## SAP Concur Reviews
 ### 1. Effortless Mobile Receipt Capture, but a Dated UI and Unclear Policy Flags

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Payam A. | Data Analysis , Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 21, 2026

**What do you like best about SAP Concur?**

What I like most about SAP Concur is how streamlined and effortless the expense reporting process is. The mobile app makes capturing receipts quick and accurate using OCR technology—I can simply snap a photo of a receipt, and it automatically populates the details into an expense item. It significantly reduces manual data entry, cuts down on lost receipts during business travel, and ensures prompt approval and reimbursement workflows.

**What do you dislike about SAP Concur?**

The user interface feels dated and unintuitive compared to modern web applications. Navigating between different screens, line items, and approval levels can require unnecessary extra clicks, making the process clunky. Additionally, error messages or policy flags aren’t always clear, forcing users to guess which specific field or item needs correcting before re-submitting.

**What problems is SAP Concur solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We used to spend countless hours manually cross-checking receipts against company policy and accounting codes. SAP Concur automates policy compliance checks directly at submission, flagging out-of-policy expenses immediately.

 ### 2. Easy Setup and Smooth Receipt Uploads with SAP Concur

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Christopher H. | Director of Compliance and Analytics, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 21, 2026

**What do you like best about SAP Concur?**

Easy to set up profile and banking information. I also appreciate how simple it is to upload receipts and track reimbursement status. The mobile app is helpful too.

**What do you dislike about SAP Concur?**

While SAP Concur is generally easy to use, there are some areas that could be improved. Opening and accessing expense reports can sometimes be more complicated than expected, especially when navigating between reports or trying to locate a specific submission. Receipt capture is also inconsistent at times, as the system does not always scan or extract information accurately, requiring manual corrections. Another area that could use improvement is the handling of taxes. Tax calculations and coding can generate errors or require additional adjustments, which adds unnecessary time to the expense reporting process. While these issues are usually manageable, they can become frustrating when submitting multiple reports or working under tight deadlines. Improving the reliability of receipt scanning, simplifying report navigation, and reducing tax-related errors would make the overall experience much smoother and more efficient for users.

**What problems is SAP Concur solving and how is that benefiting you?**

SAP Concur makes it easy to manage my travel expenses while I'm on the road. My job requires frequent travel, so being able to enter expenses, upload receipts, and submit reports directly from my mobile device is extremely convenient. It saves time, keeps everything organized, and reduces the risk of losing receipts or forgetting to record expenses until I return to the office.

 ### 3. Powerful Expense & Travel Management with Strong Controls and SAP Integration

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kuldip B. | IT Director, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 22, 2026

**What do you like best about SAP Concur?**

SAP Concur is a strong expense and travel management solution, particularly for medium to large organizations. It helps automate expense reporting, streamline approvals, improve compliance, and integrate with financial systems such as SAP. While it offers powerful features and robust controls, some users find the interface less intuitive and the implementation process complex. Overall, it is a good choice for organizations looking to improve efficiency and visibility in their travel and expense management processes.

**What do you dislike about SAP Concur?**

One of the main drawbacks of SAP Concur is that its user interface can feel outdated and difficult to navigate. Users often report that submitting expenses requires too many steps, making the process time-consuming. The system can also be expensive to implement and maintain, particularly for smaller organizations. Additionally, some users experience slow performance and find that configuring workflows and reports requires significant administrative effort.

**What problems is SAP Concur solving and how is that benefiting you?**

SAP Concur is solving the challenges of manual expense reporting, travel booking, and reimbursement processing. By automating these tasks, it reduces administrative workload, improves compliance with company policies, and provides better visibility into employee spending. This benefits the organization through faster approvals, more accurate expense tracking, reduced errors, and increased efficiency, allowing employees and finance teams to focus on higher-value activities.

 ### 4. Clear Expense Claim Submissions with Helpful Status Updates

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Emma M. | Learning and Development Coordinator (Early Careers), Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 10, 2026

**What do you like best about SAP Concur?**

it's quite clear what different documents you need to upload in order for your expenses claims to be approved. I also like that you get emails to keep you updated with the status of your claim so you know how it's progressing.

**What do you dislike about SAP Concur?**

I think some of the functionality could be improved when I'm submitting claims sometimes I feel like the processes are unnecessarily long. I also think some of the fields of information you have to input our duplicates.

**What problems is SAP Concur solving and how is that benefiting you?**

it creates a structured process for claiming your expenses back and it provides a paper trail so you always know what's going on with your expenses and consistency amongst employees

 ### 5. Time-Saving Mobile OCR and Seamless Travel + Expense Management

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Muhammad I. | CRM Executive, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 27, 2026

**What do you like best about SAP Concur?**

What I like best about SAP Concur is how much time the mobile receipt scanning saves by using OCR to automatically populate expense details from a quick photo. Having travel booking and expense reporting seamlessly combined into one platform, alongside direct integrations with services like Uber and major credit cards, makes the entire process practically effortless and drastically speeds up reimbursements.

**What do you dislike about SAP Concur?**

The outdated interface feels slow and clunky to navigate, and itemizing complex receipts like hotel bills is tedious. Additionally, occasional sync delays with corporate credit cards can un-necessarily drag out the expense submission process.

**What problems is SAP Concur solving and how is that benefiting you?**

SAP Concur solves the hassle of manual expense tracking, paper receipts, and delayed reimbursements by automating expense reporting and travel booking on a single platform. It benefits users by allowing quick receipt capture via mobile, automatically syncing transactions, and enforcing company policy upfront, which drastically cuts down on admin time and speeds up payout turnarounds.

 ### 6. Fast, Easy Receipt Submissions with a Time-Saving Mobile App

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Isabelle L. | Enterprise Account Manager Nordics, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 15, 2026

**What do you like best about SAP Concur?**

The mobile app makes it really easy — you just take a photo of your receipt or upload a file, and it scans and reads it automatically. After that it's basically just a couple of clicks to submit. Saves a lot of time compared to doing it manually.

**What do you dislike about SAP Concur?**

The receipt scanning can be a bit slow at times — it would be a better experience if it processed a bit faster. A small improvement, but it would make an already smooth workflow even quicker.

**What problems is SAP Concur solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It streamlines the whole expense reporting process, making it quick and straightforward to submit claims. The biggest benefit for me is the fast turnaround — once submitted, reimbursements come through quickly, which is great compared to more manual processes.

 ### 7. Simple UI Makes Expense Claims and Approval Notifications Effortless

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sebastian L. | ICT Senior Executive, Information Technology and Services, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 27, 2026

**What do you like best about SAP Concur?**

The UI is straightforward to use, and creating an expense claim is really easy. I simply create a report and then add my expenses. The receipt-scanning feature is also very convenient. Last year they updated the portal, and it now looks much cleaner and definitely loads faster.

**What do you dislike about SAP Concur?**

If you need to claim mileage, the mileage calculator could use some improvement. Right now, you have to type the full address or place name to pinpoint a location. It would be much easier if the map were interactive, so you could select the location directly on the map instead of having to enter everything manually.

**What problems is SAP Concur solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As a user, I didn’t have many options for app integrations at first. Over time, though, they’ve rolled out more apps that can connect with Concur, and that has gradually made things easier. The integration I end up using most often is Grab.

 ### 8. Streamlined Expense Management with Room for UI Improvement

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Vilashini B. | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 02, 2026

**What do you like best about SAP Concur?**

I like how SAP Concur streamlines the entire expense claim process, handling everything from submitting claims to approval and tracking in one place. The approval workflow is very straightforward, and it cuts down on back-and-forth communication, making the whole process smooth. What makes it valuable is that everyone involved follows the same process. Employees know where to submit their claims, managers can approve them quickly, and finance has all the information they need in one place. It effectively helps us manage business travel, claim reimbursements, and employee invoices, replacing all the manual paperwork, reducing our workload, and making the process faster.

**What do you dislike about SAP Concur?**

While SAP Concur is effective, the interface could be more user-friendly. Simplifying the navigation, reducing the number of steps for common tasks, and providing clearer status throughout the approval process could make it even more efficient. The interface could be simplified to make common tasks easier to complete, like reducing the number of clicks required to create and submit an expense report, using clearer labels and icons, and making frequently used functions more accessible. Better search and filter options for expense reports would also help.

**What problems is SAP Concur solving and how is that benefiting you?**

SAP Concur helps us manage business travel, claim reimbursements, and invoices, eliminating manual paperwork. It streamlines the approval process, keeps receipts organized, and gives better visibility to finance and payroll teams, reducing workload and communication back-and-forth.

 ### 9. Powerful for Complex, Global Transactions—But Costly and Demanding to Implement

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jessie S. | Accountant, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 22, 2026

**What do you like best about SAP Concur?**

SAP is a good fit for large businesses that deal with varying tax codes and complex transactions. In particular, SAP can process multiple currencies and handle millions of transactions across thousands of users. Some other ERP systems on the market have limitations on user capacity and may not support different statutory laws as well as SAP does.

**What do you dislike about SAP Concur?**

SAP can be expensive, depending on the size of the business. It also takes a long time to implement and requires highly specialized IT skills. For a small or mid-sized business, it can be financially draining and very complex to manage.

**What problems is SAP Concur solving and how is that benefiting you?**

SAP Concur helps streamline employee expense claims, travel costs, and invoice processing while improving compliance and audit readiness. The automation reduces manual effort, minimizes errors, accelerates approvals and reimbursements, and provides better visibility into spending trends.

 ### 10. An enterprise grade All-in-One Expense and Travel Management with a couple considerations

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Craig A. | GM & CTO APAC, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 27, 2026

**What do you like best about SAP Concur?**

It offers extensive capabilities for managing business expenses overall. I like that I can handle both personal and team expenses in the same app, and that business travel can also be booked and managed there, including flights and accommodation. The UI is intuitive and easy to navigate, but it still feels a bit bare-bones. The bigger drawback is the lack of meaningful automation, which creates manual overhead that could likely be reduced with a few basic workflow additions.

**What do you dislike about SAP Concur?**

The lack of basic automation is frustrating and creates significant administrative overhead, which feels like an odd gap given the breadth of integrations available. The mobile app is well laid out, but it doesn’t seem to integrate meaningfully with the web UI beyond capturing receipts on the phone.

**What problems is SAP Concur solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use Concur as our source of truth for global expense management, and its support for multiple currencies is hugely beneficial for us. It also integrates with our back-office applications, which helps keep everything connected and consistent.

 ### 11. Easy Drag-and-Drop and a Smart, Logical Data Entry Flow

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jamieson P. | Business Optimization Lead, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 21, 2026

**What do you like best about SAP Concur?**

The drag and drop are easy to use which saves Signiant time. It is simple to enter information thanks to a smart layout. All data entry is laid out in a logical sequence, so it makes sense of what data is needed and when.

**What do you dislike about SAP Concur?**

Most users internally generally dislike SAP Concur for its clunky, outdated interface, slow load times, and overly complicated expense submission process. Users frequently cite a steep learning curve and frustrating mobile app bugs, often expressing that the software makes it difficult to quickly submit standard, low-dollar expenses.

**What problems is SAP Concur solving and how is that benefiting you?**

SAP Concur solves the problems of fragmented corporate travel, manual expense reporting, and paper-based accounts payable. It benefits us by automating expense tracking, ensuring policy compliance, and centralizing spend data, ultimately reducing reimbursement times and administrative work.

 ### 12. SAP Concur Makes Expense Tracking Easy with Mobile Receipt Scanning and Card Integration

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Devansh Kedia . | SEO Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 19, 2026

**What do you like best about SAP Concur?**

Having a strong mobile app and ExpenseIt receipt scanning capability makes SAP Concur particularly effective. With the ability to take pictures of receipts while on the move, managing expenses across several projects can save time significantly. I enjoy using the easy integration with my business credit card; this allows for transactions to be added automatically to the system, streamlining the process of entering data and matching receipts to the line items in my receipt journal every month.

**What do you dislike about SAP Concur?**

Using the old desktop interface is very inconvenient when you are trying to break down expenses for multiple days, such as hotel stays. You would need to spend a few hours getting to know the specific drop down menus and acronyms for cost centers before you would be able to understand what each represents. In addition, sometimes the scanned receipt will not pick up the tax or total correctly, and this will turn into a compliance flag that will take additional time to resolve before submitting your expense report.

**What problems is SAP Concur solving and how is that benefiting you?**

SAP Concur centralizes all project expense tracking and the management of employee business travel. Traditional manual processes are replaced by automated expense reports. In addition to speeding up my reimbursements, SAP Concur makes certain my submissions comply with all company rules and gives me more time for business reporting instead of performing administrative functions.

 ### 13. Gets the job done, but the UX could be better

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sakshi S. | UX Designer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 18, 2026

**What do you like best about SAP Concur?**

What I like most about SAP Concur is that it brings expense reporting and travel management into one place. Once you get used to it, submitting expenses, attaching receipts, and tracking approvals becomes pretty straightforward. The mobile app is helpful for capturing receipts on the go, which makes it easier to stay on top of things instead of doing everything at the end of the month. It also adds structure to what can otherwise be a messy, manual process.

**What do you dislike about SAP Concur?**

The interface feels dated and not very intuitive, especially for first-time users. Some workflows take more steps than they should, and it’s not always obvious where to find certain actions or information. There are also occasional glitches or sync delays, which can be frustrating when you’re trying to submit something quickly. Overall, it gets the job done, but the experience could definitely be more streamlined.

**What problems is SAP Concur solving and how is that benefiting you?**

SAP Concur solves the problem of managing expenses and reimbursements in a structured, trackable way. Instead of dealing with spreadsheets, emails, and manual approvals, everything is centralized and follows a clear workflow. For me, the main benefit is visibility. I can track the status of my reimbursements and ensure nothing falls through the cracks, which makes the whole process more predictable.

 ### 14. Reliable and Efficient Expense Management Tool for Growing Teams

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Archit J. | Security Engineer, Information Technology and Services, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 18, 2026

**What do you like best about SAP Concur?**

Having used SAP Concur for expense management over the years, I’d say its biggest advantage is how seamlessly it automates the entire expense reporting process. The mobile app makes it very easy to capture receipts on the go and submit claims without delays. Its integration with corporate credit cards also helps a lot, since transactions are imported automatically and that saves a significant amount of manual data entry.

On the approval side, the workflows feel smooth and transparent—managers can review and approve or reject claims within minutes. Finally, the built-in audit trail and policy compliance checks have noticeably reduced errors and helped ensure our finance team stays in control.

**What do you dislike about SAP Concur?**

While SAP Concur is a robust tool overall, the user interface can feel dated and not very intuitive, particularly for first-time users. The onboarding and implementation process is fairly complex and often requires dedicated IT support to get everything set up properly. At times, the OCR receipt-scanning feature misreads amounts or vendor names, which then forces manual corrections. Customer support response times can also be slow when the issue isn’t critical. On top of that, the licensing cost is on the higher side, which may not be the best fit for smaller organizations looking for a more budget-friendly option.

**What problems is SAP Concur solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Before SAP Concur, managing employee expenses was mostly a manual, paper-based process that took a lot of time and was prone to errors as well as policy violations. SAP Concur has completely changed that by digitizing and automating the full expense lifecycle, from submission to approval and reimbursement. As a result, it has significantly reduced the time our finance team spends on reconciliation and auditing, and it has made the process more consistent overall. Having real-time visibility into company spending has also helped us make better budgeting decisions. Overall, SAP Concur has improved accountability, enabled faster reimbursements for employees, and strengthened financial control across the organization.

 ### 15. Easy Expense Management and Smooth ERP Integration

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Naveen R. | Senior IT auditor, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 21, 2026

**What do you like best about SAP Concur?**

The expense module is easy to use allowing allocating expenses to right categories. Integration with other ERP is easy and postings can go through easily.

**What do you dislike about SAP Concur?**

The travel module can be developed further with different features for example copying itineraries which can save time for booking. Th integration with other travel agents can sometime be a hassle.

**What problems is SAP Concur solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I can register my expenses as an end user and also book my business travels. As an admin I can easily set limits and policies based on our companies global travel policy.

 ### 16. Efficient Expense Management with Room for UI Improvements

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 30, 2026

**What do you like best about SAP Concur?**

I use SAP Concur daily to manage and submit my corporate expenses, mileage logs, and travel receipts. It helps streamline the entire approval workflow between employees and the finance department, keeping all digital invoices organized in one centralized platform. What I like most is the mobile receipt capture feature. Being able to just snap a photo of an invoice on my phone and have the system automatically scan the data saves a huge amount of manual tracking time. The automated corporate card integration works incredibly well. It pulls transactions directly into the system, and the automated policy-checking feature instantly flags any non-compliant expenses, which eliminates guesswork and prevents approval delays. Additionally, SAP Concur integrates with Microsoft Teams for instant notifications regarding expense approval statuses. It also works in the background with Workday to automatically sync employee profiles and cost centers, ensuring that data flows seamlessly between HR and finance.

**What do you dislike about SAP Concur?**

The user interface feels a bit dated and clunky compared to modern apps, which can make navigation difficult. Sometimes the OCR misreads details on crumpled or faded receipts, requiring manual corrections. I would specifically like to see a more intuitive, modernized dashboard that reduces the number of clicks needed to create and submit an expense report. Implementing a drag and drop interface for uploading multiple receipts at once, along with cleaner, less cluttered menu navigation, would significantly improve the daily user experience.

**What problems is SAP Concur solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use SAP Concur to manage expenses and receipts, streamlining approval workflows. Its mobile receipt capture and corporate card integration save time with automatic policy checks.

 ### 17. User-Friendly Expense Management with Great Support

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kat B. | Hospital Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 22, 2026

**What do you like best about SAP Concur?**

I use SAP Concur for categorizing expenses and reimbursement, and I find it to be an easy-to-use system. The receipts are easy to upload, and it offers clear reporting features to track expenditure and the status of claims. It's a solid product that is versatile enough to be used by multiple people in the organization with little training. The app is also great for quickly uploading receipts and handling reimbursements, especially when I am traveling. The reporting is quite insightful, and it tracks expenses well. The setup is extremely simple, and the SAP Concur team is very good at helping with the onboarding process.

**What do you dislike about SAP Concur?**

Nothing springs to mind

**What problems is SAP Concur solving and how is that benefiting you?**

SAP Concur helps keep my expenses organized with easy receipt uploads and clear reporting. It's great for reimbursements, especially when traveling. The app simplifies expense management and provides insightful tracking.

 ### 18. Expense Reporting with Helpful AI

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ethan N. | Chairperson, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 04, 2026

**What do you like best about SAP Concur?**

It makes expense reports easy to create, track, and follow. I've been able to even use its AI features to fill out specific parts of the expense report and easily move forward. It definitely just works.

**What do you dislike about SAP Concur?**

I don't dislike much about it. It's part of the SAP software suite, which itself can be a bit of a downside depending on which products you're using. Overall, though, it could be better at importing receipts and parsing the receipt for the relevant information to fill out the expense report for you.

**What problems is SAP Concur solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It's solving my need to create expense reports for travel, events, and other corporate-related uses and getting that to finance folks so they can sort those out with minimal input from me.

 ### 19. All-in-One Expense Management, But the UI and Navigation Need Streamlining

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ilva M. | UX designer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 11, 2026

**What do you like best about SAP Concur?**

What I like best about SAP Concur is how it centralizes expense management, travel booking, and approvals in one system. It makes it easier to track expenses, submit receipts, and manage reimbursements without needing multiple tools. The mobile app is also helpful because you can quickly photograph receipts and upload them right away, which saves time and reduces the risk of losing them. Additionally, the automated approval workflows and policy checks help ensure expenses follow company rules, making the process smoother for both employees and finance teams.

**What do you dislike about SAP Concur?**

One of the main downsides of SAP Concur is that the interface can feel outdated and not very intuitive, especially for new users. Some tasks, like submitting expenses or navigating between different sections, can require too many steps. The system can also be slow at times, and error messages are not always very clear, which makes troubleshooting difficult. Additionally, customizing reports or finding specific information can take longer than expected, as the navigation and filtering options are not always straightforward.

**What problems is SAP Concur solving and how is that benefiting you?**

SAP Concur helps solve the problem of managing business travel and expenses in a structured and compliant way. Instead of tracking receipts, reimbursements, and approvals manually or across different tools, everything is handled in one system.

For me, the biggest benefit is saving time and keeping expenses organized. I can easily submit expenses, attach receipts, and track the approval status without needing to email finance or keep paper receipts. It also helps ensure that expenses follow company policies, since the system automatically checks rules and routes reports to the correct approvers. This makes the reimbursement process clearer and more transparent for both employees and the finance team.

 ### 20. Simple, Organized Expense and Travel Management with SAP Concur

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Yash B. | Software Engineer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 13, 2026

What I like most about SAP Concur is that it makes expense and travel management very simple and organized. It allows employees to easily submit expenses, upload receipts, and track approvals in one place. The automation reduces manual work and errors, saving time for both employees and finance teams. Overall, it improves transparency and speeds up the reimbursement process.

**What do you dislike about SAP Concur?**

One drawback of SAP Concur is that the interface can sometimes feel complex and not very user-friendly for new users. Expense submission and approvals may take multiple steps, which can slow down the process. Also, occasional syncing or mobile app issues can make receipt uploads or updates slightly inconvenient.

**What problems is SAP Concur solving and how is that benefiting you?**

For me, the benefit is that I can easily submit expenses, upload receipts, and track reimbursement status in one system, saving time and making the process more transparent. It also ensures faster approvals and better visibility of company spending.

 ### 21. Convenient Expense Management with Efficient Receipt Capture

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Manufacturing | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 24, 2026

I find using SAP Concur convenient and love the map feature because it automatically calculates the distance between two destinations. The camera feature to take pictures of receipts is the best part for me. I also appreciated how very easy the initial setup was.

**What do you dislike about SAP Concur?**

I find the system of moving expenses between reports quite clunky, it is would also be nice to integrate with google maps for mileage so that it directly fed in

**What problems is SAP Concur solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I find SAP Concur easy for auto-calculating distances with the map feature and convenient for taking pictures of receipts. It’s also convenient to have a centralised platform to handle the workflow of expenses instead of manually send emails with managers approving

 ### 22. Solid Integration, But Needs More Customization

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Alexandre F. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 20, 2026

**What do you like best about SAP Concur?**

I really like the integrated database of SAP Concur. The native integration with FICO is something I consider valuable, as it simplifies travel expense management processes and makes them more reliable. Additionally, the integration with the finance module is a highlight, as it prevents manual errors, parallel controls, and rework. I found the initial setup of SAP Concur quite simple, which was an advantage for starting to use the system quickly.

**What do you dislike about SAP Concur?**

The options, the lack of some resources regarding the rates and travel benefits by employee group, and the non-Fiori UX. There could be more customization options or specifics that can be added or integrated with demands coming from modules like MM, for example, regarding the management of travel supplier contracts without the need to involve third-party companies to handle this administration.

**What problems is SAP Concur solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use SAP Concur to manage employee travel expenses. It offers an integrated database, a streamlined and reliable process, avoids manual errors, parallel controls, and rework. The native integration with FICO is a great advantage.

 ### 23. Easy Expense Approvals and Travel Booking

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sudarshan H. | Senior Member of Technical Staff, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 17, 2026

**What do you like best about SAP Concur?**

It’s easy to submit expenses and get them approved. It’s also great for searching flights, hotels, and cabs when I’m traveling for business. Overall, travel management feels really straightforward with it, and it makes my business trips much less of a hassle. App center is also really nice space for exploring options.

**What do you dislike about SAP Concur?**

The app’s AI features feel limited right now. It may be useful for creating an itinerary, but I’d like to see stronger AI capabilities overall, especially to make report approvals faster and smoother. I’d also appreciate more integrations in the App Center, since having additional options there would make the app more flexible.

**What problems is SAP Concur solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps me search for flights, hotels, and cabs when I’m traveling for business. The app center also makes it easy to explore different available options and integrations, so I can choose what works best for my needs.

 ### 24. Robust Travel and Expense Solution with Room for Improvement

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Chirag S. | Senior Software Engineer - AI/ML, Information Technology and Services, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 18, 2026

**What do you like best about SAP Concur?**

I love SAP Concur's travel module. It's really good because it has so many integrated partners allowing me to book flights, hotels, and other services directly. Additionally, the AI features are impressive; I can scan receipts using my phone, and it automatically categorizes items and associates costs in the expense entry. This is a very good feature. The integration of partners like airline and hotel services, along with the ability to compare prices directly within the platform, enhances the experience significantly.

**What do you dislike about SAP Concur?**

There are some features on the analytics side that could be improved, specifically the reporting side. Right now, there's a lack of dashboard feasibility, and if we want intelligent automation, that can be improved. The current Cognos reporting is fine, but on visualization and analytics purposes, there could be more. The budget side configuration also requires more flexibility, as it takes a lot of time to set up.

**What problems is SAP Concur solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use SAP Concur for expense management, handling travel plans, and processing employee expenses systematically, reducing the manual process, and providing budget control and refund flexibility.

 ### 25. User-Friendly Expense Management with SAP Concur

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

I really like how easy and user-friendly SAP Concur is for me and other staff members. It makes saving invoices and receipts simple, giving us easy access to them whenever needed. I also appreciate being able to upload and store bills and receipts all in one place, which makes it easier to access and sort through when I need them. Plus, it seems very easy to use from my experience with it.

**What do you dislike about SAP Concur?**

nothing the software is pretty viable

**What problems is SAP Concur solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use SAP Concur for tracking expenses, dealing with reports, storing receipts, and monitoring status updates. It's very user-friendly, making it easy for staff to learn, and allows me to upload and access bills and receipts in one place.

 ### 26. Streamlined, Consistent Expense Management—But the Interface Can Feel Overcomplicated

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Oil & Energy | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 28, 2026

**What do you like best about SAP Concur?**

What I like most about SAP Concur is that it makes expense management much simpler and more consistent. this would be particularly useful given our global workforce, as it would improve visibility, streamline approvals and help ensure policies are applied consistently across countries. I also used it at previous company and found it effective in reducing manual work and giving both employees and managers a clear record of expenses and approvals.

**What do you dislike about SAP Concur?**

The main drawback is that SAP Concur can feel more complicated than it needs to be. The interface is not always intuitive, particularly for occasional users, and some processes require too many steps.

**What problems is SAP Concur solving and how is that benefiting you?**

SAP Concur helps bring expense management into one place, making it easier to submit claims, manage approvals and maintain a clear audit trail. It reduces manual administration, improves visibility over spending and helps ensure expense policies are applied consistently. This saves time for employees, managers and finance teams, while also reducing errors and making reporting more reliable.

 ### 27. Smart Receipt Scanning and Seamless Trip Expense Reports

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jill R. | Event Manager, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 17, 2026

**What do you like best about SAP Concur?**

I like that I can just take pics of my receipts while traveling with the mobile app and it automatically extracts the important details. That saves a lot of manual entry later and helps when or if I lose a receipt. I also appreciate that I can book flights, hotels, and rental cars for one trip and those expenses go right into one report, so then all of my trip details are connected and split up where I have to find them.

**What do you dislike about SAP Concur?**

It can be less user friendly and complex for casual users. It can also be quite redundant, asking the same questions within each individual expense..

**What problems is SAP Concur solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Since everything is done in one space, I don't have to waste my time with spreadsheets or other reports for my expenses. The turn around time is also very good. Reimbursements happen quickly.

 ### 28. SAP Concur Simplifies Expense and Travel Management

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Accounting | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 23, 2026

**What do you like best about SAP Concur?**

What I like most about SAP Concur is how much it simplifies expense and travel management. I can snap a photo of a receipt with my phone, and it automatically captures details like the amount and date, rather than having to manually enter everything the way I used to in spreadsheets. That saves me real time each month and makes the approval and reimbursement process noticeably smoother and faster.

**What do you dislike about SAP Concur?**

At times, the interface feels a bit overly complex. For instance, submitting a multi-currency expense report means navigating through several additional screens compared with a single-currency report. Loading times can also lag, especially when I attach multiple receipts at once. If navigation were streamlined and performance improved in these specific areas, the overall experience would be even better.

**What problems is SAP Concur solving and how is that benefiting you?**

SAP Concur solves the hassle of manually tracking receipts and reconciling expense reports, which used to take me hours at the end of every trip. By automating data capture and handling approval routing digitally, it reduces errors from manual entry and gives me a clear, real-time view of pending reimbursements, rather than forcing me to chase paper trails or juggle spreadsheets.

 ### 29. Strong travel + expense integration, but UI and reporting feel dated and pricey

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 21, 2026

**What do you like best about SAP Concur?**

I like that it brings travel booking and expense management together in one place, and that it can integrate with corporate credit card programs. Being able to embed our own travel policy in the background is also a big plus. That said, the user interface feels like it’s lagging behind other providers in the industry, which offer a more modern platform.
From a performance perspective I find it to be on par with other providers. On pricing and ROI, their pricing is more expensive and the ROI is lagging behind. Support and onboarding is ok, not stellar. AI/Intelligence wise, their reports and dashboarding are lagging behind other providers such as Navan.

**What do you dislike about SAP Concur?**

Since its acquisition by SAP, there hasn’t been enough investment in the product. It also isn’t a true end-to-end solution, because it doesn’t have an in-house credit card program and instead relies on third-party integrations with corporate card programs. On top of that, the reporting capabilities feel outdated and don’t measure up to other solutions.

**What problems is SAP Concur solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Concur solved our problem of not having an in-house expense management tool. It gave us clear visibility into our travel spend, helped ensure expense reports were submitted on time, and automated integration with our GL. This, in turn, supported a timely close of our financials and improved cost allocation by cost center. It also saved time as finance professionals could use the time to do other things, while in the past they manually entered expenses and reviewed reports.

 ### 30. Expense Tracking with Time-Saving Receipt Capture in SAP Concur

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Heena B. | Executive Legal Assistant, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 13, 2026

**What do you like best about SAP Concur?**

What I like most about SAP Concur is how easy it makes submitting and tracking expenses. The receipt capture feature in SAP Concur saves me a lot of time, and the automatic import of card transactions helps keep everything organized, accurate, and easy to follow.

**What do you dislike about SAP Concur?**

One thing I dislike about SAP Concur is that the interface can feel a bit complicated at times, especially when I’m creating or editing expense reports. Simple tasks occasionally require a few extra steps, and moving between different sections of the app isn’t always as intuitive as I’d expect.

**What problems is SAP Concur solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Manual expense reporting, lack of visibility in spending, slow approval.
Concur solves the challenge of manually tracking and submitting expenses by automating receipts, card transactions, and approvals. This saves time, reduces errors, and makes it easier for me to submit and track expenses until reimbursement.

 ### 31. Streamlined Reports, Occasional Glitches

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 21, 2026

**What do you like best about SAP Concur?**

I like how easy SAP Concur is to use. All of the different functions make it feel 20 times easier to identify where anything is compared to other software I've used before. It's super convenient and easy to pick up, with nothing too complicated.

**What do you dislike about SAP Concur?**

I do feel like there are some errors within SAP Concur where if you're inside a certain function, it can mess you up. If you're unable to fill in a certain field, the system might glitch out and not be able to process certain things. Sometimes, when I'm running a process, nothing will load, and it would just keep loading. It's just random, although sometimes I can predict it based on how slow it's running, but other times, it just won't process certain functions.

**What problems is SAP Concur solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use SAP Concur for downloading reports, which lets me easily access data and reconcile bank sheets and expense reports.

 ### 32. A Convenient All-in-One Tool for Managing travel

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Tahir H. | Principle Product Manager - OneStream, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 17, 2026

**What do you like best about SAP Concur?**

Sap concur is a very useful trip planning tool. I find it a convenient place to manage all my trip planning elements from Hotels, flights and car hire. It has links to all major airlines and major hotel brands as well as car hire companies. You can also add in your memberships to get points

**What do you dislike about SAP Concur?**

Sometimes SAP Concur does not have all the low cost carriers enabled. When booking hotels not all hotel rates are visible and you do have to click the hotel and request the rates which then pulls through.

**What problems is SAP Concur solving and how is that benefiting you?**

In this company it is being used as the one stop shop to manage all travel plans for employees. The benefit is everyone is hung a common tool so managed by one team, it is leverages better rates and applies to all.

 ### 33. SAP Concur Makes Expense Tracking and Reporting Easy and Organized

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Riya A. | Marketing Operations Analyst, Information Technology and Services, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 17, 2026

**What do you like best about SAP Concur?**

What I like best about SAP Concur is that it makes expense tracking and reporting much easier and organized.

All the expense and travel data is stored in one place, which helps reduce manual work and makes the data more accurate. This is especially useful for reporting, as it becomes easier to track spending and create clear reports.

The automation features, like uploading receipts and generating expense reports, also save a lot of time. Overall, it improves visibility into company spending and helps in making better decisions based on data.

**What do you dislike about SAP Concur?**

One thing I dislike about SAP Concur is that the user interface can feel a bit outdated and not very intuitive at times. Some features take time to understand, especially for new users, which can slow down the overall process. Tasks like submitting expenses or navigating between sections are not always as smooth as expected.
Also, while the platform offers strong reporting capabilities, customizing reports can sometimes be limited or require additional effort.

**What problems is SAP Concur solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It solves the problem of managing and tracking company expenses in a structured way. Without a system like this, expense tracking can be very manual, scattered across different tools. It also becomes difficult to maintain consistency and visibility across teams. It brings all expense, travel, and invoice data into one platform and automates processes like receipt capture, expense submission, and approvals.

For me, this is beneficial because it provides clean and centralized data, which makes reporting much easier. It also reduces manual effort and improves data accuracy, allowing me to focus more on analyzing spending patterns and generating insights instead of fixing data issues.

Overall, it helps in better budget tracking and supports more data-driven decision-making.

 ### 34. Easy way to manage expenses

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

 ### 35. Streamlines Invoice Processing with Some Glitches

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 08, 2026

**What do you like best about SAP Concur?**

I use SAP Concur to process and review invoices, and it's great for amending approval workflows and running reports. It streamlines the approval delegation of authority processes and makes it easier to process invoices because it automatically picks up the invoice number. I really like how SAP Concur helps make work more efficient. Before using it, we gained approvals via email and processed invoices manually, which increased the risk of errors. Now, once I click submit, the invoice goes straight to the approver, and then to the next approver when they approve, so I don't need to check how approvals are proceeding as much.

**What do you dislike about SAP Concur?**

Its approval matrix is quite intricate and there isn't much room for personalization. Also, if a workflow is submitted without approvers, it gets approved straight away which is a high control risk. And when you realize you need to change the vendor after processing the invoice before clicking submit, the approval flow disappears for some reason. So weird glitches like this are a key negative. I wasn't involved directly but I heard that the initial setup was quite intricate and tough to do. Lots of calls with systems teams were requested.

**What problems is SAP Concur solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use SAP Concur to streamline approval processes and manage invoices easier, reducing manual work and error risk. It makes my work more efficient by automating approval workflows.

 ### 36. Streamlined Expense Management, Some UI Hiccups

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Barzakh T. | Business Analyst, Information Technology and Services, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 21, 2026

**What do you like best about SAP Concur?**

I use SAP Concur to manage business travel and expense reporting, and it helps me book trips, track receipts, and submit expense claims efficiently. I like how convenient it is to have everything in one platform, which reduces the need to manually collect and organize receipts. The mobile support is great for capturing receipts on the go and automatically matching them to expenses, particularly when I'm traveling. It is time-efficient and streamlines the approval process. One of the main advantages I appreciate is the centralization of the system, meaning I don’t need to switch between different tools or keep separate spreadsheets for expenses, travel bookings, and receipts.

**What do you dislike about SAP Concur?**

Sometimes the interface feels a bit unintuitive, especially for first-time users. A key improvement would be simplifying and standardizing the user flow across both platforms. Reducing the steps required to submit or modify expenses and making frequently used actions more prominently accessible. Also, better real-time guidance like tooltips when users are stuck would help.

**What problems is SAP Concur solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use SAP Concur to manage travel and expense reporting. It simplifies booking trips, tracking receipts, and submitting claims. It reduces manual effort and errors and centralizes everything, especially with mobile receipt capture, making it time-efficient and streamlining approvals.

 ### 37. Streamlines Expense Management with Room for Integration Improvements

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Rob L. | Head of Partnerships & Insights, Marketing and Advertising, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 21, 2026

**What do you like best about SAP Concur?**

I like the customizable fields in SAP Concur that work well for matching back to our accounts and finance. The structured data and drop-downs make it easy for us to implement changes to expenses for improved reporting with the team. The latest AI feature is great for general expenses, as it allows me to upload multiple receipts and images, with most of the information being automatically pulled through. These features offer a deeper connection with our business, better reporting insights, and quicker automation capabilities. I also found the initial setup to be simple and well-guided with lots of documentation.

**What do you dislike about SAP Concur?**

I think there could be better ways to automate and speed up the concept of expenses from a personal perspective. I also wish there was better integration into mailboxes and automatic invoices, and that everything you purchase and order through connected email is better linked. Integration with other interfaces like Slack and other workspace software would be beneficial for daily activities.

**What problems is SAP Concur solving and how is that benefiting you?**

SAP Concur lets me handle expenses and view overheads easily. It provides a robust system for payments at scale. Customizable fields improve reporting, and the AI feature speeds up expense management by extracting data from multiple receipts.

**Reviewed by:** Kieran S. | Application Analyst, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**What do you like best about SAP Concur?**

The easy to use UI makes processes and system configurations really easy to create and maintain. Overall user experience is good! Makes expense and travel a simpler process

Ability to own the instance so we can maintain and control entire end to end function. Yes advanced config gives you ability to control and maintain but more permissions are needed.

**What problems is SAP Concur solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Manual expense claim processing along with manual invoice processing. Allows automated data extraction to post to our general ledger system. Leveraging apis as well to slimline our processes.

The initial setup was also very easy and simple, as I just needed to request approval from our in-house IT team, and once approved, the auto download and installation process was quite smooth.

**What do you dislike about SAP Concur?**

Too many steps for simple reimbursement process, and the interface is very outdated. Sometimes performance gets slow and due to which process gets delayed.

**What problems is SAP Concur solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I find SAP Concur's application user-friendly for uploading and tracking approvals easily. It reduces manual errors and centralizes management, saving time.

 ### 40. Game-Changer for Paperless Expense Management

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**What do you like best about SAP Concur?**

I use SAP Concur to manage and submit expenses, and it removes the need for paper receipts, saves time, and simplifies things. What I like most is the convenience. ### 41. Powerful Real-Time Insights, But can have Complex Interface for some people

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Laith Q. | Business Intelligence Developer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 10, 2026

**What do you like best about SAP Concur?**

I use SAP Concur for expense management, and it really helps our finance team by automating policy checks like limits, which reduces manual data entry and provides clear audit trails. I also appreciate the real-time dashboards and reporting features, as they offer instant insights into spending without needing to wait until the month's end. These tools allow us to quickly identify policy breaches and prevent any budget overruns before they occur. The centralized, searchable records are another feature I like, as they make it easy to find everything in one place. Additionally, it provides a live feed to monitor trends, so we can easily track cost increases in a specific region or with a vendor.

**What do you dislike about SAP Concur?**

Aside from the cost of using, which is quite high, when I started using SAP Concur, it felt complex. I feel like there is a chance the interface could be more modernized and updated. It feels like there are too many steps for simple tasks, like submitting an expense requires some steps that can be shortened. I feel like the different screens of travel, expense, and invoice feel unaligned in a sense that they are not the same. It was time-consuming and intense to be honest. We took our time to define all the policies and rules so that we don't use a ready template. Setup every approval path and exception scenario. Integration was also not very easy.

**What problems is SAP Concur solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use SAP Concur for expense management, automating expense capture, scanning receipts, standardizing reports, and reducing manual data entry.

 ### 42. Powerful Receipt Capture & Integrations, but a Click-Heavy Learning Curve

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Services | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

* Travel + expenses integration — bookings and expenses flow into the same platform, reducing manual entry.
* Approval workflows — managers can review and approve expenses without lengthy email chains.
* Policy enforcement — companies can automatically flag out-of-policy spending.
* ERP/accounting integration — it connects with many finance systems,

Complex interface – New users often find it less intuitive than newer expense-management tools.
* Too many clicks – Creating reports, allocating expenses, or fixing exceptions can sometimes require several steps.
* Mobile app limitations – While receipt capture is useful, some users feel certain tasks are easier on the desktop version.
* Customization complexity – Organizations can configure Concur extensively, but that flexibility can make administration and training more difficult.
* Slow performance at times – Some companies report delays when loading reports, approving expenses, or syncing data.
* Error messages and policy rules – Automated compliance checks are valuable, but users sometimes find them confusing or overly strict.
* Learning curve – Occasional travelers may struggle because they don’t use the system often enough to become familiar with it.

**What problems is SAP Concur solving and how is that benefiting you?**

For an employee, the benefits are usually:

1. Less administrative work

Problem: Collecting receipts, filling out expense forms, and tracking reimbursement manually is time-consuming.

Benefit to you: You can upload receipts, create expense reports more quickly, and spend less time on paperwork.

2. Faster reimbursements

Problem: Expense claims can get lost in email chains or sit waiting for approval.

**What do you dislike about SAP Concur?**

While SAP Concur is a powerful platform, the user interface can sometimes feel outdated and difficult to navigate, especially for new users. Creating and editing expense reports may require several clicks, making the process less intuitive than expected. Occasionally, the system can be slow when loading reports or processing approvals. Additionally, better customization options and a more streamlined mobile experience would further improve usability and overall user satisfaction.

**What problems is SAP Concur solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use SAP Concur to automate expense reporting and improve compliance, saving time by reducing manual data entry and errors. Integrating with travel and accounting systems streamlines workflows, offering better visibility into spending, and making business travel and expense management more efficient.

 ### 44. Effective Tool for Inventory and Expense Management with Room for Improvement

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 16, 2026

**What do you like best about SAP Concur?**

I use SAP Concur for application management and lifecycle management. I find it beneficial for proper management of the stock list, especially when we produce different types of sensors and need to track their availability, sales, and the numbers still in stock or damaged. The feature for generating invoices is also quite useful as it helps automate and integrate expenses reporting for sensor production. The system setup was easy and intuitive; I was given an account, and the dashboard was already set up, making it seamless to integrate into my workflow.

**What do you dislike about SAP Concur?**

I think the receipt generation aspect can be improved. More customization would make it easier for us to generate receipts tailored to specific customers or products.

**What problems is SAP Concur solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use SAP Concur for proper management of the stock list, tracking sensors produced, sold, in stock, or damaged. It also helps automate invoice generation and expense reporting for sensor production.

 ### 45. Comprehensive Features, Needs Improved Searchability

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 11, 2026

**What do you like best about SAP Concur?**

I like that SAP Concur offers a lot of different programs that you can use and expand to get everything we need from them. They have features like shipping, receiving, inventory control, and a lot of payroll services and financial services. It's great to have all of these features in one program instead of using four different ones. This really helps in keeping everything in one system.

**What do you dislike about SAP Concur?**

If you don't know the specific code needed for an action, it's hard to find it. You should be able to search for items by what they're actually called instead of just the code. The rollout for the entirety of the company took quite a long time. I feel like if there was better training from the get-go, it would have been a lot easier.

**What problems is SAP Concur solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use SAP Concur for planning shipments. It combines multiple programs into one, handling shipping, receiving, inventory control, and payroll, saving us from using four different tools.

Mobile app limitation: while convenient , the mobile app may lag, crash occasionally.
user Interface Complexity: The interface is not always intuitive.
Receipt matching errors: automatic receipt scanning
limited flexibility: some workflows and approval rules feel rigid.

Downsides of using SAP Concur:
Steep learning curve for first -time users.
overly complex expense categories and report setups.
delayed syncing across devices.

**What problems is SAP Concur solving and how is that benefiting you?**

SAP Concur helps me solve key business problems related to travel and expanse management:
Manual and time - consuming expense reporting.
Lack of visibility into expense status.
Errors and compliance issues.
slow approval workflow.
Disorganized travel and expense data

 ### 47. SAP Concur: A Scalable, Customizable T&E Solution with Strong Support and Compliance

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Celina S. | Manager, T&E, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 25, 2026

**What do you like best about SAP Concur?**

SAP Concur is a terrific solution for growing SMBs that are trying to manage a large quantity of expenses and travel. From very straightforward to very complex accounting set-ups, Concur has so many customizable features that you can really create a solid T&E program. If you want something basic; this isn't for you. If you really want to be able to build a scaleable T&E solution this is the right product. For example, you can incorporate the main features of your T&E Policy into Concur via audit rules in both expense and travel. You can add on a next level of features by including Descriptions and Quick Tips within your Expense Types. This adds another layer of awareness and compliance for your staff. Hence the users really get a feel that this is a custom product for them. On the back end of Concur, there are so many features that will make the finance and accounting teams pleased. There are fantastic reporting and compliance capabilities that will please auditors. Again, the brilliant thing about Concur is that you can set up the program leading with your company's preferences. Once someone is accustomed to Concur and learns the ins and outs of the program it's fairly easy to use. If you need assistance, they offer a number of support solutions, as well. The Customer Support staff have been very helpful with everything that we've thrown at them from really mundane questions to complex issues involving international staff. It's still one of the best T&E solutions around and that's because it has kept in line with all of the advances in technology and travel.

**What do you dislike about SAP Concur?**

While Concur is easy to use once you work with the product and learn the backend, it can also be overwhelming with the number of options and solutions. If you have admin access, you know what I mean. You have so many customizable options that if you don't know what you want I think you can get lost. It is an enterprise product so you need to be prepared to either learn the software or hire someone that knows it (or wants to).

**What problems is SAP Concur solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It's helping us process and organize our T&E spend. This is a huge endeavor, as we have a significant number of sales staff plus traveling staff. We are able to better help manage costs, manage the safety of our staff and manage a compliant travel program.

 ### 48. Great Sync Features, But Expensive and Complex

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Adhya P. | Intern - PT India Commercial , Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 16, 2026

**What do you like best about SAP Concur?**

I use SAP Concur to upload my travel bills, which really helps with handling hotel and taxi bills efficiently. One thing I really appreciate is how SAP Concur reduces the time in the process of reimbursement of bills. Also, I like that it can sync with company credit cards, which means I don't have to wait for reimbursements since I use the company's account directly.

**What do you dislike about SAP Concur?**

It is often expensive, making it less suitable for small businesses, and its user interface is outdated, requiring multiple steps for simple tasks. Customization options are somewhat limited. Additionally, implementation can be time-consuming and requires significant IT support.

**What problems is SAP Concur solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use SAP Concur to upload travel bills like hotel and taxi expenses, and it reduces the time in the reimbursement process. The sync with company credit cards means I don't have to wait for reimbursements.

 ### 49. Quick Receipt Capture and Automated Expense Reports Save Us Time

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Weronika N. | Freelance Marketing and Sales, Consulting, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 24, 2026

**What do you like best about SAP Concur?**

It makes submitting expenses much easier by enabling quick receipt capture and automatic report generation. This saves a lot of time and helps reduce manual errors. I also appreciate the visibility it provides into spending and approvals, which helps both employees and managers stay aligned with company policies.

**What do you dislike about SAP Concur?**

Some tasks—like editing expense reports or moving between sections—can take more steps than I’d expect, which slows the overall workflow. The mobile app is useful, but at times it feels less responsive than ideal. Also, error messages and policy flags aren’t always clear or specific, so it can take extra time to understand what needs to be corrected and move forward.

**What problems is SAP Concur solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Before tools like Concur, employees often had to manage receipts manually, rely on spreadsheets, and then wait a long time for approvals and reimbursements. Overall, the process was slow and inconsistent, and it offered very little visibility into where things stood.

 ### 50. Streamlined Expense Management with Mobile Convenience

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 18, 2026

**What do you like best about SAP Concur?**

I like that SAP Concur cuts down on the admin grind so I can focus more on actual work rather than searching for receipts. The mobile app is super handy for submitting expenses on the go. I can snap a picture of a receipt right after dinner or a cab ride, and it auto-fills many details, keeping everything organized in one spot. I also appreciate being able to create and submit reports directly from my phone without having to wait to get back to my laptop, and the real-time approvals and notifications make the whole process faster. Additionally, the connection with our ERP system like SAP S/4HANA ensures that expense data flows directly into accounting without needing duplicate entries. Switching from a manual process with spreadsheets and email approvals, SAP Concur has helped to streamline submissions, improve tracking, and reduce manual effort.

**What do you dislike about SAP Concur?**

The mobile app, although convenient, can sometimes feel a bit slow or glitchy, especially when uploading receipts or switching between reports. There have been instances where I had to retry actions, which can be frustrating when you're in a hurry. Adding a more reliable offline mode would be very useful for users who travel frequently and may not always have stable internet access. Being able to capture and save expenses offline and sync later would make the app more dependable.

**What problems is SAP Concur solving and how is that benefiting you?**

SAP Concur cuts down on the admin grind, making it easy to track and reimburse employee spending. The mobile app lets me submit expenses on the go, organize everything in one spot, and connect with SAP S/4HANA for seamless accounting without duplicate entries.
