helps reduce errors, improves compliance with company policies, and provides greater visibility into spending. For me, the biggest benefit is the time saved when creating and submitting expense reports. The ability to upload receipts digitally and track reimbursement status in one place makes the process more convenient and transparent. It also simplifies travel management by integrating bookings and expenses, reducing administrative work and allowing me to focus more on my core responsibilities rather than managing paperwork.

 ### 12. Efficient Payroll Management, But UI Needs Improvement

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mohammed A. | Senior Payroll Associate , Apparel & Fashion, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 18, 2026

**What do you like best about SAP Concur?**

I like how SAP Concur keeps payroll-related data structured and easy to track. It reduces manual effort and makes processing more accurate, with less back-and-forth. It helps streamline a lot of payroll-related processes, especially when it comes to handling employee expenses and reimbursements. Everything is captured in one place, which makes it easier to validate, process, and include in payroll accurately. It also reduces errors and ensures better compliance since all the data is properly documented and tracked.

**What do you dislike about SAP Concur?**

One area that could be improved is the user interface—it’s not always very intuitive and can take time to navigate, especially when handling multiple records. Also, some processes feel a bit slow or require extra steps, which can be frustrating when working with tight payroll timelines. The heavy reliance on transaction codes to access different functions can get quite hectic, having to remember or look up multiple codes just to navigate to specific screens. The initial setup wasn’t very straightforward and there's a learning curve, especially with understanding different transaction codes and how various processes are linked. It can feel overwhelming without proper training or guidance.

**What problems is SAP Concur solving and how is that benefiting you?**

SAP Concur streamlines payroll processes, handles employee expenses and reimbursements, reduces errors, ensures better compliance, and makes data easy to validate and track.

 ### 13. Useful Expense Tracking but Needs an Updated Interface

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ashley M. | Contracts Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 18, 2026

**What do you like best about SAP Concur?**

I like the ability to upload everything from a mobile phone with SAP Concur. Whether employees are using iPhones or other non-Apple devices, they can upload their expenses through the app no matter where they are and what devices they have on hand. This feature is very useful because when we're traveling, it's helpful to easily snap a photo and upload expenses while on the move to ensure they don't get lost.

**What do you dislike about SAP Concur?**

The interface of SAP Concur isn't the most sleek or slick; it's a little dated and sometimes it can be clunky or time out. Although the mobile features are appreciated, they come with glitches, requiring us to upload several times to get it to take on occasion. Also, we've had experiences of expenses getting mis allocated or misclassified through the app.

**What problems is SAP Concur solving and how is that benefiting you?**

SAP Concur lets our team track expenses, receive reimbursements, and helps me manage budgets and policy alignment. The mobile app is crucial as it allows expense uploads on the go, preventing data loss and ensuring compliance.

 ### 14. Great ERP, But Missing Key Improvements

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Dan . | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 21, 2026

**What do you like best about SAP Concur?**

Great program that's user friendly and really helps with day to day operations and also provides a great ERP system for many different business functions

**What do you dislike about SAP Concur?**

I still feel there are a lot of bugs and glitches in the system. It’s not horrible to deal with, but it’s also not ideal, and it definitely could use some improvement.

**What problems is SAP Concur solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Solving our day to day tasks is very beneficial and we love the impact its created so far. It makes day to day operations a lot smoother and we don't.

 ### 15. Cuts Paperwork and Mundane Tasks, Though There’s Room to Grow

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Elton W. | CEO, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 24, 2026

**What do you like best about SAP Concur?**

I do like that it eliminates paperwork.... and cuts down mundane tasks. Defiantly helps with travel and organizing trips for employees. I especially like it speeds up reimbursement times.

**What do you dislike about SAP Concur?**

I feel like the mobile app could warrant some improvements, Some of the tools are slow and make the experience a chore and not a ease of mind. I would say not as good as some of their competitors.

**What problems is SAP Concur solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I feel it is definitely cutting down on expense reporting time. The benefits allow my team to move on to other pending processes which allow more productivity to occur.

 ### 16. Customizable and Easy to Adjust, But Usability Needs Improvement

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Margot D. | Senior Technical Commercial Consultant, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 17, 2026

**What do you like best about SAP Concur?**

I like that it's relatively easy to make adjustments in the pricing, and it's very customizable. With my company, we often make a lot of changes, and it's nice that it's not a big deal to go in and make changes to the sales order. We can add a new line item if needed, or make changes to the existing line items to best serve our customers.

**What do you dislike about SAP Concur?**

I hate that the typing is very difficult. There's no such thing as space in the line item descriptions. Most of the time, I have to rewrite the whole thing because everything gets overwritten very easily, and it's very annoying. I still have a hard time using SAP.

**What problems is SAP Concur solving and how is that benefiting you?**

SAP Concur helps me track and document sales orders efficiently, allowing my company to generate invoices and link them to the actual work being done.

 ### 17. Limited Capabilities Hold Back the Offer

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Natousha S. | Senior Administrator HR Compliance & Audits, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 17, 2026

**What do you like best about SAP Concur?**

A few things that stand out is the ease of using the tool, expense report management system is simple to process and complete. I also appreciate the timely updates and reminders they system has

**What do you dislike about SAP Concur?**

What I like least about SAP Concur is the slow loading time and the difficulties I have with receipt management. It can also be complicated to work with when dealing with complex expense reporting

**What problems is SAP Concur solving and how is that benefiting you?**

At the moment there are no problems that I have with SAP Concur solving. However I can foresee streamlining the T&E process and ensuring compliance with the product

 ### 18. Effective Expense Management with Room for Improvement

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ramona S. | Content Marketing Manager, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 17, 2026

**What do you like best about SAP Concur?**

I used SAP Concur for corporate expense reimbursement, and it really helped remote team members like myself submit expense reports and get reimbursed in our paychecks. I found it to be thorough and liked how it was easy to specify the expense area. In remote culture, where it's sometimes hard to explain why something was a necessary expense, the options make it easier to share that information effectively. The initial setup was pretty simple, as the company took care of it and sent us invites.

**What do you dislike about SAP Concur?**

It was a little technical; not necessarily user-friendly. I would prefer simpler language or help text and fewer dropdowns.

**What problems is SAP Concur solving and how is that benefiting you?**

SAP Concur helps remote team members submit expense reports and get reimbursed easily, making it simpler to specify and explain necessary expenses.

 ### 19. Effective Expense Management with Slight UI Improvements Needed

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Vini N. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 11, 2026

**What do you like best about SAP Concur?**

I like SAP Concur for its granular logging, which allows me to specify different avenues of spend, like office supplies, business trips, and client meetings. The receipt upload feature is particularly helpful as it makes it easy to upload receipts and extract information, reducing manual work. I also found the initial setup to be simple.

**What do you dislike about SAP Concur?**

The UI could be a little clearer.

**What problems is SAP Concur solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use SAP Concur for logging all expenses in one space and budget management. It helps me specify different spending categories and makes uploading receipts easy, which simplifies information extraction and reduces manual work.

 ### 20. Intuitive and Supportive, but Needs Faster Reporting

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Dominika T. | Cybersecurity Engineer - Data Protection, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 11, 2026

**What do you like best about SAP Concur?**

I like how easy it is to use SAP Concur. The support of the tool is great as it helps resolve any issues that come up. I also appreciate how simple it is to integrate SAP Concur with SAP ERP, which reduces the effort of moving data manually. The intuitive interface means there's no need to think too much about finding features.

**What do you dislike about SAP Concur?**

Sometimes submitting reports takes too much time. There are errors in the app happening when submitting reports that should be reduced with urgent manner.

**What problems is SAP Concur solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use SAP Concur for integrating expenses and having visibility. It reduces manual effort of tracking costs across systems. It's easy to use, well-supported, and integrates with SAP ERP to reduce manual data movement.

 ### 21. Travel and Expense experience

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Tom M. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 12, 2026

**What do you like best about SAP Concur?**

I like the landing page where you can select either managing an expense or creating a new trip. Easy to navigate and I like seeing it all in one place

**What do you dislike about SAP Concur?**

The flight selection is difficult. I have a hard time picking flights or accessing different options. It is not as intuitive or user friendly as other online tools.

**What problems is SAP Concur solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Unified platform for managing expenses, clarity into the types of expenses and who is driving them. Like the one stop shop component. Don't have to jump between solutions.

 ### 22. Wonky UX and Clunky Tab Navigation

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Higher Education | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 17, 2026

**What do you like best about SAP Concur?**

I like that it helps me calculate mileage fairly easily once I enter my starting location and destination. I also appreciate that it lets me book outside Concur, since I’ve heard from others about the challenges of booking everything, flights and hotels, within Concur. From what I hear, those options often don’t align with conference needs and seem to focus mainly on whichever item costs less, even if the difference is only marginal.

**What do you dislike about SAP Concur?**

The user experience felt a bit wonky. It was hard to navigate from one tab to another, for example, I had to keep going back to the travel management section just to figure out the per diem. It would have been much more helpful if everything were in the same place, maybe just different tabs.

**What problems is SAP Concur solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I don't know what problems SAP Concur identified as trying to solve, also as of a few months, we no longer have Concur, so whatever they may improve now will not directly benefit me any longer.

 ### 23. Great Organization Tool, Needs Better AI Accuracy

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Emmanuel M. | Online Evangelism Innovator, Religious Institutions, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 23, 2025

**What do you like best about SAP Concur?**

I really find the SAP Concur mobile app very helpful because I can use it to scan receipts right away after making a purchase, which is really helpful for keeping organized. I also appreciate being able to review the spending of specific people to make sure they're spending accurately and wisely on company expenses. Another feature I really like is being able to reimburse personal charges that needed to be put on mid-kind of business extent, and getting those submitted and reimbursed has been really helpful. I also like that SAP Concur helps us keep all of our receipts in order.

**What do you dislike about SAP Concur?**

The AI features in SAP Concur that predict spending categories aren't very accurate. Sometimes they're okay, but more often than not, they're not accurate. I have to review each line item to make sure they aren't incorrect, which is kind of frustrating. Also, the way reports are put together could be improved.

**What problems is SAP Concur solving and how is that benefiting you?**

SAP Concur helps me track credit card spending, categorize expenses, and ensure we stay within budget. It allows our supervisors to review spending, keeping us organized. The mobile app makes scanning and organizing receipts easy.

 ### 24. Great for Large Organizations, Less Value for Smaller Teams

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Financial Services | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 21, 2026

**What do you like best about SAP Concur?**

It is a good solution for bigger organizations where you can adjust settings and access rights accordingly and e.g. combine with cost centers and entities.

**What do you dislike about SAP Concur?**

For smaller organizations there is no value in setting up SAP Concur. Usually the number of operations is relatively small and can be solved through other solutions

**What problems is SAP Concur solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It was rolled out as a global solution for 10K+ employees around the world. Thanks to the configuration options it works well in global setting and allows integration with other SAP modules

 ### 25. User-Friendly, But Needs More Improvements

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Christie V. | Community Manager, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 17, 2026

**What do you like best about SAP Concur?**

The software was user-friendly. I liked that it had so many fields prefilled, so all I needed to add was the receipt. Booking trips and inputting mileage reimbursement was a cinch.

**What do you dislike about SAP Concur?**

I wish the platform would send an email every time a purchase is made, or provide an email address where I could forward receipts instead of having to scan, download, and upload each receipt.

**What problems is SAP Concur solving and how is that benefiting you?**

No problems at this time. I’ve never had an issue with SAP Concur. It’s a great platform and very user-friendly overall. The only drawback for me has been having to upload each receipt individually, and not always being notified about purchases.

 ### 26. Easy to Use, but No Longer Needed After Changing Jobs

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Klaudia B. | Court Secretary, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 19, 2026

**What do you like best about SAP Concur?**

It was really easy and intuitive to use. Thanks to the program, I was able to get my travel expenses reimbursed quickly. The add-on that lets you attach a PDF of the expense is helpful as well.

**What do you dislike about SAP Concur?**

I don’t see any downsides to using SAP Concur, or at least I can’t remember any. I also haven’t used the program in the past three years since I changed jobs, because it isn’t required in my current position.

**What problems is SAP Concur solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As I mentioned in my previous answers, I mainly used SAP Concur to reimburse my coworkers’ travel expenses. Its simplicity made the process quick and easy for me.

 ### 27. Solid Travel Booking, Needs Expense Module Refinement

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Maria Isabel A.

**Reviewed Date:** December 21, 2025

**What do you like best about SAP Concur?**

I like that everything is done in one platform with SAP Concur. It automates booking by providing travel options that we would otherwise have to search for. I find the travel booking feature particularly valuable.

**What do you dislike about SAP Concur?**

I find the expense claim module a bit unstable. There are errors that pop up on and off, and it's hard to figure out if they're user errors or system errors. It's also not always showing the expense categories for some users, which means I have to find a workaround to submit claims. Plus, I have to submit receipts per invoice. Approvers can't edit claims from their direct reports, which causes multiple back-and-forth fixes. The initial setup was time-consuming, especially dealing with taxes and errors that sometimes get fixed, only to reappear later.

**What problems is SAP Concur solving and how is that benefiting you?**

SAP Concur automates travel booking by providing options we’d otherwise search for, all on one platform.

 ### 28. Streamlines Expense Tracking, But Interface Needs Improvement

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mahsooq K. | Consultant, Information Technology and Services, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 02, 2025

**What do you like best about SAP Concur?**

SAP Concur makes it easier to manage and track business expenses in one place. I like that it integrates directly with corporate cards like Amex, automatically pulling in transactions for reimbursement. Once everything is set up properly, it helps streamline expense reporting and approvals.

**What do you dislike about SAP Concur?**

The process of adding and itemizing expenses is quite confusing. It’s not always clear where to attach receipts or how to categorize certain transactions. The interface feels cluttered and takes time to get used to, which makes expense submission slower than it should be.

**What problems is SAP Concur solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps manage and record all business expenses digitally, reducing manual paperwork. Since it connects with my Amex card, all expenses are automatically logged, which saves time during audits and reimbursements. Despite the learning curve, it keeps expense tracking transparent and centralized.

 ### 29. Improves Expense Management, Needs Backend Enhancements

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Tisa C. | Corporate Event Planner, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 12, 2026

**What do you like best about SAP Concur?**

For personal expenses, SAP Concur is incredible. It's quick, easy to use, and goes directly to our accounting teams for fast approval and payment. When I first started, it was easy to download to my phone and begin using immediately.

**What do you dislike about SAP Concur?**

There are lots of limitations. You can’t use characters in vendor names, you can’t export allocations to excel during coding for easy viewing, etc. They just need more user friendly updates on the corporate back end portion.

**What problems is SAP Concur solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use SAP Concur for expense reimbursement and allocating corporate card purchases among departments. It's quick and easy for personal expenses, with fast approval and payment.

 ### 30. Comprehensive Tool, But Needs a More Intuitive UI

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 18, 2026

**What do you like best about SAP Concur?**

I like that SAP Concur is a comprehensive tool for managing travel expenses and streamlining invoice processing in my company. I primarily use the expense tool because it fits our needs well.

**What do you dislike about SAP Concur?**

I find it sometimes not as intuitive and user-friendly as it can be. When you are editing, it can be a little bit more user-friendly and perhaps prompt you on what you should do. I think sometimes it can be a little clunky.

**What problems is SAP Concur solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use SAP Concur for managing travel expenses and streamlining invoice processing in my company.

 ### 31. Time-Saving but Challenging for New Users

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Andy D. | Affiliate Group Manager, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 12, 2026

**What do you like best about SAP Concur?**

I like how my card spend feeds into SAP Concur, making the process of submitting expenses easy to repeat once I've learned it. For accommodation, I appreciate the ease with which I can choose hotels and that it saves time from having to check multiple websites.

**What do you dislike about SAP Concur?**

The platform is quite difficult to use once you first access it. I would like to see some functions being simplified or tutorials given.

**What problems is SAP Concur solving and how is that benefiting you?**

SAP Concur solves the issue of searching for accommodation across multiple sites by consolidating options and logging expenses automatically from my company card, saving me time.

 ### 32. Easy Expense Submissions, but Overall Experience Could Be Better

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Hospital & Health Care | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 08, 2026

**What do you dislike about SAP Concur?**

not really much I dislike about the company. it is streamlined to use and I do not mind submitting my expenses through the SAP concur system to submit expenses

**What problems is SAP Concur solving and how is that benefiting you?**

the problem that sap concur is solving is that they have a platform to submit expenses that I use to submit my business expenses. without the website I would have to do it manually

 ### 33. Easy Expense Reporting, But Too Many Errors and Warnings

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 17, 2026

**What do you like best about SAP Concur?**

An organization as large as mine needs software like this. It is relatively easy to navigate and create expense reports and claim individual expenses.

**What do you dislike about SAP Concur?**

It seems to throw up errors and warnings most of the time, even though an expense is entered correctly. This happens so much that you pretty much ignore them, otherwise you won't ever finish your expense report in time for submission.

**What problems is SAP Concur solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I have noticed that SAP Concur has been trying to improve the product. This has entailed more user friendly UI and simpler workflows as far as I can tell.

 ### 34. Reliable travel & expense management with strong compliance but outdated UX

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** David J. | Consultant, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 20, 2025

**What do you like best about SAP Concur?**

SAP Concur provides a structured and compliant framework for handling travel and expense processes end to end. Its biggest strength is the automation of tedious tasks like receipt capture, policy checks, and approvals, which significantly reduces manual workload. The mobile app makes it easy to submit expenses on the go, and integrations with travel partners streamline booking and reimbursement. For organizations that need transparent audit trails and consistent enforcement of travel policies, Concur provides reliability and governance that email- or spreadsheet-based processes simply cannot offer.

**What do you dislike about SAP Concur?**

The user interface feels outdated and unintuitive, especially for employees who only use it occasionally. Basic tasks sometimes require unnecessary clicks, and the navigation can be confusing. Performance varies across devices, and the mobile app lacks the smoothness expected from modern business apps. Customization options are limited, so aligning specific business rules often becomes cumbersome. Integration with ERP systems works but can be fragile, and dealing with exceptions or errors often requires manual intervention. Support can be slow when issues escalate beyond standard scenarios.

**What problems is SAP Concur solving and how is that benefiting you?**

SAP Concur solves the chaos of manual expense reporting by centralizing booking, submission, validation, and reimbursement in one system. It removes dependency on emails, paper receipts, and inconsistent processes across departments. Policy enforcement becomes automated, reducing non-compliant claims and improving cost control. The platform also increases transparency for finance teams by providing clear reporting, standardized workflows, and complete audit trails. Overall, it reduces administrative overhead and improves both compliance and employee productivity.

 ### 35. Streamlined Travel Management, Needs UI Improvement

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Adam M. | Senior Technical Writer, Information Technology and Services, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 19, 2025

**What do you like best about SAP Concur?**

I like how SAP Concur enables our team to manage approvals and organize their own travel efficiently, accommodating our business policies and personal accounts. This feature assists me in planning trips without hassle. I appreciate that it simplifies the process of claiming expenses after business trips, making reimbursement seamless and straightforward. The extensive database is another aspect I value; it effectively streamlines our travel planning by providing comprehensive travel options that can easily be booked directly through the system. This integrated ecosystem removes the burden of managing multiple platforms or tracking excessive paperwork independently. Overall, these features of SAP Concur greatly enhance our business travel experience by offering a cohesive and manageable solution.

**What do you dislike about SAP Concur?**

I found the user interface to be quite clunky when I first started using SAP Concur. There was an overwhelming visibility of options available, yet my account didn't have the necessary permissions to access some of those features, like searching for flights and hotels for business conferences. This was confusing because it presented options that I couldn't use, leading to frustration when submitting requests that couldn’t be completed due to lack of permissions. It would be beneficial if the dashboard were decluttered and permissions-based visibility were improved. Additionally, the initial setup was challenging due to the learning curve involved, particularly before accounts and permissions were properly configured.

**What problems is SAP Concur solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use SAP Concur to streamline travel approvals and organize travel based on accounts. It assists in claiming expenses post-travel and simplifies booking by providing options, eliminating separate bookings and paperwork within the same ecosystem.
